A beautiful farm to buy incredible locally grown beef but other fresh produce. I had a birthday party for a friend here at one of their spaces. Best event ever. Hike of farm first. Then savor our time among the stones. Sound bath at gorgeous event space filled with windows and wood. Dance performance and local band. Great place for caterer to serve food.

Foxhollow Farm is a great spot to go to if you are in the area. They do a cute little farmers market on the weekends sometimes and also have a little Market as well. You can get all kinds of different meats and other items grown at the farm in the market. Definitely worth visiting!

Came here a few times for spiritual retreats with mindfulness teacher, Jenny Bell, who also offers weekly meditation circles here. Very relaxing and peaceful environment. The rooms are very clean and it’s a great place to walk around in nature.

We love being out at Foxhollow! Beautiful scenery, friendly people and happy cows. The beef is great as well.

Google
Super disappointed with our half a cow we got. It feels like we got beef from their storefront and not a real half a cow. We received 169.45 lbs of beef for our half a cow share that we were charged a flat rate for and it did not match our cut sheet. It is by far the smallest half a cow we have ever received. I gave two stars because we live down the street and the cows are well taken care of in an eco friendly environment. The customer service needs work.

Visiting family in Louisville KY area from NJ and was looking for a local farm to visit to get some fresh products for dinner. Searching google showed that they had grass fed beef, milk products, honey, eggs and other collaborative farm products. We immediately took a quick ride and visited the farm market on site. This farm is beautiful! It had a tree lined entry way, scenic trails that you are free to walk and an awesome little market where all of the fresh produce is. I ended up picking up grass fed ground beef, low temp pasteurized unhomogenized milk and chocolate milk. All were fresh and delicious as can be!! This is a great place to source all of your milk, beef and eggs from without a doubt!! It was great to speak with Cody about the farm and he couldn't be more open and friendly to talk to. I can't stop thinking about how great this farm is.

Google
We stopped here after reading about it online. We were visiting Louisville and looked them up. They are a collaborative farm and specialize in grass fed and grass finished beef. They have a market that is open to buy their beef products, eggs, flowers, honey, ice cream and more. You should stop here. What an awesome place!!!! Chatted with Cody, he gave us all the info on the farm, a super nice person to say the least. Bought some beef, in which he packed up nicely in a cold bag with some ice packs, some fabulous honey, truly never tasted anything like it, and some local ice cream treats! They have hayride nights, concerts, meditation events, and nature trails. We were Sorry to have missed that, but will have to return one day. Thanks Cody. Well wishes to you all.

Yelp
This is a beautiful, intentional escape. I love the biodynamic farming approach and sustainable farming, and it's a special sight if the cows are out grazing! The property is peaceful and beautiful. The nature trail is wonderful to connect with nature, with gentle ups and downs, trees, and a lake. The farm house has great energy, with comfortable sitting areas and a big deck. I've enjoyed several events here, including their concerts, fall festival, and meditations. I haven't found the staff to be friendly, and I didn't get a response to my email about whether the farm house and its beautiful patio are open any time or just for events. The nature trail closes at 4:00 each day which means no after-work walks, and the farm store is quite small. But it's still a special place and definitely deserves 5 stars.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting the farm. Very easy to find, which is helpful for someone like me! I came for the Chance Concert and parking was easy. The staff/volunteers were very friendly. The space was very open and beautiful scenery as well. My daughter ate there and enjoyed every bit!

Yelp
Searching for a new family fall festival a recommendation came to try the 11th annual Foxhollow Farm. Great idea! Located 15 miles from Louisville in Crestwood Ky. At the festival we found a well organized event which included old farm fun activities for the kids, you pick pumpkin patch, corn maze, Hayrides, a baled hay castle to climb, tin can bowling, balloon pop, face painting, silk dyes and play ground. Many food trucks, arts and crafts & vender booths lined the walkway as well as a music area with plenty of seating. At the back side we found a adult area serving beer and cocktails. Woohoo! Some surprisingly unique items of interest found on the hayride was a large group of stone carved obelisks (see photos) each had carved symbols of nature, as we ventured the property we noticed more scattered single large stone obelisks. Foxhollow is a 100% grass fed beef cattle farm which supports a biodynamic community. Also you can order their beef online any size and cut boxed and shipped. Foxhollow.com and through several social media sites. The festival has a goal to give back to the community "Dare to care food bank" of farm fresh fruits and vegetables as well as its outreach program for "Maryhurst" field trips. What a well planned and organized event down to the last detail. Every attention was given to plenty of restroom and hand washing station, five recycling station facilities and to plentiful parking. Highly recommend Foxhollow Farm for your next fall festival. Normally held on the 2nd Saturday of October.

Yelp
Enjoyed the concert tonight at Fox Hollow Farm! Food was delicious and the music was delightful. Such a beautiful venue!! 20 minutes waiting in the drink line was a bit excessive, however! Perhaps another drink station would make things a bit more pleasant!!

Yelp
I have cooked and eaten the meats I bought from Fox Hollow Farm and I am convinced their meat is totally worth the extra bucks. Chicken: I gently poached the whole chicken. The meat was chewier and full of chicken flavor. Even the skin is more taunt and less fatty than the "conventional" stuff. Ground beef: I made some burgers with it and simply mixed in a little worcestershire. WOW, those were the best burger patties hubby and I have ever eaten. Beefy, meaty, with a slight hint of sweetness that does not exist in grocery store beef. Hubby even said he tasted a hint of grass from the beef. Beef short ribs: They dont' call it Slow Food for nothin'!!!! After about 7hrs of slow cooking (on high), they were finally ready for eating. If I weren't so hungry, it could have used another hour of simmering. But these were the most beefy, tasty short ribs! I only used some red wine and no extra beef broth was needed. And the best part of all is they weren't so fatty to make me feel guilty about eating it afterwards.

Yelp
Finally made it to a Sunset Concert Series event. We had a great time. Parking was easy. The food and music were perfect! Great family friendly atmosphere with lots of kids, pets, food and smiles! I'll be back.

Yelp
Excellent beef that is grass fed and finished! From steaks to roasts to hamburger, it's all delicious.

Yelp
Disclaimer: I'm a big sucker for farm fresh produce and the farm to table concept. So I love the idea of a self sustaining biodynamic farming community before heading out for a visit. The Store was a smaller then I expected, an old converted barn with few fresh produce, large selection of frozen organic meat, some organic household products and a few tables for lunch (served on Saturdays). The lunch menu is very small, main fares include the organic Burger and the seasonal special (chicken salad sandwich now). Everything is homemade and grown/raised on the premise. You have the option of eating there or they can pack it in a picnic basket for you to bring outside to the nice picnic/playground area or to bring on your nature trail hike. The chicken salad sandwich I got was decent for $6, made with chicken from the farm and homemade bread. The main attraction of the sandwich was the chicken itself, it was a bit chewier and the real natural flavor of the chicken was not buried under a ton of mayonnaise sauce. A nice place to visit on the weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can take a nature hike, check out the chickens and the vegetable gardens and stop in for for a good ol' modern twist country lunch.

Yelp
Review is for Sunset Concert series. Concerts are the first Friday of the summer months from 6-9 pm. We had an absolutely wonderful relaxing time! We attended two of the sunset concert series events and both concerts were perfect. Both concerts had different food truck options from local companies and they were all great. There are also wine and cocktail options. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Bring a blanket and chairs because the concert is outside and there are no chairs. The concerts are fun for all ages so make sure and bring the whole gang. If it happens to rain, which it did one of the concerts, they move the event inside.

Yelp
While we haven't eaten here yet, we went to hear Small Time Napoleon play an outdoor concert and fell in love with the farm. The setting was perfect on a cool summer evening. We strolled the grounds and visited the greenhouse. We can't wait to come back and try the restaurant!
