"Hearing about its closure this month was pretty awful; Franklin Park, like the others, occupies a personal place in my dining memory and in the story of the city’s restaurants." - Eater Staff
Coronavirus in NYC and Restaurants: Mayor Says Half-Capacity Enforcement Starts Sunday | Eater NY
"I saw that Franklin Park became the focus of scrutiny after a viral photo suggested the bar was not operating at half capacity; owner Matthew Roff said they had posted the new mandate, were taking head counts throughout the night, and still could not control where people stood, and he told Eater that “they should have just made a final decision.”" - Serena Dai
This was my first time using metra and this station is quick and easy. I was staying at a nearby hotel because it was way cheaper than staying in the city and catching a quick Uber ride and then metra into the city was way cheaper than taking Uber all the way.
Ticketing is very easy and it's easy to pull up exact train times. Then when you get dropped off here, signage is good and the train was on time.

Y'all need to figure out the train schedule. It shouldn't take a half hour to get across the tracks.

Good luck if you have to access this station from across the south side of the tracks. The freight train traffic makes it hit or miss. Oh, and the train is always late.. by always i mean 97% of the time, obv.

No way to get across when a freight train is parked on the other side for an hour. Good thing Metra trains only come every 2 hours on Sunday. So lame.

Will not let you park overnight, very inconvenient if you work midnight shift. Cars in parking lots don't bother anyone
