can’t say enough about our server Rosie, she is always very friendly and caring, she always makes our visit great !! The Reuben sandwiches come in 2 sizes half pound and 1 pound, the sandwich in the picture is the 1lb. The chicken Caesar wrap is the best you’ll find, franks deli is the original creator of the Parmesan crusted chicken Caesar wrap ! There’s others trying to copy it but franks is the best ! The bowl of soup is bigger than anywhere else too !

I usually come here for my corn beef. This is my first time eating at the restaurant. The food was good. However ,from where I was sitting, you could see the cooks. They had on black gloves, one of them reached in his pocket with those gloves also pulled out his phone scroll through his phone with these same black gloves also left the kitchen with the gloves and handed someone else a piece of paper. To top it off, he went back to the kitchen and made egg whites where he used the same gloves too separate the yolk from the egg. So although the food was good, it’s not very sanitary in my opinion.

I have been a repeat buyer of this chicken Caesar wrap and usually have dined in or taken out myself. I’m visiting home and decided to order and as I am close to done I chewed on something very hard, I then unwrap the wrap and it was ROCK and there was MUD smeared in the inside of my tortilla under the lettuce and chicken. Based on how this is cooked and seared, it is not feasible that it was tampered with in delivered without me noticing it was handled also being it practically is seared closed. As you can see I took a picture before as I was excited, this is not about the money but how does something like this even happen and how much did I consume without me noticing. I will never be a customer of this place again, I’d steer of this place.

I think they may have the best wraps in metro-Detroit (at least the best that I've tried!). Love the greek chicken wrap + fries. The side is definitely big enough to share!

Tried the caesar wrap on two different occasions. The first time it was not great. The chicken was dry even with the sauce, but they got it right the second time.

Let me tell you what amazing is an understatement. Between the taste of the food customer service and even the customers inside helpful friendly and overall very welcoming. To the gentleman who I was talking to that makes the potato salad fresh. That was so good it made my mom jealous. Thank you again and if you have never been here. You need this in your life!

Leaving 5 stars because normally I LOVE their Caesar wraps. That being said, here is my friendly suggestion for Franks: PLEASE fix the lettuce issue and go back to whatever lettuce you were using before. The last few times we’ve gotten a wrap, the lettuce is dark green and old looking or brown. It is pretty much inedible. It used to be so so so so good though!!!! Please let me know when this issue is fixed so I can come back. Thank you!

Wow....just wow. I found a truck topper in the area which was 2.5 hrs from were I live and saw a social media post on this place so decided that was going to be the luch stop. Did not disappoint. Met Vince and he was so gracious on recommending the Chicken Ceasar wrap....my friend called it transcendent. It truly was. We also got the Ruben and it melted in our mouths. Pricing was so affordable. This is a must stop if you can swing it. If you are looking for cooking meat or spices they can take care of that also. 10 out of 10 worth every penny and moment.

SO GOOD!! The other i went with said their meals were amazing too. Huge rave around the chicken ceaser wrap! the crunchy outside was a great touch. we went on a busy detroit lions weekend but got a table of 4 really quick (they only had to wipe it down and we were seated right away). Lots of families. The staff was amazing the whole time too! answered our questions since it was our first time here. I'm only removing one star because my omelette has mushrooms and swiss cheese but the mushrooms didn't seem cooked since they were harder than typical omelette fillings. and there were a TON of them too.. more mushroom than anything else really. the pancakes were still delightful!! i'm so glad that's an option for a side! again, only my omelette wasn't what i was thinking but everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals and we were all full leaving. :) They mentioned half the wrap with fries would've been perfect since we had leftovers.

Yes, the chicken Caesar wrap is as good as they say! Full of creamy Caesar and Parmesan flavor, a Parmesan crusted wrap and flavorful grilled chicken. I was nervous the lettuce would be soggy but it's fresh and adds a nice crunch. Phenomenal! It's not all about their chicken Caesar wrap though, franks has amazing sandwiches, salads and soup! The corned beef on an onion roll is great, using fresh wigleys corned beef. Even when the place is packed, the workers are nice and the food comes out fresh and hot!

Heard about this place online and it definitely lived up to the hype! My friend and I split a crispy chicken wrap and the chicken Caesar wrap, and they both were phenomenal. The flavor was just incredible for both, wouldn't have changed one thing about them! Lots of seating options inside, definitely classic deli shop vibes. The service was okay, we came at like noon on a Thursday and it was packed, I know that they are very busy right now so we figured that would be the case so we didn't mind, will absolutely be returning soon!!

Came here after being influenced on TikTok for the Caesar Wrap. The place is really spacious and staff were all very friendly! The crust on the wrap is definitely was made it for me. a little overhyped but still a solid Caesar wrap! Fries had good seasoning as well. Will come back.

Don't knock it till you try it! Had to see what all the hype on tik tok was about! Now I know!!! The Caesar chicken wrap was great! Everyone loved it! However, I personally would hold the sauce to be put on the side. Service was nice and knowledgeable. The deli looked like a cozy warehouse! Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu!

How can something so basic like a "Chicken Caesar salad wrap" be so incredible? Well make the dressing sooo cheesy and add even more cheese on the outside of the wrap. When I tell you this is the BEST Chicken Caesar wrap I've ever had I am not lying. Something about the diced up chicken and parmesan cheese in the wrap, they have perfected the wrap. 10/10 would recommend. I crave this daily!

The chicken caesar wrap is so amazing. Crispy, flavorful and generously filled! The chicken is seasoned to perfection. So yummy!! I just had it yesterday and I'm already craving it again LOL

Got a DoorDash from here while studying in Detroit and was blown away by the Chicken Caesar Wrap! It's the best one in Michigan without question!! 10/10

Such a great family run restaurant! Food was delicious, prices were reasonable, seemed like the entire family worked there! A must stop before, during or after the Eastern Market!

Was doing business in the area and wanted to eat before heading home. Drove by and saw they served Wigley's corned beef. So we gave it a try. Clean dining area. The service was fantastic. There was a special half sandwich and soup. I ordered the pastrami and Swiss on rye and corned beef and cabbage soup. The pastrami was sliced thin and very lean the cheese melted over toasted rye. Very flavorful. The soup was excellent probably the best cabbage soup I've ever had. The corned beef was lean the broth had excellent flavor the cabbage wasn't soggy. Also severe with a crisp pickle spear.

If you're looking for a good carry out option during lunch then Frank's is a great option. I ordered the club sandwich with a side of mozzarella cheese sticks and everything was delicious. My order was prepared and ready in enough time for me to pick it up and still enjoy my lunch break. The club speaks for itself, it's meat packed and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The mozzarella cheese sticks were nice and hot and gave me the satisfying cheese pull that everyone loves. Definitely recommend this spot and maybe next time I will dine in!

First time here. I've always seen the location whenever I visit eastern market. I had pastrami sandwiches on onions roll with the bean soup. It was a bit dry the pastrami. I took home a corn beef sandwich on onion roll. It was good.

This place has great portions sizes for the money and everything I tried so far has been really good. I work in eastern markets so it's great to have good food very close by.

First time visit. I love it! The service was great, the food delicious! I will definitely be back. Quaint little counter seating area by the kitchen was interesting to see orders going out. The staff were great with suggestions and explanations of some of the dishes we saw going out.

First time and what a find! Best Reuben I've had in years and they are humongous and delicious. Husband had the Philly Steak Sub and throughly enjoyed it. Wonder waitress service outstanding two people I need to mention are Al and Zoe.

Really great customer service and coffee! Jay was my waitress and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. They have an option where you can substitute turkey sausage for the turkey lunch meat in the omelette. I'll definitely be revisiting for lunch.

So I waited to review after my first visit because that was breakfast and I had to try lunch. Small place with a meat market in the back. The breakfast was good, I had corned beef hash-its a corned beef joint. Lunch is crowded and slow. It took thirty minutes to get my order, not that big of a deal except I was told it would take 10. The staff is really nice but almost overwhelmed. So lunch was the 1/2 pound corned beef on rye with Swiss. This is an area of expertise for me, I am a lifelong lover of this Sammy. I thought the bread had too much butter and made the Sammy a bit greasy. The meat was piled high and thinly sliced-I maintain corned beef is best with about 1/8 inch slices or slightly thicker. Over all the meat is good but the bread was lacking.

Delicious corned beef and pastrami sandwich. Toasted bread, melty Swiss and steaming hot. Very mild rye bread. Great way to cap off a trip to the market.

Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are not. May be better to eat in, than to get carry out To me, most items are overdone, like toast with black edges, or overdone dry sausage links

Frank's is in my neighborhood but until a few months ago I had never been in. Big mistake. I love this lunch spot. I love a good salad. Their salads are generous and fantastic. It's clean and bright. Money well spent. Parking is easy too with the exception of Saturdays.

Outrageous Delicious food and new mega dining room addition. The number one spot in Eastern Market to eat Breakfast and Lunch without a wait for a seat. Our 2nd visit last was 4 years ago, place packed day before At Paddy's Day diner's and shoppers for Wigleys Corned Beef all located inside. Large Free parking lot and street parking right on Russell. I went with the One Pound Corned Beef sandwich on Rye with Slaw OMG so delicious and filling for 2 folks, actually a deal it $16 bucks so 8 bucks each. Had a bowl of delicious Corned Beef and Cabbage Soup outstanding and Corned Beef n Cheese Egg Rolls. She had a order of Chicken Strips spot on. Great hard working crew and fun friendly waitress made for a enjoyable experience. The corned beef sandwich depicted in the picture, looks nothing like the corned beef sandwich served. Sorta on the salty side. Instead, I recommend the bean soup.

Shared a very good cold corned beef,Swiss cheese sandwich, accompanied by a fresh pickle. Decent sized. Waitress was friendly, just too busy- never brought fries that were ordered, or offer refills on beverages. Attached to a meat market in rear of building. Large parking lot.

Excellent food and service. Highly recommend the Chicken Greek Salad. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. If I lived in area I would eat at Frank's Deli a few times a week for sure!

Small. Homey. Sits about 25. Walkes from the Eastern Market sheds for Corned Beef sandwiches. 9.99 for a 1 lb triple decker corned beef sounded like a winner. Also grabbed a staxked ham sammy and a chicken noodle soup to go. The careyout girl was so nice and thorough she deserved a tip. We asked if we wanted our slaw And dressing on the side so it didn't get soggy. Also askes if we wanted stuff bagged seperate for ease. Which was very handy. Food came out quickly maybe 10 minutes for it being pretty packed in the restaurant. Which shares a building with Wigleys corned beef. Food waa around 30 bucks. And the menu waa extensive. We'll be back.

Frank's deli is conveniently located for me to grab a quick lunch. I was having a hard time deciding what to order, and the waitress suggested the salmon sandwich so I ordered that. I should have tried something else since the sandwich was bland and not satisfying at all. I hear the deli sandwiches are good though. On the plus side customer service was great.

Great deli and grill the eastern market. They have pretty much everything you could think of for breakfast lunch and dinner. I love the openness of the kitchen. The atmosphere is very much like a old school diner. I got the cheese burger with corned beef. The burger was ok, the corned beef was a little dry, I don't know if it's because it was over cooked or was it that it was a lean piece of meat. I prefer my corned beef to be cooked with the fat on it, not trimmed it adds to the flavor. But I would till try this place again and look forward to trying the other dishes.

Excellent service from the meat counter. I forget the young mans name it started with a D but he was funny, kind and very attentive. Their turkey burger and beef bacon was delish. I look forward to going back soon.

Had lunch here last week and both times I was not disappointed. I had a Corned Beef sandwich that was over the top the rye bread was so delicious I had planned on eating the bread but after I tasted it, that was a wrap. The second day, I had a Greek omelette and it was delicious as well. I will be returning very soon.

When you first walk in, seems a bit crowded and small, but trust me, theses ladies know what they're doing and how to do it! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile and a sweet hello, and please find a seat. If you come between 11 and 1 then yes, it will seem extremely busy. The best part is the service is great and so is the food. Most people that are standing around are getting their to go plates. If you have at least 45 minutes for lunch there it's well worth it. You may get away with doing lunch in about 30 minutes. As soon as your order is in, it's no more than 5 to 8 minutes later, your breakfast or lunch is served to you hot and ready! They have a variety of fast food from a good coney to a nice size large corn beef on onion bread with a fresh plate of crispy sizzling hot fries or onion rings fried to perfection. You can't go wrong grabbing a bite here anytime of the day.

Have only had one item here (turkey club) but it was excellent. Only thing that could have improved it would be if Turkey was shaved a bit thinner. Food was fresh and delicious. Loved being able to chat with the cook while at the counter and service was quick and friendly! I'll be back!!

Frank's has been open less than two months but judging by the bustling lunch crowd on a Friday, it is drawing a diverse following here on the Eastern Market's main drag. The Deli & Grill is housed in a bright, fully renovated building with plenty of windows and vaulted ceilings....even an awesome chandelier in the Farm Market immediately behind and linked to the restaurant. My co-worker ordered the Reuben Sandwich made with a generous amount of renowned Wigley's Corned Beef. I grabbed a simple Cheeseburger topped with generous amounts of fresh-cut red onions,Lettuce and tomato. It was the freshness of the burger meat that impressed me while the leanest of the Corned Beef had my co-worker crowing with praise. I'm always glad to see new restaurant's opening in the Motor City. Frank's is a welcome addition to the busy Eastern Market area as they get prepared for the onslaught of flower-seekers in the annual rite of Spring this weekend.

They didn't have things like pancake batter or apple juice. The food we did manage to get was really bad. The plus side is the staff is really friendly. That's about the only thing this place has going for it from my experience.

Why do you grill the turkey meat on a turkey sandwich? On the menu, it says nothing about "Grilled" turkey sandwich. Just turkey breast sandwich, mayo lettuce tomato. I ordered a carry out, wanted a nice, cold simple regular turkey sandwich, mayo, lettuce tomato. I get grilled turkey, chewy, like when you take a bite and all the meat comes out of the sandwich cause you can't chew it? with melted cheese sticking all over everything, which again, menu said nothing about cheese. Very disappointed and won't order that again, if I go back

Great diner and breakfast. Fast, friendly, no frills. If you're shopping down at the Eastern Market and need a place to fuel up, this is the place.

I like this place. My cornbeef sandwich was good. The salad was nice and fresh. The staff was also very nice and friendly. I'll definitely go back and I recommend this place.

Decent corned beef. Really great service. When you round it out it's a solid 3. Located right across from Detroit Mercantile, the location is prime real estate. When I first discovered this place I thought because of the look of it it was going to be an immediate go to for corned beef. I think because my expectations were super high that I let myself down. This place is like your average diner that focuses on their corned beef. It's good but it's really nothing to write home about. I had great service and the place is very clean and really cool looking, but again I've had much better corned beef for the price. I think it's worth stopping in if you're hungry and you're in the area, but I wouldn't seek it out like I would other places for sandwiches or breakfast. Nothing wrong with being middle of the road. There's definitely some room for them to up their game though. It does get pretty busy when there's events going on downtown also, so if you come in and you have to wait in line I would maybe suggest moving on if you're really hungry.

Great spot near Eastern Market with some of the friendliest staff I've ever come across. Couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions for the area. Sandwiches were just as good as the staff. We split the 1/2 pound corned beef sandwich and still couldn't finish it. Reasonable prices as well. Attached to a very nice market for local shopping. Enjoy!

Best corned beef, period. Amazing quality featuring Wigley's meat. The only place that comes close is Hygrade's on Michigan Ave. All the food comes out looking great here. I need to try some of the breakfast items soon. service is top notch and the kitchen staff look like they know what they are doing and care about what they serve. Lovin' me some Franks for sure. A true gem in Detroit and a must go.
