Update: the owner responded to my review while “saying” they were respectfully trying to defend each of our points view. It is in the end, what we did and did Not like about the food or its preparation. Also, while searing the outside of Pork it was Not tender or moist on the inside as you state is the reason for the cooking process! Also, yes the extra cheese is an easy fix, but do not feel I should have to ask again when it was clearly notated on server’s notes and it was on our receipt notes. We also feel the response to be a bit unfriendly, so no worries Located off Durango in a strip mall. One of my friends had eaten at their previous location and said it was not bad so we decided to try it. Alejandra was our server and was accommodating. What we ordered: 1.) Half order of Guacamole $5.00 the was fresh and tasty. 2.) Shrimp A La Diabla $20.00 My friend said it was just ok kind of bland. 3.) Chicken Enchiladas $18.00 my other friend said that this was tasty. 4.) Carnitas roasted pork $20.00 the Pork was over cooked (see last photo) burnt in some pieces. I had also asked for extra cheese on the beans…nope. I don’t think we will be back.

This restaurant has newly moved to Durango and Desert Inn a few months ago. Easy parking. Great food. Friendly staff with wonderful tasty margaritas! Prices are very reasonable. Cozy environment. Our new favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I liked the tamarind margarita and my husband loved his mango margarita. Carne asada and carnitas were very tasty! Coconut flan was a nice small dessert to top off our lunch. They do happy hour too (see photo). Closed Mondays

Google
Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. Homemade from start to finish. Amazing food, excellent & friendly service. Family-owned, which is even better. And the SALSA. Every time I visit, I have to leave with the largest container possible.

I finally went to F & F’s on a Saturday afternoon around 1:00. Timing was perfect and there was no wait. It was a good size restaurant and nicely decorated. The Staff were super attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Google
My girlfriend and I were visiting in town and wanted to get margaritas. We found this neighborhood Mexican restaurant and we're not disappointed. The drinks were made from fresh ingredients, not mixes, and it clearly made a difference. The bartender Angel was friendly and made us feel welcome. We decided to order carnitas nachos and we were very happy because the pork had an amazing flavor and tenderness. We'll definitely be coming back for dinner!

Google
This is this restaurant's second location and the first time I've been. The mole was a bit too much cinnamon tasting and the Chile Relleno was way too oily. The Michelada was perfect and the Albondigas soup was delicious. I will go back but order differently.

Google
3/22/25 Sat evening. Ordered Chicken Mole pick up. Menu online says $15. Got there and it was $21! That's 40% more than the price listed. Got back to the house and dug in. The mole enchiladas were good until, I felt that stringly thing we all hate.. a 6 inch long black hair in my mouth.

As soon as you walk through the front doors, you are the focus of every employee! I was sat immediately on a Friday evening. The decor was beautiful. Chips and salsa are great!! The menu has a wonderful selection with a good variety of food and drinks. I ordered a beef enchilada and crispy chicken taco. It was delicious!!! I thought the taco was a little dry, but the amazing beans and rice truly made up for it. Margarita is wonderful also!! The price is wonderful for what you get and I felt like it was a wonderful value. I will go back again and again!! I can’t wait to try something new!!

Yelp
Service is good. Steak Fajitas wasn't a miss- Meat wasn't dry, came in hot! Had to season lightly. Rice and beans bueno. Ask for the homemade habanero salsa if you like spice. Taste homemade. Can work on the table salsa rojo. Ambiance is pretty dim during the day. Overall, would come back.

Yelp
This place has been on my radar for a while. Finally a friend suggested we dine for lunch here. The restaurant is decorated very nice and I felt welcome when I arrived. Painted in traditional Mexican style and colors. The lighting is very stylish and it is bigger inside than I expected. The restaurant is family owned and operated. Location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. We arrived for an early lunch and were promptly seated. Just one other table dining when we arrived so we could sit wherever we wanted. Their chips and salsa are just delicious and definitely woke up my appetite. After reviewing the menu I decided to try their chicken flautas and my friend went with the taco salad. Service was helpful and before we knew it our lunch arrived. My flautas were very tasty and the chicken was seasoned well. My friend also enjoyed her taco salad. I am glad I stopped by to enjoy lunch and will have to try dinner in the future.

Yelp
Ya know, we rolled over here for breakfast one time on the merit of the many good to great yelp reviews. Breakfast was ok, perhaps a bit salty, but ok. We decided to try for dinner some months after- we were craving tacos and wanted an in-between taco dive/ fancy restaurant experience. Sometimes getting dressed is hard work. Especially after a full week of work, etc. (levity) Anyway dinner was amazing. I opted for the chicken mole and holy moly (sorry, couldn't resist)! The dish was insanely good. Chicken was tender, sauce was sweet, complicated and flavorful. Refried beans were light and tasty. (My beautiful wife had some fish taco variation and thought it was super good- I'll let her tell it in her review.) Restaurant was charmingly decorated but not too gaudy, servers were fun, efficient, and extremely adept at making the experience easy. Food came out quickly and hot and the rest is history. Highly recommend. Going back asap. Ps dessert churros were perfect. Cinnamon-ey, hot, cooked to perfection. We ordered the caramel and enjoyed the vanilla ice cream w fudge. Great, frivolous cap to the meal. Thanks guys!

Yelp
I've been coming here since they first opened circa 2004 - and I'm happy to say they have not declined in quality or value or even prices vs. proportion. Even my bf loved it and he isn't so easy to please. BUT he is still raving about it and we will make this a thing now whenever we want a decent sit-down close by. I always go for my favourite shredded beef Taquitos, and he went for the steak tips which come with tortillas (choice of flour or corn I think) and quacamole. Also if you come in with extra appetite (you will need it) order some bean dip for the chips to share and you have a complete dinner! Service is prompt and polite here, I surmise it is a family business since it's been the same crew all these years and they are wonderful as ever. Great vibes and great food.

Yelp
I had many great meals at the former location on Grand Canyon and was so excited to see they opened at a new spot. However, the quality of food is no where near where it used to be. I ordered the chile relleno & crispy chicken taco combo and a quesadilla to go. Right off the bat I was disappointed; the foil wrapped taco was placed right on top of hot melty cheese from the top of the chile relleno leading to a gooey mess. The chile was flat and whatever cheese was in the middle never melted. The taco was more filling than chicken. The side of rice was bland. The biggest disappointment was the salsa; it used to be amazing now it's just peppery with no oregano flavor. The quesadilla was ok but not worth a trip back.

Yelp
I have been a customer of Frank and Fina's restaurant since his 1st location on Charleston. It is the very best Mexican Restaurant in Las Vegas. I am from Chicago and to find anything comparable to my home town is beyond difficult. This is a great place to bring your family and friends with reasonable prices, excellent food and outstanding service. Richard Lamoureaux

Yelp
Great food, service and pricing! If you're in Vegas and have some wheels, get there for some damn tasty food!

Yelp
This place is so special and I debated posting this review in hopes of keeping it a secret. Seriously, this place is so special. Family owned and operated, the food is delicious and the restaurant is extraordinarily comfy and welcoming. Everyone I met was so kind and the staff cares so deeply about everyone's experience. I am a regular chips and salsa connoisseur, and theirs was delicious. The restaurant is a good size, no outdoor seating, but has ample space for whatever you're looking for. So delicious and I'll definitely be returning.

Yelp
My wife and I were doing some shopping nearby and looked to see what sounded good. We decided on this place, and it was definitely not a bad choice! When we first walked in the door, we were hit with the most amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. Not just pleasant, but the kind of aromas you want to deep inhale for awhile. We were promptly greeted and seated. The decor was very soothing, no bright lighting, see pictures for more. We started off with some margaritas. I tend to shy away from them because they are almost always too sour. I had a blended strawberry margarita, and my wife had a blended Tamarind version. They were the best margaritas I think we'd ever had, anywhere. I ordered a variety of street tacos from the appetizer menu. Carne asada, chicken, and the red pork. I could only eat the first 2, but my favorite hands down was the carne asada. I also had a bowl of the albondigas (meatball soup). If you look at the picture, you can just see the flavor. The meatball was delicious and could rival any Italian place. My wife had the Lump Crab Enchiladas. Wow is all I can say. There was a ton of lump crab (Not the fake stuff) in these. The flavor was out of this world, if you love crab, this is a great choice. All in all, this first experience was a win. Definitely go here and enjoy the experience.

Yelp
I checked this place out yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is dark and cozy. A lot of neutral colors, nothing too distracting. I got a carnitas burrito enchilada style and the carnitas it was very good. I would definitely get it again. Margaritas were also good. I got the guac because someone mentioned it on here as being really good. Unfortunately, that was not the case. What we got looked like it was 1-2 days old. It had that brown tint that you get after a few days.

Yelp
Kolton's grandma told me about this place and how Kolton loved going there when he was a child. I tried it today. And Grandmother was not kidding around. Fun place, great food and drinks. Fun family owned place where they appreciate you coming in. Give it a try. You won't go away hungry!

Yelp
Save this place from closing! If you know anyone who would be interested as a financial partner to help keep this business open, please contact this restaurant. This place is truly a gem of all Mexican restaurants in Vegas. The best of the best in all categories! From what I heard, there are staff here employed with this business for more than 25 loyal years.

Yelp
It's with a sad heart my favorite Mexican restaurant and people I genuinely cared for are closing their doors. The people and food will be missed.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful , Frank came in while we were there too , I love the personal touch . Delicious tamales and salsa was the best as well . Had second meals at home the next day that were even more delicious.

Yelp
Food, service and atmosphere are great. We really enjoyed our evening. We had a big group and were well taken care of

Yelp
Food was excellent!! Moved to Vegas from Chicago 1 year ago and this was the best Mexican I've had in Vegas! Service was great too!

Yelp
Now in my top 3 favorite Mexican restaurants. I am always on the lookout for new restaurants and this one has been on my list for months. I based my 5 star review based on taste of food, customer service, and cleanliness. I ordered the enchiladas suizas and my boyfriend ordered the fajitas. The enchiladas were authentic and the tomatillo crema salsa was cooked to perfection with the perfect tang. My boyfriend enjoyed the fajitas and said they were seasoned perfectly but said he was still hungry after finishing the plate. Maybe add a little more :) I super loved the customized tortilla cups they use to plate their beans - nice little touch. And omg the rice was outstanding!! Our server was friendly from the start. She continued to check on us and made sure we were taken care the entire time. The restaurant was tidy and the bathrooms were neat and clean. Says a lot. I am already planning to go back. Thank you for your outstanding food and service!

Yelp
I really enjoy eating here. The food has been consistent and delicious. Staff is very welcoming and their house margaritas are the best. My favorite dish is officially the chicken mole enchiladas.

Yelp
I have seen this place for years and have never tried it. My hairdresser told me it was good so I decided to try it and I was not disappointed. I got the crab enchiladas and they were amazing but just a tad too much crab ( I know I know is that even a thing) for me. The beans were some of the most amazing refried beans I have ever had. We will for sure be back and want to try different items.
google avatar

Yelp
Husband took me there yesterday, I've never been, and we've lived in this area for over 20 years. They've been there for almost that long, anyway; love everything about it. I love the variety of options on their menu. Service was great (fast and friendly. That is now my favorite Mexican eatery.

Yelp
I came here a few weeks ago for dinner with my boyfriend, I wanted Mexican and it's close to my house. The service was absolutely amazing, one guy was working the room and was very consistent and friendly. He made sure that we were constantly looked after and taken care of, i ordered the shrimp tacos and my boyfriend ordered the abondigus soup and a salad. We also ordered bean dip for our chips and salsa. The food was absolutely amazing and so was the service, I came again last night February 14th 2023, and ordered crab enchiladas to go, I came a little after 8pm and even though they close at 9pm they were very friendly and accommodating when it came to taking my order I appreciated that. I will definitely keep coming back the good here is delicious and the prices are very reasonable l.

Yelp
Worst Service Ever Always wanted to go here - read reviews giving decent stars but to be honest the Service was horrible. Started with a margaritas & bean dip - then we waited & waited & waited When they finally arrive at the table and I told them how long we waited they told me that we had ordered bean dip - apparently that's why they didn't come back? seriously that's why they waited 20 minutes to order our dinner The Waitress passed us by more than four times cleaning tables and getting checks for other tables didn't even stop by to ask us if we're ready We left - what a joke When walked out I think it was the manager came out the door and asked if there was a problem I told we're leaving then when I turned around to tell him the service was horrible he turned his back on me and walked away Margarita wasn't good On the other hand the r bean dip was decent

Yelp
Eaten here many times and always good. Very friendly staff. 6 dollar shots. Food is hot and delicious. Very authentic. Atmosphere is Mexican music which adds to the ambiance and decor. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We went for lunch on Friday with a group of 4 adults and 2 small children and it was a pleasant experience. We started off with the complimentary Chips & Salsa, the salsa was obviously homemade and delicious, with a little kick. From there we ordered the Tampiquena Plate, the Champoton Plate, Shrimp al la Diabla, Chile Verde, and two kids' menu Quesadillas. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. Their margaritas were large and strong. The service was pleasant and professional. Overall: A very nice place to stop for a Mexican meal.
google avatar

Kris W.

Yelp
Great food. Have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The servers are like family and the prices are reasonable. But the chips and salsa are the best. Top notch margaritas. We love this place. Try it out. We think you'll love it too

Yelp
Food is good but... I ordered BEEF taquitos and I got CHICKEN!!! I even asked when I got my order to verify they were in fact BEEF and they told me YES!! SO DISAPPOINTED!!! It was to go so I didnt want to go all the way back.

Yelp
Enjoyed a good meal today at Frank and Fina's for lunch, first time having a meal here. I was expecting this place to be small when walking in from outside, but the dining area had 12ft or more ceiling and more space than expected! I had the burrito (image below) while my coworker had their Steak Ranchero entree. We left on full stomachs and will make another visit in the future!

Yelp
I ate at the restaurant once and had delivery twice. I would go back to the restaurant if I was in the area and with people that wanted to go, but I won't do delivery again. Both times I ordered close to $100 worth of food/drink and there were issues. The first time I didn't get any chips and salsa with my order. Maybe it doesn't come with it, BUT I get take out from other Mexican restaurants on a regular basis and usually have wayyyy too much chips and salsa. So the fact I didn't get any was disappointing. The second time I added an order of chips and salsa and got two containers of salsa (one small and one big) and a little bag of chips (now I also got four entrees so there was enough salsa to go around but enough chips for maybe one person....). It was laughable how little chips went with the salsa. Then I ordered a sprite and paid $3.49 for it and it was in a styrofoam cup that spilled in a plastic bag. Seriously? You charge over three dollars for a small fountain drink? Suggest selling 20oz bottles (that won't spill) for delivery or removing drinks from the delivery menu. I basically donated an additional $3.50 to Frank and Fina's....well, I did get a pool of sprite in a plastic bag with a small styrofoam cup on top. The meals themselves were okay. Nothing special. Smaller sides of rice and beans (maybe two table spoons of each) than other Mexican restaurants around. Avocados had some brown spots (but finding a perfect avocado is hard, so I won't fault them for that). Bottom line, not worth the price tag. I feel like they skimp and/or overcharge for the amount/quality of the food you are getting (and comparing to other Mexican restaurants around). That all said, when I did visit the restaurant it was around lunchtime and pretty empty. Ambiance was nice. It was clean. I honestly don't remember our server (nothing stands out). Parking plentiful. Like I said, I might eat there again if I was in that area of town and people wanted to go, but I wouldn't do delivery again.

Miss D.

Yelp
Great service They treated us soooooo well Environment very nice And the food exquisite Super recommended!!!!!!!
google avatar

Ryan G.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time here and I will come back when in the area. Food is good. Ambiance is decent. Service is so-so. We were in the area and hungry for Mexican. The fajitas are great, my son got a carne asada burrito and it was "pretty good". 3 stars because the restaurant is good and will come back but both times the service wasn't the best. I definitely recommend ONLY if you're in the area and want Mexican food. Don't go out of your way.

Yelp
Besides the menu selection of a wide variety - both in value and taste - but the presentation - absolutely amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzing We tried the spicy orange martini and highly recoment it Service - Carlos was such an outstanding server - that we are saying goodbye to "juan" - and hellooooooooooooo Carlos - we've since been back again - and plan to come weekly - thank you so much for making it not just a great meal - but to feel so welcome - thank you Carlos - we are your #1 fans - love Dalene & gramma Ruth

Yelp
As always, the food was scrumptious. My Shrimp Caribe couldn't have been better. My siblings and I are sad to see this great restaurant end its run. Good luck to all the employees, and a special shout out to Veronica.

Jen J.

Yelp
This is so sad. They were my favorite. I hope they are relocating. It was all around the best Mexican place.
google avatar

Marsha E.

Yelp
Love the staff food is as authentic as you get. Flavor is great and margaritas are the bomb. Everyone is kind and at your service. Highly recommend. I drive a hr. Away to eat there.
google avatar

Chris R.

Yelp
I really appreciate good service, clean restaurants and great food. The mole enchiladas have such an authentic taste, you know they put a lot of effort into their food. Never had a bad meal here and parking is very convenient. My favorite Mexican food in town.

Jen L.

Yelp
This place is a gem. We stopped by for dinner on a Friday. They weren't super busy. Service was great. We shared the shrimp and steak fajitas for two. Delicious. We usually go to a different popular fajita place, but these fajitas were significantly better than the ones from the other place. Will definitely add this to our rotation.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Mom and I had a carne asada taco salad. Meat was a little on the chewy side although I will say it was a "small" salad and yet the portions were very generous. The employees are very friendly and it's a pretty cozy little spot. Felt more like I was sitting in someone's nicely decorated house versus a commercial building.

De T.

Yelp
Customer Service needs major improvement and they need to go to Etiquette training!! So sad that such great food comes with horrible customer service! Will never go here again!
google avatar

Laurie H.

Yelp
We LOVE Frank and Finas!!! One of our top 3 choices for Mexican food! Always consistent service and quality. We love trying the vegetarian specials- never had a bad meal here!!! Highly recommend this place! Great tasting chips and salsa as well!

Yelp
My absolute FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas, food & service is always excellent and they have the bestttt flautas
google avatar

Rommel S.

Yelp
Great drinks!! The margarita's and sangrias were fantastic! Tried burritos, tamales, seafood dishes and the carne asada fries which were all engulfed and praised by the family. Great service with frequent refills and check-ins through the night. Will be back again.
google avatar

Cynthia B.

Yelp
Last night my husband and I had dinner at Frank & Fina's for the first time. It was highly recommended by friends that also had dinner with us. I have to say, I have lived in Vegas for 40 years. We have eaten at most of the Mexican restaurants in Vegas. Frank and Fina's is the BEST Mexican food anywhere. The staff was great and very efficient. The margaritas were out of the world. I had a frozen peach. It was the best I've had. The prices were great and we can't wait to go back again! Trust me!! You will be so impressed! Thank You to the owners and staff for such a beautiful dinner and evening!!

Deb K.

Yelp
We absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!! The food is always so good. Many options are family recipes and so delicious. Their specials never disappoint. The menu has so many wonderful options. My husband loves the mole and I love their enchiladas. The best part is the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. You are definitely family when you are there! The dining room is spacious and can accommodate families. This is a twice a month go-to for us.
google avatar

Greg L.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times. Every time we try something new. It has always been delicious. The service has exact timing for everything. They do everything they can to make it a great experience. The atmosphere is fun. Something to look at and talk about on every wall.
google avatar

Walt D.

Yelp
Having been here several times, the service is ALWAYS top notch! So helpful and friendly from the moment you walk in. The food is delicious as they put their own special flare on each entré. Actually, let me back up. When you sit down, you're soon greeted by homemade tortilla chips with salsa. Fresh in every way and altogether tasty! Not TOO spicy hot, just right. Then, the food. We've had several dishes and all are quite nice. From chile relleno to fish tacos, burritos (covered and smothered) to carne asada. Always exceptional. Perhaps it's the refried beans and "spanish rice" which makes the meal complete? I'm not exactly sure, but I do know it all has that homemade flavor as if you're actually IN Mexico eating at someone's abuela's (grandmother's). They have quite the selection of drinks, including fancy margaritas (my favorite is the Jalapeño-Cilantro Cadillac Margarita which has a BIG kick to it, so be careful! The prices are also reasonable. Not too high you look at the menu and think wow! But not too low where you think it's cheap eats. Just right. As I said, we've been here several times and we'll be back again.

William P.

Yelp
The best in Mexican food. In humble surroundings. After eating at lots of Mexican eateries this is definitely great and at reasonable prices. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
Went on a date night to try a new place. Its a cute Mexican restaurant just off the 215 and West Flamingo. Very nice interior with a swanky ambiance. The customer service was definitely a 5 Star. Very attentive staff and super clean. The chips and salsa were quite bland. We ordered the crab enchiladas and grilled shrimp tacos which came with rice and beans. The tacos had the small baby shrimp and not too much flavor. Crab enchiladas were ok, nothing to really write about. Wasn't impressed with the food. I guess I was expecting more. Will I go back? Probably not.
