Anyone who says the pizza isn’t good doesn’t know good pizza. Variety and quality are undoubtedly top notch. Service has always been top notch for me as well, but even if they were rude I would keep coming back because the food is SO good.

Tried it out yesterday and it did not disappoint us. We had three delicious slices (Lasagne, Meatlover, and mascarpone) and will definitely comeback. Very friendly service and extremely fair prices. Well done!

Classic NYC slice experience. I used to take places like this for granted but they’re getting harder to find. No BS, run by hardworking brooklynites. Good sauce and crust. Takes cash and credit but bring a few bucks to tip

I just passed by and found this pizza place for the first time. The staff was friendly and nice. A regular slice and water bottle were $5.5 totally and I enjoyed eating the pizza.

We were in NYC for a couple days and tried as much pizza as my stomach can handle. This was the BEST pizza we had the whole time! Specifically Grandma's pizza. I couldn't get this pizza out of my head the entire time. This place has the tomato sauce-it's ON POINT no joke. Dino takes care of his customers and it's all a labor of love. The guy lives and breathes recipes. He's got it on his mind. It's an art form at this point. I'm happy I got to taste his pizza and meet him! It's not a fancy place by any means but the pizza is the best I've ever had. Great customer service, phenomenal food! You won't be disappointed if you come here.

Straight trash pizza! No flavor, cheap ingredients and terrible customer service. They're always drunk on the weekends, exchanging free pizza for drinks with the bars next door..cheers! Big guy making the pizza spends majority of the time on the can & smoking and never washes his hands. The third rate counter girl Angie is always drunk..cant blame her. Her boss Dennis only pays her by cheating on his wife with sweaty penis pie. Avoid this sad place and go around the corner or diagonally to a better and cleaner experience. Gross!!

The place is very hole in the wall, but the pizza is good. Not the best I ever had, but whenever I come here it satisfies my pizza craving. The people that work there seem to be characters, but are fun enough. Decor is a hodge podge (I think I saw an ax on the wall?). No idea when it opened, but it seems old and like it's seen some things. Definitely it's a take out spot. There's maybe two tiny tables, but it's not a dine-in spot. I prefer this to some of the other places in the immediate area.

A real hidden gem for Pizza Shop lovers There's a handful of pizza places in the area but this one is my favorite hands down. Good prices, such a friendly staff, an the dough! The dough...it's so soft but perfectly crunchy. Especially if you get the Stromboli's but this also applies to the crust. They also have some sort of secret recipe for their tomato sauces because I have never tasted ones like what they have. Has a good natural deep flavor

Old school Italian pizza, not many of these spots still around, so I'm happy to be able to get a good old fashion Brooklyn slice locally.

Franklin Pizza is a quick and easy pizza spot that, thankfully, does not tend to have a long line. I love their eggplant parmesan pizza and recommend it to everyone. Slices come out hot and fresh and staff is extremely friendly. Not much I can ask for at a pizza spot.

Dive neighborhood pizza joint. A little disheveled nut gives a bit of character. Talk to the pie maker and he can make what you want.

After a 5 minute warm up ‍ pizza was cold .. cheese not even melted .. sausage slice looks like a regular slice ..

Best Buffalo chicken slice I've ever had. So good!!! Also great chicken rolls. They definitley cook their chicken well. The sauce is so good too and the crust is the perfect thickness. Small spot so I've always taken out. Good service

I was heading to a show at the nearby Brooklyn Bazaar and was really looking forward to my usual Greenpoint stop of Triangolo's Pizza down on Manhattan Avenue but my friend didn't feel like walking and pointed out that pizza was down the block as well so there we were at Franklin Pizza. Now I've passed this place before but have never gone in despite always walking right by to go to the Brooklyn Expo Center. My visit was a quick one and I ordered a single plain slice and a can of Sprite and since we assumed the show was opening the doors at any moment, my friend and I ate quickly so we could get on the line to enter the nearby club. That was a mistake since I could have even had another 2 slices based on how long they made us wait. That being said I did enjoy the pizza and might for sure find myself down here eating again the next time I need to go to the Expo Center. I don't think I will be back to the place until next Spring but its marked off as a side step to the planned adventure. The slice was a nicely sized one and I always like that. Nice work guys.

Got food poisoning from a slice and chicken parm sandwich here. Sandwich was cold inside when I got it. Neither tasted good, and they left me feeling awful the next day.

Came in for a slice, left with throw up on my shoes. It's 11pm on Friday and it's fairly slow, I walk in and waited for help for over a minute as the gentleman had a very important phone call. (Rough start but no big deal) Ordered a few slices, as I stepped away from the counter I noticed I had been standing in a very unappetizing pile of throw up. It was right in the middle of the room literally in front of the counter. (Okay that's very gross but it's Friday night, I get it) I asked for something to clean my shoes with and I was handed a single paper towel. I was trying to step on the paper towel to clean my shoes. I didn't want to wipe my shoes with my hands, I was about to eat a slice of pizza. As I'm stepping on the paper towels the other employee yells and gestures aggressively to clean up the paper towels on the floor.. HOW ABOUT YOU CLEAN THE THROW UP IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR PIZZA SHOP. At this point I completely lost all desire to eat Franklin st pizza. Horrible cleanliness and shop awareness by the workers. Horrible customer service from start to finish. A very preventable cleanliness mistake could have been amended by some common courtesy for a customer.

3 Issues at hand - Health concern, place is not very clean upfront, God knows what happens behind the counter. - I got the chicken ranch slice. Toppings and the sauce looked weird and it was a little spicy. Gave me acid reflux within the next 2 hours. Dough below average. - Too expensive for a walk-in place ($5 slice in 2022).

My kid and l liked their Margherita and Chicken BBQ pizza as well as their beef patties. Their water with mixed berry essence was good too. They had one table inside and we sat at a table outside for covid social distancing.

My girlfriend got a slice and we left. Four blocks later, after taking a bite of her Marguerite slice, I realized the folly of my ways and busted a quick 180 to get myself one. The fresh mozzarella makes this pizzeria the move. Trust me -- as a NY native, I'm a pizza expert.

It doesn't look like much. Doesn't smell like much. It wasn't... much. It was stale, dry and bland. Probably top 5 worst I've ever had. Oh, they didn't have plain cheese slices but they had Sicilians so we opted for two. We should've walked out. It was disgusting. i hated every single bite but was so hungry i ate a few bites. I didn't finish and it most definitely was chucked..I literally had to review it, it was that bad. People saying they've been there years are crazy and know nothing of "washing money" because it's the only plausible reason they're still in business.

Unsanitary, dude touched my food with his bare hands after touching money. Have someone else handle the cash, use gloves! DIRTY

One slice of ricotta and spinach and one plain slice were ordered after escape room experience. You can't swing a cat without hitting a hipster with a Bjorn. The pizza was sitting on display and then reheated. I thought my slice was pretty good, a hair above average. It got the job done to satiate me. The interior has cool murals to look at. If you're in a hurry and crave cheese, I can see why this place would be a go to spot but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. The layout is tiny so the tables are smushed together and I sat right by the door. The napkins are flimsy.

Kind and fast service but poor quality pizza. Paulie gees is on the same block if you want a killer slice. Franklin step your pizza game up!

More pricey than I thought it would be, but Franklin makes a tasty sausage slice. They have wi-fi and some not-so-clean clean tables. So I guess they want you to hang around for a bit. But not for the television. It's ten feet off the ground, so it's obvious it's for the entertainment of the guy stuck behind the counter all day. The pizza has a good crust and good quality toppings. I just wish it was served hotter. I was in no rush. I was in the middle of the 6 hour process of waiting to have my book signed at WORD just up the block. I hope someone got Allie Brosh a whole pie. She was a trooper. I was just glad Franklin Pizza was open because there isn't much else besides a few bars and a bodega within easy walking distance in the area.

cool place, stopped by to grab a slice or 2 and ended up with 3, lots of great choices and i couldn't choose. there is also some dope paintings that really set a dope tone, long story short great pizza, great place 5 stars would highly recommend!!!

Needed a quick bite during a BoroughCon intermission and decided on this place. Remember back in the day when "grabbing pizza" meant a hot, greasy, street experience? None of this flatbread, honey and avocado experimentations with artisan sparkling mineral water on the side stuff? WELL IT STILL EXISTS. I took a step in here and SMELLED the joint and knew I'd be getting old-school, New York-style, STREET PIZZA and I was not disappointed. A bite of a classic Pepperoni slice had my mind traveling back to half-days at elementary school where your parents had to send in money for your pizza slice and if your mom gave you money for TWO slices, then you were a BOSS. The guy behind the counter was friendly, approachable, and super helpful and accommodating to the other parties who entered looking for pies to bring back to the convention. Keep a lookout for the pizza joints like these: small, hole-in-the-walls where you can smell the grease wafting from the oven. They're the real deal.

Meh! I'm an interest to at least try all of the pizza in Greenpoint, we tried Franklin Pizza. I got a slice of sausage and my husband a slice of ham and pineapple. It was just okay, not bad not good just edible!! It definitely needed salt, I'm huge on seasoning!!!

They have some cool topping combos here, but $4 + seems a little steep for average slice shop pizza. The shop was nice and clean though and they have a lot of Roberto Clemente memorabilia hanging up, so that won over my heart.

Writing this review because of the exceptional delivery. Ordered a slice and salad through yelp, it showed up within 30 minutes. The guy was very friendly, and most importantly the pizza was still hot. Also the salad had nice big veggies. Thx fam.

Small authentic mom and pop run shop. Great pizza and selection for its size. The lady running the shop was a sweetheart. If you want a true NY pizza experience this is the place!

I've o my been living here for a short period of time. Finally found a pizza spot where you get all the basics for a good price and also get very very good food!!! Pizza never fails to be perfect and I recently ate their chick parmesan sandwich...it was great! Can't wait to try more soon!

I'm your average client. I stop by a handful of times each year and have always had a solid slice. Nothing special. Typical slice we've all come to expect in New York. Recently the sauce has been very bad. I think they are dumping it out of a can. High sugar, bad taste. Not sure what's going on here. Do you think you can slip this by the good people of Greenpoint?

Ordered via seamless..Ordered at 8:31pm, order was confirmed at 8:37pm....It arrived at 10:04pm...I live exactly two and a half blocks away.... What really got me angry is that when I called in twice, Yvette (one of the managers as she said) must have thought that I lack intelligence...As you know many intelligence lacking people think this way...She kept lying, and blaming everyone else...If she would have told me that they were so busy or that they forgot, I would understand....but unfortunately Yvette never understood the meaning of responsibility....pity...

$4 dollar slice and barely a place to eat or sit, not to mention it is cash only. I ordered two margarita slices and two garlic knots which were old and stiff not the way garlic knots should be and paid 9 dollars. The pizza also was just average. For 5 more bucks I can go sit down and Pauline gee which pizza is made in brick over an get a whole pie. This business has a great location and is convenient but doesn't mean it's okay to rip people off especially if you don't even accept CC or offer decent place to sit. Probably won't be back.

Delicious NY pizza. Just the right balance of sauce and cheese. Nice and fresh hot and juicy oil dripping down the side of your hand as you bite into your slice I highly suggest ordering a full pie as it tastes better than just getting a slice that they might have to "reheat" before serving to you. Can never go wrong with a full pie from this joint.

I had the chicken , bacon , ranch slice! Mad good! Quiete area. Tons of dive bars near by!

We really enjoyed this place. It was clean with a few tables. The pizza was very good and inexpensive- I recommend the eggplant with ricotta. I wouldn't travel all the way to Brooklyn just to go here, but if you are in the area and want to grab a quick bite to eat, it is worth a stop!

I love this place for quick lunches. They're always super nice. Slices are still huge, and they're toppings never disappoint. The mushroom slice and eggplant/ricotta slice are particularly amazing. Though in that case, I wish there was a little bit less eggplant (meh)... and it's super filling. I'm really looking forward to trying the stuffed shells, but worried that they'll just provoke a mid-day food coma at work. :/ I also hear they have a delightful buffalo chicken slice, but unless they jump on the Vinnie's bandwagon and make it buffalo "chik'n," i cannot personally attest. only 4 out of 5 stars, because it's not the best pizza ive had in nyc, nor is it in the top 5. and i'm kind of miffed about the shakers they use. The red pepper flakes are too big to actually fit through the slots, so you end up having to use "pour" side and, well, that doesnt always end well. also, i don't think they take cards since there's an atm machine in there.

Pizza quality is only 2 stars- I'm giving then and extra star because I noticed Improvement the second time. I agree it is a great addition to my neighborhood, but, with great service and location- one must not forget the responsibility to deliver. A good pizza- and this pie was very disappointing- especially after enjoying the decor and talking to the guys. I fear that the quality of this place will hit the glass oven- when the pizza taste will become stagnant and the demoralized slices will underachieve for ever In other words- this place has potential but rift now is not that great

While I was waiting for my order inside the pizzeria with my mask on, there was a guy whose order was ready and he walked in without a mask and paid. Not only did they not tell him to put a mask on, they discounted his price because they knew him apparently. I will not be getting pizza from here ever again seeing as they don't give a shit about their customers. And pizza wasn't great either.

I'm something like a certified pizza expert and the pizza here is extra dope, makes you remember why dollar slices are the enemy.

My mail-sorter companion and I were supposed to be meeting Peter D. at Paulie Gee's for a food crawl. Instead, we showed up late and chased each other around Brooklyn. Since we still had to eat, we stopped into this hole in the wall place nearby. It was surprisingly awesome. We had a huge piece of sausage pizza (which had a great crust), a beef patty (because I am Jamaican) and garlic knots. The knots were a little greasy but not bad. The kicker was the price. All that food, plus two drinks, was $8.50. When we were told the price, we both exclaimed "$8.50?!" Chada actually fainted. The owner started apologizing as if it was too high, but we explained that our shock was a good thing.

Brand new pizza place on Franklin. Great location, needed addition for cheap quick bites in the neighborhood. Limited seating, pretty small space but has everything you need; good pizza. Got two slices of cheese; first thing I noticed was the spread of cheese from corner to corner of the slice which by the way are big slices. It looked a little greasy, but that's okay. Crispy crust, good sauce, and tasty cheese. Looking forward to ordering a whole pie soon.

I wanted to like the food here but I couldn't. How do you screw up meatballs and pasta? It's probably my fault for not ordering pizza. Also, I'm almost positive the meatballs were only 50% meat. Disgusting.

This pizza is not that good. The cheese (except for the margarita) sucks. The pies are bizarrely oily. The space is nice. Pizza here is a few steps down from your average corner slice shop.

They have exciting combinations that you can't find anywhere else. The people are really nice and there is no minimum to use a card. The Buffalo Chicken and Greek Salad slice are amazing and they take creations from customers too. Pretty cool.

I love this pizza!!! The sauce is just a touch sweet (the way I like it) and the crust is doughy with lots of taste and just the perfect amount of crispy. So many pizza places make pizza that looks great, but tastes blah, with a dry, breadstick like crust- such a waste of dough (and calories!). Pizza eaters of the world continue to buy slices with the expectation that it will taste like Franklin Pizza's slices. Stop chasing the pizza dream, go to Franklin Pizza and live it!
