The wings here are fantastic—crispy, hot, and perfectly cooked, which is what really counts. While the sauce was delicious, there wasn't much of it. Next time I'll be sure to ask for extra. My son's wings were also great, and he loved the fries, which appeared to be dusted with a light flour coating but may have just been extra crispy. The service was good. Our server was very attentive and the restaurant was clean. This is the best place for wings in Loudoun. People are too quick to leave bad reviews over minor issues. When you can get wings this good, it’s worth a visit. It's much better than the chain restaurants and other spots I've tried.

Went to Anchor Bar to watch a game, and it turned out to be the ideal spot! With TVs all around, you don’t miss a moment of the action, and the atmosphere hits that perfect balance, lively yet comfortable. The food exceeded my expectations for a sports bar. The pizza logs are a must! Super crispy and loaded with cheese; honestly, it’s hard to resist ordering another round. The buffalo flavor on the pizza and wings is spot-on, not overly spicy, but full of that classic Buffalo kick. The Roast Beef on Weck was another highlight. The beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. And if you’re into mac & cheese, don’t miss the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, creamy, flavorful, and quickly became one of my favorites. The service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, and the manager even stopped by to chat, cracking jokes and making us feel right at home. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests. We happened to go on a Tuesday, which was music bingo night. It was a blast, and we even got lucky and won twice! For anyone looking for a fun spot to enjoy great food and watch a game, Anchor Bar is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Google
We went Tuesday evening for a couple of beers and wings, we sat at the bar. It was mildly busy, but enough that one bartender wasn’t really enough. I ordered 10 wings, traditional hot with all the fixings. The food came fast enough, sort of: I got my wings (posted a picture of one), and blue cheese, but that was it. Napkins? We had to ask. My friend got his sandwich but not the wings that were supposed to come with it. He had to ask. My wings were so dry it was almost comical; they might have waved them some sauce but they had absolutely no sauce on them. Want sauce? Had to ask. Oh they were supposed to come with celery, had to ask. We got one tiny half-filled cup of blue cheese for 10 wings, had to ask for enough to actually dip all the wings. We finished our beers and waited, eventually had to flag down the bartender to ask for another beer. It just seems like this place is coasting on their name, and doing as little as possible, forcing you to ask them to bring what was supposed to come with your meal, and then acting like you’re asking too much. I doubt we’d go back there are plenty of better wing spots.

I was amped to head out to the Anchor Bar location in Leesburg to see if the wings tasted as good as I remembered. I ordered 10 medium buffalo and 10 honey bourbon bbq wings with a side of blue cheese. My tastebuds immediately remembered why these OG wings are constantly voted as the best in every city that they touch down in. The pizza logs are also a must that you have to order. I believe that this might be the best way to consume one of my favorite meals. I love that fact it only requires one hand to achieve the perfect dipping method to get a generous marinara sauce to pizza ratio.

Google
We hit the Anchor Bar shortly after it started. We all got wings, and they were good but needed to be more crispy. I also wish they had more flavors. The service was good, especially since they were clearly short staffed. The owner or manager came by and talked to us a couple of times which was really nice. It had a great atmosphere and will be a top spot to hit during football games. I expect they will settle in over the next couple of weeks and be a great place to go.

Google
I had been anticipating this place opening for a long time, and it did not disappoint! It has an amazing indoor/outdoor atmosphere with an extremely comfortable seating setup. For those who like booth and table combos, you will be in heaven! TV'S EVERYWHERE! The staff is on point, and food comes out hot! Wings were perfect. Sauces were tasty. I liked the HLT... but it was wayyyy too salty... but the sweet potato fries were great! Pina Colada was refreshing. It is a bit loud, but it is a sports bar. It's great for a fun place with friends to catch the game and enjoy good food.

Google
The home of the Buffalo Wing! We had delicious wings, burgers, wraps and roast beef sandwiches. Thumbs up on the onion rings and tots. Our server Darius was awesome!

Google
We like 30 minutes from Anchor Bar and always love going. The food and the staff is amazing! A smile on everyone’s face and the best wings ever. Raf took great care of us today!

Yelp
Our experience was awesome. Why the low stars? Well we did come for the early part of happy hour. Not many people in the bar. The bar server was great, so attentive and friendly. I love that the bar ambiance is open and brightly lite plenty of bar seating and many tables near the open windows. Seemed to have lots of regular patrons.. everyone knows each others names. We opted for a few happy hour snacks. Tits tiered pricing and the lowest $7 price includes plenty of bar snacks. We chose the pretzel bites that came out piping hot with 2 types of sauces: a sweet mustard and a white cheese. Both tasty. It happens to also be $1 wing day- all day(Wed). I only eat flappers and it was only an additional $1 to ask for a full plate of flappers. The sauce was perfect: hot wings. I did wish the wings weee a bit more meatier. Hubby LOVED his boneless wings, with a dry rub. They looked humongous.

Yelp
We came here for dinner on the way back north. The food I thought was better than I expected. You can have different rubs and sauces and you can order all flats or all drums if you want. A few weird things that made me take a star off: children at the bar. Not just a high top at the bar area, but sitting at the bar itself. The other thing was a dog inside. I would love to have my dog there - is that actually allowed or was this because the person is a regular? Otherwise a decent option for dinner and to watch some sports.

Yelp
Our first time visiting this local bar. Stopped by The Anchor Bar in Leesburg and had a great experience! Our server was absolutely fantastic--friendly, attentive, and quick with refills. The wings came out hot and crispy, with a generous portion that's perfect for sharing (or not!). Add in the excellent happy hour prices, and it's easily one of the best casual spots in town for wings and drinks. Highly recommend!

Yelp
TLDR: Good food, quick service, go sports! Every time we drove past this place, we always said "Oh, we should go there for lunch!" and then never went. So finally, we did it. Only took us over a year. But after that experience, we weren't impressed unfortunately. I'm not sure what I expected. It was dead inside. Only 1 or 2 (of ~20) tables in the dining room were taken when we got there & a few people at the bar. We went during dinner hours, so I thought that was odd. Maybe this place fills up during big sports events? Or maybe they have more things going on in the summer? During the summer, I know we used to see a Drink Specials board outside and a bunch of full outdoor tables. I'd like to come back here during the summer to eat outside since inside wasn't the best experience. Food (4/5): We got the Pretzel Bites ($9.99), Chicken Caesar Wrap ($12.99), and the Steak Philly Sandwich ($15.50). All were delicious! The same queso from the Pretzel Bites is on the Steak Philly Sandwich, so if you're not looking for the same flavors smothering your app & entree, don't pair them together. The Chicken Caesar Wrap was perfect: not dry & not full of lettuce. I loved it and would get it again. Their fries are also great. The Pretzel Bites were ok. They're your normal frozen pretzels with a large DENSE side of queso. The Steak Philly Sandwich was great but.... this is on us: we didn't know it came with mushrooms... we don't like mushrooms. Yes, the menu says it comes with mushrooms. No, we did not fully read what was in it. That's 100% on us. So the food rating is not based on that. The sandwich was great regardless. Ambiance (1/5): We unfortunately went when a group of people brought a 2 & 3 year old. The staff & group's adults allowed the kid to use the booth as a trampoline, scream, and bang utensils on the plate for our entire stay there. We tried to distract ourselves by watching baseball on one of the 1000 big screens they had. The flags above the dining room were cool. Service (5/5): Our server was quick and gave us space. I'm sure they were there for a while, or just listening to the children screaming in the corner was driving them insane since they seemed like they were so done.

Yelp
I love the Buffalo ranch dry rub. Service has improved the last couple times we've been there.

Yelp
So this is a mixed bag review. First, the wings- it is like going to Disney's Epcot France Pavilion for years and then the actual country. The wings tasted just like Buffalo Wild Wings---and while I'm Sure they copied, it still tasted the same, I also got a "beef on wreck" which was stunning, Salty, beefy with fennel bread and dipping sauce....so good,

Yelp
First time eating at Anchor Bar - second time visiting (first time was a special event)... Ordered the crispy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, coated in Buffalo sauce, Comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion, plus a side of tater tots and a pint of a local IPA from Old Ox Brewery. My friend ordered a pizza - which he enjoyed. Our server was awesome - food came out fairly quickly. Sammich and tots were good. I requested a side of the Buffalo sauce to dip my tots in - they brought that out quickly. Service was good. The menu on the table has a bar code on it - if one scans it with your phone camera - it will bring up a list of the current local craft beers they carry. The place was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. I will be back! #AnchorBar

Yelp
As part of a famous buffalo wings place, I expected nothing less than what this brought. A solid sports bar, many options for wings flavors, and a loud crowd. I think the flavors of the buffalo wings are spot on, but nothing so special that you have to go out of your way to find this. If anything, I think that the other flavors pale slightly so other than the buffalo wings, I wouldn't recommend anything. Other than that, the ambiance is great with tons of TVs. I would come back for solo dining and/or to enjoy their famous buffalo wings.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner there on 9/5/2024. She had a cheeseburger and fries. She ordered the burger well done. Surprisingly, it was cooked perfectly. It was still juicy. Alot of restaurants overcook a burger if it's ordered well done. Burger was very tasty. Fries were average. I ordered the Beef on Weck with tots, instead of Fries. The roast beef itself was average, most of the meat was over cooked. It should be medium rare and paper thin. The meat was about an 1/8" thick. I wish it was thinner. The bun was fresh, nice and salty. The bun makes up for bland meat. I was also given some au jus. The sandwich dipped in the au jus was a good bite. The tater tots were nice and crispy. Service was pretty good. A decent meal. We will probably try it again.

Yelp
As a Central Nee York native, I was so excited to see this here in Virginia. I was quite let down however. The pizza was awful- how much sugar is in the sauce? The wings would have been great but they were so dry. The wings dip was really the only acceptable thing that we tried. I was very disappointed.
google avatar

Pamela T.

Yelp
Service was good. Wings were cooked well. Options were plentiful. Lots of screens to view sporting events.

Patricia J.

Yelp
Yuck. I had high hopes but guess I should have looked at reviews first. I ordered the weck and wings combo. The sandwich was much smaller than pictured and the meat was very well done, dry and salty. To top it off there was a piece of toothpick in the bun which I luckily noticed since I usually take one side of the bun off. The wings were so tough and small. I had 5 wings and could only eat 2. Two had feathers sticking out and were so over fried you couldn't even pull the skin off. And to top it off no soap in the men's restroom.

Yelp
Typical bar food and great place to catch a game. Service is fair and I would go back but there are other choices.

Yelp
Went to Anchor Bar to catch a game, and I have to say, it's the perfect spot! Tons of TVs everywhere, so you won't miss a single play, and the atmosphere is just right - lively but still comfortable. The food was way better than I expected for a sports bar. The pizza logs are a must-try! They're loaded with cheese and super crispy. Honestly, it's hard not to order a second round. And the buffalo flavor on the pizza and wings was spot-on, not too spicy but still full of that classic kick. One of the highlights was definitely the Roast Beef on Weck. The beef was super tender and juicy. And if you're a mac & cheese fan, do yourself a favor and get the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. It was so creamy and full of flavor that it quickly became one of my favorites. The service was top-notch, too. Our server was on it the whole time, and the manager even stopped by to chat, he was hilarious and made us feel right at home. You can tell they really care about their guests here. We went on a Tuesday night which was music bingo night, it was really fun and luckily we won 2 times!!! If you're looking for a fun spot to grab good food and watch a game, I can't recommend Anchor Bar enough!

Yelp
Overall good food and a great place to watch some football games! The service was great and attentive. Fun spot to go to!

Yelp
Placed an order for pick up, which was super simple. Food was ready at time given. The prices were honestly great! The food was pretty tasty too. I have had the pleasure of dining in previously , and I have to say I love the set up. Fresh breezes and sunlight while dining in. Would definitely return.

Yelp
Travel Channel once did a special on sports bar food with Anchor Bar being featured as the originator of the Buffalo wing as I recall. Originating in Buffalo, NY, it's now expanded outside that area and made it's way into Leesburg. Of course I had to check it out for myself as someone who loves sports, wings, and has had genuine pleasant interactions with Bills mafia when encountered. I've only sat at the bar area; there's plenty of televisions available for watching games there and beer selection has several local brews including Lost Rhino, Old Dominion, Old Ox, and Flying Dog. As for food, they've got typical bar eats including wings (obviously), pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. Buffalo eats such as the Beef on Weck is also available as well. I've done the wings everytime I'm here. They aren't the best I've had as the batches I've had are a bit overfried and tough but it's drenched in sauce which I like and some are tender in the batch. I expect them to figure out their niche and improve on the flavor as they get themselves established. The bartenders are generally nice and attentive. I did notice my first time there, I asked if they could split wing flavors but they said they only do that when it's not busy. Not sure how that makes sense since it's just tossing them in another sauce but I didn't argue. Maybe short-staffed? And it was on a Sunday? Eh, who knows. I'm glad Leesburg has another sports bar in the area especially in this shopping center. We'll see how they progress and if they are a mainstay here.

Yelp
Food is what you'd expect. Service is truly terrible. Had to ask for napkins, plates, etc. never got the waters we ordered. No drink refills. Took 20 minutes to get our check when we were done. Good help is hard to find.

peter m.

Yelp
Have been in restaurant many times, service and food is terrific. However, was in for dinner 10/10/25 and there was some kind of kid's party. The noise level and chanting made for an unpleasant experience. Adults at a kid's party need to be respectful of other patrons and keep their kids under control. Staff could have done a better job of gentle reminders.
google avatar

Tom O.

Yelp
Wings are better than ever. Nice new menu items including a caprese salad. Bartenders are friendly and do a great job! Best tv's for watching sports in Leesburg.

Yelp
They are a fairly new sports bar where Eggspectation used to be. I came in on a Friday night around 5PM. They weren't too busy, but it didn't take long til they had a pretty full house. I sat at the bar, and the service was pretty good with just a few hiccups: my order was taken fairly quickly, didn't have very long to wait for my appetizer (from the happy hour menu) and my drink was refilled fairly quickly. The only couple hiccups was I waited quite a bit for my burger and they gave me regular fries even though I asked for sweet potato fries. They were quick to grab me an order of sweet potato fries, though, no problem! I got to have 2 types of fries! Overall, pretty solid service. I had the onion rings, regular fries, sweet potato fries and a mushroom Swiss burger. Great onion rings and both types of fries were good! the mushroom Swiss burger was good; it would've just been better had they included caramelized onions on top as well. All in all, pretty happy and full. Pretty lively sports bar and definitely a pretty good place to hang out and watch games. They have tables outside, too, if inside is a little too much for you. On good weather days, they open the dining area to the patio. Solid choice for a chill hang out.

Yelp
The recently opened sports Bar and Wing place, I went there in the first week. Loved the service, great staff. The place is perfect to watch games, tons of TVs, have a wonderful beer selection. The food was just ok, they should get better after a few months.
google avatar

Bob M.

Yelp
All the hype! Damn good wings. That's about it. I was trying to get the beer menu up and the server didn't know the beers and he handed a sheet with QR codes. The codes were too close together and I had trouble getting the menu up. But the worst was prepackaged ranch and blue cheese dressings. Authentic? Really? Bathroom clean. Service was pushy. Lots of seating. Nice outside.
google avatar

Marianna F.

Yelp
This is the former location of Eggspectation. This was our first time at Anchor Bar. Very sports bar looking and with the story about the founders from Buffalo, so known for its wings. I wanted to try them and also the Pizza Rolls and the pizza. Our server was one of the nicest I've ever had! She smiled all the time! The pizza rolls who looked like egg rolls were large. Piping hot! When opening them up they oozed with a generous amount of mozzarella and pizza sauce. The crust was crispy and tasty. I had terriacki wings and all flats! You could order them like that and served with delicious blue cheese dressing and extra chunky. The pizza was just extra cheese. Very good. I will experiment with toppings next time.
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
The bartender Andrew is amazing. He's always personable and friendly. He gets my togo order correct each time and is an asset to the team. The bar is welcoming and the staff seems to have a good time even though they work hard. I moved from LEESBURG in the 2020 but whenever I'm in the area I stop by Anchor Bar for the Beef on a Weck and wings!!!
google avatar

Pat H.

Yelp
This is my favorite wing spot! The wings are never mushy but are plump and tasty. Try the garlic Parmesan! Great choices on the menu of burgers, wings and pizza, killer onion rings plus there is always a discount or a coupon around save a few bucks.

Yelp
LOUDON'S NEW BUFFALO SPORTS BAR: Leesburg just got a great new sports bar that features the famous Anchor Bar wings from Buffalo NY. Their menu also features Beef on Weck sandwiches, Pizza with Cup and Char Pepperoni (Buffalo's unique pepperoni), and Pizza Logs. They have 24 beers on tap and have 45 TVs making it a great location during NFL season to watch multiple games at once. Given their Buffalo roots this should be the ideal place to catch Buffalo Bills NFL games. In 2009, the Anchor Bar Franchise & Development Company opened its first franchise outlet and now has several locations in Western New York, Texas, Maryland, Illinois, Georgia and now Virginia. The Buffalo, New York-based restaurant chain is claimed to be the creator of the Original Buffalo Wing. Established in 1935 by Frank and Teressa Bellissimo, this restaurant currently serves more than ten million pounds of chicken wings annually across its franchisees. Anchor Bar franchise & development company CEO and president Mark Dempsey said: "Leesburg, Virginia is a remarkable location. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to give the community a chance to experience our James Beard Gold Medal Award Winning Wings.

Anthony B.

Yelp
Being from the Buffalo area I was very excited about seeing Anchor bar come to Leesburg after having not lived in WNY since 1988. Debate aside about the real originator of the Buffalo wing, Anchor bar definitely made them popular and a national dish. I love how everything is themed in such a way that it honors Buffalo, the Bills, other Buffalo franchises. The food is ok, but their wings are definitely the specialty here. Unique beverages like Loganberry is on point! There's more than enough screens and they do a great job of making sure every table has great views. However, unfortunately during my last visit I had a view of and sometimes an earful of something I was surprised to see. After sitting down and placing my order I noticed a furry patron at the bar! I'm all for "pet friendly" environments and love my dog as a member of my family; however this was a bit much for me. I personally think dogs should remain on the floor and preferably outdoors (patio) in public places, unless they're service or support animals. Even as a service or support animal however they should not be allowed in chairs or at the bar, or at food level, and with staff petting them then returning back to work and/or serving food to patrons. Regardless of how clean this pup may have been, this can't be according to code. Furthermore the dog barked at new patrons as they came into the establishment and nothing was ever done. WTH. Anchor Bar I've known you for years, most of my life. I've visited you on Main St. in Buffalo several times. Airports, etc. I've never seen you represent yourselves or Buffalo as poorly as you did during this experience. You have a great establishment. Humans and animals both can have a great experience w/o going to these extremes. This may have been cute; but clean? I have my doubts. The kicker: although I didn't see use of it, there was a bowl in front of the dog's chair, on the bar! YIKES! I heard others complain as well and only because I feel a connection with one of the few icons I grew up with in Buffalo, that I'm writing a very rare review. No person should ever question sanitary status in a restaurant and/or not be able to eat comfortably and in peace. Anchor Bar, do better!

Yelp
Great Sports bar for TVs and Beers. Food is absolutely abhorrent. Wings are tiny. Quesadilla is flavorless. Chicken sandwich is supervised. Stick to drinks.
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
It's an extremely solid sports bar. The ability for it to open to the outside was great - and should add a lot to sports watching weekends. Food was pretty good. Understand your expectations are at a sports bar level, and you'll live. They don't have 100 beers on tap, or 50 menu items, but our food was great and the wings are probably the best in town for this specific type of place (BWW and BWF). Service was great, and it really seems like they've ironed the kinks out in past reviews of good service and well expedited food.

Chad C.

Yelp
Fun place to grab a drink but whatever you do, DO NOT order food. Absolutely, without a doubt the worst food in all of Loudoun county. Poor quality, poor flavor, terrible execution for simple bar food. God awful food.
google avatar

Carol M.

Yelp
Grace was a fantastic server! food about what we expected. Bears were losing at halftime.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
The food was terrible. There were 5 of us and we each had different things. The only thing that was decent was the burger. The wings were really dry. I gave it an extra star because the waitress was very nice. We won't be going back though.
google avatar

Tim P.

Yelp
Very nice location. Parking is available in the garage a couple of blocks away. The bar is very bright and clean. Service was good and the food was great. You've got to try the pizza logs.

Austin K.

Yelp
My wife and I ordered door dash from this location because we both put in 12 hour shifts at work and didn't want to leave the house to get food. They completely forgot to bag her food and only bagged mine. She called, spoke to someone and they said "yeah we have your food here." We went and picked it up, MILES from our house. It was COLD, not fresh, and the employee handed it to here and said "here you go" not an apology, not fresh food, not a refund, not a credit for a future visit. Totally rude, uncaring and disrespectful staff. We will NEVER eat here again. Such a shame that this place is supposed to be the premier wing spot... they don't show it with how they treat their customers. We will get our wings from Applebees next time, at least it will be fresh. This place blows chunks.

Abby W.

Yelp
After order a mean for myself and my husband for delivery through DoorDash, my chicken Caesar wrap was not bagged with the rest of our food and not given to our DoorDash driver. I called and they still had it at the restaurant so I drove to pick it up. I did not get any sort of apology or acknowledgement from the business. My food was disgusting. It was cold and they threw a pickle in there which got juice all over my wrap making it soggy. There was no dressing on the wrap. I drove all the way over there and wasn't even offered an apology. Save your money for a business that cares!

Yelp
Can't make an old fashioned at all. Dirty bar, sub par service. Not enough bar tenders or wait staff. I was there at 430pm on a Thursday.

Doug K.

Yelp
The hostess sat us outside which was fine. Lovely day. 15 minutes later, no waiter, no waitress, no one walked by to ask if we have been helped. Bye bye. We got up and left and spent our money elsewhere. Too bad. Looked like a nice place from the street.

Susan B.

Yelp
Food was good, not busy when we were there. Sat in the dining room, it's definitely loud in there, lots of TV'S, but do they all have to be on so loud when we were the only ones in the dining room? Typical bar. I have been to the anchor bar in Buffalo and their original restaurant is set up very differently. They have a bar area with TV'S, but then they have a dining room free of TV'S and you can enjoy your food and hear your dining partner talk. This anchor bar would benefit from that arrangement.

Yelp
I recently had an opportunity to visit Anchor Bar in Leesburg, Virginia, to watch football with a group of friends, and let me tell you, it's a haven for sports enthusiasts and comfort food 'aficionados! From the moment we walked through the door, I felt like I had discovered my new home away from home. Ambiance: Anchor Bar has absolutely nailed the perfect blend of a sports bar and a cozy comfort food joint. The numerous big-screen TVs broadcasting all the major sports events make this the go-to place for sports. This place exudes an electrifying and fun energy that sets the stage for an amazing time during games. With ample seating and a spacious layout, there's not a bad spot in the house. Service: I must admit, I'm not usually a people person, but it wouldn't be a fair review if I didn't commend the staff. The bar team is not only friendly but also a lot of fun, and they're incredibly attentive (and yes, some of them could be described as attractive too!). Our waiter (Colin, I believe) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and have fun, which is no small feat with our group. The staff made us feel like valued guests, something that's becoming increasingly rare in many places these days. To the staff at Anchor Bar, we genuinely appreciate you! Food and Drinks: Since Anchor Bar is considered a "wing place" (original Buffalo wings place) we tried and loved several flavors but my favorite was habenaro-ranch dry rub. The pizza was also great and we will be back to try other menu items (they have a lot more than just wings and pizza). I noticed there were a few vegetable-based items on the menu, but I'm afraid I can't vouch for those--I was too enchanted by the other meat offerings. Overall Experience: Simply said, Anchor Bar is an outstanding sports bar and a haven for great bar food. It has quickly become my go-to spot. The combination of its bold and patriotic atmosphere (I can tolerate all the Bills memorabilia), the stellar staff, mouthwatering food, and an extensive array of drink options solidify it as a clear 5-star destination for me, anchoring itself firmly within the Leesburg community. Let's go, Anchor Bar!

Yelp
Really cool place with horrible service. The peak of this service for me was asking for 2 shots of 1800 and then being billed for 2 $50 shots of Don J. When I asked it to be corrected the answers I received was "we don't have 1800". Considering the overall poor service this was the icing on the cake. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Yelp
Out of this world Wings. We even bought wings to eat a few hours later and they were still fresh and delicious with a quick air fry reheat. The staff had our order ready quickly and friendly when I was at the counter to pick it up. Food and atmosphere is amazing for sports watching. I'm a Cowboys fan and I'd still love to be here with all the Bills fans.

Yelp
What a nice surprise... so I actually made a purposeful trip here to check this place out. I happen to know a couple of the investors/owners of this franchise. The wait and bartender staff was super friendly and accommodating. So obviously I needed to order the traditional wings on my first time. They were pretty good! The sauce was good, and my only complaint would be i personally like them a little more crispy. They would get an "A" on the wings. The menu had a lot of good pub and some good Italian choices. To include Chicken Parm and spaghetti and meatballs. For the ambiance, obviously everything is new, chairs - tables - bar - etc... I'm sure over time it will get a local feel. Right now it's very generic. Lots and lots of TVs. Looks like they have what can be a private room. I give this place a huge thumbs up and although parking is not convenient, it's worth the short walk from the garage behind the restaurant...

Yelp
Ok. Just got a coupon in the mail for these folks. To any manager at Anchor, please tell me why a waffle breakfast + sausage + two eggs + home fries costs $23.48 when the same meal at IHOP costs $12.69? You charge 2x what IHOP does? Your ambiance can't POSSIBLY be that good. If it included bottomless mimosas then, yeah, maybe. But double? And why don't you open for breakfast until 9 am? Anyone with kids will be up by 7 am.

Yelp
An hour and a half. It was an hour and a half from when we placed our orders for dinner (wings and salads) to when we received them. When we asked our (accommodating, sweet, and helpful) waiter to bring out the manager so we could speak to them, the manager came out FULL of attitude. He was extremely combative, sarcastic and rude, saying "thanks for your opinion" when we mentioned how long our food was taking. He was holed up in his office not helping his staff whatsoever. In addition, there were dirty dishes stacked at the bar so high it was attracting flies and was terrible to sit next to. Not professional at all. Tables weren't clean, they ran out of silverware, napkins, food, etc. Overall, the food was good, but the negligence and attitude from the manager made us not want to go back. When there's a group spending ~$300, you may want to hear their complaints...

Yelp
I went during the second week they were open. They were clearly still working out the kinks. The beer was tasty but took a while for service. The service despite still clearly learning the menu and system was very friendly and hard working. The wings were great and we were able to try many different flavors within one order. They have about 10 flavors but they are all good. The inside is beautiful. I'll be back.

Yelp
I know this is Loudoun but the beer prices were crazy high and the food tasted like typical bar food, wings were tasty but nothing I couldn't make myself. Expectations are low in Loudoun, but the prices make it unreasonable for me to be a repeat customer. I wish them well.

Yelp
I've been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo and this one in Leesburg is not at all the same. Ordered the signature Buffalo Wings and what came out was an abomination. When I picked the first one up the skin was rubbery almost steamed and virtually no sauce on the wing itself. These resembled bad hotel, baked from frozen wings. I could barely eat one and all of them had the same horrid consistency. They do not in any way resemble the wings on the website or the menu. Frankly for all the hype I was hoping for something out of the park. What I quickly realized was that there are at least a dozen places in the area that actually have much better wings than Anchor Bar. In fact, I would describe these as bottom of the barrel. These shouldn't be served to anyone. Also tried the Philly Steak and Cheese which couldn't have been more boring and executed with less skill. Boring was a theme as we tried the Anchor Bar Dip which was tasteless, looked congealed and the tortilla chips bordered on stale. I have no idea who's running this location but they are seriously damaging the Anchor Bar brand and should get their heads out of the proverbial place we all know. So disappointing. The only bright spot was our young server Hannah, she was a gem.
