Foxtrot To Re-Open Two Dallas Locations in January 2025 | Eater Dallas

"This Dallas-area shop abruptly closed along with others across the U.S. in April 2024; Eater Chicago reported the company “seems to have run out of money after pursuing an ambitious and costly expansion” to open 50 new stores in two years, and that it faced multiple changes in leadership, merged with Chicago-based Dom’s Hospitality and ultimately filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. In May 2024 co-founders Mike LaVitola and Taylor Bloom paired with private equity and venture capital firm Further Point Enterprise to buy the company’s assets in liquidation, Eater Chicago reported; LaVitola told Eater Chicago the company planned to re-open 10 to 12 stores in Chicago and a couple in Dallas, saying those were its strongest markets. According to a release, several of the old favorites will return at the re-opening (the release cites the “popular gummies and gummy mixes”) along with fresh market offerings and items from small and local businesses. Its breakfast taco menu is being upgraded in collaboration with an unnamed “local artisan” to add three new options: borracho bean, brisket guisado, and grilled veggie tacos. The shop at 6565 Hillcrest Ave. is scheduled to swing back open in January 2025." - Courtney E. Smith

I got the cookie top latte. Vibes were great for a Sunday afternoon. Latte was great. Nothing crazy. Employees seemed a little annoyed and over it but other then that great little spot

Dear Foxtrot, I love you very much, but please pay attention to the quality of your coffee drinks. There is a lot of competition now, and you must get your cappuccinos, etc. right. I just got mine, and it was only dry foam and bitter coffee. Gone are the early days with professional baristas making dreamlike coffee drinks. Very disappointed.

My favorite place to study. Outlets everywhere, comfortable seating, great coffee. What more could you want? It’s also a little grocery store with fantastic options. Ideal for quick lunch meetings or coffee breaks. Perfect for studying. Not really a sit and read type of coffee shop but worth a stay if you have work to catch up on. It’s a little noisy though so bring headphones.

Fantastic vibes, near SMU, great coffee, beer on tap, fresh options for lunch/snacks. The service is great, also has WiFi and parking validation available.

Beautiful space, well lit. Awesome vegan, plant-based milk and latte cans to try! Love the Minor Figures brand of oat milk lattes here in the Grab and Go section. Friendly staff and Jesus the manager is quite helpful! Great place to study in a abundant fern-adorned modern space across from Snider Plaza.

Oat latte mostly has no coffee but only milk.

Food is subpar and not worth the price. Better off making your own burrito and coffee unless you need the Wi-Fi.
