Franka

Lovely atmosphere with a large outdoor area. We attended a corporate event there (around 30 people) and felt very well taken care of. The starters were very tasty, but unfortunately the main courses—while good—were relatively less special. The tuna steak and chicken were both overdone and a bit dry. We tried the choco tiramisu & cannot recommend it.

We dined here for lunch and it was delish. My crew mostly got the menu options that had very delicious pairings, but one friend also got the cheese ravioli with shrimp sauce. I tried the local Croatian white wine which was wonderful. See the attached photos for details in the deliciousness. My friends also got a barrel and bean dessert cocktail, tiramisu and rum bobka.

We came to FRANKA as a group of six and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic. The starters were outstanding — we sampled them all, and each one seemed to top the last. We especially loved the seafood pot and grilled fish as main dishes — it takes a little longer, but while enjoying our starters the time flew by, and it was totally worth it. The wine list has some great local options, and the cocktails we had as an aperitif were super tasty. Definitely a place we’d come back to!

The food was absolutely delicious and excellent. The Middle East and Croatian fusion was absolutely incredible, with yogurts, cheeses and sublime fish. I personally really enjoyed the burger, which had delicious sauce and caramelised onions. The service was very good and our waiter was very nice and very funny. He had very good knowledge of the food and flavours. Overall, I would give it a 6 star if I could. Would definitely come again!

One of the best Tuna Steaks I’ve ever had!||I started with the Smashed Cucumber Salad which was so tasty but I chose not to finish it because I really wanted to try the Tuna Steak. Good choice.||My husband had the Scallop Ceviche starter and followed this with the Lamb Chops. Both excellent.||We had no room left for dessertsbut I would highly recommend this place in Trogir.

We had dinner outside at Franka with friends (4 couples total). The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. Josipa went above and beyond to make sure our group had a special evening. She was attentive, friendly, helpful, and professional. We even got to learn a few Croatian words while we there. 😉|We would highly recommend Franka, and we would definitely recommend you ask to have Josipa serve you while you are there.

Lovely (if not cheap) food, a cut above the usual tourist fare. Also a lovely setting and excellent service. We had a very nice meal. ||Only black spot was the virgin mojito which, when you took the giant ice cube out, actually had very little in it (see photo). Rest was great but this a rip off at €9.

What an absolutely charming small restaurant nestled in this beautiful little island town. |It was immaculately decorated and so clean. We sat outside in the courtyard enjoying the warm evening. |The menu wasn’t enormous and you just knew that each dish would be done to perfection and it was. |We had Burrata with delicious perfectly ripe tomato’s that you just knew had been grown a very short distance away. Our main course was grilled sea bass which was boned at our table and was without doubt the best we had ever eaten. |We didn’t eat pudding but I saw some incredible sorbets. A chocolate one that had a gloss on it like a mousse. |The wine and service was just as good. |Jure could not have looked after us any better. |A really unexpected magical evening. |They have rooms too which no doubt would be as charming as this intimate restaurant.
