I would have to say this place was excellent all the way around, especially the service they were so kind and always always asked if I needed anything or if I was good. That's what I love about a restaurant. I ordered the Al special. Had one of everything almost. Super delicious. Thank you for having excellent service and food. I will definitely be back to try other food here. To the staff and cooks, thank you very much for me having excellent experience here that is truly wonderful. Words can't describe how you feel when you have excellent food and excellent service.

Love this little place! The staff is always friendly and nice and very awesome! Love it . The green chili fries is always good and love their food . Plenty of parking in this plaza.! Open chili burger was on point and my cheese burger was great! We love it . The chips and salsa was good and salsa a bit spicy but great!!

It was a great experience! Went there during lunch hour. No wait no rush. Greeted us when we got there. Even greeted us in my language. (Navajo) That was nice. Made sure our food came out good, our drinks were filled & checked on us periodically. Overall great experience! Ordered the 3 hard tacos & that was delicious! Can't wait to try everything else on the menu!🥰🥰

I've been going to this place for years but the last few months the food as been left wanting. I was absolutely disappointed when I saw my to-go order. When I inquired why it was so unappetizing, I was told by the server "Hey, I'm not the cook nor am I the owner." Definitely wouldn't recommend this experience for anyone. Try again.

Everything about this place!! From the iced tea, chips & salsa to the Navajo Taco with ground beef & sopapillas- SO DELICIOUS! Whether you live here or passing through, STOP, you will not be disappointed.

To be fair I came here for the ebt food Program. They have us spaghetti and our was not very good in fact nobody ate it. Stick to Mexican food..... because Italian ain't there groove. But they were all awesome people!!!! Very helpful and fast no questions asked!

I was very pleasantly surprised visiting this place after years of not stopping in. I have a very affordable daily special on the board every day. They have a very tasty salsa! It was a nice surprise to find that they have chicharrones on the menu! I highly recommend sharing a bowl with your group.

They have really good food with just the right amount of spicy. If you dont or can't do spicy, I recommend their burger. Its one of the better ones in towm.

Honestly a good hole in the wall, with a friendly wait staff. Came for lunch and ordered the fry bread burger. The fry bread was perfectly cooked and overall was a good burger. Fries were not good basic with no seasoning. Biggest flaw is it was pricey!! Dinner prices at a lunch place. Expect to spend over 80 bucks for lunch for a family of 4.

Service - A+ Nice people work here. What would we order again? * Guacamole * Salsa - I thought this salsa was perfectly spicy. Not so hot you had to stop eating or couldn't taste your food, but just enough kick to feel it. * Tacos Entree - Three tacos (I ordered chicken) with rice and beans. The tacos didn't need any salsa on them. They were delicious as is. * Flautas Entree - My boyfriend loved these! * Sopapillas with honey. Good Lord these are so tasty!

Dont let the strip mall location fool you. This is a legit mexican food place. I ordered their indian fry bread taco with beef and half red sauce and half green sauce. It was amazing. Service was great and the place was spotless. I would return.

Great food and service. Never had to ask for refills on drinks. Fry bread burger and stuffed sopapilla were tasty. We'd come back again.

10/10 would absolutely come back next time I am in the area. I had the Als combo and it hit all the notes. You have to try Christmas style. Keep up the great good!

We were looking for some authentic Northern New Mexican food (red & green chile, posole, etc.) This place definitely has it! We shared a Navajo Taco - Christmas (red & green chile.) The chile's are so great! The taco was delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. It's a small, neighborhood place. We will be back and order more things from the menu. Oh - and the salsa was fresh and delicious.

The food was disappointing. I ordered a stuffed sopaipilla and it was very dense and heavy, as opposed to light and fluffy. I also ordered a desert sopaipilla, which was dense and heavy as well. I may return, but I won't order those dishes again. The service was fine and the ambiance pleasant.

My first time there. My wife had the chilli reano (spelled wrong I know) platter and I had the Navajo Taco. Very good. It's a small restaurant but the ambiance is good. The staff are very friendly. Francisca's is one of the better Mexican restaurants I've visited at any time. I highly recommend it!!

Love the tacos here. I just can get enough of them. Shells are crispy but tender. The seasoning of the beef could have been more for my taste buds. Service was great and the place is small and unassuming. The beans were great as well.

Located in a residential neighborhood. Definitely one of the better Chile Relleno I've tasted. The only complaint is the rice was a little to skimpy.

Just some genuinely delicious New Mexican cuisine. The place is unassuming, in a residential area, and really easy to miss. However, it is SO worth stopping by if you're craving sopapilla like I was. Their sopapilla is warm and fluffy, and comes with local honey on the side. There is quite literally nothing better than a warm sopapilla with honey. For my entree, I got the Navajo taco with chicken. It's just a bunch of delicious food on top of an even more delicious, warm piece of frybread. If you're craving some New Mexican food, you gotta come here!!!

We like to come to New Mexico whenever we can. Farmington New Mexico was a nice drive from where we are staying in Durango, CO, so we can try some Chili Rellenos. Francisca's had some good reviews so we decided to give them a try. It's a small restaurant in a older strip mall. When you walk in it has numerous tables and signs and decorations throughout. We were great by a very friendly young man and he happily accommodated my request to be seated away from others. The first order of chips and salsa are free. We both order Francisca's combination. 2 ground beef enchiladas, 1 ground beef taco, a chili relleno, beans and rice. All the food was very good. The taco shell was cooked the way I like it, crisp but still pliable enough to hold its contents. Fresh lettuce and tomato. The ground beef was especially delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. Not an over powering seasoning but nicely done. That ground beef was the same in our enchiladas. Again delicious. We had it Christmas (red and green sauce.) The chili relleno was also very flavorful. Nice light crust, not oily. Good size pepper and the cheese just flowed out when I took that first bite. The beans and rice where good, and I'm not much on either, but I ate mine. The prices are very reasonable. Not cheap but very affordable. We both would recommend this place. I used to love this place but it has gone down hill. The establishment refuses to update their online presence and menu prices. Every time we go in there, prices increase and there is no mention of totals on the phone prior to pickup. Today we ordered a regular queso that is almost $12 after taxes and received a cup that's not even full. When I called to clarify the prices I was greeted with snide remarks about me being able to maybe help them with their website. It's been poor customer service and we will not be back.

Look, I live three blocks away and been ordering in or carryout for 7 years. The owner is a solid person that cares about the business and reputation. The help...is awful. Order on a night he is not there (carryout) and you will get screwed. On top of that, when calling to complain about portion size and charges, the help REFUSED to take my number to have owner call back. Said they were "too busy and it was my responsibility"

Went to try the Navajo Taco....that is one serious meal! I could not come close...salsa and chips are delicious. It is hearty and I recommend both the green and red Chile sauces. To start they serve Very thin chips with an amazing homemade salsa They only serve Pepsi products and Ice Tea as an FYI. UBER CASUAL.

Eh, it was okay. Definitely not worth any hype. They charge for chips and salsa that were only okay. My chimichanga was just a burrito and final prices were more than what was on the menu. Plan on about $15+ a plate for only okay Mexican food. It wasn't bad, it was an expensive, "eh." Our waiter was great at keeping our cups full though!

Carne adovada sopa was really flavorful. Husband got sopaipilla burger with green chile. The sopa was definitely the winner.

My family and I visited Francisca's as we traveled through the area. I found it through Yelp reviews and...we still talk about it years later! We ordered a lot of food and enjoyed it all. It's not a big place and we went at lunch. The service was super and we may have amused them by how much we ordered! You won't be disappointed.

Hole in the wall GEM! Excellent service and food. Super busy but we were seated quickly and our food arrived quickly too. Hubby had a carne asada burrito with guacamole inside, and said it was the best he's ever had. Meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. I had the huevos rancheros and every part of it was tasty! Spicy, fresh salsa. Fantastic lunch all the way around.

This place is a hidden gem. We would not have found it had it not been for a recommendation from our server at another restaurant the night before. Their Chile Rellenos were some of the best I've had! Give is a try!

Had the #3 beef burrito,it was served as a very large burrito and it was good! Good service and the food came out to me pretty quick. This is a good decent place to eat, I think you'll enjoy it too

Visited Chaco Canyon and stayed in Farmington, New Mexico. Francisca's reviews on Yelp were great so gave it a try. WOW! Tiny spot in a shopping center but do not miss it. Service was great! Lots of locals and I love seeing that. My chimichanga was the best I have ever eaten and I spend time in Mexico and am a SoCal resident. The tortillas are hand made and tender and the beef was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The green sauce had a light heat that didn't detract from the flavor. The fry bread burger was epic. This restaurant is about delicious food and they are few and far between. Wish I lived closer.

I hate to ding this place, but frankly, I have had better chile rellenos. Save your chile relleno eating for someplace else and order something different if you go here.

so we were there yesterday around noonish and the food there was amazing our hats off to the cook. our female waitress Fran was so sweet and attentive. She was running around, helping everyone as they were busy busy. as for our male waiter, we did not get his name. We were shocked to see him constantly sitting down being talkative at almost all the tables, and if he wasn't sitting at a table, he was sitting on his phone. it broke our hearts to see how harshly he talk to the female server. we did not leave a tip because we felt that we did not want to reward his lack of service. and as we cashed out, he was extremely rude to us due to us, not leaving a tip. Needless to say if we see his face there, we will not be eating there again.

Small restaurant with really good Northern New Mexico, super fast service, I had the stuffed sopapillia, with carne asada and green chile. Has around 10 tables, with Mexican and Native American art. The waiter was fast and attentive I will be back.

This place is legit. From out of town and stopped in for dinner. Don't be fooled by the strip center it is located in. The food is excellent Service was like you put your feet under their own dinner table at home. Will return on next business trip for sure.

Love their huevos rancheros for breakfast, the green chili is good. However, the red chili is in season right now, and it is thick and rich and delicious. I would recommend them.

Quiet location in a strip mall in a residetial neighborhood. Had heard good things. Ordered chips & salsa ($2), good salsa, stale chips. The carne adovada burrito with red chili was very good. The carne was good and the red sauce was great. Late lunchtime , a couple tag team served me. Looks like a family run business.

The food is always delicious here. The service is excellent. A small restaurant that will pay attention to you, your drink levels, and ask if you need anything else. We never feel forgotten when we eat here.

This gem came highly recommended by a local. Francisca's did not disappoint. That was by far the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. I got Francisca's Combo. And every item had incredible burst of flavor. The service was quick and attentive without being annoying. Definitely will be back, when I visit next time.

Great mom and pop place in a neighborhood off the beaten track. Plenty of locals. Had a great taco salad and chicken enchiladas, plus a sopapila. Everyone was hustling and doing their best.

Passing through on a road trip and popped into Francisca's for dinner. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home and the food was absolutely delicious! Just wish I lived closer so I could eat here regularly

Fabulous NM cuisine! We stopped in for lunch, and it was fabulous! Felix and Francine were lovely. My husband had Al's combo, and I had the green chile. You should definitely stop in.

Best Mexican food in Farmington hands down! The enchiladas and tacos special (plus two sopapillas) will feed two in our house. The unassuming location might be overlooked, but is easily accessible and the (currently takeout only) service is always fast and friendly. Rated #1 on Yelp for best Navajo Taco in Farmington. I would whole heartedly agree. But have to say the chile relleno was even better. I love green sauce and am picky about my sauces therefore usually stick with green. But their red sauce has a true chili flavor! And it was my favorite. The coating was thin but flavorful and not over cooked! The Navajo taco was yummy. The beans were definitely homemade. Got it with red and green. I will be back before returning back home. Yummmmm. The service from Felix and Francine was impeccable. Even tho we were from out of town they treated us like we come here the time. Service was fast. And they kept my tea refilled. Highly recommend eating here.

The reason my wife and I ate here is because of the Yelp reviews. I would like to share our experience at Francisca's from yesterday. Lisa had vegetable fajitas. The fajitas were too oily to eat. Also, the chips were stale. At checkout when I gave feedback the person at the register, who also took and served our order, said her would tell the cook. Keep in mind the food was not edible but they wanted to be paid anyway. For me, I had chicken enchiladas. The tasted fine except for the over salting. Plus they were luke warm. The enchiladas and other food took over five minutes to get to our table after preparation because the person who took our order was pulling triple duty - cashier, waiter taking our order, and waiter serving our order. This was a bizarre situation. The woman bringing our drinks and chips would not deliver our entrees after they were ready. She only did the basic drink, chips, and cleaning tables. I asked her if that was our food waiting to be served and she said yes. But she would not serve the food. These great reviews I saw about Francisca's must have been for another restaurant. I doubt many of the high praise reviews are legitimate. This is not at all a quality restaurant based on our experience.

Looks like they used to have pretty decent prices, but they increased the prices of everything this week - without updating their menu on Facebook or Yelp. I was pretty disappointed when I ordered a combo that should have been $15 and ended up paying $18 plus tax and tip. They didn't even give me a heads-up about the change over the phone, they don't provide an itemized receipt, and they closed right after my food was picked up, so I had to contact them through Facebook messenger to even figure out what was going on. The portions were pretty small, even for $15, for $18 I would have expected larger enchiladas and more rice and beans. Everything was smushed together in one styrofoam take-out container, making it hard to tell what was what and leading to the taco shell getting soggy. The flavors were okay, but nothing incredible - the tamale and enchiladas were better than the taco. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be ordering from them again.

Everyone was super nice. The food was great, especially the salsa. Being that I am from a different state and I was staying in a hotel, I was very pleased to see that they including utensils and napkins. I will definitely return if I ever visit NM again.

The Best!! We were spending the night while passing through Farmington and didn't want to go out to eat. We found Francisca's on Yelp and decided to order take out. We ordered a Frank's burrito and chimichanga, Best decision ever! Wish I had asked for a jar of their salsa! Don't pass up a chance to eat here. A mom and pop establishment and deserve our support.
