Loved this coffee shop looks very clean and organize. They do have several things to grab a snack. My matcha was rly good and the staff was really kind. The bathroom has a code and is super clean! Well located and has cute tables outside to get some fresh air.

I recently visited Foxtrot and had the opportunity to try both their espresso and cold brew. While my experience was mixed, I have to say that the cold brew was absolutely fantastic. Starting with the espresso, I have to say that it was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, the shot was under-extracted, resulting in a bitter and unsatisfying taste. While I appreciate that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to coffee, I found it difficult to enjoy this particular shot. For this reason, I would only give the espresso 4 out of 10 stars. On the other hand, the cold brew was a completely different story. It was smooth, flavorful, and had beautiful floral notes that made it a pleasure to drink. I appreciated the care and attention that went into brewing this particular coffee, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and refreshing cold brew. For this reason, I would give the cold brew 9 out of 10 stars. Overall, while my experience with Foxtrot was a bit mixed, I would still recommend checking them out if you're in the area. While the espresso didn't quite hit the mark for me, the cold brew was truly exceptional and made up for any shortcomings.

The staff are super cold, look like they are "daydreaming" or something similar because they totally don't know what they should do. Ordered a pick-up, walked 6 min to the store and when I got there, not a single one of the four items I ordered is ready. Waited in the store for another 15 min and after I asked 3-4 times, and eventually talked to the guy at the counter again, he finally gave me one of the two tacos I ordered. I showed him there is another one, then he gave me that. I then showed him I also ordered a roll, he grabbed that. Then he didn't even give me a bag, watching me with four items on my hand including a latte (which is cold after my waiting). Then I asked if I can have a bag :) Been to 3 locations of Foxtrot this one is the worst. Staff super cold and totally ignore your existence. I also wondered why people ordered behind me (because mine is a pick-up) can get their order before me. If I didn't ask, I probably have waited another 30 minutes, or forever. Tacos are glued with paper and I have eaten them before I noticed.

It looks like a specialty coffee store. Great espresso machine also! And then you get your drink…very dark (burned) roasted beans. Not a place I would go back for a good cup of coffee, or a latte.

Their $10 coffee date smoothie tasted like plain oat milk (consistency was same as oat milk too). Got one from the Tribune branch and you can clearly see the difference. On top of that, staff was rude, didn't even call out the drink. Emailed their customer team but no reply.

If you’re searching for some great coffee and snacks then trot on over to Foxtrot. This location is bigger than most. They carry a variety of local eats & let’s not forget the coffee. This blend is their Cary own which recently came out. Bold, flavorful and smooth. I give this place 5⭐️ Jerry (the pigeon) gives it 5.5⭐️ mostly for the crumbs that fall during outside snacking. This place is lovely — just what the neighborhood needed. Stopped by just for a promo, ended up ordering a delightful ginger Buddha bowl. Was flavorful, light and fresh! All the workers are friendly and following proper safety protocols. I’m a student and the outdoor patio as well as indoor area will be a great study spot for my friends and I (free WiFi!) Great menu, selection of prepared foods, snacks, alcohol, and pantry staples to fit every diet (vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, etc.). Excited to come again!

After living in streetville community for 2 years, this coffee shop have always give me the worst customer experience. If you order a coffee online and try to pick, and wait there for 20 mins, there would be 90% chance you will never get the coffee you have ordered. They either said they didn’t receive the order (despite you placed your order through their official app), or they forgot and not making it at all. The staffs have NO ownership and 0 customers obsession, they don’t care about their customers at all. Oh yes, you know what, they said they will refund the orders, BUT I never received those refunds. Plz, if you guys don’t know how to run a coffee shop, just replace it with a Starbucks, at least in the morning I can get my coffee and go to work on time.

Foxtrot as a whole: I love them. I love their fruit loop matcha, the seasonal lattes, their foxtrot house blend coffee beans, and the espresso martini mix. They change up their local goods that they feature so it's a great space to drop by to grab a gift for a friend. The featured wines are always great. The kid sister and love you bunches wine brands are my favorites. Generally, you can find cheap wine bottles here that won't break the bank but are still delicious. The sausage egg breakfast sandwich is my favorite! It's a great space to pick up little snacks from. The membership and app is totally worth it. This Location: - great WFH spot; can get busy so I recommend headphones - staff overall is generally nice

I've been in town three weeks now and am leaving tomorrow for home. I stayed almost across the street. Other than the chain Starbucks, this was the closest coffee shop. In no time I became a regular. It was so easy to download the app and order for pick up! Two weeks into my trip I got so sick. I ordered medicine and essentials from the app and it was delivered promptly. With my first delivery order I received a $10 credit. Currently, my fave drink of their hot Overcast Milk Tea! A refreshing cardamom tea drink. The staff are always friendly. There's always a place to sit and relax or surf. Good job guys!

Foxtrot is one of my favourite work from home places to be at during the summers. The outdoor patio area is just beautiful and nice with light music. They have a happy hour for beers and wines and I enjoy that! Good for regular coffee and sandwiches too. Great service, always quick and smooth.

Foxtrot's matcha latte with oat milk is my absolute favorite. Their food options aren't very impressive though. I have tried the couscous bowl and their veggie salad roll. The service is fast. The ambiance is casual. I like the convenience of being able to buy quick groceries and wine if needed. They have a nice workplace to sit and work but it can get a little loud.

Such a great little store and cafe! I love that you can go in and grab freshly made platters that look and taste amazing. Awesome little wine section too! Friendly service and really good selection!

Five stars for Foxtrot because it is the cutest little convenience store with a wildly great natural wine selection, coffee and food to go. If I lived in the area I would be shopping here all the time for things I didn't know I needed but could not live without (looking at you, bottle of espresso martinis). Anyways, it's not just about the booze here. I stopped in for coffee in the morning with my friend. We picked up two cold brews and a few breakfast tacos. They were delish! There are a variety of things you can buy here and you can most definitely pick up grocery essentials to enjoy a premade meal or cook something in a pinch. Wish we had something like this in Miami!

The Customer service isn't that great. I ordered the Pesto Veggie Brekkie and there were no roasted cherry tomatoes or arugula on my sandwich. I don't know is she was familiar with making the sandwich or if they were out of the items. They should have informed me that my sandwich was missing 2 major items, instead of me finding out when I opened my sandwich back at my office. Very Rude. Fox Trot at Streeterville in Chicago

Unpleasant experience. Out is salmon. Said they weren't serving iced drinks. What the heck?! Oogly boogly. Cashier made me feel dumb for asking for water, which they don't give u free tap. Hello?! I'm in a budget! Bleh. Erewon vibes tho soo thats cool

Very cute! A lot of nice snack options and it's a cute little shop, we sat outside and watched people walk by, it was very relaxing. The coffee was good. I would recommend coming here with a laptop to get some work done or with some friends to relax for a while

Came here to study for boards!! great atmosphere, not too loud which is ideal in a study spot. it is definitely a great place to grab a coffee or some groceries/study or work. in the heart of streeterville on grand and Mcclurg (across the street from Yolk). I got the coffee with oat milk (~4$). Would recommend searching for a spot hero if you are driving here and want to walk around after. Fox trot to school because there are groceries as well as a coffee shop. Will definitely be coming back here to study or if i'm in the area and need groceries to pick something up!!!

Love the selection of grocery store items and house-made prepared food at this market. It made me want to live in this area in Chicago. The coffee was also delicious and they had a cute little patio area right outside. I ordered my current classic: Iced oat milk vanilla latte and was happy with the price. Coffee is cheaper in Chicago than Virginia right now! It was everything I would expect from an iced latte order, the slight sweetness from the vanilla syrup, rounded out with the nuttiness from the oat milk. If I ever visit Chicago again, this place is on my list to visit again.

Had been past here many times before but stopped in today for a tea. The little market area is really cute, lots of things to choose from. I ended up getting an iced tea but there weren't that many options. I was surprised they didn't have a green iced tea which is my favorite! I got an iced earl grey tea which was light and refreshing! Would probably try something different next time but it was pretty good!

My wife and I have been going here for a couple of years. It's our favorite spot to hang out at when we need to get out of the house. It has about everything you could need. Huge shout out to Chris. He always makes us feel welcome. We travel a lot and are often out of the city but he always remembers us and finds the time to personally talk to us.

Cute little coffee shop that I think would be a nice place to work at during the day. I ordered a hazelnut latte with oat milk which was decent. The employees were all friendly and quick at making the drinks. I would recommend bringing cash the next time you visit since the card reader doesn't ask if you would like to add a tip.

The egg sandwich is not an egg ... it's " egg product " ..I did not exsp that and certainly not at this price.

Very disappointed with our experience with their Team Lead on Sunday, 6/5 at 3pm and also sending to their corporate team. Putting here on Yelp too to warn future customers! My friend ordered a salad and it came out incorrect twice. No big deal and mistakes happen. When she mentioned it was made incorrectly the second time, the team lead said that someone else took the correct salad because she was not standing as he called it. Not sure why he thought that was an acceptable answer? The the team lead seemed to be mad she was sitting waiting for her salad and said if she was standing she would have gotten her correct salad. Why should she be punished for sitting waiting for her food? We figured it was a miscommunication and no big deal, but then he got so visibly mad and began harassing and yelling at her for not standing up while she was waiting for her order. He was so upset and the anger felt misplaced. His yelling was distracting all other staff members and customers. I've been a huge/loyal fan of foxtrot as I've lived in the city for 6+ years and love their other locations. The food and ambience is awesome and will return to other locations in the city, but would recommend steering clear of this specific location and any interaction with this particular staff member.

Foxtrot certainly has any drink or fun, unique, or Artisanal snack you could think of. It is the perfect place to put together a picnic basket of fun for an evening or afternoon date. There's a wide variety of food to select from as well as some wines and beer from around the world. If you're looking for something slightly more upscale that won't break the bank, foxtrot is certainly a place to be. On a beautiful summers day, you can also sit outside on their patio and enjoy the meal with you just purchased. They also have a great hot bar and coffee available, so breakfast sandwiches and a fresh drink are a great way to start the day

Let me emphasize this is just for the Streeterville location on McClurg. LOUSY LOUSY BAD SERVICE! Third time that I and several other customers have stood in line waiting to pay with no one at the cash register and each time two people eventually saunter out from the back and can't even apologize. As a resident of the area, I am happy to know there are quite a few other places to go! Wouldn't advise come here if you want good service or basic common decency from people who work here Reading the other reviews, you see how the business owner Alexa is very quick to apologize and to appease but clearly she isn't doing anything to avoid all these low Yelp ratings! **** Post review: response from Foxtrot is the typical response that becomes the indication that nothing will be done to correct the situation and I will continue to not patronize this business even though it is in my street and encourage others not to be subjected to this kind of behavior.

THIS IS OUR Go To coffe/upmarket glossary nearby. Staffs are always nice and kind. They sell unique and special item like Levain Cookies@NYC or Mindys Bakery's fresh morning pastries,or Publican Quality Breads' baguettes or sourdough bread. Seating was not many but if you come here in the morning there are much seating and can enjoy freeWifi.

This was a super nice little coffee shop/Market. I was looking for a quality coffee shop when I found Foxtrot. The only other coffee I saw around was Starbucks. Foxtrot did not disappoint. They have a small little general store inside. Along with daily essentials and food, they also carry beer, wine, liquor, and ice cream. I had some coffee and some breakfast tacos. Everything was good and service was prompt. I will stop in anytime I'm in the area.

If you want a nice little market with healthy alternatives with a coffee shop this is your place.

Cute place with a classic European cafe feel, but I can't get past the horrible service. Overpriced and will mess up both your order and your drink. Also will allow you to order things which they are out of, so you'll be stuck with a poor substitute. Won't be coming here again.

I had high hopes for Foxtrot, but was sadly disappointed by the customer service and the drink I ordered. Specifically, I decided to order this iced cascara cherry drink that was clearly printed on the menu, and when I told the cashier that was what I wanted to order from the menu, she first told me that there was no such drink. I kept repeating myself multiple times, and yet, she still could not figure out what I wanted to order and tried offering some other drinks. I pointed to the item clearly laid out on the menu display right behind her, and finally she somehow came to her senses and placed the order. I can't imagine that this drink would be that difficult to make, but the order for some reason took at least ten minutes to make (even though my friend, who placed her order for a hot coffee drink right before me, got hers very quickly). When I finally received my drink, I found that while it was generally refreshing, as it was an iced drink for a warm summer day, it didn't really have much impressive flavor and just tasted like some juice with sparkling water. Totally overpriced for such mediocre product. And I hear now that they're trying to expand?? Inexplicable. There are much better options in the city to get a drink.

Love the vibe, customer service, and my açaí smoothie. Really really disliked the premade dishes, the ones ready to pop in the oven and microwave. I purchased 3 different ones to try out, my partner and I disliked them so much we couldn't finish them. I like the idea of this place, and think it has lots of potential. I hope they rethink those quick and easy meals, they would be a really nice option to have in this area.

It took more than 30 minutes to get a smoothie and they weren't that busy. Don't go here unless you have a lot of time to waste!

Monday March 22nd, I visited the FoxTrot inn StreeterVille. I was greeted at the register by a 20-something young man with long red who while taking my order, and clearly didn't practice the regulations around working in food service. An example of the aforementioned: *Continually played in his hair *Scratched the open bleeding Pimples on his arm- *Did not wash his hands After the actions mentioned about the same man grabbed my coffee cup and lid and handed it to the female manager/barista to make my coffee. While my coffee was being made I watched the same young man grab a coffee filter with his bare hands and load it in the coffee maker. It was at that point that I asked for a refund and I left. Finally- when I discussed the issue with the manager she defended the behavior. Foxtrot now off limits for me!!!!!!

I suppose I should give this a five stars since I've pretty much exclusively gone here since moving back to Streeterville a couple of weeks ago. Get the app you get good deals with it! Love the 1$ breakfast taco with cafe drink offer. Best selection of jeni's ice cream, good wines of all price ranges, decent sandwiches and salads to go. Love the patio! Sometimes gets full and annoying when there is one person with a laptop taking up a four person table. They should have a policy against that but for the most part people are cool with sharing the table (though I suppose we shouldn't due to covid).

Coffee and croissant run this morning to start my day, quickly it turned my mood sour with this type of customer service. Specifically by this cashier guy picture attached. He was unfriendly, rude and forgot my croissant. Overall it is not the end of the world type of issues but customer service is everything. Very simple to smile and greet like any normal employees would, if he hates his job he should quit instead of bringing his attitude and spread negativity. My first time in foxtrot was disappointing.

This is a large location compare to some of the other's I've been too. I had their latte on tap with no ice which was sweet which I didn't expect and I didn't need any syrup even though I asked for it. The staff was very nice.

Great spot and they have the BEST chorizo and egg tacos however I have some concerns. One being the avocado toast - they use fake guacamole spread and it's gross. Their "large" lattes, caps, americanos - are very small. So if you're European it will not be a bother but if you enjoy larger cups don't bother with their lattes or caps.

Couldn't be more excited about this location! The store is amazing, beautifully done inside and has just about everything you could need or want! Stopped in for their free cold brew, very good! My pregnancy cravings wouldn't let me leave without some breakfast tacos. Got the migas, little small but mighty in flavor. Salsa on the side was excellent. Sat on the patio for awhile as well, which is very inviting and well spaced out. Service was extremely welcoming and helpful!

Had tried to order before and the products were gross. Tried ordering ice cream and was fine. Third time order was cancelled after they called and said they didn't have one of the items. Took them two hours to let me know. Terrible stores/terrible service.

Overhyped & overpriced. Got a very mediocre bakery item that they didn't even offer to warm up. Waited 20 minutes for a cold brew....on tap. After all our food had already came out, I nicely asked for my drink & was met with a lot of sass. She poured it but didn't add the oat milk or vanilla I'm sure I paid extra for. I feel bad for the employees because they're clearly understaffed for a Sunday morning rush but no need to take it out on your customers. Too many places in this city with better coffee & nicer staff for me to ever return here.

Popped in for a coffee and pastry. The Oatly latte on tap was perfect and the "morning [something]" pastry was fantastic. 10/10 would coffee again.

I love the coffee drinks and the cafe space is really lovely. The customer service is hit or miss - sometimes baristas and staff are really nice and sometimes it seems like you're inconveniencing them when you're trying to order. Definitely not the welcoming vibe that Cupitol has across the street, but I like the space better - it's better for working and they usually don't run out of milk alternatives like oat or almond milk.

The store experience itself is great, but the delivery is awful. Don't order beer from these guys, it's always warm. They claim they don't have enough room in the cooler. Don't offer the product for sale if you can't make it cold prior to someone purchasing it. This isn't rocket science.

I love this place! The have great Avocado toast and Matcha which are my two faves. The vibes are always very clam, inviting and welcoming!

I had them deliver a birthday care package to a friend of mine and he LOVED it! Huge thank you to Star for the recommendations! From the wrapping of the items to the delivery, I love how they paid attention to the details.

I gave this place another shot after a previous bad experience, once again a disappointment. Stopped in today, like just popped my head in the front door, to ask if they carried a certain item. I was in the threshold of the doorway- not inside, not outside. No one was around me. The employee looked at me like I had three heads and said "do you have a mask?". Technically I wasn't even inside the establishment. I proceeded to put my mask on and she pointed me in the direction to my item. Just rude and pompous if you ask me. Yes I technically should've had my mask on when I was in the threshold of the front door, but there's a nicer way to speak to people. Seems like other people have had the same experience with this location. What happened to kindness to customers. Such a let down when other locations are fantastic!

The location is amazing and this kind of business was needed in streeterville however the service is significantly lacking. This is the third occasion where the associates have been very rude. I feel like I'm in one of those restraurants where the wait staff is purposely mean to you. I believe part of this is because they haven't been trained properly to use the system and get anxious. Management needs to step in and take a leadership role to train people on their systems and the value of being nice to customers. Have them go observe the girl who works the counter at Cupitol. A 2 minute interaction with her lifts your day. In addition, I was charged for a latté I didn't order. I was using the app and told it was credited when in fact it wasn't.

The Streeterville location denied me service after allowing me to wait for five minutes in line behind a single guest--who, as it turns out, was sold a bakery item that was not in stock. While one staff member tried in earnest to locate the baked good, two were struggling in earnest to operate the espresso machines. After going unserved at either register, I was asked to leave as my eight week old puppy (minding her business in my arms) was not a service dog. No restrictions on pets were displayed in text nor symbol on my entry door, and I would have had ample time to purchase a beverage and depart in less time than my "heinous puppy" would have been impugning the precious Foxtrot air during the visit in question . . . if only I would have timely served. On past trips, my orders have ranged from lukewarm lattes to the wrong beverage altogether. It's a shame that this shop in such a convenient location for many Streeterville residents has resigned itself to becoming an inconvenience time and time again.

holy crap this place is a mess - didnt even have a lid for a salad takeout - and then be rude when I ask for a takeout!

The breakfast tacos were soggy and very water cold brew. Disappointed. Save your money ... not worth it. The 7-11 down the street probably has better coffee

This location is very dirty, there is trash all over the inside of the store at all times, the patio is a complete mess as well. There has been a coffee cup in the same spot for 2 weeks. It's embarrassing, I finally threw it out on my own today. They stopped putting out their umbrellas for whatever reason, probably just laziness. Their smoothies are so inconsistent Its as if they don't measure anything. Some of their employees are very nice others are very rude. Ive had multiple friends get harassed by a specific employee for simple requests. I honestly don't know what happened to this place because it used to be great and now its really not worth going to.

Love foxtrot! It seems like they change their inventory quite often, so it always fun to pop in and see what cool stuff they've brought in. Can find tons of local goods!

This corner store & cafe is a stylish addition to Streeterville! I've been here 3 times. Twice to get Jeni's ice cream & grab & go meals for me & my husband. I like it that they have a bigger & more unique Jeni's flavor selection than most grocery stores. The grocery items are pretty expensive, but I'd expect that for a small boutique-like market & cafe. I finally decided to try out their cafe at my latest visit. I ordered a black tea & cinnamon morning bun. The morning bun was awesome! Not too sweet & the cinnamon coating on it gave it a nice texture. I ate it there, since indoor dining just returned. The barista, who made my tea, was very helpful & he even poured some honey into a small espresso cup so I could add the amount of honey I wanted into my tea. I'll come back for another pastry & maybe try some of the breakfast foods as well. I also really like it that Foxtrot is open much later than other coffee shop & cafe options in Streeterville. We need a nice spot, where you can hang out inside or on the patio & get some coffee & tea after 9pm & Foxtrot is that place!
