F.P.Journe Le Restaurant

Exquisite. I had the lunch set menu and every course was delicious - full of complex flavours, from bright and fresh to umami. I was a non-French speaking solo traveller dining alone, the service was excellent and I felt very taken care of. The restaurant was full for good reason, so do make a reservation. Highly recommended.

I had booked F.P. Journe for dinner last night as someone interested in both watches and cuisine. Having read the review, I was extremely excited for my visit. Unfortunately, the meal and service left a few things to be desired. This was just my experience, and unfortunately, one too many things to overlook as I usually do not write reviews, good or bad. 1) My water was initially poured, and then never refilled again for the remainder of the meal. Solo diner, multiple waiters looking to see if I’m okay, and not once was my glass refilled when empty. 2) The fish/caviar course was originally presented one way (with the fish above the foam and caviar sitting on top), but was set down awkwardly and the dish fell over. Waiter went to get a new plate, which is totally okay. However, the dish was then presented entirely differently visually. The fish was now sitting below the foam. Was this dish remade, or did they simply “fix” my existing dish. 4) The bread course was brought to my table was I was in the restroom. Again, not a huge deal but I’m solo and it would’ve been easy to wait 60 seconds till I sat back down and it could have been presented to me. Dominique is serving up some delicious food, but unfortunately for me personally, much was left to be desired on the service side of things. I did not feel the efficiency and seamlessness of service that usually occurs at this level. I think at the price point, these are little things that shouldn’t happen.

Lunch service was amazing. The service team were attentive and restaurant had a great atmosphere to go with the theme of watches. The food was excellent. Our favourite dish was the signature scampi dish. Very enjoyable lunch. Thank you to Dominique Gauthier and the team at F.P. Journe Le Restaurant.

Freshest of ingredients, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Everyone from the chef to the wait staff is amazing. They are also vegetarian and vegan friendly with a lot of thought put into preparing the special dishes. Definitely a must try if you are in Geneva

Been here with friends in the middle of February. Remarkable restaurant! Very good atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, thank you! Nicely presented very good food. We had three course lunch menu with a glass of white (our choice). The starter - outstanding. The main course and the desert - very good, thank you chef! Would come back again when in Geneva.

Congratulations to Le Restaurant Journe on their Michelin Star! My lunch visit from Montreal was unforgettable. Pascal Brault's team provided excellent service, and Dominique Gauthier's culinary creations were delicious. The wine and food pairings were perfect, and the Château Seguin FP Journe edition is a must-try for Bordeaux lovers. The history of mechanics in the cutlery and watchmakers' names on the tables added a unique touch. I've recommended this place to all my friends and fellow watch collectors. An exceptional dining experience that perfectly complemented my visit to the FP Journe boutique.

A place where watch enthusiasts as well as food lovers meet. Amazing, efficient and attentive staff with some beautiful watches ; ) The Lunch menu is a great value proposition and a culinary delight. Definitely worth a visit!
