Foxtrot Will Reopen First Store This Week, Nearly Five Months Since Sudden Closures - Eater Chicago
"Four and half months after suddenly closing stores in Chicago, Texas, and Washington, D.C., Foxtrot will attempt a comeback by opening its first store this week. Outfox Hospitality, the company that ran those 33 stores filed for bankruptcy in May, leaving a wake of angry vendors, workers scrambling to find new jobs, and accusations of breaking federal labor law. Since then, a new entity has been formed by the chain’s co-founder who says he’ll return the company to its roots by showcasing cool snacks made by local artisans and avoid the pitfalls that lead to the chain’s failure." - Ashok Selvam
Absolutely love this place! The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The coffee is consistently delicious, and the breakfast tacos are amazing—packed with flavor and just the right size. It’s become my everyday go-to spot. Highly recommend

High quality coffee that is compatible to neighboring La Colombe (they get their beans from there). The staff is personable, kind and attentive, and the interior design of this grocery store/coffee shop provides a lovely place to spend time. Great asset to the neighborhood and Highly recommend

I love Foxtrot and love their patio, but y'all need to sweep the patio! It is full of garbage, dirt, and just gross. Also, I miss the dips/spreads to go with the crackers lol.

Super cool vibe. Close to a lot of prime locations. Their caramel latte is good. The worker who took our order is so helpful with choosing items on the menu. Wish they did a better job of keeping the restrooms clean.

Delicious coffee, tea, matcha, chai, friendly employees, delicious bites, and immaculate vibes. They also have a grocery section and proudly serve and sell local products. I'm a big fan of the matcha. Open Sun-Thurs 6 AM- 9 PM, Friday and Saturday 6 AM-10 PM.

Foxtrot deposited a $6 promotional credit into my account on February 28. Two weeks later, I attempted to use it, only to be told by staff that their gift card system still wasn’t configured. Their solution? “Email support.” Unacceptable. If you can’t honor a promotion, don’t issue it. This lack of operational readiness paired with unresolved issues from their prior business failure reeks of the same mismanagement. Save your time and money; steer clear until they demonstrate basic competence.

Come here often to study, many other people also use it for the same. It's a great place but the music is played a little too loud. The coffee is good, there's a small grocery selection of quality food. You can also get alcohol here.

Understaffed. I don't blame the workers for the service but more the people who schedule or lack of schedule workers. Can't shop here because there's like one worker for the whole store.
The employees are as nice as they can be but I feel so bad because they look stressed.
Long lines and old overpriced food.
Not really worth it.
