Frankie We Salute You!

As a non-vegan, I want to say that eating at this restaurant was mind-blowing. The food was so flavorful and delicious that even my husband (avid meat lover) was thoroughly impressed and had no complaints. The use of textures in the dishes was impressive and left me questioning at times what exactly it was that I was eating (how does one make celeriac mimic the texture of fish?!). Every single dish we ordered was delicious and flavorful in a different way. I highly highly recommend coming here to eat.

Tacky, unremarkable decor, hit or miss dishes & overall small portions/menu with a high price tag makes this restaurant one to gloss over. The dessert was amazing. The cauliwings were flavourful but a $160 dinner for four (no alcohol) was just too much. Especially considering the burger was just a patty with some chips and melted cheeze on a bun.

A mark of a good vegan restaurant: I visited with non vegetarians and they were not disappointed. The nachos were very un-nacho-like, but they were an explosion of flavour. The cocktails were amazing. I love what they’ve done with the space. The high ceilings are not ideal but design choices make it comfortable and stylish. I’d be surprised if it were not professionally put together. The service was perfect, and I don’t say that lightly. I look forward to visiting again to try the rest of the menu.

Food was delicious, the ambiance in the evening was lovely and soft. The pictures online made it look otherwise so we were pleasantly surprised. Wish the service was better. It felt so fast and rushed. But the food was great.

I wish I lived here so I could come here regularly. The food was AMAZING, wide selection to choose from (also gluten free). Creative menus and appetizers. Selection of local wines. Very friendly staff. The restaurant itself is so pleasant as well, nice decor & spacious seating. We loved it 💘

This review is long overdue. FWSY has to be my absolute favorite restaurant in Kelowna for a casual lunch or dinner. Their food is so delicious, fresh and they always have fun specials. I’ve tried various menu items and have loved everything I’ve tried. My favorite go-to is the Chorizo Ranchero Bowl with added grilled avocado. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the restaurant is clean and tidy. The restaurant is a good size and they also have a cute back patio. I would highly recommend stopping by for a yummy bite to eat!

AMAZING VEGAN food!!! We had the cauliflower main and soup of the day (lentil and cauliflower) and were amazed by how tasty it was. I went on my birthday and the servers were extremely sweet and kind. Love the vegan options and the name is unique also. Colourful and calm inside, I loved the energy

Had a wonderful vegan meal here. Angus was my server and his knowledge of the menu truly showed that he cared about his job and the people that he was serving. Decently priced and very delicious place. Recommend their Mexican burrito with cream of zucchini soup.
