If ya love a busy cafe, this is the space for you! The Fox in the Snow boasts a variety of delicious baked goods, savory and sweet pastries, coffee and plenty more. It is nothing but popular and was packed full, we were lucky to get a seat. Regardless, the food was quick and was quite good, though my cappuccino lacked in foam and took a while. This place is like much of Columbus: has bourgeois hype, is expensive, overly busy and quite loud. The quality of food, however, is pretty good. Try it and see! Mistake: going on a Saturday noon...

We came in for a nephew's Optometry college graduation and read about this place. It cold and raining but well worth coming here. The egg sammie was soooo yummy. We went specifically for the blueberry palette. They had run out by the time we got there. The sticky bun, apple, and chocolate pastries were deliciously decadent. There was a line but well worth it. If ever in Columbus, come to this place before 3 PM.

My wife and I visited today for the first time from out of town and had a wonderful experience! The egg sandwich was incredible. The pastries and iced coffee were also great. We are on our honeymoon and one of the workers gave us a free pastry, which was so incredibly sweet. Everyone was so nice and the place was very cute.

The atmosphere of this cafe is beautiful, the barista and staff are totally amazing! We had different pastries but the cinnamon roll and the strawberry diamond were my favorite. Also we ate the baguette which is great and the presentation is really cute. If you’re willing to work, talk or just be with yourself this is the go-to place 🫶🏻✨

The food was so good and fairly priced. The hot chocolate is to die for! Perfectly balanced and at a warm and cozy drinkable temperature right away. The service was excellent! Highly recommend if you are local or from out of town like we are.

Google
A very nice place to hangout with friends or have a breakfast. Parking is available. There are lines! Coffee is okay but there are better ones around. Pastry though is very, very good. The bread with cream cheese on top was divine. And also the one with the cheese ball in the middle. I also tried the bacon egg sandwich which is yummy too!

Visited for the first time while I’m traveling through Ohio from out of state. I’m a professional baker and cook of 17 years and these have got to be some of the best pastries I have ever had. Got the biscuit, blueberry danish and apple pie danish. Absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Baristas were friendly, vibe was chill. This place is giving me a reason to come back to Columbus !

Google
The coffee is okay, not the best I've had. The pastries are okay as well but I think they would be a lot better if they were able to heat them up, I was told that they could not heat them up for us.

Yelp
Fox in the Snow Cafe in Columbus, OH is a delightful spot that truly stands out for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional offerings. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a bright and lively ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The coffee here is absolutely amazing. Whether you're a fan of lattes, cappuccinos, or just a simple cup of joe, you won't be disappointed. Each cup is crafted with care, and the quality is evident in every sip. The food is equally impressive, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. From savory pastries to sweet treats, there's something to satisfy every craving. One of the highlights of Fox in the Snow Cafe is their giant display of pastries. It's a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. You can find everything from flaky croissants to decadent tarts, and each item looks more tempting than the last. The presentation is beautiful, and the flavors are even better. I've attached a picture to give you a glimpse of the delightful experience. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing morning coffee or a spot to catch up with friends over delicious pastries, Fox in the Snow Cafe is the perfect choice. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, excellent coffee, and mouthwatering food makes it a must-visit in Columbus.

Yelp
2 stars ONLY because they do NOT have public wifi!! I was super bummed by this - I went to work remotely and found out there was no wifi after I ordered my coffee. I have a personal hotspot on my phone with unlimited data so it wasn't a huge deal for the time I was there. I LOVE the ambiance and coffee was delicious! BUT, unless I'm going here to actually eat with people, since there is no public wifi to work I won't be there as much as I would like to be. I wish this is something they would share on their website. Maybe it's just me, but I think almost everyone assumes all coffee shops have public wifi.

Yelp
More awesomeness in coffee world with a great atrium like seating space and super nice people to serve you. One of my favorite cafes anywhere in the world! A real happy space

Yelp
A fantastic, brightly-lit coffee shop with stellar pastries, a cute interior, and friendly service. Their tomato tarte (a seasonal item in the summer), iced chai, and cinnamon roll are must tries!

Yelp
Fox in the Snow is unequivocally my favorite café and bakery! The ambiance is always lively, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Every time I visit Columbus, I make it a point to stop by as often as possible and always take some delightful treats back home to Cleveland. The service here is exceptional. I highly recommend their egg sandwich--it's the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted. The only caveat is their cold brew; it's quite bitter and doesn't improve even with cream. So, my advice would be to skip the cold brew, but everything else at Fox in the Snow is fantastic!"

Yelp
My first experience with Fox in the Snow Cafe. My daughter's 2nd time. The line can get long/ out the door... but the line moves fast. Great customer service: as we approached register to order, someone was there asking if we had any questions. The pastries are out of this world beautiful. Pastry kitchen is behind glass for all to see the workings. Very polite staff. The egg sandwich with bacon was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. This location also has outside seating as well as inside. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This was my first trip to Columbus visiting family. My cousin took me here. First of all, I love the name of the place. Second, It was clean inside and the baked goods looked delicious; not to mention, they were HUGE! There's an area where you can see the staff making the baked goods through the glass. We sat at the bar-like table where you can sit and watch them bake. The staff was nice. Chai latte: This was SO good. It wasn't too spicey. The taste and smell reminded me of being at the spa. I had it w/oat milk. It was good & I would order this again. Egg sandwich w/bacon: this was probably the best egg sandwich I have ever eaten. The bread was PERFECT. Lightly crisp. Not hard and not too soft. The consistency of the bread was amazing. The egg was cooked perfect. The bacon wasn't too greasy and was crisp just right. The sauce they used was tasty; there was a hint of mustard in it. This is a MUST if you come for bfast or brunch! I would definitely come back!!

Yelp
I was visiting family from out of town and they recommended we come here and I was not disappointed! Immediately when you walk in you see everyone hard at work making fresh pasties and other delights and get to see them all as you make your way to the counter to order and pay. The whole place was lively with people who seemed excited to be there so that just makes any experience better. I opted for a hot chocolate and it was hot and creamy and came with a homemade marshmallow which was delicious. I also opted for the morning bun. It was a flaky pastry coated with sugar and filled with a delectable chocolate mousse. It was a tad sweeter than I was expecting but it was simply delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
One of our "must stop" locations when we are in town. We usually grab it to go as we head out of town, but got to sit this morning and hang out a little. The line moves pretty quickly, so don't be scared if it goes out the door. We got a couple of different baked goods and the breakfast sandwich, along with coffees. Everything tasted great, and was out to our table quickly. Getting some glasses and one of the bottles of water is also a nice way to enjoy your visit! The staff always seem to be friendly and will answer any questions that you have about the different items. I like that there's people by the baked goods to help clarify what each thing is, and keep the line moving. For being busy, there were still tables available as people came through. Parking is crazy, but available if you are patient and look carefully! Well worth a visit if you are in town. Don't skip the sandwich!

Yelp
I concur: Fox in the Snow is the best! We had carry-out pastries and they were all fantastic: coffee cake, moist yet crumbly and a very healthy-sized slice; blueberry danish flaky and sweet; pecan sticky bun fresh and sticky; ham and cheese croisant, tender and savory. So many other deliciousness to choose from and this wasn't even considering the lunch/savory items! Will definitely be back for more! Servers were super helpful and upbeat. There was a line at 8 am on Thursday morning but it went pretty quick. There is a parking lot that could cause anxiety on a busy day - only one lane in and out, without an alternative exit. If it's busy don't sweat the parking lot, just do street parking. You'll thank yourself!

Yelp
We ventured on in to this lovely spot with some good friends, while visiting from the PNW. While this is technically a chain in the area, it rivaled any of our favorites back home! We can at 9 am on a Sunday and the place was PACKED! Like wait 20 minutes for a seat packed, but luckily our friends had arrived early and grabbed us spots. The options here range from sweet to savory to beautiful and all things in between! The spread up front reminded us of bakeries in Paris (including a lovely baguette to go!). The egg sandwich had been spoken to us in song and legend, and largely lived up to the lore! The eggs were super fluffy, the bread delectable and the fixins divine - it was like it had been conceived by a song within a dream. It's a must, they know this and have a lot ready to go! The vibe is super hipster, but Midwest hipster - a much less pretentious version with fewer ironic wool hats and a lot of genuine smiles! We loved this place and you will too when you visit!

Yelp
They have great pastries and a cute, casual atmosphere! I definitely recommend going!

Yelp
Food was yummy. Service was great. Ambiance was vibey. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Yelp
For someone that loves foxes I am of course going to have a slightly biased take on the vibe and the overall aesthetic of Fox in the Snow Cafe. It's cozy, and they have various Fox paraphernalia and swag so I'm immediately going to be a fan. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. I ordered the famous egg breakfast sandwich which I probably should have read the description closer. It was good but I had to take the meat off and I personally don't like sauce on my sandwiches and ended up wiping it off. I think I would have liked it a lot more had an asked for it without meat and the sauce from the get go. But my favorite thing was the brownie! So amazing, I may have to go back in a few days just to get another it was so good. Definitely recommend and I look forward to trying more items on the menu.

Yelp
This place is an absolute institution. They have amazing and inventive pastries, great drinks, and a good environment to meet up with a friend. Note that they don't have WiFi, but u have seen people working there.
google avatar

Lisa Z.

Yelp
Serves sandwiches on delicious baguette, doesn't offer condiments such as a simple mayo. Offers mustard, but I'm allergic... strange. The sandwich was delicious but very dry!!! Needs condiments. It's like serving coffee without cream.
google avatar

Carla F.

Yelp
I've heard great things about this place so I had to come check it out. Their parking lot is fairly small so you need to be lucky to find a spot but there is street parking available nearby. They seemed to be busy for a Thursday morning (came around 10:30). I ordered a vanilla latte and a cinnamon roll and my sister had their iced coffee and a pasty. The ice coffee was as horrible - probably one of the worst ones I've ever had so I do not recommend it. Their vanilla latte was delicious though and it had pretty art. The cinnamon roll wasn't overly sweet but it was dry and lacked a stronger cinnamon flavor. It's definitely not a place to stop by if you're looking for a "quick" bite to grab and go. I did have to wait a little over 15 minutes just for my latte!
google avatar

Trevor C.

Yelp
Wonderful experience, we have been wanting to go for quite some time and it was great! The cappuccinos were great and the Soufflé egg sandwiches were even better. The pastry we got was good as well! Staff was very warm and welcoming and the price was on point!! I would have given five stars but no WiFi and kinda plain inside. We did love how clean it was and the water being on the table already.
google avatar

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE Fox in the Snow. Hands down my favorite cafe in Columbus (and gives other places a run for their money too). Food (breakfast sandwiches, pastries, beverages) is excellent and staff is kind and attentive. The ambiance is comforting, welcoming, and this place is always packed on a weekend! There's a high probability you will see a line out the door. But be patient, it's worth it!
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
One of Columbus ohios "hidden" gems. I use the word hidden jokingly because this place has a massive crowd of people at all times and almost always has a line to the door. Understandably so, because the pastries here are out of this WORLD. I didn't care for the coffee, but the overly helpful and friendly service made me want to try it all. I'd definitely recommend coming here to work, on a date, or for the baked goods alone. YUM
google avatar

Armin M.

Yelp
My best friend from Cincinnati visited me and I had to take her here. I love this place. The pastries are amazing!! The coffee is really good too. I always get the breakfast sandwhich which tastes really good. The only downside is that there is not much space to sit and there is always such a huge line out the door. But to be honest it's worth waiting for!
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
I love Fox in the Snow and try to make a stop here whenever I am in town. The fresh pastries are delicious, as are the sandwiches my favorite thing to order is the hot chocolate because it comes with a HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOW! My last visit, the staff was so friendly to chat with while making my decision and waiting for my drink. Even my fiance who doesn't love breakfast enjoyed Fox in the snow! I know that these days everyone searches for WiFi, but I personally love that Fox in the Snow doesn't have WiFi and encourages their guests to unplug and spend time enjoying their food and each others company. Overall a great Columbus bakery/cafe with delicious drinks and food

Yelp
I wanted to surprise my colleagues with the famous fox in the snow cinnamon rolls. We had been talking about them for a few months. So I got up early and ordered six of them for my colleagues. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast. When you walked in the restaurant definitely had a cozy fill to it . I ordered my self the egg and bacon sandwich which is always phenomenal. I always looking forward to going back to fox in the snow. One of my favorite places to eat at in town.
google avatar

Nancy L.

Yelp
I love the huge assortment of pastries! The egg sandwich is amazing! I ordered the seasonal peppermint mocha and it was tasty. Order at the counter and they will bring the egg sandwich out to you. Always crowded. Bus your own dishes to the back counter. Parking is on the street or in a small parking lot. As far as the ambiance of the restaurant, lots of people working on laptops or their cellphones. No tv's or loud music. Easy to talk to your dining partner and share a cinnamon roll or brownie. Since coming to Fox in the Snow and having their cinnamon roll nothing else compares to the quality of cinnamon and cream cheese icing. Definitely recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back again!
google avatar

Yelp
This cafe is a must visit in Columbus. It's almost always busy every time we visit so it might be hard to dine in but the egg sandwich is a must. They have a great range of different pastries and this time around we shared the cinnamon roll and the egg sandwich without bacon. We were seated behind the open kitchen and I always love seeing them prepare the food. A lot of the tables are large and communal and you bus your own tables. The egg sandwich is the star of the show. The aioli and the bread pair so well with the creaminess of the egg. The ambiance is relaxed but bustling. I've been during the week and it's not as busy and there's definitely more room to work and enjoy the coffee.

Yelp
I can't believe I finally got around to checking out Fox in The Snow, and didn't even realize exactly how close I am to it! I'm in trouble, that's for sure. The inside is small and simple, but there's usually a line. Be prepared, but it's worth it! The pastries are gorgeous and they also have some sammies and drinks. I was too late at around 10am to snag a tomato basil pastry which I can't wait to check out, but I went with a strawberry one, a blueberry one, and a sandwich, then I snacked on all 3 for 2 days. The sandwich was a little plain-- it had pesto, but I added balsamic glaze when I got home. It was still tasty. The pastries were absolutely mindblowing! Creamy, flakey, the fruit was fresh... This is definitely a "bring to the brunch party and impress people" or "bring something to your mom for Mother's day" type of spot. It is definitely heading straight to the top of the list for me for places to take out-of-towners. Actually now that I think about it, I'm going to see if a girlfriend wants to go there with me this weekend. This place is definitely deserving of all the hype it gets.
google avatar

Brittan G.

Yelp
The line was quite long but it went alway faster than anticipated! While all the coffees were delicious the stand out was the pastries-especially the cinnamon roll!
google avatar

E P.

Yelp
The space is pretty and the line moved quickly on a Saturday morning. The food was fine. The blueberry galette was exceptional but the sticky bun was dry, needed deeper cinnamon flavor and had a watery sauce. My biggest disappointment was their two vegan taxes: a whopping $1 for nondairy milk in espresso drinks (I had to request oat milk, which was free, for drip coffee) and even worse, their egg sandwich is made with bacon, instead of being vegetarian by default and charging more for meat. I didn't feel like haggling for $2 off my sandwich -- I shouldn't have to -- so I skipped it.

Chloe L.

Yelp
This coffee shop/bakery/cafe is the nicest café I've been to in a while. It's in a great part of town, and the service/ambiance was friendly, inviting, & warm.... I highly recommend! If you are looking for a new coffee shop to visit, please give this place a try. The pastries look good & taste good.
google avatar

Holly D.

Yelp
Quality is found here. From the moment you step in, to the moment you leave. The quality of food and pastry is obvious. Even moreso, the customer service is bar none. All the guys working behind the bar are engaging, thoughtful, and intentional. Ambiance is 100. Loved being able to see the gal in the pastry kitchen throwing dough and kicking butt making the pastries Well done. My three hours spent in here was the best part of my day!
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
WOW!!! Seriously such good coffee and pastries it makes me want to reevaluate every place I've been before and remove some of their stars. This place is FABULOUS! Super polite staff. Very quick service. And perfectly made drinks - so smooth, full flavored and well balanced. And the pastries are out of this world and made on site too. Sit on the patio, sit inside, join others at the community table...just go and go often. I would move to Columbus for this place.
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
One of the five best bakeries I've ever been to. Get the breakfast sandwich. The pastries are great too.
google avatar

Leslie R.

Yelp
I went to the Italian Village location nearly every day while visiting Columbus. It's busy and there's always a line but the wait is worth it. I always ordered a cappuccino and the quality was great each time. The souffléd egg sandwich is delicious. The bread is perfectly baked and whatever sauce is in the sandwich is so tasty. Their pasties are delicious as well. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the selections. I highly recommend their giant salted chocolate chip cookie, too! Tip: if the parking lot is full, park across the street in front of the fitness center/business building.
google avatar

Katie T.

Yelp
Fresh baked pastries and sandwiches. Service was quick and hospitable. Very comfy and cool atmosphere! We loved this place and it now will be our go to for a sweet fix and amazing coffees.
google avatar

Yelp
This was so close to my Airbnb. Came recommended by my host. Amazing service! Grabbed a quick coffee and some banana bread. 12/10 recommend
google avatar

Les R.

Yelp
This place is really cool and really busy! The coffee and food were delicious and can't wait to go back and try some more goodies. Parking was limited to mainly the lot, from what I could see but I did find a spot. There is also some limited street parking but I would guess you just have to get lucky to find one of those spots open. A client suggested meeting at Fox in the Snow so I was happy to meet up for a meeting. There were three of us in total and I arrived early and grabbed a table. Inside was packed with people and the environment was very inviting. There was quite the line for 11:30 am on a Monday and the line moved rather slowly. It was worth the wait. I had a pour-over coffee and a delicious strawberry Diamond pastry.

Sarah S.

Yelp
WOW!! Had the egg and bacon sandwich for breakfast; the BEST warm ciabatta I have ever had. The egg was easily a half inch thick. The scone was a true scone, not too sweet but a ton of blueberries. YUMMMMMMM! The employees were very friendly and engaging. Place was very clean. You can tell everyone there knew their purpose
google avatar

Kelsie K.

Yelp
Always a great place to stop in for a snack (or a meal) and a drink! I love their lemonade and chocolate chip cookies. The best seating is on the patio if you can snag a table, but there isn't a bad spot in the house!
google avatar

Justine F.

Yelp
Great coffee and pastries. Flavorful coffee and delicious light pastries. The service was very friendly.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Amazing food! The breakfast sandwich has the best ciabatta I've ever had. The bread was crispy and chewy and there was a nice aioli with the thick bacon. We also tried the chocolate mousse croissant. It was stuffed with a delicious not to sweet mousse. The croissant itself was super buttery. The dirty chai was excellent as well. Nicely spiced.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Cool hipstery location. Fantastic food made on site. Great coffee and friendly service. Must eat while in Columbus.
google avatar

Jessie T.

Yelp
Great breakfast/brunch spot! There was a bit of a line but it moved very fast and we were able to find seating after ordering. Sitting near the kitchen and watching the prpepartions was fun. Definitely would go back and recommend to anyone going through Columbus!
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
This is a cute little cafe in the Italian village not too far away from the Short North area of Columbus. This was more of a brunch for me so I got both the Souffled egg breakfast sandwich and the strawberry diamond cream pastry, along with New Orleans iced coffee. All of them hit the spot. The egg sandwich is prepared almost over easy, and it is really soft, surrounded by some aioli and arugula and bacon, as well as nicely toasted and crunchy bread. It is one of the better breakfast sandwiches I have tried and it is not too heavy. Pairing with the iced coffee and it makes a satisfying and filling meal. The strawberry diamond cream pastry is also very good, a bit on the sweet side and because I was stuffed from the egg sandwich already, I gave half of it to my friend and he also enjoyed it. It is slightly buttery and the cream is sweet but not too heavy. Overall, pricing is fairly standard - about $20 for 2 items and a coffee and it was more than enough food for 1-2 meals.

Karen L.

Yelp
Food is outstanding, especially the pastries. Sandwiches are delicious! Staff are super nice.
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
The breakfast sandwich is amazing. The ambiance is friendly. The service is surprisingly quick, given the turnover.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Cappuccino was nice, smooth and strong, not bitter. I didn't get a chance to try any of the pastries but they looked amazing!! There was a long line on a Friday morning and the seating was packed.
google avatar

Madeline M.

Yelp
Love everything they have there. It's truly the world's best egg sandwich. The staff is all so kind and I wish it wasn't such a cold and dreary day so we could've sat outside!
google avatar

Brock R.

Yelp
Americano with half and half very good and their breakfast sandwich is a must (ciabatta bread the best I've ever had). Very friendly and helpful manager? From Arlington (shout out to you sir - nicely done).
google avatar

Jemila C.

Yelp
It's so popular for a reason. Really cute place that is simple but done well and elegantly. Most importantly though, everything is delicious and beautiful. I got the cinnamon bun and egg sandwich with a plain iced coffee. I also got a strawberry cheese pastry for a friend to go. All great (the cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing is actually heavenly) & you can watch them being made if you sit at the bar. You can basically count on it being crowded any time you go. I went on a Wednesday at 10:30a and still had to wait for a parking spot to become available.
google avatar

Abby L.

Yelp
The best baked good around. Each thing is well done and full of flavor. The coffee and espresso is high quality and has a great flavor. Their breakfast sandwiches are great and they bakes food ware even better.
