For my final evening in Italy, I chose to dine at Frades Porto Cervo - Milano, a Sardinian gem that proved a sublime farewell. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere enveloped me—the gentle music, warm lighting, and elegant decor created a setting both refined and inviting. The service was impeccable: gracious, attentive, and sincere. I opted for the land-based tasting menu, laced generously with freshly shaved truffles—each course a delicate, earthy revelation. The flavours were vibrant yet balanced, capturing the soul of Sardinian cuisine with finesse and flair. As I savoured the last bite, a thought took root: I must go to Sardinia. This meal didn’t just satisfy—it inspired. A perfect, poetic end to an unforgettable journey.

We were recommended to dine at Frades during our visit to Milan. From beginning to end, our experience was amazing. Mike was our waiter and greeted us pleasantly. He was highly informative and personable and gave us the history of Sardinian cuisine. He also made great wine recommendations. The cheese and meat board came with honey, jam, and 3 selections of meat and cheese ; all were exquisite! For dinner, I chose from the 'Of the Sea' menu, and my husband chose 'Of the land' menu. It was incredible! Everything presented to us was visually pleasing as well as delicious. We will definitely visit again to dine on our next stay in Milan.

Such a beautiful place with very friendly staff. The food is incredible. It's a fancy restaurant and definitely worth the price. I've fallen in love with the baccala with black garlic sauce and spinach. Also the tacos with shrimp and red shrimp were very good. The mullet sandwich is also very interesting to try! Definitely will come back.

Perfect place in a heart of Milano. Here we’ve tried the best dish in our life: artichokes with fua gra and langoustines. Chef surprised us by a lot of compliments. Services found an individual approach for a client. Thank you!

The atmosphere is very nice, and the service is also very good. They have a wide selection of fine wines. However, I wasn’t completely convinced by the food. Maybe I chose the wrong dishes, but the artichokes stuffed with meat were rather bland. The first course—a serving of meat-filled ravioli in a citrus sauce—was not cooked well (some pieces were harder than others) and the overall taste of the sauce was too acidic for my liking. The main course (pork belly) was okay, but not particularly memorable. The dessert was also average. A pleasant surprise, however, was the excellent wine recommendation from the staff.

Amazing food and service. We were very well looked after by the staff from the moment we walked in. Every course was spot on. Not overly contrived, just fantastic ingredients cooked beautifully. Could not fault.
