1 - The music was awful 2 - Security was ridiculous. One of my friends had a different type of ID that he had absolutely no problems with the entire trip, come here and they wouldn't let him in with it. What makes you guys so much more important than everyone else in Las Vegas?? 3 - The bartender was the rudest woman I encountered in Vegas.

FAB Reviews

Google
The security guards were rude, with the exception of maybe two. I talked to a manager who was also incredibly rude. Then I called for a refund after not going to the event and they said they would not give a refund for the tickets. The club was beautiful, but the staff? Not so much. I am very glad I got to leave the first review of this place because you all deserve to know.

Google
This place is ridiculous. Every booth is kept reserved at all times, despite having dancing cages we saw people ushered out of them, and 100ml of jaeger bomb was $15. K.

I was here the last Saturday for Borgore and I really feel bad for him, the club was so empty, the floor so dirty, my shoes get stuck on the floor, the club has potential and I hope to correct their mistakes Peace

Disappointed in literally everything to do with this club. Bad music, expensive drinks, empty dance floor. There are better places to spend your time and money!

Mediocre AF. Who wouldn't want to spend time buying expensive drinks to enjoy in an empty room on a Friday night?

No tables, everthing reserved. Security and the rest was friendly!

Yelp
This is my first time coming to Sahara. I went to see Magic Mike Live and it was awesome. This casino didn't smell like stale cigarette smoke like many do. Parking is free. They also offer valet parking. You can also catch ride share, such as Uber and Lyft, as well as taxis.

Yelp
First I would stay here again... It's definitely been updated from when I remembered it twenty years ago. So for those that haven't been here in a "while", it's no longer the dump it once was. I had avoided it based on my memories of a hot dog buffet and dumpy tables. But they have a monorail station and I came here for CES2025 and this was the most affordable option nearby that work would pay for... So why the mediocre review? 1) My television loses signal a lot 2) the volume doesn't work 3) they need more lighting in the rooms 4) they got rid of their poker room 5) one of their pit boss is rude to their dealers - very rude and disrespectful. Also acted irritated every time she had to do her job "change $100". That's literally her job and she acts like a jerk about it. She doesn't even look so why even bother?

Yelp
Terrible experience. Front desk people didn't give a shit. Had low expectations going in, the manage to screw it up further. Told them we had a toddler. We Paid for room "upgrade" and the put us in a room right under the smoking floor. So naturally, all that smoke filled our room from the vents. Called them to tell them, we smell smoke in our room, and response was, "oh, there's smoking rooms right above you" indicating they know the issue. Then without a word, they transfer you to the front desk. Customer service is horrendous. Don't expect much in terms of luxury. But general courtesy in service is a must. Silver lining, valet staff and room keep were very friendly and nice.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here during CES and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, updated, and easy to navigate. I've been going to CES for over 35 years and I'm over the mega hotels that require you to walk a half mile to get to your room. At the Sahara, we checked in, walked about 50 feet to the elevator, got on the elevator, and walked a few feet to our room. The LVCC is less than a mile away so it was very easy to walk to. The bed was super comfortable, but the bathroom needed a couple of shelves for us to store our stuff. The restaurants were excellent, especially The Noodle Den and Balla Italian. The lounge closest to the reception area was relaxing and the staff was super friendly. I was close to serving up a 5-star rating, but it was a little too quiet. I'll be back next year!

Yelp
We stayed at the Sahara Hotel and Casino on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for two nights. The lobby was very well decorated, clean, and beautiful. The room, however, was just plain and simple, TV has about 5 channels. Bathroom amenities were minimal - they provided a small bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Housekeeping did come by and refresh the room the next day, so we got new towels and the room was cleaned. Don't be deterred by the hotel's location further down the Strip - it's connected to the monorail. If you head down to the lobby, it's right across from Starbucks. The monorail is super convenient. You can buy tickets online, scan them, and head straight up the Strip. Overall, it's a very quiet hotel. I would probably stay here again if I'm visiting the Strip. It's comparable to The LINQ, but a little quieter, and the lobby looks nicer.

Yelp
I stopped by Sahara to get back to my hotel via Monorail after going downtown by bus. I left my wool coat in the lobby while going to the restrooms. Security found it and it was in lost and found. So after filling out a form, they gave it to me. I won a few bucks playing the $3 machine craps. Later I left my cell phone on the Willy Wonka slot. This slot gave me a bonus. I left and had to call and came back within an hour. Luckily, phone my phone was still lying on the machine. For new Club Card sign ups, they were giving $5 free play on certain machines, if you got $50 of slot play. They gave higher amounts depending on how much you spent. The floors un the lobby are super clean. I stayed at the hotel 4 years ago and they offered free drip Starbucks each day and discount Monorail offers. Plus no resort fees if you booked direct on Weekdays. The Lobby area seating smells good too this time.

Yelp
Stay away from this scam. This is not the Sahara the Beatles, Elvis, and Sinatra stayed at. My buddies each spent $2K each and we did not get an ounce of respect. Staff was horrible - I mean laughably bad, and everything is a hustle. As I'm typing this, one of the goons is kicking a guy out of the hotel for waiting on his brother to check him in. "Free drinks" are really up in the air at the bar and you can very easily get stuck paying $5 for a glass of coke, or $18 for a whisky and coke. We almost got kicked off the property for having our own bottle of whisky - despite there being no signs indicating this being not allowed and if you know the first thing about Vegas, you can carry alcohol around the city.. You don't threaten people who spend $2K each at your casino. The security officer also said that all drinks were "free". Liar. There was also blood on the covers and my buddy at checkout wasn't asked for his room number or keys... and then double checked that he in fact did 'check out' about 30 minutes later to be told he'd be charged a $45 fee. Stay. Away. From. This. Place.

Yelp
My stay here was just ok. I was at the Blanca tower with the double beds. Couple complaints were: - no microwave in the room - layout is really weird so you cannot open the bathroom door if someone is using the sink or you'll run the sliding door right over their toes - room was overall clean but curtains were dirty / stains here and there just not in pristine condition. We were on the 14th floor and had a direct view of the strat tower - our peripherals were blocked by some buildings. Daily housekeeping was great. I appreciated the convenience store, restaurants, and overpriced Starbucks downstairs for sure. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to book Sahara as a last resort but do better if you can.

Yelp
Stayed in a Blanca King room back in February. The good: low rates, recently renovated, free parking, next to the monorail station, quiet room. The bad: slow draining shower, random hairs on ottoman and nightstand, damaged bathroom tile, towel bar coming out of the wall, weak wifi.

Yelp
Great Casino located by the Stratosphere! Free parking, plenty of food options and convenient monorail if you want to hit other casinos and save yourself a walk! I enjoy this location because it's easily accessible from the highway without much traffic! Looking forward to repeating a visit here!

Yelp
The biggest con about the Sahara is that it is so far! Although the strip is small, getting from one place to another can be such a chore. Staying on the South end of the strip meant an almost 20 minute taxi in busy traffic to get to the Sahara. The pros though, this hotel is actually nice! They've done some nice things with the lobby and casino area and added good restaurant options. The biggest reason to come to the Sahara is Magic Mike! What a show!! Absolutely worth making the trek up here for this fun experience!

Yelp
Originally I was intending on giving this hotel 3/5 stars, BUT, the elevators caused major issues, so now it's 2/5. I must mention that I stay in a lot of high end hotels, and I think I was expecting Sahara to be a bit higher end in all honesty. Just for some background, I chose Sahara because it was close to an event I was attending. I'd like to highlight the positives and negatives about my experience (and I do want to give credence to the fact I know it was a busy weekend). Positives: -Valet was fast and easy (especially when leaving) -Music was trending with the Emo festival (one staff member even sang a song for us) -Bellmen were #1 out of everyone we came in contact with - they even went to get us ice when we first got to our room -2nd bellman experience - he showed us how to checkout by texting "farewell" because there did not seem to be a way to do it on the tv, so he ultimately helped save us time, thus we did not have to wait in the giant check out line -Enjoyed the Etc. store where you can get grab and go items -Great cookies and gelato from the cafe near Starbucks, just wish they had better hours Negatives: -Upon arrival, no one guided us at valet or opened our doors (they did much better when we were leaving) -No doorman -Front desk greeting = mediocre - did not tell us where the hotel elevator was (even though she saw us walking in the wrong direction) -In addition to the minimal greeting, we did not get information about the hotel, how to work the tv, where to find things within the hotel, etc. (it felt very lazy) -No room service but you can mobile order for pickup (only a few very overpriced restaurants with not so great food options) -No fan in bathroom and minimal door for privacy (only a sliding mirror) - this caused privacy issues and made it very uncomfortable -No robes -Have to give email and info for the WiFi versus using last name and room number -only 6 channels on tv, or you can use hdmi or cast - I had a lot of issues getting the tv to cast to my phone -broken/slow elevators...I waited 30 minutes for an elevator the final day of my stay, and it seemed like maybe they were broken or maybe only 1 was working. This was very upsetting and my group and I ended up walking down 19 flights of stairs (with several others who had the same experience) -late checkout issues - they would not allow for late checkout when asked I don't enjoy being overly critical, but I see some areas that could use improvement. From a design perspective, it felt like they were trying to be like the Moxi, but at a Vegas hotel with desert vibes and photos of women with camels everywhere. It really didn't work. The room was extremely small (I could pretty much hold hands with the person next to me). And, the curtain was so weird...a bunch of people at a concert starring at you all night? I did enjoy the large mirrors, those were cool, but I think this room could use a lot of improving. The wallpaper and padding on the walls needs to go!

Yelp
ive stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions this year (in feb and in nov 2024) and both stays have been consistently great! magic mike is at this location so thats a plus if you already plan to go the monorail also goes through this hotel (its one of its stops); i highly recommend opting for the monorail as it stops throughout the strip and the prices are not steep at all! rooms are clean and mirrors are a plenty! ive never felt unsafe here. love that theres a fridge in the room too. downsides would be the tv channel selections- reception for the channels go in and out and the restaurant/food selection in terms of early morning and late night are lacking.

David J.

Yelp
Solid. Happy when I stay here. Just off the strip enough to be comfortable. Pretty floors, classic looks

Yelp
*visited from Houston during 4th of July* This hotel is a pretty decent. I like the location of it. You will need an Uber, Taxi or rental car to get to the main attractions of The Strip. We stayed in the Blanca towers near the fitness room. The room was very small; we had two beds in the room with a small cut out window. The window was a rectangular shape at the top. I wish the window extended more, it felt like a prison lol. The bathroom was odd, like the bathroom sink was next to the bed and a partition for the shower and toilet; not a big deal, just a usual adjustment. But one thing I did like about the hotel is the tv. I like the fact that there was the option to cast to the tv from the phone, that is a PLUS. Although, it took some time to work with because of connectivity issues but it worked more times than not. Also, there was Netflix app on the tv that was available. The staff were helpful and friendly. Shoutout to the housekeeping team, the room was very clean and felt comfortable despite it being a relatively small hotel room. I also liked the Alizo Ultra Pool which is 21+ only. The music was good, it wasn't super loud and overbearing. I had a daybed reservation and our waitress was very helpful and responsive. The bartenders were great and very very nice. Like the hospitality here was AMAZING. The manager was able to credit me a refund due to my mom sending a poke bowl back (she didn't realize it was raw tuna), the manager was very nice and understanding about it and offered me a complimentary drink while he processed my refund . It's the little things like that warms my heart, just generosity and understanding! Lastly, there is free parking and free waters for hotel guests. I think they are making some upgrades but I will stay here again, probably in a different tower though!

Yelp
I just want to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the Sahara. I didn't have a chance to see the room so the review is for the lobby and casino. It was very modern and clean. Large gaming space, beautiful decor and friendly staff.

Yelp
I lucked out when I found out I was staying at the SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel. I thought to myself...I'll be camping in the SAHARA Desert next. ;-) I heard it was a fairly new hotel. When I checked in, I was pleased by the customer service right away and by the guest perks they had available during my stay. I instantly loved its luxurious vibe, bright lights, and attractive decor. My room was stunning and looked clean. I'm a bathroom person so I couldn't wait to take a long hot shower after a long day with traveling but noticed that the water only can get warm to lukewarm. Later, I also discovered the walls were thin...I can hear my neighbors. Aside from a few shortcomings, there were so much to do at this hotel. You can go for a swim, see shows like Magic Mike, dance the night away at Latin Night on Fridays, gamble away at the casinos and eat/drink away at the restaurants/bars - everything is here...your one-stop-shop. So in a nut shell, I enjoyed my stay at SAHARA and will go back. FYI - It is located on the South Strip with access to the Monorail.

Ryan R.

Yelp
I booked using Orbitz, but paid extra for a small upgrade and resort fees. The upgraded room was nice, except for the toilet clogging up. Luckily, they sent someone up to fix it right away. Elevators are kinda slow to open and close and go up/down. The staff were nice when I checked in. Also, I wish they had a coffee maker in the room, but I think that's why they have the Starbucks in the lobby. lol last thing, I could connect my phone to the hotel WiFi but not my laptop. So I couldn't do any work, oh well!

Kurt C.

Yelp
Feeling a bit light in the wallet after my last trip to the Sahara, but I've got no complaints--except maybe that the slot machines didn't seem to know I was there to win! Financial woes aside, this hotel was worth every penny and every step of its distance from the chaos of central Vegas. Let's start with the Azilo adults-only pool: imagine a tropical oasis with a screen so big, it could double as a drive-in theater. Watching sports there was the ultimate fantasy league experience. The drinks were flowing, the service was faster than a dealer's shuffle, and the vibe was spot on--elevated but not over-the-top. It's like they found the sweet spot between a party and a place you'd actually want to relax. As for the room? Upgraded to the Marra, and wow. This was no basic bet. Clean, chic, and cleverly designed with more nooks and crannies than a secret passageway. The shower was like a mini car wash for humans--great water pressure, and plenty of space to soak away the sins of the night before. If you're looking to stretch your budget without straying from the Strip, this is your place. The monorail hooks up directly to the hotel, making it a breeze to hop on and off to explore other spots. It's like having a VIP pass to all the luxe amenities of Vegas, but without the need to mortgage your house. Bottom line: Sahara is a jackpot if you want a little luxury without going bust. Who needs the glitz when you've got a great place to call home base? I'll definitely be back...hopefully with better luck next time in the casino!

Jordan S.

Yelp
Actually the room and facilities are what you'd expect. The Sahara is one of the older hotel / casinos, but we knew that going in and had that expectation. So no problem with that. But a more than dated motif, slow 'gurgling' sink drain, swampy / damp feeling AC, multiple broken elevators the entire stay, limited and confusing television interface and remote with no sports channels, not even ESPN, and 'suspect' customer service takes The Sahara down a notch. All Las Vegas casinos have odd driveway layouts with their weird lanes and meaningless velvet ropes that tell you nothing. But The Sahara's hiring practice of putting their lowest quality employees out front to welcome and direct the flow of traffic in their casino driveway is disrespectful. Come-on, just direct drivers without the rolling of your eyes, posing with your hands on your hips while shaking your head in a "no" fashion huffing and puffing, shrugging of shoulders along with whining that drivers do not understand your goofy hand gestures and body poses. As dumb drivers we're sorry we don't get your driveway rules, but lighten up . . . please.

Yelp
We just stayed at the Sarah this last weekend (Sept 27th-29th, 2024) and here's our report. First, KUDOS to the first person we talked to once we were inside. Delaney was spot on solid in getting us checked in, and clearly has both people and business skills. We went to our room and found that the TV remote could only turn it on and off. No choice of anything. Apparently they don't check these things. I called the next morning to ask that the room be made up and the TV remote fixed/replaced. More on that in a bit. We noticed that the room has no coffee maker, which is a newer thing in Vegas as they want you to patronize the Starbucks downstairs. This, along with pay parking are the new normals in Vegas. We also noticed that there were no of the little amenities (shampoo, lotion, etc.) Was this another new normal? When we went to go out for the day, I called the desk again around 10 am and asked that the TV remote issue be addressed when they made up the room. As the maid's cart was next door, I was confident that it would be done. When we returned around 3:30, neither had been taken care of so I called again. What appeared to be a manager appeared a few minutes later and had the remote fixed. She was very good, and also made a call to get a maid there, who showed up a while later and stocked the little amenities and did the other maid things. Nice lady. The rest of our stay was uneventful except for not being able to get a late checkout (they were 100% booked) but they were nice about letting us leave bags with the bell station as are most hotels. We enjoyed a couple of NFL games at the sports bar, were served well by a staff that was very good, the food/snacks well prepared. Drinks spot on. Oddly enough, my wife was open to returning in March when we see Barry Manilow, and so I booked the weekend back here. And so it goes.

Yelp
My fiancé and I planned a joint bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas with 26 people and we chose the Sahara as our accommodation and meeting point for everyone. We love the hotel for amenities, cleanliness, and great customer service. This hotel is on the smaller end, which was great because it's easy to meet up and not get lost. We stayed in a king suite in Alexandria tower, and it was lovely. Alexandria Tower is the most up-to-date, so try to book there if possible. We became Sahara insider reward members, and got a huge discount off of our stay. Our room was very clean and had a huge closet. The toilet was in a separate from the shower which was wonderful for getting ready. There were many mirrors too! Our party did a morning swim at the Azilo ultra pool (21+), and there were free lounge chairs, a big bar, and a hot tub. We arrived around 10 AM, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We tried UnoMás Taqueria for late night tacos, and drinks. I was excited that they had a vegan taco for our friends. I also got an alcoholic margarita Dole whip, which was to die for! We ate several breakfasts at Zephyr. It was pricey, but the food and ambiance was really good. We had the noodle den for dinner and it was incredible. We got truffle pork soup dumplings, which were highlight, as well as hand, pulled Dan Dan noodles and vegetable knife cut noodles. Everything was delicious and fresh. This isn't the biggest casino floor, but our group had some fun playing the slots and roulette tables. A friend won $190 off of a $20 bet. We became player's rewards members and servers came around with drinks. Lastly, a group of us had the best time at the Magic Mike show! It was incredible. There is a female emcee who explains that the show is about having a fun time with consent. It was extremely classy, and I highly recommend! The parking garage is free, and valet is free here as well. It was so nice to valet our car in and out. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. This is the last stop on the monorail. My only complaint is that there is not a coffee maker in the room, so you have to go downstairs to Starbucks to get coffee. But other than that everything was perfect! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Risto K.

Yelp
One of the oldest hotels in Vegas! Initially opened in 1952 this hotel has changed names several times, from Sahara to SLS to W Las Vegas to SLS and finally back to its original name Sahara. Sahara has therefore a rich history... While it is an older hotel-there have been several renovations along the way, and rooms are modern design, and so are the bathrooms! Shower in particular is large and modern - and that was well done. Few amenities that you see in higher end hotels such as integration of blind controls or light controls into the tablet will not be found here, but otherwise - hotel room is better than most non Vegas hotels! In particular - it is one of the best mattresses I slept in Vegas!!! This was well done! Front staff is very kind and helpful. Customer service on the phone can be pain to deal with and they ought to fix this. Price wise it is on more affordable side, partially as it is on the northern part of the Las Vegas strip, partially as it has reputation as an older hotel. Few interesting things: Sahara is the last stop on the monorail and really east access to monorail is a huge plus. I stayed at Sahara as I visited CES show at the Las Vegas Convention center and taking monorail was better than Uber or taxi! All in all - I was pleased with room and hotel location as this is a solid hotel! Moderately priced, Sahara is a good value!

Bob K.

Yelp
They advertise that their hotel is "completely renovated". Not true. I was assigned to a room that was probably new in the 1960's. Weird curtains instead of paint or wallpaper covered the walls depicting sceneries from the days of Marie Antoinette, including an image of her overlooking the bed. Good news - the hotel staff were very nice, but I was very disappointed in their misleading advertising. I asked about being moved to a "completely renovated" room but was told that none of them were available. The front desk staff even acknowledged to me that my room was old and dumpy.

Anna B.

Yelp
Pretty hotel! I walked through here to attend the Magic Mike Live show. The restrooms are clean, lots of trash cans, and solid amount of food options inside amongst the gambling machines.

Brian R.

Yelp
1 working elevator for entire tower for 5 days. Maintenance person confirmed, "they bring them up and down for maintenance." I call BS

Athena W.

Yelp
My experience at this hotel was disappointing. To start, I was given a smaller room because they claimed there were no other options available. They assured me it was the same price room, but that wasn't what I had originally booked. I reserved the Marra room, which is 360 square feet, but was given a Blanca room that is only 335 square feet. The receptionist insisted they were equivalent, but the size difference alone clearly indicates they are not. Not to mention the rooms both state on the website different amenities. Additionally, the carpet in my room was dirty, making me reluctant to remove my shoes. I definitely wouldn't choose to stay here again; the only reason I did this time was due to a work conference. On a positive note, the bar at the Italian restaurant in the hotel was excellent. The bartenders were extremely friendly and offered great suggestions for both food and drinks. They even took the extra step to inquire about any food allergies when I placed my order, and they double-checked that my meal was correct when it arrived. Their attentiveness and care were truly appreciated.

Danny V.

Yelp
One of my favorite hotels to stay when in Vegas. Close to every local brewery and great restaurant off the strip.

Chatejah G.

Yelp
We had no working water at the Sahara for a day. Couldn't flush toilet, wash hands or shower after a long day of riding dirt bikes in the desert.

Cathy E.

Yelp
I bought a Groupon thinking it would save me some money. It didn't. I had to pay additional fees. Then we got there at 10:20 am. The rep said the room was ready now but check in is not till 4 pm. Omg! That's late! She said if I pay another $50 I could get in the room now. I think that is awful. Charging more when the room was already available. I have stayed at other hotels and was never charged for being early. If the room was ready they gave it us. So so disappointing. Also, no coffee pot in the room. I like my coffee when I wake up. You had to go downstairs to BUY coffee! How cheap can you be. Also we couldn't hear the tv. We had the volume up to the highest. We had a motor humming in our room which didn't help. Then the water was completely off. I called & it was a burst pipe. Didn't care for the restaurants either. I liked & had more fun at MORONGO Casino near my house.

Bryan K.

Yelp
Old and nasty. Walls scuffed, no art work. Room was muggy after a shower. Blankets felt nasty after a shower because of the moist in the air. Room tables were still dirty. THE TV's only have 7 channels. The staff was amazing tho, very helpful . Very informative. Customer service was 10/10.. love everyone that helped us out . Unfortunate that the rooms didn't match the employee / valet / security vibes.

Evelyn S.

Yelp
So I give this place a 2.5 not a 3. 9/23 - 925/23 -So we booked this hotel as we won some Raider tickets and everything was super pricey or booked. It was recently renovated and it looks surprisingly very nice. Very different from my stay about 10 years ago lol. Cleanliness 5/5: The room, restrooms, lobby, elevators, common areas and hallways were all very clean. There were not complaints in any of those areas. Gym: 3/5 Very dated machines but very well maintained. Decor/Ambiance/: 4/5 It is nicely decorated and they had some events at the pool and plenty of restaurants that had good food. I took two stars off just because we got there like an hour before and they wanted to charge us early check in for like $50 lol good luck. I have stayed elsewhere and they usually let you check in early. We left our bags with the concierge and had some lunch/dinner (Linner) and drinks at Chickie's & Pete's (really good food and drinks btw) and walked around. Another reason I took stars off is because they charge 50 resort fee per night and our television and Wifi wasn't working. Like seriously if you are going to charge resort fees at least have some incentive like get my television or Wifi to work. We did upgrade to the nicer room for a small fee. It was good for a last minute trip. Oh by the way we got around everywhere thanks to the monorail. It is very convenient and you can buy a 24 hour pass for like 11 dollar.

Yelp

Yelp
I was a little apprehensive about staying at the Sahara because it's one of the older hotels in Las Vegas, however, it was really nice. I stayed in the Alexandria Tower. The room was really large. I loved there wall to wall sofa all in white. My bed was super comfortable, fridge in room, very large bathroom and Clean! There are some painted pictures of Alexandria above the bed which some people may find uncomfortable but it's part of the ambiance of the Alexandria Tower. My only dislike was the glass wall in the shower, even though it had a curtain to cover the glass, it was a bit uncomfortable having that exposure. Also, although the bathroom was very large (great design) there isn't a door at the end of it. Overall, great place to stay and a great price. E.K.

Yelp
Disappointing Stay - Seeking Resolution Checked into room 11006 today (5/3) My recent stay at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas was regrettably disappointing, falling short of the standards expected from a well-known establishment. Having stayed at numerous hotels worldwide, the conditions and service here were notably subpar. Upon arrival for a music festival that was later canceled, my sister and I were initially greeted by Rizza, a front desk representative who provided excellent service--she was empathetic and understanding of our distress due to the festival cancellation. Unfortunately, this positive interaction was the highlight of our stay. Our room presented several unacceptable issues: stained walls, dirty carpets, unclean bathroom floors, and a non-functional TV. When we attempted to address these concerns with the management, hoping for a reasonable solution such as a room change or a cancellation of our booking, we were met with indifference. Despite the clear evidence provided (attached photos and videos), the hotel manager, Jennifer, repeatedly stated that refunds were against hotel policy and only offered a minimal 15% resort credit. She informed us that the hotel was at full capacity and no alternative accommodations could be provided. The lack of effort to resolve our legitimate grievances was astonishing. As a professional in the customer experience sector, I find it unacceptable for a hotel to leave guests in an unsanitary room without attempting any remedial action, such as sending housekeeping. The response to our complaints was essentially that we were to be content with a substandard room because of hotel policy, which is simply not good enough. Given these circumstances, I urge the Sahara Hotel management to reevaluate their customer service protocols and the effectiveness of their management at the front desk and beyond. A hotel's primary responsibility is to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for its guests, something that was not achieved during our visit. I kindly request the hotel to reach out to me directly to discuss a fair resolution to this matter, ideally in the form of a full refund. This experience has profoundly impacted my view of Sahara Hotel, and I am hopeful that the management will take swift action to address these issues.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay at SAHARA this past weekend. The hotel and casino were clean and in good upkeep versus being rundown looking like how many places not on the main strip appear nowadays. The Marra tower had several elevators and were speedy getting up/down to the 19th floor and hotel lobby. The view from room 31911 was really nice and I could see the Strat and Fremont clearly. I didn't encounter any issues with loud neighbors nor issues with room temperatures while I was there, and the non-smoking room I had was indeed free of odors (much to my relief)! The casino itself is somewhat smaller but offers multiple restaurants, bars, gambling tables, machines, and two pools--plenty of entertainment for the weekend! I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
I originally booked from 09/29/23 - 10/02/23, then extended my stay until 10/04 and just now extended my stay until 10/07....... I don't want to go home. I love The Sahara and everything about it. This is my first time out here and this will be my only hotel to stay at for future trips. The staff are so kind and friendly. The pools are really nice and well maintained. The restaurant selection in the resort are all super tasty and the rooms are so clean and too comfy.....enough to extend twice during the same stay. Single or with family, you will be welcomed and thankful you stayed here. Great slot action and I am always hearing cheering coming from the tables. You can easily walk the strip or ride the monorail to your next destination to walk around.

Yelp
Hotel in general is pretty clean. Most of the staff are pleasant. Room is nice. Today we had an issue as we planned a pool day and when we got there it was closed for the day for a function. No notice at all. Went and spoke to the manager Aromn who didn't care. Just said that there's another pool available which is tiny. See map. As most of you are aware the resort fees include pool which is the main thing as well as gym and WiFi. Neither of which we needed. You can walk in off the street and enjoy free WiFi so why I have to pay makes no sense. Customer service 0 I'm afraid. So now we won't spend any money here. We will eat at other hotels etc

Yelp
It's not a dump anymore! I hadn't been here in years and ended up here because this is where Bazaar Meat is. That was one of my top 10 dining experiences of my entire life (sorry Nobu, you didn't make the list). This location was at the northern end of the "Strip" at the corner of Sahara (which came first, the street or the casino) and LV BLVD. It's away from the busy sections of the strip which is kind of refreshing. The inside was new feeling and clean. The decor was a little over the top and it looked like it could use a few more minor tweaks to make it 5 star, at least on the casino floor. One downer is they have their own Players club and I don't recall what (if any) Casinos it's affiliated with. As much as I don't like the big conglomerates, it's kind of nice not having to carry 18 cards with you, but going here probably means one extra. There is a Monorail station in the back so that's convenient if you use that thing. We took an uber from the Delano and it wasn't much money (under $20) to get dropped off at the front entrance. Leaving via Uber was a bit confusing and I can't offer any advice on what to do. Just ask someone! lol I'd go again, but only if I was going to dine again at the Bazaar Meat. I can't comment on staying or any other amenities. It didn't make sense to gamble here as we could earn points gambling with our MGM cards at plenty of other places. We had fun killing time though.

Yelp
We just started coming to this hotel. I fell in love with the place. Felt secure every time we stay here. Guards are visible in all corners of the hotel. Not enough choices to eat from, but the restaurants available are pretty much decent. Rooms are clean. Front staffs are great! Mostly everyone that works here has a positive attitude, from the housekeeping to the management. We highly recommend this place. 10/2023

Yelp
I was not an overnight guest of the hotel. However, my high-school girlfriends and I celebrated our milestone birthdays by going to the Magic Mike Show here at the Sahara (which is spectacular, by the way). BUT it was after the show while we were getting a taxi back to our hotel that the Magic really happened. We were greeted by the nicest man named Gator! His vibe is wonderful. He is exactly who you want to represent your hotel. I want to specifically thank him for making our night so special. I'm sincerely so grateful. I hope he sees this message.

Yelp
Although I have never stayed here, I didn't know what a GEM this was. My room was fabulous! The room was clean and modern. It's posted at the very being of the Strip by Circus Circus. So it's definitely on the quieter side. The lobby was very busy after I got checked in. There is a small bar in the lobby, stores in the hotel and a Starbucks. Customer service was friendly. Ambiance is festive! It's Vegas baby! So if in the area, give it a try.

Yelp
I'm nearly 40 years old and have been coming to vegas since turning 18. Now I'm a family man. My wife is at a conference next door and brought us along. She had to upgrade our room for about $200 extra a night which she did on the ride over. She spoke with DIEGO , whatever kind of supervisor he is. He provided both of us with his contact info in the event that his notes or whatever is questioned by his front desk staff. He probably knew that whatever he did would be questioned because it was. We contacted him within work hours and he never responded. Myself and my child had to wait until my wife left the conference to check in. Horrible and ridiculous experience. Not worth it. Go on strip and have a better customer experience for the price. If this place is continuing to operate like this it's only a matter of time that it goes under like it once did

Yelp
To sum it up, The Sahara went beyond my Expectations! The price point made me feel the Resort was going to be very Average and lack in cleanliness however it was the Total Opposite! The Check-In process was very fast, (although I did see many long lines after), & the staff were friendly and attentive! Might I add, the elevators are VERY FAST! We did have a little hiccup though after retuning from the strip. The 1st room we checked-in had a very loud AC that had a broken motor. A simple call to the front Desk resolved this and within an hour we were able to switch rooms plus receive a $50 comp to use. The Resort, like many in Vegas has EVERYHTING you need. Starbucks, multiple restaurants, a descent Casino, multiple bars! And for the price, you can't beat it. We were here on a Promo but rates were as low as $54 a night! Our room was also in the Marra Tower, but cheaper rates can be found in the Blanca Tower. For a more exclusive, premium retreat the Alexander tower allows more access to amenities and more space & detail in the room. I will say, the decor seems a bit cheap and Ikea-ish but you be the judge! The tacos at Uno Mas are delicious and I found much better than Tacos El Gordo! Uno Mas also offers Impossible Meat for meatless eaters craving something late night! Noodle Den isn't bad either for a quick meal in the Resort and Baazar Meats can be found in the Resort as well which is known to be the #1 Steakhouse by many. From what I hear, it's an EXPERIENCE. My only cons are the Pool Hours which I hear are standard in Vegas. This may be why I always prefer South Florida-lol. Also, the cups for drinks were ridiculously small and expensive. $50 for 2 mixed drinks! And they don't allow any food/drinks at the pool! They require you to buy their overpriced food and beverage, and they will check and walk by to make sure! Seemed a bit desperate. Lastly, people make a huge fuss about the north End of the strip! It's really not bad at all. Within 5 minutes you're by the Wynn which is more centralized. I will say, don't walk to the hotel at night. My sister and I did this and even I got a little nervous. Vegas homeless are drugged TF out and Aggressive. One followed us for a while, then gave up. So be mindful.

Yelp
I have checked into the ugliest hotel room in existence! Here for business and the first room they gave me was dirty. The headboard is made of white fabric and not only was there long hair and dust on it, there were little black curly hairs on there as well and trash under the couch. I called and they moved me to another room in the Alexandria tower. Cleaner, but still the same god awful decor that is going to give me nightmares. What the hell is going on with the lady over my head board? And a mirror on the ceiling ??? I am going down now to ask for a room in a different tower.

Yelp
Heard they would do a tier match so stopped by to check them out again. Person at the rewards desk would perhaps be better in a position what was not in contact with the guests. I will say the person was mostly professional but not overly friendly. Rewards is a perfect place to get a new player excited about all your property has to order. Not what we experienced. The tier match was uninspiring. At the Iconic lever there are a few things we might take advantage of but we were informed we had to play first and get rated by our host before taking advantage of the VIP items. No info on how much we would have to play and we decided to just keep our play with MGM and Caesar's. So after all that, the property was nice and clean. Gaming floor was comfortable. Good ventilation, not really smoky. Not much luck at slots but held my own at craps. 60 minutes without a server so poking money into a machine and no tequila to ease the pain...yeah, moving on... We are not too crazy about the north strip and with the ambiguous requirement of enough play to get our host to comp us, prob won't be back. I wouldn't recommend you stay away or anything, just not our deal...YMMV...

Yelp
Decent hotel with some surprises! My husband and I are Formula 1 fans and made plans to attend the Vegas Grand Prix. We wanted a hotel that was close to the race without being in the middle of the madness, and we refused to pay $800 a night. Sahara came through! I had never stayed at this property so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised with almost everything. Valet was a breeze, the check in process was painless, and everyone we encountered was friendly. I also really liked that it was super quick to get from the front desk to our room. We didn't have to weave our way through a casino or trek a mile to the elevator. We were given a room in the Alexandria Tower and it was, umm, interesting. It was clean and comfortable enough, but the walls had fabric hanging down in an effort to give the room a Roman type vibe. There was also a peekaboo shower which was unexpected. The door to the toilet/WC portion of the bathroom had a swing door that left quite a gap so there was zero privacy for whoever was in there. We did feel safe. We were coming back to the hotel in the early morning hours and Security ensured we were registered guests before we could take the elevator. I appreciated this. An unpleasant surprise was not being able to order room service. This was a shock! And the tight elevator security meant that no outside food delivery services could get to our room. We could meet the delivery driver in the lobby, or go to one of the restaurants and get our food to go. But no room service!!

Yelp
Kindest staff I've experienced in a long time, from the security guards, to the maintenance staff. A woman was cleaning and stopped to offer to take a photo of my child and me. The cleaning crew takes great care in the rooms and are thoughtful with your belongings. The taco joint was really tasty, and the monorail was super convenient. Plus, FREE VALET AND PARKING ON THE STRIP?! Come on now! They communicate deals and offers with you via text, and offer express check out. The reason I didn't give five was the noise level was kind of intense on the 16th floor, I could hear everyone's comings and goings above and outside my room, and the bed was lumpy and wildly uncomfortable. Great pillow assortment though.

Yelp
I would rate this hotel higher if they didn't make me wait till 4pm to check in. Got there at 1pm and sat with my kids and baggage till 4pm. After finally checking in we made it to our room. Clean spacious room with a beautiful view. Many dining options and a few bars/lounges. Very clean and well designed hotel. As for gambling they don't offer any of the table games I like but still a nice selection. Gotta love Starbucks and quick valet service. The beige suit workers gave me attitude because my child's stroller wheel was on the casino carpet. Thought that was a little too much. It's not like my 8 month old is going to gamble. Take it easy folks. The hotel is fairly priced and conveniently located at the end of the strip. Quick free parking is a bonus. I would consider staying at Sahara again.
