Google
The friendliest staff ever! We ended up getting some cherries after trying them, so the marketing worked. Great start to Pike Place being greeted so nicely.

Google
You’ll get the best customer service and the sweetest fresh fruit. Bought several fruits including two watermelons 🍉 and they cut it up (that alone) 😍 Wish I was local so I could be a regular. Highly recommend, you will not regret it!

Google
I love FRANKS PRODUCE , I am a Senior Lady with a Walker . The Staff are friendly , polite, and make me feel special , as l pick my Fruit and Vegetables. I won't buy from any other stand . Produce is fresh and lovely too . See you guys soon . THANKS 👍

Google
Not only does Frank’s have fantastic produce, but the folks at Frank’s make shopping for groceries fun. Schmoozing with Jeremiah and Joseph was great, and made our first day of breaking quarantine enjoyable. The market was quiet on this Sunday in the middle of April 2020, good for me, bad for them and the city. Frank’s is where the chefs of Seattle pick up their produce needs. It is iconic and an integral part of the fabric of Seattle.

Google
Sorry Frank, I can only give you three stars. The produce was gorgeous to look at and staff were very friendly. However, the raspberries that I bought were not any different or better tasting than those that I buy at Walmart. Actually Walmart raspberries are generally better tasting. Frank's berries were just more expensive.

Every time we go to Seattle we get fruit from here. Very fresh and good fruits. There credit card reader is not the best, but the fruits are super delicious

Google
Love Frank’s Quality Produce! Great selection. Fresh, beautiful food. Customer service was AWESOME!! Best in the market. My new produce stand! New to living in the city. So glad I found them.

Google
First time visiting Seattle. We hit up Frank's twice for some incredible fruit and vegetables both days we were here. Apples and cherries are definitely the best I've ever had in my life. Will make sure to shop here every time I visit in the future.

Yelp
Part of the walking gourmet food tour. Amazing fruit and produce , so happy to test amazing foods

Yelp
Don't trust the guys to pick out your fruit. We ask for something we can eat today and tmrw. Spent $18 for 5 persimmons and this one the first one. The second one was bland and hard. And the third fuyu has a super thick tough skin and inside was bland as well. The two hachiya persimmons we bought at $4 each was so high in tannins it sucked the moisture right out our mouths and were absolutely inedible. We normally go to Sosios but we wanted to support other vendors but this mistake won't happen again.

Yelp
Good fresh fruit and wonderful service!! My family and I were visiting from out of town and were craving some good fruits. Since we were staying at an inn and didn't have any utensils, they were so nice to cut our pineapple for us. Love this place and their fruits, all the fruits we bought were fresh and sweet just like we like it!

Yelp
I was in rush and didn't have time to walk into the market for produce, I quickly stopped at Frank's Quality Produce. Chaz was extremely courteous, and helpful he provided great suggestions. The selection, and quality of the produce is just as great as most of the produce stands. However the ability to select your own, and walk into Frank's stand makes the shopping experience much better. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer, and highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Awesome selection. They have beautiful produce. Customer service is THE BEST! I'm forever getting my food here. Thank you for being so helpful today! My dog Sweetheart and I will be regulars.

Yelp
Frank's is a phenom produce stand in Pike's Place Market. Happy shiny people with free samples and they kindly edge you on to try something with a strong passion for their work. I like to stop by here whenever I'm at the market. If I lived downtown, I'd be coming here on a regular basis.
google avatar

Yelp
The absolute best fruit and vegetable produce in the Seattle area and especially in the downtown and Pike Place Market. It really is a true farmer's market and this place is one of the reasons why. The service is top notch and they can tell you what to get for what's in season.
google avatar

Phil G.

Yelp
Frank's has become my twice a week ritual. The fruit and vegetables are incredible, and the staff (My main man is Jeremiah) helpful sharing their knowledge. It's like taking a free class on how to pick the best fruits and vegetables. I am eating healthier, because the produce at Frank's is so good. I just noticed we're running out. Thus, tomorrow will be another trip to Frank's. Hey Jeremiah, get ready. Here I come. Get those Rainer cherries ready.
google avatar

Marivic R.

Yelp
Frank's has the best produce of all Seattle! Fresh produce every morning. The guys are the best- Uncle Mikey, Joseph, & Chaz. Such helpful hardworking guys. They have everything you need and then some!! If you haven't been here come check it out.
google avatar

Yelp
Chaz is my dealer in best quality produce. No one is better at selecting avocados. I have widened my palette for a variety of vegetables and experimenting with them and to great result. The latest smoked garlic has enhanced my soups and stir-fries. While you may find better quality at a farm stand itself, Frank's has consistently great produce regardless of the season. When I worked downtown I would go weekly at lunchtime and bring back special treats for my colleagues. Now that I work in Belltown I have to make an effort to come by. Chaz always greets my son and me with a big smile and calls us by name. Doesn't matter if I was just there or months have lapsed.
google avatar

Sharon A.

Yelp
I had the honor of meeting Chaz during my visit to Pike Place. I was on a mission... lunch, flowers and fresh produce. I'm new to the area and a bit of an introvert, so me venturing off on my own was a huge thing for me. Chaz is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming! He helped me every step of the way and answered all of my questions! I will be a regular at Franks! The produce is high quality! If fresh, crisp and clean produce with amazingly awesome customer service is your thing, this is your place!!

Yelp
If you are cooking a special meal for friends or just want some of the best produce in Seattle, you need to check out Frank's. It would be natural to be sceptical given their great location, but like the seafood vendor s around it, the quality is excellent. Most of their produce is sourced located it is good to ask what is in season because it tends to be the best. They have a good variety. I am not sure about the value compared to grocery store. I assume it is quite a bit more expensive, but absolute my worth it.

Yelp
Been shopping here for 20-something years, so why not offer some praise. Getting produce at Franks makes you part of a community. The quality is always terrific and the employees will always help you out. They happily gather and bag for you, not to mention offer you tastes. Supporting Pike Place rocks.
google avatar

Roxy H.

Yelp
I LOVE Franks! It's not just because they have the best produce in Seattle but the customer service and sense of community that you get shopping here is unlike anything I have ever seen. Since the folk that work here are so passionate about their jobs, they will never ever sell you something that isn't the best (and in season). They will literally tell you that it's not the best and find an alternative for you... and if they happen to, let them know next time you are there and they will take care of you. They know and love produce and if you meet Frank the owner you will know why. He is one hell of a guy. Chaz is my guy there and has quickly become like family to me. Do yourself a favor and put away the phone and head phones when you visit franks and get to know these rad people and you will know why I wouldn't shop anywhere else.
google avatar

Ee Vonn Y.

Yelp
They give out free samples of their fruit and I'm sure they would let you sample a piece if you asked. One of the employees offered me a slice of fruit and said "this is going to be the best piece you've ever had." I said no thank you at the time because I was on a mission. His reply lingered in the distance, "but it's going to be the best piece you've ever had..." I came back the next day anyhow, and bought the white raspberries, the dapple dandy plout which tasted like a gushy plum, and the peach pie which looked like someone had sat on a bunch of apricots. All of them were tasty and full of flavor. I would pass on the apricots since it had less flavor than the others. I bought it because it was silly to look at.
google avatar

Yelp
Phenomenal quality, high prices, perfect location. Enormous bing cherries and excellent Rainier cherries. Not exactly Sprouts prices but, hey, it's just fruit, and I can overpay for a delicious local treat.

Yelp
Three years later, I still go out of my way to buy my produce here. Frank's Quality Produce carries quality produce at reasonable prices, although that is just one of the reasons why I prefer to shop here. What I love about shopping here is the service this place provides. My favorite person to purchase from is Chaz because he is more than happy to give me suggestion on alternative vegetables/fruit to use if I can't find what I need. He also provides great cooking and preparation tips, which has further my interest in cooking and trying new veggies. Even when I make it 10 minutes before they close, he has always encouraged me to take my time since the place appreciates all the business they get. Even when he is not around, everyone that works there is extremely kind and helpful. I just found out during my last trip that if I want to mix and match deals to not hesitate and ask if they can accommodate to that request. Even though there are other grocery stores or farmers markets closer to my neighborhood, none of them can beat the quality and service I always get from Frank's Produce.

Yelp
Frank's loves it when a plan comes together. Stroll into Frank's with a couple of sausages and a half an idea, and you'll walk out with a menu plan, a bundle of ingredients for it, and, depending on who's working there that day, maybe a tip for a good wine to go with. The staff are friendly and engaging and always eager to suggest things or answer questions anywhere from "What's awesome right now?" to "I need something comfort-food-ish but not starchy to make with braised lamb. Or maybe roast chicken." Oh, or one of my favorites: "Make me want salad." So yeah, I heart good, fresh, whole foods, and the produce here delivers. It's always of great quality and lasts a good while, so you can shop not just for tonight but the rest of the week, too. But what earns the fifth star and keeps me walking/riding/scootering back here even though I work in the unfashionable end of downtown a ways from the market are the knowledgeable and helpful employees. So keep up the banter and the thoughtful service and the ideas on what to do with a good rutabaga!

Yelp
Delicious fruits! Super friendly - great service. They even helped us select the ripest fruits! -- PHOTOS: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/1qTHBel-WyrrX_QSerQ0Sg?select=q2wHwzsSyaiFFg9WJA9Jpg http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/1qTHBel-WyrrX_QSerQ0Sg?select=t7TGObSY2gK0y9Weqjxabw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/1qTHBel-WyrrX_QSerQ0Sg?select=OVZy6CLtorkTCM4Lz-q2Iw

Yelp
With the number of great produce stands in the market, you really have to stand out to get repeat customers and Frank's does just that. They really make you feel like family here and always give you the best recommendations. Their produce is absolutely the best quality in the market and they can give you tips on what's coming in the next week, what you may want to pick up now in order to make sure you don't miss it, etc. Don't just say, "I need carrots", tell them what you are making and when and they can give you different types that will work best with each dish. Really. These guys are not in it to sell you stuff, they are here to make sure that you LOVE what you are eating. They are absolutely the best.
google avatar

Candi K.

Yelp
Kinda disappointed in this place. I stopped by to get some veggies and fruits of the day. It was getting close to 5 and in the process of packing up for the day and was able to get some stuff before they close. Bad idea. I told the guy what I wanted (I think he's the owner) and he seemed like in a bad mood. Well, when I got home I wasn't very happy with his selection. Some of the fruit had lots of gashes on it. I know he was in a hurry but geez. There are so many other fruit/veggie stalls that it's easy not to come back. And I've been here multiple times for my fruits and veggies.
google avatar

Ross B.

Yelp
Incredibly honest. "Hey Chaz how're the strawberries today?" "Terrible, get the raspberries, they'll change your life." "Okay." This is essentially how every transaction happens here. They're brutally honest, and it's SO refreshing, especially in the market where other people are trying to sell you produce that's going bad so they can get it off their shelves... A breath of fresh air in the market, I suggest going even if you're just there to chat with Chaz.
google avatar

Mary Rose F.

Yelp
I'm going to keep this short and sweet... Frank definitely has the freshest produce, and it is of utmost QUALITY! The fruits and vegetables here are all fresh and reasonably priced! Friendly people everywhere, plus yummy fruits = YES! I did get to try the Opal Apple (which was the best apple I've ever had), and even brought some back home to Las Vegas! Why don't we have this in LV?! Wahhh!! SEATTLE'S BEST!
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
I live in Seattle and, if you can believe it, I have not been to Pike Place Market in over a year. Traffic and expensive parking keep me away. Anyway, decided to suck up the parking fee and traffic and head to the market! Franks is awesome! I bought a few oranges and let me tell you...these are the best damn oranges I have had..very sweet and yummy! The price for 4 oranges came to 5 bucks and some odd cents. Service was great and very friendly! Will return.
google avatar

Marcell J.

Yelp
Shout out to Chaz! Great service and even better fruit! Please support this business. Made us feel right at home here. Travelled here from Wisconsin and me & my fiancé will come back to Seattle!
google avatar

Crystal G.

Yelp
I like Sosio's for fruit, but Franks is where I get my veggies! Fresh, crisp, good selection AND great customer service. Conveniently located next to a door so you can pop right outside if the crowds are too much.
google avatar

Danae R.

Yelp
Living around the corner from the market I have at some point gotten produce from every stand there, but after time I found myself only returning to Franks now. The quality is always there, and the the customer service is awesome. I'm always immediately greeted and helped out, and price wise I've noticed they're always around the same as the other stands. Plus my dog loves these guys because they spoil him with treats!
google avatar

Thai D.

Yelp
The produce here is indeed quality. Everything I've had here has been great, from the pears, to the grapes, to the bok choy, to the brussells sprouts.... God I feel healthy just talking about this! The staff here are excellent, and make great suggestions as well. They may be in the touristy Pike Place Market, but Frank's is definitely produce for us local kin.
google avatar

Denice M.

Yelp
I thought I had already written about how fantastic this place is! I shop here frequently for produce for the week, or to pick up something for a special side dish. Their produce is by far some of the best in the Market--fresh and great variety of what is in season. I've tried several of the stands down here I like Frank's the best because: 1. The quality of the produce 2. The extremely reasonable prices 3. The friendly and helpful staff (they don't brush you off like you are just another tourist) 4. They always somehow telepathically know that I've forgotten something on my list, and remind me (how did he know I needed more shallots??) Definitely worth a try.
google avatar

Josh K.

Yelp
Great variety of fresh and tasty fruit and veggies. Awesome recommendations by the staff. Even helped me to pick out the best mango(which tasted amazing). Thx for the awesome service
google avatar

Linda Z.

Yelp
This is not cheap fruit compared to a local supermarket but Chaz is the reason why I keep coming back! He takes the time to know all his customers and he treats them like friends. He always helps me pick my fruit and he makes recommendations, helps me decide, and tells me everything about each fruit. I only stop by if Chaz is available to help! Ask for him. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Tula L.

Yelp
Well, I love fresh fruit and vegetables probably significantly more than the next person so I feel extra-qualified to write this review. I thoroughly investigated my fruit stand options when I moved to Seattle (roughly a year ago) and many (many, many, many) pounds of produce later I have settled (mostly) on Franks because: 1. They employ nice people 2. They are generous with their samples (especially if you are nice back) 3. I always walk away with lots of yummy food that I don't feel like I paid potentially way too much for. So, check it out...if you decide to be a loyal customer somewhere else there will only be more stuff for me to choose from and fewer people for me to push through when I am ready to make my purchase. p.s. yes I may be a bit biased because it is super convenient because I work in the market.
google avatar

Jami S.

Yelp
I am writing this at six am, but just thinking about Frank's makes me hungry! To quote Chaz (my new best friend, though he does not know) "You will never have a bad piece of produce In your bag..." I do not have cooking skills, which relates into weak food shopping skills. I also do not like many veggies...but going to Franks makes me want to eat many veggies and makes me crave fruit!
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
I go here often. Frank's understands customer service and they have good quality produce. It's not organic as others have mentioned but the quality you can just see it looks good, it tastes good, and it is good.
google avatar

Jen P.

Yelp
Chaz is the shhhhiiiizzzzz!!!!! I love coming here. This place makes me want to write out a HUGE LIST! "Oh, we are going to Frank's... hold on, I have to write a list!" Chaz is so helpful. He's introduced me to so much good produce. He tells you like it is... what's good, what's bad, what's excellent. I've never been disappointed. Everything, the quality AND the customer service is TOP NOTCH!
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
Can't believe all the great reviews. Have gone twice and both times the middle aged guy who I assume is the boss was RUDE to both customers and employees. The first time we were with a food tour and he yelled at our guide to move the group onto the street "NOW - keep going, behind the garbage can" Very nice, ironically - 2 people in our group almost got hit by a car that the infamous Kenny G was in......... The produce was ok - the apples and eggplant were meh but the pears were fantastic! Prices were on the high side. The other time I was here the same guy was screaming at an older employee (possibly his father - to "hurry up, speed it up or just get the HELL out of here!" This guy needs some anger management classes..... I did learn the difference the difference between a boy and a girl eggplant..
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
This is becoming my "go to place" for produce! Great quality and selection, wonderful help. These people love their work - which I appreciate as I worked in produce for over 10 years. Tell them what you want to make (like roasted root veggies), or ask what's just in or special. Last week it was beyond belief Muscat grapes, a time before it was some of the best pears I've had in years. Go, sample, learn, then share the wealth at home.
google avatar

Kyle K.

Yelp
I will chose this place first for my produce. Great staff, with great stories, selling great produce. It is good to see the produce in person, so you know what the best restaurants in Seattle are using.
google avatar

Janet D.

Yelp
Super friendly and sweet people who work here. I asked for two super delicious pluots please, and that was exactly what i got. They were dripping juicy goodness (mind out of the gutter please). I wish i had purchased more. It was that darn good. I will definitely be back to this stand for fruits in the future. Though there are many spots to choose from at Pike Place Market, I'm glad the strawberries here caught the hubby's eye. Bookmarked for future visit! Keep up the good work guys!
google avatar

caroline c.

Yelp
I've been going to this place for YEARS and yes, I haven't yet given them a review. You need to go here. Dave (my produce professional) knows his stuff, except for figs and mushrooms, the two things he will not eat... then I head over to Will (my second go to) and helps me with all of my produce. He will tell me what is good and always asks me when I am going to eat or use whatever I am buying and picks the appropriate ripeness for me. He is quick, yet doesn't make you feel like he's pushing you out the door so he can move on to the next customer. They will have some exotic fruits too, like dragon fruit and guava and passionfruits... so give them a try! But for my basics, Frank's always has what I need, and takes care of me with fun staff that know their stuff. Oh, and you can to tourist and "interesting character" watch while you shop... as well as listen to some great music (even country at times, if you're so inclined.) Can't go wrong with fresh goodies, and Frank's Quality has it all for me.
google avatar

Bee Q.

Yelp
Frank's Produce in The Pike Place Market is the best place to get fresh produce in the city. Most high-end Seattle restaurants buy their produce there, and it's simply the best quality you can find. Franks is the best for a few reasons. They have the freshest produce, their staff is quick, and their selection is great. They always let me know what is in season, which I appreciate. The samples are nice, too...mmmmm peaches!
google avatar

Chris E.

Yelp
Knowledge is power. The guys at Frank's have helped me make more than one meal even better by asking me what I'm making. They're food lovers and cooks. They listen to me and suggest something to kick it up a bit. Friendly and helpful to tourists and locals. Don't forget they are across the street from usual until May because of the rehab going on.
google avatar

Nellie M.

Yelp
This place has the best strawberries, Concord and other wine grape varieties and hard to find berries like red and black currants. The store is very conspicuous - diagonally right across from the famous pig statue and Pike's sign. The people that helped us bag the products, Robert and another gentleman, were also very friendly and personable, making for an all around excellent shopping experience. They sell year round.
google avatar

Alaina S.

Yelp
I work at the market, so i am spoiled with the luxury of having a vast amount of produce stands to choose from. As well as local farmers coming in during the spring and summer. They are all wonderful, yet Frank's seems to give me a little more. I've never received a bad apple nor have i ever been denied the millions of samples i have asked for. Chaz has given me free produce when it was near its end and Mark has alwsys been great about suggesting ways to cook or season an unfamiliar vegetable. They're attentive, nice and well educated on the product they sell.
google avatar

Jamie Y.

Yelp
I can seriously just live here or something. I love the guys here; very honest and are more than just willing to help you pick out the best selection of fruits! Loved the honeycrisp apples, taylor pears, and the satsumas.
google avatar

Julian H.

Yelp
Nice, friendly servers let you try before you buy. The quality of the fruit we got was great. Be warned: prices are set on "tourist"
google avatar

M F.

Yelp
I came here yesterday, after lunch in Pike Place. I bought a bunch of perfect muscat grapes. What do I mean by perfect? I mean, they're sweet with a crunchy skin. And there was not a bad one in the bunch. I also got two Bosc pears, neither of which felt/looked/smelled ripe - but, the guy assured me they were. And, of course, when I cut into it today, the pear was ripe and sweet. Thanks for a yummy fruit experience, guys! The prices were pretty reasonable for the amount of fruit. I'll be back (very soon).
google avatar

Mitch N.

Yelp
Let's face it, I'm a regular here. Near everyday I'm walking by here, and the guys and gals here remember me and say hi. They say hi to my wife, my kid, and my dog. I buy most of our produce here. It's not 'organic," and not advertised as such. It's not necessarily "local," either. It's seasonal. Items are brought in that are the freshest for the season. The crew there let you know whats good, what's sweet, what's at the peak of the season. Want to try it out, they'll cut you a slice. Not happy with what you bought, come back the next day, tell them about it. They'll make it up to you.
google avatar

Derek S.

Yelp
Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly employees... I'm really not sure what else to say. I dealt with these guys on a regular basis for the better part of six months and was always happy with the product and the people. Plus, they're on the ball when it comes to asking people if they need help with something. And, as T.Q. said, they're generous with their samples. Delicious!
