The views are beautiful especially at night. The staff were very accommodating. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner, birthday dinner, or any special occasion. If the valet parking is not operating then the Ibis hotel is a good alternative.

Overall, it was a nice experience with interesting food variations and good wine pairing. We were greeted friendly with wardrobe service. The dining room, with its full front of windows, is bright, and with the white table cloths, it looks friendly and clean. I didn't really like the chairs and tables but that’s subjectiv. We just got the menu card, and if there are different dishes, we wouldn't know. I assume currently you just can order from the 2 4 course menues. Menu 1 was with meat and menu 2 the vegeterian option. You can create your own menu by combining/choosing from both menues. You can also choose if you want to go with 3 or 4 courses, For each dish you can get also the wine pairing. I will not go thru each dish, just highlights. It started with a greeting from the kitchen. It was a good aperitif but really one note tomato taste. The sashimi tuna was amazing. First of all the plating and color combination, stunning. The main course with the back and rib, really tasty. The back was for me the highlight of the menu. Just the right texture and bite. The wine pairing was really fitting. The red wine i think it was "imperial", was my highlight. Overall the service was friendly and on point. At the end after the courses there was some longer waiting times, but everything fine. I think Frankfurter Botschaft deserve third place for casual fine dinning.

A pleasant place to hang out with friends and also for banquets, etc. Excellent food in the form of small tasting portions was very tastefully served. Overall, the menu was very carefully prepared, including desserts. The wine and sparkling wine were of very high quality and I must say that we spent a really nice evening here. The place is nice with a view of the river. I recommend! I forgot to add. The service was perfect and kind.

A mosquito flew into my wine and the server replaced it and charged me for the replacement. Secondly my nephew was given steak but not given a steak knife . Instead he was using a butter knife. The GM found this funny and brought a knife minutes later. The GM lacks customer service skills and maybe needs to retire from the hospitality trade. Final insult was the GM promoted me for a tip. The pizza across the street looks alot better

Very nice restaurant and friendly staff, but the food wasn't excellent like I expected.

We came here just to have a drink before dinner, and I noticed they have a Michelin sticker on the door. The menu is around 70EUR for dinner set, not cheap but not bad for Michelin star food. I had a look and every dish had some Asian inspiration, seemed very interesting. The service was very good, the waitress took our coats even though we just had one drink, and the view over the canal is just incredible.

Great ambience, excellent service and good food. The main course of fish was cooked to perfection but it was too salty for me. The bouillabaisse was amazingly good and the wine card was also nice. Had a fabulous evening and would come back here again.

One word: Great! The food quality, the preparation, the presentation on the plate - everything is really good. Not top-notch, but close to it. However, they brought me a completely wrong main course in a multi-course menu. Big fail. But they found a way to compensate it and made me happy. Such a big error should not happen in this category for sure, but ... after all we're all just humans, and errors can happen. The question is how a restaurant deals with such an error. And they did more than well, so it was a great experience after all. Recommended.

This restaurant has a relaxing view of a marina. They offer large chairs and couches outdoors that look comfy. Unfortunately, they get quite uncomfortable after only a few minutes. There is an extensive list of expensive cocktails, but I suggest you stick with beer. We sampled a frozen margarita and mint julep, both of which were poor examples. The biggest problem with this place is the service is PAINFULLY slow. It was so slow, that I'm pretty sure a woman skipped on her bill after waiting too long. Expect to spend a long time here even if you're just coming for after dinner drinks.

The best thing about this place is the view. Food is ok, I was there for business lunch and it was acceptable. The staff, however, not so much. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, it took the staff over 2 hours to bring all the courses.

Frankfurt is not the greatest places to find a decent bite. So imagine my surprise when I was invited to dinner (admittedly this was last summer - so apologies for the late posting - but I actually went back again for more in the winter). I can't really describe the menu as a particular genre. It's modern European cuisine I guess as I had duet of chanterelles with baked parsley powder in two jars (read posh mushroom soup - both visits) and honey truffled ravioli with walnuts and porcini on visit 1 and a vegetarian lasagne on visit 2. The taste was BIG but the portions were SMALL and the price, somewhere in the middle of EXPENSIVE. I can't fault service though as it was attentive and sitting out on the veranda in the evening sun of August was relaxing. Sitting by the window in the winter, less satisfying but a lot warmer! All in all it works out to be around €50 a head plus wine, which isn't exactly cheap, but then when in Germany there are wurst (ahem) places to eat!

Came here for a quick drink and the view. I had a Riesling which was crisp and dry, but then moved onto the white burgundy. View was lovely and got to watch some runners going by. I'd like to come back for another drink when it's a little more busy.

Great Food, view, location and top service. Clear recommendation. I've been there already multiple times for business lunch and dinner.

I was here for a private event so food, service and drinks is going to be different. Yet, having read the other reviews, I can't say they did much better for a private event. Everything was super slow and service didn't really care much to do good work. Drinks were so so and as one commenter already stated, I'd stick with beer were I to go here. Food was a disaster. Yes, it was a buffet but they grilled meat and overcooked everything. They didn't grill to order but just barbecued everything and then let it sit out, overcooked, getting cold. Not one of the things I took from the buffet was in any way memorable. Even the salads and other sides available as part of dinner were bland. I would not come back here to eat to be honest. I did like the view though. Nice marina right in front of the place and if the weather is as nice as it was on the day we were here, I'd consider having a coffee or a beer and just hanging out. Otherwise, I wouldn't come here again.
