Franklin's Citrus Farm was founded in 2010 when the owner Joe Franklin began to grow Satsumas, a type of mandarin orange. Today, the farm has grown to 75 acres with over 11,000 trees, and it also grows other citrus fruits such as Sweet Georgia Kisses or Kishu mandarins, Gold Nugget mandarins, Ruby Red grapefruits, Meyer lemons, Tango tangerines, Georgia tangelos, and others.
Franklin's Citrus Farm sells their citrus fruits through several channels: their own on-site farm stand, mail order or through their website, and through many farmers markets throughout the country.
I ordered a few bags of Franklin's citrus fruits through an online farmers market. The mandarin oranges peeled easily, were juicy, and had a sweet and tart flavor. A grapefruit was accidentally sent to me, but it was large, juicy, and flavorful.
