It’s 12:16am. I’m here at Frances and the establishment is not open, but it says the establishment is supposedly open until 3am. Waste of time, energy, and money to travel to be a patron to a black owned company just for them to disappoint. Could’ve at least made it public that you would be close. It’s easy to change the time on google too.

It's a place where you can have a good drink and a good time with comdey and other entertainment, don't be fooled by the area, it's a great area Chatham a place where you can have a fun.

If you want to have a good time in an appt environment; go here. As mentioned by others the comedy on Mondays is great.

My first time visiting tonight d/t a homegoing of my adopted mom Mrs Lindsey. The placed was packed!! Place was crowded . The bartenders were on point and the wait time for a drink was amazing. Kudos ladies!!!!

Nice local spot with outdoor tentspace, good crowd and drinks.

Its a Very cool spot to hang out. Good atmosphere, drink service could/should be a bit better. But overall , Marlon runs a pretty tight ship ! Love supporting my people !

Cozy little dive bar for old heads & OGs. If you are lookin for a poppin spot this aint it, but the vibes are there & the staff is pleasant. I would come here for drinks & nothing else. No tvs, hookahs etc but there is a small patio where you can smoke out back. You've been warned!

I'm a huge fan of stand-up comedy and in a bolder more obnoxious life, I actually think I can pull it off. In the meantime, I'll just keep absorbing as much of it as I can via Netflix and most recently, Frances Lounge! A few weeks back, a friend told me that Frances hosted an open mic/comedy night every Monday featuring local comedians who had been featured on national comedy shows/radio stations and more, would be there, so I had to check it out. And I was not disappointed. I hadn't laughed so hard at a local show since the "All Jokes Aside" days back in the early 90's. Just Nesh, Zach Boog, Kenny Howell, Tony Woods and others lit up the stage and had us patrons rolling until close. If you're a South Sider and looking for REAL laughs, real drinks and real folks on a Monday night, you can't do better than Frances Lounge.

Great nite spot, family owned and in business for 45 yrs. Stop in have a drink and watch the Bulls, Bears and White Sox games.

A great place to hang with friends. Music, on point!
