Franks & Fries

Nice small to medium sized hotdog, soft bun, tasty BBQ sauce, and affordable. Enjoyed the #11 grilled cheese hotdog. Great choice for a lunch in a cute alleyway with festoon lights. There is a few tables to sit at with umbrellas for shade. Returned for dinner on another day, but the hot dogs (and the buns) weren’t very hot compared to the first one we tried here.. so I guess it depends on the day as to what you get. But would still recommend it if you want a cheap place to grab a bite to eat.

This place is AMAZING! I especially loved their deep fried ice cream sandwich. A beautiful blend of ice cream on the deep fried bun topped with mochi balls and coconut flakes glazed with honey.

Staff were the first thing that caught my eye, very friendly and even cracked a few jokes. The food was amazing. The presentation beat my expectations and the taste did even more. The place right outside was also really relaxing and a great place to eat in.

We actually didn’t eat here. It was the dirtiest place I’ve ever been, somebody had puked outside and they didn’t cleaned up. It was all over inside their lobby floor. They had an employee walk-through it, grab paper towels and wipe the bottom of his feet off and say somebody needs to clean that up and then to continue to walk back to cook food. At that moment l we decided we did not want our food and we would eat someplace else. So so so so gross! I absolutely would not recommend. The health department needs to shut this place down!!!

Aye the hotel dogs was on point and I like the different verities. It would be 5 stars, but the customer service isn't the best. A great after hours spot.

Hawaiian hot dog was sweet, with pineapple. NY style hot dog tasted like regular one. It’s not crowded place for having snack in small yard

If you're high right now reading this, then you're probably doing some research before pulling the trigger on an Uber Eats order. I say go for it. Everything was really good. If could make one small suggestion, I would add some classic pizza sauce to the Pizza Dog. I felt like it was missing something. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

Was excited to try this place.. I got the yakisoba glizzy. While it's flavorful it's literally half a hotdog..? Like first glance it looks super inviting until you take a bite lol I'd rather go to a gas station and get a full hotdog for like $2.. pretty disappointed

The ambiance is very cozy and homey just due to the fact that the business doesn't have seats and tables inside. However, the food IS SOOO GOOD and service is amazing! I went to Hawaii for vacation and learned about the original owners of Frank and Fries as well as their owner, ShinGo! He was super sweet and I loved chatting with him and George! I would definitely say stop by and also LEAVE A GOOGLE REVIEW FOR FREE FRIES!

Simple and inexpensive. Good portions. Was a great place to get a bite to hold me over until my main dinner. Never seen onions in a package. I had to try it and the onion pack was good on my fries. The staff were nice.

Known for their Nathan's hotdogs.... But I just got the jalapeño cheese fries. Wasn't feeling like eating anything hotdog. I'd say it's okay, nothing too special with it. Should've got the glizzy tho! Giving it a 4 star for the efforts of the guys making my food.

We wanted some franks and fries because of the reviews and it was late at night. But obviously we the kids running the place didn't feel business was as important as their video games. See video below....

Hidden Gem in Waikiki located at Kuhio Marketplace next to Kono 's . The owner Shingo is always friendly and accommodating. He made great suggestions on the menu as well . 100% all beef Nathan's Hotdogs . They have many varieties to choose in toppings . Delicious onion rings always hot and fresh . Made to Oder . Frank and Fries has open for about a year now . A must try for a delicious lunch or snack after the beach . The hotdogs has a wonderful grill taste just like when you have a back yard BBQ and grill the hotdogs on your grill . Very tasty and flavorful . They offer combo meals which are great choices . Chili and nachos are on the menu as well .There is outdoor seating at the courtyard or you may take it back to your hotel to enjoy . Thank you Shingo for the wonderful recommendations. I definitely will return to try the other featured items on your menu . Aloha and mahalo

Sorry fellas. Waiting forever. And longer... No one else was awake by the time we got our food. This was a disappointment. I would have loved the food back when I was hungry. Also makes you wonder why your food took so much longer than everyone else's. That's the star you don't even wanna give. But try it, you may not feel profiled.

Service was good but not didn't feel confident enough to eat my hot dog. I think the owner still has a bit of work to do here.

Hot dogs not great. If they warmed the bun. It would make a huge difference. I like the guys who work here. So I'm giving them 5 stars. They're my stars and I can do what I want with em.

Best hot dog in Waikiki! I was excited for this place to open, because I love hot dogs. They use 100% all beef Nathan's hot dogs. I ordered it with deli mustard and onion sauce. So delicious!!! I saw on their Instagram that they added even more sauces to top off their franks :,) which means I will have to go back very soon!! Parking was pretty simple for me! I was lucky to find street parking and walked right over. They are tucked away. If you know Matcha stand Maiko, they are a few doors down.

Super friendly service and good fries. There were a lot fries but we ate 1/2 before taking the picture. Spiced nicely.

Place sucks. Looks good. Everything was cold. Didn't even get my whole order and what I did get it was wrong

Stopped in tonight for a quick bite. Good price, friendly service, and tasty food! The guy working had a great personality as well! I appreciate the thank you on the Togo box. Something so small can have such a large impact. Small touches like this are the difference between good customer service and great customer service! Looking forward to my next frank!

Eddrick did amazing serving us near closing! Making our order from scratch and taking care of me and my girl! Overall a 11/10 experience and can't wait to come back the next time i visit O'ahu.

I ordered Loaded Bacon Fries for $10 and I got regular fries. The rest of the food was good.

Love seeing young adults work, love the food and amazing customer service . I just didn't like when I ordered my food the music was loud and somebody was playing the game right next to the counter other than that it was good.

Ordered via uber eats i got the chili dog and chili fries. I had to throw the fries out bc there was a hair in it. the hot dog was good which is why my review is at 3. Wish they toasted the bun tho.

Solid hot dogs for affordable price. I would recommend for hungry beach goers or those who had great time at local bars.

such a disappointment..my husband and i went here about 20 mins ago.. workers were playing video games.. when my husband was ready to order, one of the workers stood up to help him, but the other one continued playing, and even had the nerve to say "hurry, you're gonna make me die in the game". Like seriously?? Are they getting paid to work there or to play video games.. it's so upsetting
