Such a beautiful place with a great selection of ice cream, yum and delicious 🤤, I order the twist vanilla-chocolate and banana split, I was a little bit choked about the size of the ice cream 🍦, the banana split was so good with a really good and fresh strawberry and banana, the girls that are taking the orders is so beautiful, sweet and nice . Not the last one but the place is so beautiful you can enjoy the Fox river and an ice cream. Definitely recommend it to come and have a good experience.

Foxy’s Ice Cream is a Yorkville gem! Perfect spot for a sweet treat on a warm day. The portions are generous, the flavors are fun and nostalgic (definitely try the Blue Moon or a classic twist cone), and the sundaes are loaded with toppings. Service is always friendly, even when it gets busy—which it often does on summer evenings! The walk-up stand has a great location near the river, and the atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. Prices are super reasonable too. Definitely a must-visit if you’re downtown or just passing through. Support local and treat yourself—you won’t regret it!

We used Foxy's for our wedding and it was such a fun addition! The ice cream was delicious and our guests loved it! Robyn was great to work with and even gave us a free ice cream tasting to pick our favorite flavors.

Review for Foxy’s Ice Cream I had a quick and interesting experience at Foxy’s. Despite having five people ahead of me in line, my order was called out surprisingly fast—so fast I almost missed it! It caught me off guard because others who ordered before me were still waiting. I had two items, but only one came out initially. After sitting down and waiting a bit longer, I finally received the second part of my order. The service was definitely quick, but the timing felt a little disorganized. As for the ice cream itself, I suspect they might have changed providers—something about the flavor just didn’t taste the same as it did five years ago. It seems like the overall quality has dipped slightly. That said, their vanilla remains a classic staple that hasn’t lost its charm. My husband really enjoyed his chocolate peanut butter ice cream, so they’re still doing something right!

Cute little ice cream place. Lots of unique flavors, but I got the Fat Elvis Fat Elvis--a combination of banana, peanut butter, and chocolate. It was very tasty. Prices were reasonable comparatively. The location was nice as well with a park right next door. Also, they have little toys for kids to play with while they wait for their ice cream. My daughter really liked that.

Lots of options to select from. We tried the Zanzibar and Superman flavor, both tasted flavorful and fresh. There is a reason why place is always packed, wait time can be 20-25 mins if you visit during peak hour. I would highly recommend this place. Worth it. They have vegan options as well.

First time at this ice cream shop and I am incredibly impressed!!!! I've never had much of a sweet tooth, but now I eternally crave Foxy's in Yorkville. We visited for a special event where we got to fill up our Stanley cups with ice cream, which turned into a fantastic introduction to this lovely shop. I got the Fat Elvis ice cream which is banana with peanut butter and chocolate. Looking forward to coming back in the future :) My friends live nearby and they say one nice thing to do in the warm season is to pick up some ice cream from Foxy's and walk down the Fox River!

The perfect evening at Foxy’s. So good we did 2 rounds! First time swirl cone then a walk and pictures watching the river rapids and time at the riverfront park … Round 2 Strawberry Banana Flurry… so perfect! The kids played on the rocking horses and indulged on their ice cream. . Sweet perfect evening ❤️☀️

Great ice cream shop right along the river. They have large selection of ice cream flavors. All that I have tried are creamy and delicious. There are tables there to hang out and eat or your can walk across the parking lot to enjoy the river while eating your ice cream!

The ice cream is very flavorful and great price. They gave me a HUGE cone which was so good!! The staff were quick and friendly. The outside is super cute and inviting to hangout. Milkshake tasted super authentic and fresh!

When ever I visit my family, they always take me here for a sweet treat! As someone that can't have dairy. I appreciate they have alternatives like vegan ice cream, I ordered one with Oreos. They also have other food and drink options as well! The service has always been friendly! And such a cute outdoor space!

Foxy's Ice Cream is a great spot for families! The service is friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated how they had toys available to keep toddlers entertained while we waited. One of the standout treats is the Fat Elvis--a delicious combination of banana, peanut butter, and chocolate that's absolutely worth trying. Prices are very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy a sweet treat without breaking the bank. It is right next to the river and park which makes it great for walking up to get some ice cream and then spending some time outdoors. I don't think there is inside seating, but they did have picnic tables outside. We'll definitely be back!

We LOVE Foxy's!!! They have the most amazing flavors and the girls that work there are as sweet as the treats! Their root beer float ice cream was a creamy vanilla with ribbons of root beer.....popsicle? It was delectable!! I had a small hot fudge sundae and the ratio of ice cream to fudge to whipped cream and nuts was perfect! Situated right on the Fox River by a park, it's the perfect place a sweet snack.

My family loves Foxy's! Great ice cream and nice variety of flavors. The location is perfect for grabbing ice cream and walking by the river.

I am a vegan queen and the ice cream sandwich just didn't tickle my pickle right. It took forever to come out I was waiting for over 30 minutes. The outdoor seating was bad the view of river was rather gross.

Foxys is excellent, Unique flavors like Fat Elvis & Kitty Bang Bang, both are quality. Can't go wrong with the Strawberry either. Haven't tried most of the others b/c those 3 make decisions hard enough. Owner & employees are top notch. I have to give 5/5. Best IC in town & around hands down.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and went to Foxy's Ice Cream. Very nice location right next to the Fox River. You can walk down the path and enjoy the views while eating your ice cream. The ice cream was decent but nothing special. I was neither blown away or disappointed by the quality or taste. The one thing I did notice was that the cost of almost $20 for two Sundaes is very high relative to other ice cream shops. Factoring the average quality and taste of the ice cream, we're more likely to try other places before going back regularly. The location will likely lure us once a year but I don't see us making this a regular stop.

Great ice cream and enough flavors and choices to keep a person in ice creams for the months in summer. Big fan of the Butter Beer here!

Lovely location and nothing beats summer vibes and ice cream. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again. It's not Generic fast food pricing so support local and you'll have to pay a bit more but it's well worth it. Really like the area and this is a fine spot to enjoy a cold treat during a warm day right by the water.

Stopped by here after visiting silver springs & tried their Harry Potter Butterbeer Float, I was not a fan. I've had butterbeer but i don't know what this was lol. It wasn't great. We also tried a salt caramel scoop & that was good ! The best thing we had was the banana cream pie scoop ! I would come back 100000000 times for the banana cream pie ice cream. Yum! Exterior super cute & vibrant. Staff is friendly & fast. Parking lot for convenience of parking & right next to the river walk so you can enjoy your sweets with a walk & view!

I got a double of the peanut butter chocolate sundae with no whipped cream or cherry and substituting peanut butter cup ice cream for the traditional Zanzibar chocolate ice cream. It was delicious! Would absolutely recommend stopping by when you're in Yorkville! There's a really nice area to walk after you get your ice cream!

Foxy's ice cream is so good! It's definitely the place to go if you want a good treat by the river. All I want to say is definitely do not get their iced coffee or their grandma's brownie. The iced coffee was the worst thing I have ever had in my life. It tasted like old milk with coffee that has been sitting for days. The Grandma's brownie was very dry, I didn't mind the flavor, but you have to get it on a really good day. If you wanna have ice cream, foxy is the place to go, but for anything else it's not the best.

Foxy's is my go-to treat spot in Yorkville. The ice cream is delicious- smooth and creamy. Their sundae combinations are amazing. Dirt and worms, anyone? Foxy's can get busy on hot summer nights but I think it's worth the wait, especially when you can stroll along the Fox once you've been served. Treat yo self!

Ice cream heaven! Definitely stop here on a nice day! There's plenty of seating, and the location along the river is wonderful. Think high milk fat deliciousness... Definitely the best ice cream around. The peanut butter passion is amazing- chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cups, peanut butter sauce and whipped cream. Of note, the ordering process is odd- you order through a screen door. The staff isn't the friendliest...but the ice cream is enough for me to overlook that!

They have the absolute best ice cream. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter! My husband loves the fat Elvis! You must go here when you are in Yorkville!

During the 90° day over this summer I was really looking forward to a milkshake after work and when I went there they wanted $7 for a milkshake!!

Great ice cream shop right on the river in Yorkville. The parfaits are spectacular. My favorite is the waffle cones. Will always go back and try different flavors. Great location and great treats for the whole family

While I'm never startled to find top notch ice cream in odd places, the product here is well above the mark. Unless your a local, Foxy's might be easily missed. I'm here to tell you to find it. It's ducked onto a side street that's likely frequented by Fox River enthusiasts that travel the area to kayak, canoe and/or fish. There's a small walk in area with a pair of indoor tables and several tables outside in their pavilion. The menu is a mix of ice cream products, mostly specialized ice cream flavors and sundaes. If I'm not mistaken they also had a couple of Italian Ices and a handful of other food products (hot dogs, etc). I was here for the ice cream and had 15 exotic choices to pick from. While I'm an easy sucker for sea salt caramel two other concoctions caught my eye as 'must tries"..the "Heaps of Love" and "Fat Elvis". "Heaps" is vanilla based with Oreo's, brownies, cookie dough, pecans, chocolate and caramel ripples. "Elvis" is banana flavored ice cream with salty peanut butter ripple and chocolate chips. Both are flippin outstanding! The key to making good 'concoction' ice cream like Heaps and Elvis are to NOT flood the key ice cream with the included items. The owner has done a perfect job of blending just the right amount of each ingredient in. This helps each ingredient to sharply stick out when you get a taste of it. In summary, I ordered the Heaps and an ice cream sandwich for my son, then we went to look at the Fox River white water kayaking shoots. While looking at them my son reasoned that we needed to go back and get another cone and ice cream sandwich. Who was I to argue? Went back and grabbed the Elvis for good measure, and was given a a tasters sample of the sea salt caramel while I waited. Also an excellent choice. I doubt if Foxy's makes anything below the mark of amazing. We'll easily be making the twenty mile trip back for refills! Cheers!

What took me so long to try Foxy's? I had a delicious chocolate malt on my first visit. Too thick for a straw at the start. I love using a spoon to enjoy a malt. Last quarter was straw material after I stirred it up. I look forward to trying the black cherry soon. Fall hours are coming, they close a dusk.

Love having them at the river front, fun taking my dogs for a treat too! Great staff and icecream

Super awesome, small hometown place to visit. Its right on the river with some pretty solid views. Friendly staff that makes the experience enjoyable & very warm. Recommend to bring your dog down to this place if you can, they have accommodating treats & water for your little buddy. Ice cream is delicious! Not like anywhere else! I love these guys & will always continue to be my go to for some hometown love in terms of ice cream!

Such a fun and new family tradition started this past summer to ride our bikes down there, play at the park, kayak and get Foxy's ice cream! We all love it! I really fell in love with this business when they appeared at my grandson's back to school registration in their food truck! Excellent local business with perfect ice cream and treats!

This is was a fun find! Yorkville now has a great walk-up spot with gourmet flavors. We have tried many favors including Watermelon Ice and Cherry Amaretto Fudge which were delicious. My favorite is Mint Avalanche which is a decadent version of mint chocolate chip. The ice cream is made with quality ingredients and worth every penny. It is rich and very flavorful. This place also has a great location right next to the river, so grab your ice cream and pick a bench along the river to relax and enjoy watching the kayakers and wild life along the river.

This place is awesome! Saw it while we were out for a Sunday drive, and we had to stop - because duh, ice cream. I had a scoop of Fat Elvis, which is banana ice cream with chocolate chips and a peanut butter swirl. This ice cream is EVERYTHING. Seriously, so amazing. Typing about it right now is making me salivate. My boyfriend had the Mint Avalanche, which is mint ice cream with chocolate chips and two types of mint chocolate cookies. As a connoisseur of all things mint chocolate, he says this was the best mint chocolate ice cream he ever had. We actually almost stopped off on our way back to get a second helping, but decided against being gluttons. (I wish we weren't so responsible and had gotten more ice cream.) They do have pints to go.... Next time! Also, the women that work here are SO nice. What a great place. I love you, Foxy's.

I've had the good fortune of gorging on White Water Ice Cream's delicious treats many-a-time! All their options are deliciously creamy, with creative and seasonal favorites. I just tried 'Heaps of Love', which contains every ingredient one would want in ice cream...or life itself! My very favorite summer flavor is 'Key Lime Pie'. You'll never go back to pie once you've tried it in ice cream form! The shop itself is quaint, brightly colored, with a great location right by the river--a fun summer outing in you're venturing near the Yorkville area. Highly recommended! Yum!

Super cute ice cream place right by the fox river and the new park! My kids loved it! I wasn't planning on going there, but we couldn't resist after seeing it while we were at the park. Prices were decent and the ice cream was great! We will be coming back and trying the floats!

This is a cute place. Perfect for those warm summer evenings. They have many "different" flavors, I tried the Cotton Candy ice cream and it was delicious. I think the portions are just right for the price and we will definitely be going back. My only complaint is the service. It wasn't really that busy when we got there, and it seemed like there were only 2 girls working. At one point the girl at the window told customers to wait and walked away to help the other one catch up on everyone else's orders. Seemed very inefficient. Oh and the table we sat at was sticky and gross.

I had high hopes, but the best I can rate this place is 2 stars. Extremely slow service. 15 minute wait for a chocolate ice cream sundae & a scoop of ice cream with sprinkles. It wasn't even a busy time... there was only 1 small order ahead of us! The prices are fair but not worth the drive or wait. It was sticky... the counters, the ground, the tables. With the summer heat & bees one would hope it would have a cleaner environment. Very limited seating inside so if you're looking to eat your treats in a cool place be prepared to take it home or sweat outside.
