Fox Valley Mall

Noriteo (LOE) Store in Fox Valley Mall is exactly what we needed! It’s not just a place to grab a bite; it’s a whole experience. The Korean street food (Ramen, Snack, Ice Big Cup..more.) is authentic and delicious, and the atmosphere is just so vibrant. It really feels like an immersive space where you can eat, play, and just hang out. Highly recommend for anyone who loves K-culture!

Fox Valley Mall in Aurora is a great place for shopping, dining, and spending time with family. It has a good mix of popular brand stores, local shops, and fun spots like arcades and entertainment areas for kids and teens. The mall is spacious, generally clean, and easy to walk around. The food court and new eateries offer plenty of choices for a quick meal or dessert.

Me and my friends are exploring places and we google maps lead us to the Fox Valley Mall. The mall is pretty huge in my opinion. I really love the Round 1 arcade compared to the one at North Riverside Mall. I was shocked that Round 1 arcade has two floors and has airsoft?! That's cool. Overall, it was a cool experience, sucks that I live extremely far. Out of the four malls ive been to (HIP, Woodfield, Fox Valley, and North Riverside) I'd say that Woodfield and Fox Valley are on par.

This shopping center features 3 floors with stores ranging from candy and snacks to name brand clothing and perfume! The food court is massive, there is a 2 level Carousel, a play area, and a train! Plus, there are plenty of soft chair for when your feet get tired.

The BEST snack shop at Fox Valley Mall! Exotic Snack Guys is hands down the best snack shop I’ve ever been to. They have an incredible selection of rare and international snacks you can’t find anywhere else—drinks, chips, candies, and exclusive flavors from around the world. Everything is always fresh, and the variety is unreal. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to help you discover new snacks. The store is clean, well-organized, and just fun to walk through. Every visit feels like an experience, not just a quick stop. If you’re at Fox Valley Mall, this place is a must-visit. Once you go, you’ll keep coming back. Highly recommend! 🍬🔥

Two story mall with many shopping options and plenty of parking. The mall is clean and well maintained. Good for in and out shopping or exercising/walking. Malls aren’t as filled as they once used to be. Alot of stores have come and gone but there are a few that remain in business. Recently they’ve had to crack down on young teens visiting the mall. On certain days guests younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older for (4 p.m. until closing) to prevent disturbances following large fights and brawls at the mall and other locations. An adult can supervise up to four youths, and accompanying adults and anyone aged 18-25 must be prepared to show photo identification, such as a driver's license or state-issued ID. Very big and nice mall. Interior is very good. Almost all big brand and chain shops are available under one roof. Good dining area. Ample parking and wheelchair accessible at every place. Nice shopping experience. We enjoyed visit here

This mall is okay. Definitely on the smaller side compared to other malls in Illinois. Aside from the arcade and the cool looking carousel, there isn't much to do or shop for here. The bottom floor is the food court and is decent. There's a nice family bathroom which is great... when it's clean. The other two floors of the mall have some stores, but there isn't really much here when you do a full walk through. The arcade is a big chunk of the mall, which is always a big hit with our little guy. Overall, it's a decent mall but not one that I'd go to for any actual shopping.

IT'S A MALL, MALL WORLD Fox Valley in Aurora remains a solid place to shop, eat, and hang out. Malls might be a dying breed these days (honestly, who can afford to BUY sh*t anymore?) but I'm happy to see the improvements they've made to this place. Recent renovations in the last 3-5 years have really made this mall pop, notably the additions of Round 1 (a massive two-story arcade), a family restroom area on the lower level (complete with private nursing spots), and a revamped main atrium. For shopping needs, JC Penny & Macy's are the anchor stores, supplemented by Forever 21, H&M, a big Victoria Secret where an ex-girlfriend of mine used to work at, Hollister, Aeropostale, an FYE electronics store, the obligatory Spencer's, Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, etc. For dining, the large food court on the lower level has 12 places to pick from, including stalwarts like Sbarro, Panda Express, Subway, Great Steak Co, Mochi Donut, 4x4 Extreme Burgers, Burrito Los Azaderos, #Fries, Cajun Café Grill, Moo's Rolled Ice Cream, and several others. Check out the candy store near the escalators for some unusual sweets. Elsewhere in the mall, there's 2 Auntie Anne's locations, plus a Cinnabon (woo!) and a place selling banana pudding in jars. They're getting a Molly's Cupcakes in the near future, too. A new addition near the food court is a cotton candy machine straight outta Harajuku that makes complex flower designs before your very eyes ($7 for a regular, $10 for a deluxe). Tapville Social is a self-serve kiosk where you can tap your own beer/wine/seltzer and take it with you as you saunter around the mall. Just don't get too drunk and leave your pint glass in the changing room at Macy's (I have to imagine staff are retrieving glassware from every nook & cranny all year-long). The focal point of the mall is undoubtedly the large double-decker carousel, located on the lower level. It's $7 per ride and there's a variety of horses, mermaids, dragons and other animalia to sit on, plus seashells that gently rock back-and-forth. They have teacups, but their "spinning" function has sadly been disabled, likely due to overzealous teens. On the first floor, the wide open faux-grassy area has wonderful natural light plus a fake tree with walkable canopy. This gathering space is host to small events, and when we visited on a weekend in mid-August there was a woman playing (using?) singing bowls which made for some relaxing vibes. * TL;DR * A decade ago, Fox Valley would probably earn 3* from me, but thanks to some tasteful 21st century remodeling I'm happy to give them a higher rating. I'd consider Aurora's Fox Valley Mall and Lombard's Yorktown Mall as equals, maybe a half-step down from Woodfield (Schaumburg) in terms of overall impression. The ritzy Oak Brook Mall is in a league of its own, plus it's all outdoors, so a comparison shouldn't be made there. Nevertheless, I like Fox Valley Mall and what it has to offer. And hey, how 'bout that carousel, huh? Always brings a smile to my face.

The only stores I shop here are Victoria's Secret for me and H&M if my daughter is with me. Maaaybe Macy's for picking up perfume or makeup. Out of an entire mall of stores, that's it. Most of the stores have atrocious clothing. I haven't eaten food in the food court in a decade. The ceiling is really low and it feels like I'm walking down into a cave. They've remodeled almost the entire mall. Except for the food court. -It needs a complete overhaul. They have 2 Auntie Anne's, which is kinda funny considering the mall isn't that big. No complaints though. I'm not above eating a pretzel. I walk 5 miles every day and when the weather is bad, I come here. During the winter, I'm here at some point almost every day. There's a lot of moms with strollers. A lot of toddlers. The remodeling they did was a good improvement. There are wide open spaces that would be perfect for a small person to run and play. I sometimes wonder how they're managing to stay open. Macy's is the only true anchor store in this mall. Do people still shop at JC Penney? I mean for anything besides maybe window treatments and bedding? Maybe the new luxury apartment they're building will help save this place. Although, honestly, who wants to live at the mall? Besides a teenager

The mall is not bad, they have a Round One and a variety of different food and snacks. However, I would like to see more upscale, designer clothing like Oakbrook, Woodfield, and Chicago outlet. Something to draw the 18+ and up crowd. Right now, they have a lot of clothing stores that cater to tweens and teens. Lots of parking.

Plenty of parking! Lots of variety of stores (including a comedy place and Round 1). I particularly love their pet store called Furry Babies because they have so many cute dogs in there to see. It's unique cause I don't find many stores like that. It does smell in there but that is the cost of getting to see live puppies! Round 1 has fun photo booths (you do have to purchase a ticket with them to use it though). I would def come back to this mall with the selection of stores and entertainment!

Mall seems a little outdated. With the addition of the new apartments, the parking is limited. Some staple stores, but a lot of random stuff. I sometimes stop in while I'm in the area/have a coupon for one of the stores.

My family and I came through a JCPENNEYS entrance as it was closer to the store we needed to go to. The store was quite empty, and we overheard a store associate telling another customer, all other stores were closed due to threats in the build, and that they would soon reopen. The only stores that were open were the stores with an exit to the outside. What a terrible way to handle such a serious situation, not a single officer in sight, and we were just let into a building that wasn't deemed safe to enter. Transparency is a must in situations like this. I will not be back for a while, if at all! Thanks for the experience, Fox Valley Mall.

I'm not gonna lie - I'm one of those people with a baby and a stroller doing the mall walk ;0 I come here about 1-2 times a week, I thought my mall days were over, but apparently I'm back. I love this location, love the vibe and love the size. There are multiple parking lots, it doesn't ever seem to get too crowded and there are wonderful stores, arcades, food, AND a ton of kid stuff to choose from. I'm going to speak mainly on the kid stuff - they have multiple things for multiple ages. Near the JC Penney entrance, there is a free, enclosed climbing area for younger kids with a few climbing logs and small slides (probably for ages 1-5). Next to it, there's a jumping/trampoline thing for older kids - I haven't done this but you do have to pay. If you go further into the mall, there's a huge, fake tree that doubles as a stair case and then some fake grass where you can sit at tables and kids run around. This is super random but once a month they've been doing free concerts for kids with 'Miss Jamie,' also at this tree. 10 years ago I nevver would have been excited writing that LOL. I come here to walk around, get some coffee and have my daughter do some of this stuff. The staff are friendly, the mall is free, ample parking and most of the general public are kind. So if you see me walking laps or chasing a toddler, say hi!

I want to preface that Stratford was my preferred mall all the time I don't like overcrowded malls that are almost impossible to park at sadly Stratford is due to close in two weeks and has no stores left. Unfortunately, I had to go here today and boy do I regret it, first of all it was pouring rain out when I got here you had lines of cars with nowhere to park and WAITING because they're building apartment buildings all around the place so over 50% of the parking is gone that used to be there and it was already hard to park there before that so imagine what it's like now?!? I literally went to get the items at the store I had to go to and I will never come back here. This is why I preferred Stratford over any other mall.

Overall a fan of this mall for have a very wide variety of shops between upscale-ish, practical, trendy, and fun experiences. Fortunately, this mall is large enough to have enough options to satisfy a group of visitors. With that said, this is also a somewhat confusing mall with more modern spots seamlessly blending into walls, floors, tiles, that seem a bit outdated. So, while there's beautiful common areas -- the experience can be somewhat ruined by walking into areas that look like they haven't seem an update in decades. The food court has one of the most eclectic selections of different cuisines I've seen from a fries specialist to rolled ice cream. While this mall doesn't have interesting upscale options that you'd find in Oakbrook or Woodfield, it still has some specialty options sprinkled throughout the mall - and a Gloria Jean's coffee. While the anchor stores aren't really a draw for me now, I do like the selection of fun experiences available like Round 1 and Mish Mash. I would love to see more interesting entertainment options here as over time, I'd expect that and special events (like holiday decorations) to be a bigger draw for a visit than any particular store. Overall, interesting mall that helps to satisfy a wide variety of interests.

Fox valley mall has probably more interactive, more leisure, and more ways of entertaining shoppers than any other shopping mall I've seen in a long time. This is an especially great location to bring teenagers and young children as there are many ways of entertaining them from arcades, breakout rooms, and other entertaining mall features. This is the way shopping malls used to be, a destination, not just a place to spend money. Most shopping malls have done away with gardens, fountains, relaxing seating area. Most of them just want you to spend money and when your feet get tired, leave. That makes this place extremely enjoyable for the older individuals and people with disabilities who can enjoy the artistry and scenery that changes from one point to the mall to another. To put it quite simply, this is our "go to" shopping place.

Yikes. Considering the location I expected better. The mall was packed but most of the stores weren't known chains, and they were mostly selling tacky clothing or knockoff nerdy stuff. Strange food options, like a shop that only sells pudding?? I didn't see people buying much, just wandering around. Nearly everyone had small kids running around and screaming. The Food Court felt like a free-for-all. Saw a bunch of teens vaping. I only saw TWO sets of bathrooms in the entire place, which feels crazy.

This mall is trying gamely to stay relevant with new art (see the new mural outside and low poly fox sculptures by the fountains inside), attempting to keep those storefronts filled (hard when the department stores go out of business), and keeping the place in decent shape. There's a security presence, and the maintenance folks were tidying the entire time we were eating in the food court. Lots of services here like nails, threading, shoe repair, etc. Just wish there was more shopping.

Mall is clean and not over crowded, best time to go is during the week to avoid the crowd but overall a good mall to walk around

I actually did not like Fox valley am more oak Brook lady. I was surprised that they remodeled and Open more stores. Stratford square mall 80% of the stores are Closed down. I am glad they even fixing the parking lot. The economy needs more indoor malls for all group ages to come And walk, eat mingle shop or just hang out. I loved the merry go round and the puppy store. I had tons of fun and Also the arcade place So much fun for All The family

The mall is very outdated. When I go I only every stop at Mia's Wish, Dry Goods and Windsor.

The mall is beautiful... I prefer wood field but this is the best in distance range. I always go here if I wanna just shop and walk, I love the food court but I wish there were some more shops that were more mainstream. It'd be cool to have designer stores but because if the security and area there'd be a lot of robberies because once when I came in security was chasing these girls from the arcade who had apparently stolen something. Okay ambiance but sometimes I wonky really enjoy the mall during the holidays... except when it's hectic.

This mall has all my favorite teenage girl stores: Spencer's, Torrid & Hot Topic, book store, Forever 21, Charming Charlie's, Claire's, Hello Kitty, etc. There is always some nonsense cr@p to buy. Also, it is inside and has free wi-fi. And it has Sbarro . I will give Fox Valley a shout-out for hosting lots of fun Princess Parties and other photo opps in the main hall. I subtracted 1-star because the mall does seem to be dying and the food court is worse than a grade school cafeteria. It's sad.

First time coming back to this mall during the post apocalyptic Covid-19 pandemic. As impressed as I was the last time I was here. This mall still never fails to impress. This mall is still alive and well. It's also doing some very innovative things I've never seen a mall do such as installing a comedy club. Security here is top notch! I saw them first hand take down a guy that tried shoplifting at a store and apprehend them. Great work Security! The best part about this mall is the variety of stores, the layout, the lighting as well and the malls implementation of newer things to draw in customers in an era where malls are dying. This mall is phenomenal and I definitely want to come back here again!

The renewed center court in Fox Valley mall looks stunning! Hope this brings a new energy and vibe to this mall as its a convenient location and place to hang during winter, with shelters and variety of choices in food and fashion, although they are somewhat limited.

I have been shopping at FV mall for as long as I have lived in the area-- nearly 20 years. While it has gone through changes, I still enjoy shopping there. The current management has its customers in mind. I am looking forward to seeing what the mall is going to do with the old Sears and Carsons spaces. I am sure it will be exciting. Also, I love how the mall supports local businesses by inviting them to offer special entertainment and services for mall customers. I am a local author and had an event there. I appreciate all that FV mall management did to make the event a success.

I've been going to this mall pretty much all my life, but it's changed a lot over the years. Teenage Jacqueline probably would have given this place 5 stars for being my favorite hangout and having all the coolest stores, but 30-year old mom Jacqueline thinks Fox Valley is just 3-star worthy these days. I will say that it is pretty awesome having an indoor mall less than 5 minutes from my house. If at all possible I try to visit during the week if I have some shopping to do, otherwise the weekends at Fox Valley mall are a zoo. SO many people come here to just "hang out" on Friday nights and Saturdays -- and I'm not talking just teenagers. Like full blown families with all of their children just running around. It's a mad house if you're trying to leisurely shop or run an errand. My favorite stores here these days are Macy's, Francesca's, and Dry Goods. I feel like I'm in that weird in-between age where I'm no longer shopping at Forever 21, but also don't want to shop at old lady stores either. Makes things difficult. Most recently, I was here shopping for my 7 month old son and was surprised to find that there really aren't many options for children's clothing! The Children's Place was really the best option, but the store is pretty hard to shop. It's small and all the racks are close together which made bringing a stroller in difficult. I did find some pajamas for him on sale and a super cute outfit for him for our family pictures though which was great. I also realized they recently updated the H&M and it looks really nice! Although they no longer seem to offer children's clothes either which is a bummer. The food court at Fox Valley has some pretty good options, but truthfully I usually stick to Panera. Cinnabon and Aunt Annie's gets me every time too. They now have a Bowlero inside the mall which is pretty weird, but if you're looking for bowling and entertainment, have at it! I'm more of an Amazon shopping kind of gal these days or I find myself at the downtown Naperville shops, but this will continue to be a convenient mall option for us especially when the weather is bad.

I am optimistic for this mall. I think they are playing the long game for keeping this place relevant in a time when physical retail is done. There are tons of store front spaces being cleverly repurposed as kids play areas and wifi lounges. The kinds of spaces I want to be during northern Illinois fall, winter's, and spring.

2nd saddest mall I have ever been to. Walking around is ok, many different stores to browse. But it needs to be a bit nicer. Floors are old, discolored and warped. Eating area looks like a dungeon. My husband can touch the ceiling it's so low in the eating areas. I've seen nice malls so maybe my expectations were high but overall, meh. Updates are being made outside the mall for apparent luxury apartments directly outside the mall but why luxury when you're mall is less than mediocre. Just sayin'!

Nice mall, horribly rude security. Threatened our family of 7 saying we must split up in groups of four or we would be kicked out. Keep in mind there was only one of us with a cell phone and everyone else were children. They forced us to split up and had no regard to our safety or security. Horribly rude and insensitive security guard. Should have asked for his name to report him. If we see him again we will do so.

Awesome mall, very nice people especially the Asian man at nori Japan he was very nice I highly recommend his food it was so delicious

Walked in and noticed that it's pretty clean, until you get to the bathrooms. They wreaked of smoke, had toilet paper all over the toilet seats and were dirty. The handicap stall wouldn't even lock, which I needed to use because of my back.

The place is really nice and looks amazing. Although I am not a big fan of their current restaurants there.

Same mall - new/old name? Westfield apparently sold this mall and now there are signs everywhere saying it is Fox Valley Mall. I've always called it Fox Valley Mall so I guess it doesn't really matter much to me. Otherwise the shops are the same, kid play area is the same... just new signage. I checked out the website and looks like they have an events calendar (currently empty) so I look forward to what new things they will do!

Fox Valley Mall is a staple in our local community. In Chicagoland there are no shortage of retail options but this mall is always a reliable source for the latest in fashion! Today my sorority sisters and I were happy to have a dry place for our annual "Walk To Remember" on the Longest Day (#EndALZ) of the year. We usually walk on a local trail but due to rain we were forced to seek a last-minute venue to accommodate our activity. Of course when you are at the mall you can't help a little window shopping along with your fitness & fun! We knocked out our steps, met a few business owners and grabbed a few gifts for our upcoming conference. The mall is well maintained and offers clean restrooms for patrons. I was also impressed with the safety patrol that was visible throughout our visit. If you are in the area make Fox Valley a part of your itinerary!

Mall walkers headquarters... About all it is good for Not a lot of good shopping, but popular with mall walkers. All the kiddie rides are in operational, they take your money and don't work. Mall security is good and can help find phone numbers of vending companies to call for machine service and initiate refund. I took my daughter there to ride the Merry go round for $3 a ride, but the attendant was not there at the advertised 10 am opening. I will write a review for the company that owns/operates the ride called "Indoor Entertainment" ( based out of Laguna Beach) , as I called them to see what time someone may be there and ask for a refund since nobody was there to operate. Got an answering machine and no call back. Called Mall Management who called security to see what was going on. Finally at 10:20 got my kid on the ride. Mall is really kind of a shopping Ghost town.

Really loved the mall I love going to hot topic and the gaming place and a lot of cute stores with everything I love.

It was my first time going to this mall and I was very impressed. From the outside, it didn't look much and looked outdated, but stepping foot inside, it was huge! I always went to Woodfield Mall since it's closer to me but I would compare these two together. They had lots of similar stores that Woodfield has. They had lots of shopping selections and a huge bowling/arcade place, pretty fun! I liked the store selection, lots of stores for me at least and lots of choices for food/drinks! I really didn't expect a lot of people and a lot of stores, I could definitely see myself coming back here if I'm around.

One of the best and biggest malls we've ever been too. A pleasing and exciting atmosphere with plenty of stores and places to take pictures in.

This is a really good mall. Love it. Usually clean and not overwhelming. Food court is not healthy and security guards think they are cops.

When Westfield owned it, it was somewhat magical. Mostly speaking about the spider web. Now its like flea market more than a mall. I get the whole recycling thing but the bottle sculptures around the mall looks horrendous. There's many closed stores. When they open some they close not even months later. The paintings outside too they're cool but a mall doesn't need that. Very sad. Had so much potential. Other than that it's a wonderful place to shop in. Has everything you need. Hoping for more food places and stores.

Its big. Its in a good location. Those are the only two redeeming qualities of this place Im afraid. The mall is frequented by hoodlums from Aurora, the parking lots are crumbling, the anchor stores are outdated, and there are too many unattended kids in the food court (which is disgusting). I only went to this mall if I needed something desperately bad.

This is the sickest of all malls I have seems in Americas. It smells really bad. We don't go there unless we have to do some returns. Good court is depressingly sad. Lightening is so sad and makes this place look more sad.

Great mall. Good size with a variety of stores. Not too expensive. I could go without the pesky kiosk vendors. More bathrooms would be nice. The parking lot can be confusing for first timers, and 2nd timers, 3rd, it takes awhile to get acquainted is what I'm saying. There's multiple doors that look the same. When you come in just ask two questions: what floor am I on and what big department store am I close to. Kids are fine, bunch of grumps complaining about kids need to lighten up. Also, why complain about teenagers at the mall. That is what they do. Might as well complain about the chickens on a farm. Been going for over 20 years, it's only gotten better since then. Have never felt unsafe.

As we all know, malls are dying across America and I am starting to notice the same about Fox Valley Mall: first of all, there are two dead anchors: formerly Sears and formerly Carson. I come to the mall once a month, and I feel like the stores are changing and rotating all the time. Just when you get used to a place, it's has come and gone. Also, in am a middle age person so coming to the mall is a huge hassle because I have to drive, dodge people, and wait in long lines just to pay for my items. Secondly, I feel like the owners of the mall has not kept up with the look of the mall. There are certain places where you can see dirt and outdated designs. If I was a business person, I would not put my business in the mall because most people who come to the mall are there to hangout and not buy anything. When your last two anchors are JCPenney and Macy's, (both dying businesses) your mall is in trouble. I can see this mall dying in 5-10 years. Finally, your kid is way too old to be playing in the play area. If they are over 5, take them somewhere else!!

I went here on 6/6/20 and it was likely the last time I will go again. I had a plan to stop at 3 specific stores for some things... then leave. Within 5 minutes of walking in I saw 6 individuals not wearing masks at all and walking past security. If their policy was no masks then thats fine, but they advertised online and at every entrance that masks were required which was why I went. I'd also say 70% of stores are still closed including H&M, Bath and Body Works, Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale... etc. The mall honestly just felt sad. Even before COVID it served more as a social setting for people to congregate and not shop, that hasn't changed. I was able to get the items I needed online after all the stores I needed were still closed. Maybe its due to the current times or my feelings about how malls are becoming dated, but I don't think I will need to return to this mall again.

Looks like Fox Valley Mall is once again called 'Fox Valley Mall' now that Westfield has sold it. I wouldn't have even known except that when I went to check-in, the Westfield Mall yelp page said it was permanently closed--strange since I was walking around in a fully operational mall. Suddenly I remember the new orange sign outside that said "Fox Valley Mall"; what other changes are to come? If the name change is any indication, then not very much, and the changes may make no difference at all. What will stay the same is that this mall will be mainly for the locals--the only niche it can really survive in, with larger malls (boasting higher-end stores) and an outlet mall not too far away. You'll find the standard anchor stores like Sears, Carson Pirie Scott, JC Penny and Macy's, as well as Abercrombie and Fitch, Express, the Gap, American Eagle, Hollister, and H&M, along with the eclectic collection of unique--and sometimes baffling--stores and kiosks that really define this mall. I'm not saying it's a good thing, I'm just pointing the thing out. Obviously I appreciate this mall, being that it is so close to me, and I've found myself coming here pretty regularly, sometimes just to get a drink from Ma Tea House or Gloria Jean's. There's a pretty decent bookstore and a Panera too, which is great if you don't want to eat typical mall-food. This mall has definitely tried to curry favor with parents with children, and that's a trend I doubt will end--not that I'm complaining. I haven't had a worse experience with the added stroller--and choo choo train--traffic, and you might not either. The bottom line for me is that it's a great local mall, though I wouldn't tell anyone to go out of their way to check it out. It's got a solid collection of stores, and a constantly morphing landscape of interesting shops that really add the spice that differentiates this mall from all the rest.

I was there Monday and we went to the family bathroom, it was disgusting !! Stepped inside one and gaged then went to the other, it was just as bad! There is no reason for this!

I used to frequent this mall a lot when I was in my mid-teen years. I loved going there when I didn't have anything else to do or had money to go shopping. So when I was 21, I left to join the army and when I came back home for a vacation a couple years later, it was completely different. It was much more crowded with adult-less kids. I had my hat on sideways which apparently became against the dress code while I had been gone so the security guard told me to take it off or "wear it right". I'm a grown adult and I'm being told how to wear my clothes in a public place because it's "gang affiliated". Way to give more power to them, bud. Whatever, I complied. Over all it seems to be wearing down, and it just is not as fresh and vibrant as I remember it being.

Took the little nephew and niece there, while their parents were busy getting things done at home. Tons of folks walking around, shopping, practically every square inch was crawling with kiosks selling all kinds of accessories, new cable TV offerings, entertainment (such as a merry go round in the middle of the food court!), all the major retail brands, etc. well maintained and lots of parking. Located right next to a major road and well populated area.

Just had a chicken shawarma sandwich at Aladdin (Mediterranean Restaurant) and to my surprise I now have a new favorite place to eat. They only had beef, chicken and veggie sandwiches, and now I really don't mind the lack of lamb! The garlic sauce definitely brought my experience to the top.

The Panera Bread at this place was horrible. First off, they ran out of bread bowls and proceeded to put the order in as if nothing were wrong. The people serving the plates in the kitchen were rude, and the most inconsiderate restaurant workers i have ever encountered. There were no straws at the drink area, so I asked one of the two girls behind the serving counter for a straw, and the girl acted as if she were too burdened to bend down and grab me a straw. When i went up to grab my plate, i was wondering why my mac and cheese was on a plate with no bread bowl, so i asked the girl where my bread bowl was, and she goes "oh, we ran out", i was beyond frustrated at this point, but i settled and just decided to eat. my mac and cheese was soggy and cold when i stuck my fork in it, the chips were a quarter filled in the bag, but i will admit that my fountain drink had a lot of flavor and it satisfied me, and the plates were cool. unless you want to see cool plates and have a good fountain drink, dont go here, no wonder it was empty.

The mall is definitely the nicest mall within 75 miles. 3 stories, beautiful infrastructure. Definitely clean and good vibes. My favorite mall to date in Illinois. Got a 4 start because the Round 1 Arcade has a lot of machines that don't work, and most of them are the fun games. All around, outside of the Arcade, definitely the most fun mall around Chicagoland.

It's a good mall. It's a good indoor mall for crappy weather days. They keep it pretty clean inside, and there's a decent selection of stores and brands.
