Google
Great food and friendly service! Read up their good reviews before our visit and the food did not disappoint. The burger was super yummy with the mushroom patty. Everhthing we ordered tasted great, everyone in our group enjoyed their food. My kid has nuts allergy and they even have a clear allergy guide to their menu items which was super helpful to see what we could order for my kid and anything that could be substituted.

While visiting my son and his gf in Kelowna we decide to go for dinner. Being a vegan and gluten intolerant, my son’s gf is limited to places she can go and enjoy a great meal. So after a quick Google search we happened on Frankie We Salute You! And decided to go there. The menu offers a nice variety of plant-based foods creatively designed to appeal to anyone. And most are available with a gluten free option. I got there a bit early so I started with a lager and some of their Parmesan popcorn to munch on til everyone arrived. Once e they showed up and we looked over the menu, my son and I both decided to order the Cauliflower Mac n Cheese and added Chorizo to them. Our resident vegan went with their Avocado Power Bowl. They both enjoyed some Hibiscus Iced Tea. After our meal, my son and his gf decided to split a dessert and ordered a temptingly delicious looking Key Lime Pie! They inhaled it despite being pretty full so it was obviously very good The food was delicious and satisfying and the abundance of flavour and creativity of using plant-based foods to create such dishes is impressive! If you’re a vegetarian or vegan (or even if you’re not - like me) this place will not disappoint!

Google
Every single item of every single dish was perfect. We had mushroom burgers, chickpea fries, charred cauliflower, mushroom tacos, some cocktails and lemonades and key lime pie cheesecake. Rating this a 10/10 is the easiest thing to do. I wish them all the success and though I would love for them to open more locations, I also love the novelty and uniqueness of a standalone location. It’s one of the best (very close to the best) vegan restaurants I’ve dined at!!!

Google
It was so nice to be able to go to a fully plant based restaurant and know we can eat everything ! Highly recommend. We were a big party of ten, and still the service was excellent, the food and drinks came on time, and we were well taken care of. The drinks were all very good, both the beers and the cocktails we tried. We never went without a drink! The food was very good, but I believe it could use some perfecting. For example, the pasta dish could use some chilly oil to cut through the creaminess of the butternut; the tacos could use some sort of sour cream since the flavor of the mushrooms is very heavy; and the burger was just a bit basic. Everything was still delicious- it could just use some more embellishment to get to the next level. Such a wonderful experience !

Google
Last minute decisions got us into Frankie's, not realizing it was a Vegan restaurant. What was in reality a mistake, we sure got a gratifying surprise. Our server was very knowledgable and did verify the fact it was a Vegan Restaurant. Frankly, (no pun intended) I chose the place because I love the name. We got over the initial "Vegan" shock pretty quickly and started out with a savoury drink. The Raspberry Beret created a fuzzy warm feeling. Each of us selected a different meal. We all loved the garden fresh food, the ingredients were healthy, delicious and unforgettable. However, my husband had the Chorizo bowl, and as "meat" lovers there is no way to replace that Mexican "beef". The service was excellent, there is only one thing I personally didn't enjoy, the tiny we black bugs around our table, on our glasses etc, it could be the table were we sat which was facing the wall. Thank you to the server who introduced us to Frankie We Salute You. For all you Vegans out there, don't miss this one, the food is as fresh as the creative way they serve it.

Google
Visited a couple of times now when in Kelowna from out of town and it's one of my favorites. The dishes taste so fresh and flavourful. The cheeseburger is incredible and the lunch special is such a good deal. Will definitely keep returning when we're in town to try more of the menu.

Google
First time visit from out of town. Be sure to make a reservation! The menu is impressive including many gluten free options options and an extensive beverage selection. The chick pea fries and dipping sauce we excellent- crunchy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. My mushroom tacos had excellent flavour and I loved the crunch of it all with every bite! And then….. the dessert— wow!! Key lime cheesecake complete with lime pearls and whipped coconut was to DIE for!!!!

Google
This is an amazing place! If you’re looking to try something new and want to avoid the crowds in downtown, this spot is a must-visit. I’d rate it 10/10 for ambiance, taste, and service. They offer a variety of vegan options, making it a great choice for lunch dates. Highly recommend it for its exceptional taste!

Yelp
Everything is really tasty. Amazing, upbeat service. Great space with a high ceiling and well lit. There were so many dishes we wanted to try, but could only fit so much. Definitely the best of the lot were the chickpea fries, but everything was spot on. Food is really fresh, with well balanced flavours.

Yelp
Visited twice when visiting my sister, and it is always mind blowing. Service is fantastic. The team here are all so friendly and ready to give you some recommendations. I don't digest beans very well so I wanted to find something vegan that didn't have beans. They had a great bunch of options, though I still went for some things with beans. Their soup of the day is always fantastic. I love the burger too. It does have beans in there so it's not a dish I can eat the whole thing for, but I take a few bites from my family haha! They have an awesome pick 2 items too so you can actually try more at a good value. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here, and you've gotta try their fresh lemonades. Delicious!

Yelp
Absolutely adorable little place!! We had a bit of trouble finding it and ended up walking around the building, but the short stroll was absolutely worth it. The food is to die for!! Our waiter, Angus, was SO nice, and made wonderful recommendations. My mother and I got the Shiitake Pho and the Mushroom Pastor Tacos. The pho was fantastic and super fresh, and the tacos were so flavorful!! If you like mushrooms, I would absolutely recommend the tacos; I think they'll feature in my dreams for the next few years!! We're hoping to stop by again tomorrow for lunch before leaving Kelowna to try more of the menu!! Overall fantastic place, and would absolutely recommend :)

Yelp
I had a great time dining at Frankie We Salute You last weekend and would recommend it to anyone looking for plant-based food in Kelowna. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern yet cozy. I liked the comfortable bench seating. They have a lovely patio off the side which I'd have been happy to eat at if it wasn't 35 degrees outside. We saw some people having brunch there a couple days later and at that time of day, it was nicely shaded. Service was excellent. They put up with some disorganization on our end with one member of our group running late and treated us to some delicious truffles for a birthday we were celebrating. It was difficult to choose what I wanted to eat from the menu as everything sounded great but I eventually settled on a peanut satay. It was flavourful and filling. I also really enjoyed their mocktail selection - definitely try the basil apricot sour!

Yelp
The best meal I've had since Paris (yes France). I ordered the Pumpkin Ramen; Perfect flavour balance, flawlessly cooked, and the texture was sublime. Service was excellent. My only qualm is that I wish they would open one in Vancouver. Love this place to death! My husband had the tacos and said that they were exceptional as well :D HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious menu (every item was a hit - except one, and even that wasn't awful. Will explain in a minute) Very filling portions and every dish is well thought out and beautifully plated. All of the servers are kind and knowledgeable and it ambiance is lovely. We didn't sit outside as it was wasp season but it's equally nice inside. The ONLY mild disappointment was the cobbler dessert boasted a variety of Okanagan stone fruits but when it arrived there were only blueberries (not quite a stone fruit ). I wish the server would have informed us so we could have made an alternate choice, but a small bump in an otherwise delicious experience,

Yelp
What an amazing dining experience. Very courteous and attentive staff with an amazing menu full of vegan options. The only non-vegan items on site are creamer for coffee and egg (which is not on the menu) which can be added on request. I dined on during happy hour and began my dining journey with the Celery Root Tacos. It's battered and crispy on top of a fresh corn tortilla and bed of red cabbage and radish dressed with poblano chili sauce. Just the right amount of heat. I crushed both tacos. Happy Hour price was $14.5 and worth it. For my main I enjoyed their Bali Peanut Satay. Rice vermicelli with an array of shredded veggies swimming in a coconut creme broth. The flavor was so amazing that how could I be anything less than satisfied. $23. I'm a huge fan of berries and I just knew the Okanogan Fruit Cobbler $12 was going to be all about berries. It was topped with Cashew Vanilla ice cream. This dessert was nothing short of amazing. It alone was worth my visit to this restaurant. Then attentiveness of the staff and the kitchen show though in the total dining experience. I would drive 100 miles out of my way to done here again. Thank you for an amazing dining experience.

Yelp
Frankie We Salute You is hands down my favourite restaurant in Kelowna! Their diverse menu of vegan and vegetarian options, including brunch on weekends, makes it a great choice for plant-based food lovers like myself. They also offer their Sunday vegan sushi which is so unique in Kelowna and is absolutely amazing! In addition, I can't get enough of their cauliflower wings and the burger deals they offer on Wednesdays are a steal. To start we had the farmers market's tacos, and it was delicious. Love the cauliflowers and crunchy chips in the taco which gave some crunch. It's a perfect taco! For our mains, I had the Frankie "cheeseburger", the mushroom patty is very tasty, and the sesame fries are pure fried perfection. My husband opted for the chef garden sandwich with sesame fries, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. For dessert, we shared the Nanaimo bar cheesecake, and it was fantastic! The way they've taken inspiration from the classic Nanaimo bar and transformed it into a vegan dessert with cashew cream cheesecake is truly impressive. The taste was superb, and I highly recommend trying it! Beyond the delicious food, what makes Frankie We Salute You exceptional is the ambiance. It's a welcoming place, and the hosts and servers are not only friendly but also provide impeccable service. It's not an exaggeration to say that this is the best restaurant in Kelowna, period. If you're looking for a culinary experience especially vegan/vegetarian that will satisfy your taste buds and offers a warm atmosphere, look no further than Frankie We Salute You. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (Vegan) I can't rave about this place enough. Accidentally stumbled in here when I first got to Kelowna and boy did it impress! Every item on their menu is impressive and super flavorful. Not too salty and not too saucy. Just right! In the summer time, they have their patio opened and having food outside just feels so different. The ambiance of the place is lively and posh! Everything is clean and spacious. They've also kept their washroom super clean and it is an independent stall! In the winter time, you must get their soups! They're full of flavor and you can't go wrong with any of them. I had their cauliflower taco recently, I'm sure that's not exactly what they're called on the menu but you know what I mean. It was so tasty with a little salt and a little sour, perfect balance. Their staff are so friendly and always so cherry. Definitely come here if you're in town.

Yelp
Came here again and still can't be beat! They were super accommodating for our large group of 30! Everything we ordered was excellent. I am such a fan of the chickpea fries. The texture is so different, tastes like a yucca fry. A colleague I was with said she doesn't like chickpeas but loved these fries! The drinks are amazing here. They changed them up since last time I came 6 months ago. No matcha cocktail anymore. But I had the raspberry margarita and the honeydew margarita. I was blown away by both. Such strong, fruity but not artificial flavors. I was eating bits of raspberry and honeydew in the cocktail. And the salt they used on the rim was excellent too, they really covered it with lots of salt which I love. I had the same entree as last time the the Italian sausage with the farfalle and I adde crispy artichokes. I have no idea how the pasta is gluten free. It really thick and pasta-y. I wish I knew what pasta brand this is, I would buy it all the time. I love the texture of it. I wished I lived in Kelowna just for this restaurant.

Yelp
I am in no way a vegetarian or vegan. Was on vacation in Kelowna and after a hot afternoon of hiking, my friend and I wanted a late lunch where we would feel full but not stuffed or bloated. After reading a bunch of reviews we decided on Frankie, we Salute you. We were greeted with a seriously cute outdoor patio in the parkade area but opted to sit inside where the decor was simple but beautiful. There were so many options to choose from but I decided to get the lunch special with the Thai cauliflower wrap, strawberry field salad, and strawberry mint lemonade. The Thai cauliflower wrap was absolutely delicious served with a beautiful sauce that reminded me a little of traditional Thai peanut sauce. Strawberry field salad was packed with fresh vegetables tossed in a light citrus dressing that was a great balance to the bold tasting cauliflower wrap. The lemonade was tart and perfectly refreshing. I was incredibly satisfied with the meal and it did not make me miss meat at all! I appreciate how a vegetarian restaurant was delicious without relying on frying its food, or going overboard with its salt or spice seasoning. As I was full from the lunch meal, but couldn't resist ordering the truffle popcorn, I got it to go for the road and was not disappointed. Omg it was so good! Highly recommend for all to give Frankie, we Salute you a try. I commented to the server that we needed a location in Vancouver and she said that the owners actually established Acorn, another great vegetarian restaurant located by Main and King Edward in Vancity.

Yelp
The service was great and the food had so much flavor. I am a big meat eater but was very happy with my experience here. My wife is gluten free and she had so many options. The sweet corn queso is a must try app. The Chorizo Ranchero Bowl had so much flavor and left you feeling light. The grilled avocado bowl also was very good and is a little heavier with the rice. We were worried about taking our young kids but they had a mushroom burger and fries that they didn't realize was not meat. We told them after and they were shocked and I think will be more open to a veggie burger now. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and really enjoyed how much flavor it all had.

Yelp
Amazing plant based restaurant!! Was a bit confusing to find, but from out of town, so maybe locals are more familiar w/the set up of the area. Interior of restaurant manages to be both refreshing & relaxing w/color pops, twinkle lights, even the menu pages had a bamboo type texture. My aunt & I visited while dealing w/a family emergency; food & service were exemplary & didn't realize we lucked into a walk in seating. We had the Aperol spritzer,strawberry-mint-lemonade w/vodka, tacos, queso dip, gigli mushroom pasta & my personal love...soup of the day was a tomato bisque w/coconut curry drizzle, even got a second serving to go. Emotions effect appetite & Frankie's was food I didn't have to force myself to eat (I salute you!) Service was great w/full knowledge of food components, obvious enthusiasm for the restaurant, (loved that they were taste testing cookies when we came in). Our server, blanking on his name was great, attentive w/o hovering. Prices are more than fair for the product they offer & there are happy hour deals. If I lived locally, this would be a my go-to spot!

Yelp
I am not vegan but overall, I enjoyed the food. I liked the service and presentation and some of the food was great like the Tacos and Laksa. I thought the market soup was way too salty like the butternut squash. I think they are n the right direction but need to tone down salt on some dish.

Ally B.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about Frankie's! Everyone I've brought here (yes, even meat-eaters) raves about how good the food is! The menu is altered seasonally, and I've never had a bad dish. The cocktails and desserts are also fantastic. The staff is very attentive and welcoming as well. I would recommend making a reservation, and definitely check out their Wing Wednesday!

Yelp
An absolute gem of a place that deserves every praise it can get. I had seen the rave reviews of this place, and a friend of ours insisted we have to check this place out. It's difficult to get in, so definitely make a reservation before coming. A more upscale place, but still reasonably priced for the quality and portions you get. Almost everything here is vegan and there is a lot of choice. Our party of four started by sharing a couple rounds of cauliflower wings ($8 plus tax); one maple garlic and one Thai lemongrass. Both were awesome -- I slightly preferred the latter, as it wasn't as sweet. The cauliflower wasn't too battered like so many cauli wing dishes, but was cooked to perfection and spiced decadently. 5/5 My wife and I shared a small broccoli caesar salad ($10 plus tax). This came with lots of fresh romaine, chickpeas, and sublime adzuki tempeh that was somewhat smoky, quite umami and softly textured (some of the best tempeh I've had). We were really happy with this caesar salad. 5/5 For my main, I ordered the grilled artichoke tubettone ($18.75 plus tax), which comes with a massive portion of perfectly cooked pasta. The garnishes were sublime -- the grilled artichokes were probably the best artichokes I've had in a meal, the pesto was creamy, the zucchini added a nice crunchier texture, the vegan feta added more creaminess, and the antipasto added a tangier, subtley tomato-y character. Absolutely brilliant, creative, and filling pasta dish. As someone who doesn't usually order pasta dishes in restaurants, this was damn impressive. 5/5 My wife was extremely happy with her chorizo ranchero bowl ($19 plus tax), and from my tastes, I occur. This dish came with an assortment of different items, the highlights for me being the potatoes (especially the decadent creamy sauce it came with), the salty vegan chorizo, and the grilled corn, but everything was really nicely curated. I would've been really happy with this dish. 5/5 As if we weren't full enough by this point, we ordered a cheesecake ($10 plus tax) to split for the table. The "cheese" was constructed with smores, marshmallows, and cashews, and the crust was an almond one. You get little bits of strawberry as a garnish, and chocolate-covered corn flakes. I don't have a huge sweet tooth, but this was tasty in small amounts. 4.5/5 The service was absolutely top-notch: attentive, informative, and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. If you're in Kelowna, you must absolutely go out of your way to eat here.

Yelp
Such a cute spot, with great vegan options and super yummy drinks! I have been here a few times, and also ordered take out - always the same quality and always super fresh! Their chickpea fries are a fan favourite, as well as their Wednesday cauliflower wing night, and sweet corn queso! It is in a great location, very central and beside a spin studio, so if you're into it you can hit a spin class and then go for a healthy lunch! But.. can get busy, so make a reservation if you can.

Yelp
If this place could have 10 stars I'd give them 11. I was in town for four days and didn't find them until day 3, so I went twice. Was a little hard to find the first round cause it was like right behind every other business behind District Market, but there it was FWSY! in all its glory. Everyone was incredibly chill and nice and the ordering times were perfect. Day 1 I had the chickpea fries with the minty wasabi dipping sauce and the bolognese in a gluten free version. Day 2 I had the pumpkin ramen and the crisp for dessert. If I had another day in this town I would have several other items on the menu... because every flavor, texture, and the look of everything you order here is absolute mastery. One other thing to note is you better make a reservation. Both times it was just me and I lucked out, but because everything at this place is amazing everyone else must think so too and sometimes there's a line... so book a reservation to secure your spot for this gem of a restaurant.

Yelp
We had an unreal time dining here at Frankie We Salute You! The food was so good, the cauliflower wings were so crispy and tasty. We ordered the peking broccoli tacos, poke stack, the pumpkin ramen, and the a salad. Everything we had was so flavourful and delicious. We definitely will be back again. Our server/bartender Immanuel was super nice and made our experience here very fun. Definitely will be back again!

Yelp
Always have the best food and service !!! The whole menu being vegetarian is amazing and the chefs are so creative!

Yelp
Yes. Yes. YES. All the waiting and instagram stalking paid off. All the hype was lived up to and then some. This dinner was hands down one of the best plant based dining experiences of my life. I had the Bulgogi mushrooms and it was fantastic. The meaty texture of oyster mushrooms grilled in whatever heaven is there marinade makes this dish legit. The crispy sticky rice and spicy sauce round out one of the best experiences my tastebuds have had. My wife had the Laksa we salute you and judging by the fact that she barely shared a bite with me, I can say it smelled and looked divine! Even the simple yet satisfying pasta off the kids menu blew my daughter away. Greedily I also had the upside down lemon meringue dessert and only found room because it tasted so good! Go here, eat here, and you won't regret it.

Yelp
I heard so much about this place and wanted to go there. We had a couple out of town friends who happen to be vegetarian so perfect opportunity! We got there and were seated immediately and the inside was so cheerful and bright. We were having lunch and ordered lunch specials - I had the buffalo tempeh wrap, Hubs had the carrot lox sandwich and the soup was a spicy black bean. It was soooo fresh and tasty and while my soup and wrap had some kick, it was flavourful and didn't set my mouth on fire. I tried hub's sandwich and it was pretty good too. Our friends ordered the skinny sesame fries, soup and thai cauliflower wrap and they really enjoyed what they had too! A great place for both carnivores and vegetarians and can't to go there again! Yes, we salute you for such a lovely dining experience! Staff was very friendly, no rushing and we felt very welcome there!

Yelp
Such a great plant-based restaurant in Kelowna! The former chef use to work in Vancouver's Acorn. The food is so flavourful and delicious. The service was also really friendly. Would recommend you get the Lunch Special as you get to try different items on the menu and good price as well! I really liked the cauliflower wrap!

Yelp
I went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. We were a party of 6 and the restaurant seated us in our own little area at the back, which was nice. The restaurant is hard to find (or even be aware of!) as it's not visible from the street and in a tucked away location off Harvey. However, the interior is super cute, pretty clean lines, but still inviting and pops of color. There is quite a good selection of craft cocktails and a few beer and wine choices. Some non-alcoholic beverages made in-house as well. Apparently the owners owned Acorn in Vancouver. This is a vegetarian restaurant, but it is not pretentious and I think non-veggies would also enjoy it, speaking as a non-veggie myself. The menu is not huge, but has options that appeal to different tastes. Lots of appetizers, as well. We were there on wings night and the cauliflower wings were amazing. I would buy the sauces alone, if they bottled them, especially the ranch one that came with the Nashville hot wings. The other wings had more of a Japanese tempura vibe and were also good. The popcorn had a bit of a salt and vinegar flavor -- good if you're there for drinks but maybe not my first choice for dinner appies. For my main, I had the Laksa, which comes either vegan or vegetarian. It was a filling dish and the broth was quite thick and rich. The beans were cooked perfectly. I also tried some tempe from the avo bowl and it really well done, not like your usual tempe which can be meh. For dessert, we tried the molten chocolate cake, but the standout was the lemon meringue pie, which comes in a cute Mason jar with little "marshmallows" of meringue. Service was super friendly and ghe waiter was regularly around to refill water glasses. The only bump was a mix up with the bill being separated properly between different members of the party and the desserts were z not slow to arrive. Prices are standard for Kelowna. High in comparison to vancouver but expected for the Okangan. Portions are generous. You will not go home hungry! Will definitely be back and glad that something different has come to Kelowna.

Beautiful place, amazing service, delicious food. What more could you want? Really great to have this place in Kelowna. Will be back!!

Yelp
Completely and utterly blown away by this place. I am not vegan (I'm an omnivore) but my partner is vegan and we have been together a long time so I have ate at many many vegan/vegetarian restaurants all over the world and to me Frankie seriously ranks in my top 5 vegan restaurants I've ever at at. Truly delicious, unique, inventive dishes. Over 2 meals we tried the chorizo bowl, tempeh wrap, chickpea fries, queso and a few other things and all were really really tasty. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices reasonable. This is a definite 5 star place. I would recommend it to anyone regardless of if you're vegan, veg or neither.

Yelp
So good! It's not often I go to a restaurant, and really want to eat everything on the menu! I'll have to go back. Here's what we had, and I recommend it all: Appies: Carrot Popcorn, and Chickpea fries (both were fantastic) Mains: Bulgogi Mushrooms and Laksa, We Salute You! (The Laksa was good, and the Bulgogi Mushrooms were amazing) Dessert: the Upside down Lemon Meringue pie. Wow. And of course, Wine and Kombucha to drink. Definitely going back there.

Darcy S.

Yelp
Imagine you are in a whole city of food that is delicious to everyone else, but you just cant join in unless you order a boring salad or veggie burger. THIS RESTAURANT IS THE OPPOSITE!! It makes vegetarian food confident and fun, fresh and just gourmet. Like the options are delicious from the lunch staples of soups and salads and my absolutely favourite burger in town. The main courses take things to the next level and I can't wait to try their sushi.
google avatar

Brennan G.

Yelp
One of my favourite restaurants in the Okanagan. It is the perfect place for vegans/vegetarians to bring their omni friends because all the food is indulgent but still healthy. I have been floored by the variety and the skill behind the dishes. The price of the food is higher but if you're willing to spend $20 or so a dish you won't be disappointed. 100% recommend!!

Gill H.

Yelp
I love this restaurant! Fabulous veg/vegan food!! Great service!! My go- to restaurant when ever I want to eat out! Thanks for providing amazing Vegan food!! I'll be back there soon!!

N P.

Yelp
Ordered 4 takeout meals. 2 burgers and 2 chirazo bowls. Burgers were bland, buns have changed and were less than tasty. Fries were good but were few. The chirazo meal...1 had a moldy taste and had half the amount of food. I don't mind paying for good food but this is the 3rd time this sort of thing has happened at this restaurant. Most of the staff is polite but I believe it's the manager that is rude and dismissive....I am sad that i won't eat here again because it's hard to find good vegan food...

Yelp
Creative, delicious food! We were blown away by the carrot lox (for Sun brunch). Yummy cocktails, including the vegan Caesar with nori bacon, that was unlike anything we've ever tried. Service was warm and very fast. We felt safe here during the third wave of COVID-19 with amply distanced tables.

Yelp
I don't know how it could have gotten any better! From the service, the selection, the presentation, the ambiance, and of course the deliciousness of the food, this place gets a solid 5 stars from me! I went with a group of 7 people for a friend's birthday, and all of us had excellent meals - there wasn't one crumb left on any of our plates! These aren't poofter vegetarian/vegan meals for small appetites, and we all left thoroughly satisfied with a promise to return! Must try the Laksa We Salute You, the Frankie Burger, and the Bulgogi Mushrooms! And for desert, get your forks into the Molten Chocolate Cake! Mmmm so good! My mouth is drooling just thinking about it. As a side note, they also have an excellent selection of fine Okanagan wines to choose from - as soon as I saw the 8th Generation Sauvingnon Blanc on the menu, I knew this restaurant was a class above the rest. Prices are good too, for a glass of wine, an appie, and an entree I paid $35.00. Looking forward to getting back here again!

Yelp
Delicious food, nice atmosphere & kid friendly too. We had the soup of the day which was a spicy bean which was our favourite part of the meal.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food! Would highly recommend even if you aren't vegetarian. The corn dip is a MUST!

Yelp
We are not vegetarians but have returned knowing an interesting meal lies ahead. The Chef creates an varied menu. Please try the "unexpected" item. You will not be disappointed

Yelp
Wow! This place delivers on every level. The food is creative, perfectly spiced (so much taste), and pleasing to the eye. The drinks are incredible and very different from your chain restaurants. The servers were friendly, helpful and personable. We will be vack again and again. I want to experience everything on the menu!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Food was excellent. I had the squash sandwich and Caesar which was awesome. Would go back anytime I'm in town.

Yelp
We loved FWSY! It was our goto spot for vegan deliciousness. We had enquired about reservations during the time of government restrictions. Unfortunately, we were met with shaming language and othering vibes. Tasty food, distasteful customer service. We don't be back:(.

Yelp
This is a fabulous restaurant! We aren't vegetarian, but try to choose places offering different choices, as we get tired of all the typical options. Both our meals were incredibly tasty, and the service was first-rate. I'd highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Kelowna.

Yelp
This is my favourite restaurant in all of Kelowna. The food is amazing, if you haven't tried the pumpkin ramen you have to! It has beautiful decor and the staff are so kind!

Yelp
Super yummy healthy food beautifully prepared... feels like you are eating art! Awesome space, great waitstaff. Try the chickpea fries! I love everything I've had so far and aim to try everything on the menu

Yelp
The food is delicious but they will offer you a "vegan egg" that is a REAL egg with the pumpkin ramen, that clearly says vegan on their menu. We are vegan and ate the egg because we were curious even though it looked like a real egg. We called to ask about the "vegan egg" and instead of apologizing for the miscommunication the owner was rude, denied that her staff offered us a vegan egg, and hung up on us. We have lost trust with the other food.

Yelp
The food is fabulous! We started with chick pea fries and they were amazing. The roasted avocado bowl was delicious, garnished with roasted chick peas and tempeh bits and dressed with a delicious sauce. The prices were reasonable and the service and ambiance were great. I'll definitely make this a regular stop.

Yelp
FWSY has a cool vibe. The food is delicious - the sweet corn queso, laksa and charred avocado bowl were fresh and flavourful. Highly recommend for vegetarian/ vegans/ anyone looking for a tasty meal. Great wine and cocktail menu as well. We travelled from out of town and were looking for a unique Kelowna experience and frankies hit the spot. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
I thought this place was amazing at first. Food was all deep fried minus the lettuce in the salads (even the wraps are filled with greasy and soggy deep fried items), but 45 minutes after eating it you must feel gross as the grease comes back to haunt you. Then the second time visiting them they forgot a wrap and my side salad so I called them. They told me to come back in and they would rectify the situation... Two weeks later I call in to place a order and tell them about my missing items and give them my name and they say no problem.. I get to the store and the manager ( lady with brown hair) was there and would barely look at me and is yelling at the poor blonde and the brunette rang up my order at full price so I told her I was the one that called and notified her that my order was missing something weeks ago and she immediately scoffs at me and says I'm trying to con them.. Who ever the manager is should be fired. She is beyond demeaning and just a horrible leader and has terrible empathy for something they messed up in the first place. If you are looking for a pretentious, greasy over priced spot were the service and management is worse than Mc Donald's than look no furth
