Franco Manca Victoria

We had a weekend break in London, and we just had a trip in Buckingham palace. When my family got hungry Franco Manca was a top recommended choice on Google maps with only a 5 min walking distance from where we were. A lovely, welcoming hostess gave us a wonderful table outside. It was thoughtful of her to do so as the weather outside was great, and the shade on the terrace gave us comfort in the heat. With plenty of choice, everyone chose something widely different, and all of it was absolutely delicious!!! Very refreshing Homemade lemonade for kids, Aperol Spritz for my wife and No Logo Craft beer for me. Not only was the food amazing but also the staff who were just so kind! Highly recommended for family breaks

A long, narrow restaurant area with simple decor, edged by a high glass front & the open kitchen area at the back. It was very quiet at the time of our visit (~5pm on a Bank holiday Monday) with about 6 other people present. Small tables fill the area, with chalkboards listing specials & bottles of limoncello & other spirits decorating the walls. The staff were friendly & helpful, describing the food on offer. Only bottled beers were available as the beer tap was out of order. A list of about 12 pizzas were offered on the menu with a diverse range of tastes and flavours. We could see the pizzas being prepared & baked in the kitchen's pizza oven. They were excellent & all diners were really happy with them. There was a 12.5% service charge automatically applied, taking a £64 bill for four pizzas & two 330ml bottles of drink to £72, which I always prefer to be purely my choice. The venue is on the ground floor with no steps. Overall, the staff were polite, the food was really good if a bit pricey.

This restaurant is a true pizza haven! We tried their special pizzas, and they both looked and tasted like authentic Italian pizza. The flavors were spot on, with fresh ingredients and perfect crust. I highly recommend it to anyone craving a real Italian pizza experience!

Atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Frankie our server helped us with allergies and was very present and approachable. Food was too notch too, very tasty, delivered very quickly. Highly recommend this place!

Great place with pizza that never disappoints! Ella was very helpful and nice, and so was Erica. Chill and nice atmosphere even if it’s in a busy area.

I went back to Franco Manca in Victoria after a few months, and I can confirm that their pizza is still one of the best in London: amazing dough, top-quality ingredients, and truly authentic flavours. The service is, as always, warm, attentive, and very professional. A special thank you to Giuseppe, who guided us perfectly today in choosing our pizzas and desserts. Highly recommended! 🍕✨

We had a birthday meal at Franco Manca last night and it was fantastic. Firstly we'd booked for too few and they accommodated us very kindly, food was fast and delicious and our waiter was extremely attentive. I also asked (last minute) for a Tiramisu with a candle in for the birthday host and it was catered for no questions asked. The whole restaurant sang with us, and we were given free limoncello shots for the table (11 of us), and an additional free tiramisu. Was such a fun evening and we felt so welcome. Thank you!!

We turned up as a table of 8 on a Saturday night without booking, absolutely crazy right! Unplanned pizza experience but we were welcomed in and we began our night. We had Maz as our host who was so welcoming and handled our every need with experience and grace. Maz took our order, had the perfect amount of conversation with us and was super quick to bring out everything we needed. The pizzas were a win all round, absolutely incredible food as always and will 100% be returning. Thank you Maz!

They were able to squeeze in a group of 8 pretty quickly. The food was nice Italian meals, and everyone had a good time. It wasn't super fancy, but it was a step up from casual dining.

Ordered this twice. Both times it arrived semi cold/warm. Second time the delivery guy pulled it out of the bag sideways and when I got it upstairs half the pizza was folded over. And cold. Otherwise, I think it's delicious and that's why I ordered it twice. They are also very speedy with delivery. So it really doesn't make sense that it's cold but that's what happened. Their prices are reasonable.

Delicious pizza and wonderful staff. It was busy on a Friday night, but we were able to get a table at 1915 before it was completely full. Everything we ordered was wonderful and everything was super fresh. Love that you can see the kitchen and the pizza oven. Staff (especially Chiara) was amazing and really helpful with recommendations.

I had the number four, with house-made mozzarella and ricotta, sweet ham, and just a touch of red sauce in the middle. The house cider was described as medium dry on the menu, and that was accurate. It was too dry to my liking, but still drinkable. My husband had a seasonal special with British meat, including Yorkshire Dales sausage. He thought it was good but he prefers a different, thicker kind of crust. I actually loved the crust because a could taste the complexity from its slow ferment and I didn't mind using a fork and knife where it was thin in the middle. Service was so-so. The place was really busy. Our table for four ended up with another couple stuck at the end, which felt weird with their close proximity. Our server for some reason paid them more attention than us; we were kept wanting for drinks and felt invisible when we needed the check. I hadn't been aware that this was a chain and we kept seeing them around the UK after out visit here, and we never felt the urge to visit another location.

We got the tomato, mozzarella & basil pizza. It was delicious. More amazing was that my kids, my son especially, couldn't get enough! Had to order another pizza for them to share. The baked spicy lamb sausage with potatoes was also good. It IS spicy! The organic lemonade made from Sicilian lemons was very refreshing and tasty.

I'm so glad we came here instead of the soulless Jamie's Italian down the street or any of the fast food restaurants in Victoria Station! Franco Manca serve proper Italian pizzas on sourdough bases, and they are really yummy! The flavour seems authentic to Italy but with a local London tinge to it. The tiramisu is also gorgeous and is not to be missed post-pizza! The service was very fast. I suppose it is quite a small restaurant (probably about 75 seats) so they don't have many customers to serve. The location of the restaurant is great - in the middle of a sort of public square in an office development filled with other restaurants. It's a 5 minute walk away from Victoria Station and the Apollo Victoria and Victoria Palace theatres, so you could easily come here if you are watching Wicked or Hamilton and want pre-theatre food.

I went to the one in Covent Garden the other day, and was blown away by the quality of the ingredients, particularly the dough. The kitchen was open and you could see everything; I asked questions about the sourdough and was satisfied by the answers. I make sourdough bread at home and I can only eat bread prepared in this fashion, so finding this place was huge. However, I just ate at the Buckingham palace location and I'm writing this review a few hours after, and I'm in severe pain. I can't really digest normal bread and this is exactly what's happening to me. It seems that they lied about the dough being sourdough, and just substitute normal thinking people won't notice or care It was tasty, but I don't remember noticing hat sour tang before. And now it's coming back to haunt me, as I'll be spending most of this evening in the bathroom in severe pain. Will not be coming back to this or any other location again; so sad as the concept for the restaurant was really promising.

Excellent the best gluten free pie I've had in a long time . All very high quality ingredients

I did not like this style of pizza. It had no familiarity in anyway to a traditional pizza. I am giving a star because the gentleman that took my take away order was very helpful.
