Frades Porto Cervo - Milano

As red prawns and Sardinian food lovers, we specifically booked this restaurant for our first dinner in this four days Milan family trip. The red prawn dish was absolutely delicious. We also ordered sea urchins pasta, lambs, pork, all were amazing. The interior of the restaurant is detailed with elegant Sardinian styles and elements, modern and smart casual. The service was also very professional with personal touch made us feel very welcomed. We would definitely love to go back again.

Frades Porto Cuervo is not your typical Milan restaurant. It offers a menu inspired by the heart of Sardinia, and every dollar spent is worth it. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds.

We made a reservation a few days before coming, the music was a bit loud, the service was great really attentive for our dietary intolerance/issues, have great recommendations due to these problematic dietary restrictions, a variety of different wines (local and foreign), great Sardinian beer, there are 3 types of menus (fixed fish menu, fixed meat menu and a regular menu), the seafood soup was really surprising (highly recommend it) and the lamb was amazing.

We were recommended to dine at Frades during our visit to Milan. From beginning to end, our experience was amazing. Mike was our waiter and greeted us pleasantly. He was highly informative and personable and gave us the history of Sardinian cuisine. He also made great wine recommendations. The cheese and meat board came with honey, jam, and 3 selections of meat and cheese ; all were exquisite! For dinner, I chose from the 'Of the Sea' menu, and my husband chose 'Of the land' menu. It was incredible! Everything presented to us was visually pleasing as well as delicious. We will definitely visit again to dine on our next stay in Milan.

Amazing interior and a fantastic atmosphere! The chefs and waiters are not only professional but also incredibly friendly and full of positive energy. The food was delicious, and the whole experience was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful place with very friendly staff. The food is incredible. It's a fancy restaurant and definitely worth the price. I've fallen in love with the baccala with black garlic sauce and spinach. Also the tacos with shrimp and red shrimp were very good. The mullet sandwich is also very interesting to try! Definitely will come back.

This restaurant was amazing! My husband and I both ordered the land tasting menu. And they were very willing to make minor accommodations due to me being pregnant. The waiters helped my husband, who knows very well what type of wine he likes but does not know Sardinian wine as well, choose the perfect wines to his liking and to pair with our food. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Wonderful restaurant with only Sardinian food and wine. Warm and exclusive ambience, very interesting menu with impeccable dishes and very attentive and friendly service. Warm recommendations for the potato soup, especially with fresh truffle on top.
