I had the number four, with house-made mozzarella and ricotta, sweet ham, and just a touch of red sauce in the middle. The house cider was described as medium dry on the menu, and that was accurate. It was too dry to my liking, but still drinkable. My husband had a seasonal special with British meat, including Yorkshire Dales sausage. He thought it was good but he prefers a different, thicker kind of crust. I actually loved the crust because a could taste the complexity from its slow ferment and I didn't mind using a fork and knife where it was thin in the middle.
Service was so-so. The place was really busy. Our table for four ended up with another couple stuck at the end, which felt weird with their close proximity. Our server for some reason paid them more attention than us; we were kept wanting for drinks and felt invisible when we needed the check.
I hadn't been aware that this was a chain and we kept seeing them around the UK after out visit here, and we never felt the urge to visit another location.
