This cheese pizza reminds me so much of my favorite pizzas in Italy. The crust was amazing and chewy and cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce was incredible. No notes there. The cheese also had nice salt level and had that orange liquid on top after the bake. If you're a pizza person, you can know that orange liquid is a sign of good quality cheese. The salad was also fresh and we ate it up. The vegan pizza we got was also amazing. It was a red pie with roasted veggies. ʕ⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴥ⁠ꈍ⁠ʔ

I love this place! My Family and I discovered it last year on a beach trip and had to visit again this year! The service is great and the wait isn’t long. 10/10 definitely recommend 😊!

Had pizza & calamari here 2 years ago, it was terrific! Ordered pizza & calamari last night for 615 pick-up, arrived @ 605 & food was packed & ready. Got home (½mile away) & everything was cold, & tough!! Pizza was sub par, calamari were cold & tough like sliced bicycle tire inner tubes!! I don't mind paying the high prices for quality, but this meal went right to the garbage disposal! Next time I'll call Uncle Oogies!

My wife and I stopped here on. Friday night in the off season. It is both a byob and they have a small selection of wines. We had the Cesar salads and Vechia red pizza. The salad was nice size w a sweet Caesar dressing. The pizzza was wood fired and had lots of Italian meat on it. We had the medium and only could eat half. Will be back again

Amazing! Came right as they were opening on a Sunday early afternoon. Bruschetta: hands down best we’ve ever had! Better than Italia! Plain red pizza with prosciutto, high quality prosciutto. Amazing crust. Great atmosphere inside, but we sat outside to people watch. Fantastic. We will be back! Delicious.

When I picked up my order I was giving the wrong order. I did not realize this until I was halfway home. I called back and explain to them I was giving the wrong order and I was told I could come back for the order that I placed. I asked will my food be hot I was told we guarantee it well I was giving a cold pizza and the other part of my order I was told was lost so they tried to pawn off someone else's food to me which I refuse because that is not what I ordered nor that I want to eat that. They told me that I can heat the pizza up at home in an oven well I don't have access to an oven. They did apologize and said I hope you come back but couldn't answer the question when I asked them why would I come back knowing that you're probably get my order wrong again.

Best pizza in sea isle! We randomly popped in while walking as soon as they opened one day, and I can't wait to go back. It was such a pleasant surprise at home great this pizza is, Portnoy would love it. The service was good! Really just brought waters and pizza but it was all we needed! We ate outside so can't really speak to the inside. The ranch was BOMB, def recommend. What we ordered: - Pepperoni - Margherita Can't want to go back summer 2024!

I visited Fratellis twice, about five years apart, with the same horrible service. The food isn't good enough to make up for the horrible service. I was promised a discount on a delivery order that took two hours, and I didn't receive it. When I called back to ask about it, I was hung up on. I would give zero stars if I could.

We had the wings and Brussel sprouts to start. Wings were good but Brussel sprouts were delicious. Pizza was very good too.

Food was delicious! We sat outside and it was a great vibe. It definitely took some time for it to come out, but that is expected down the shore. However the service was below average, we were not greeted by our server until 15 minutes after we sat down and he probably said 4 words to us the whole night. I would definitely get take out from here !! Just avoid dining in.

Barely any pasta! The service was terrible and they added 20% tip to the bill automatically.

I get being busy during a holiday weekend but the staff was rude and non-communicative. We ordered our food 45 minutes in advance and still waited an hour to pick it up. The Russian gentleman at the counter was particularly rude and seemed overwhelmed. Decent pizza but the service in the pits!

Service was horrible for take out. Took 2 hours for our order to be done and the staff was not even sorry or accomodating. Very disappointed and angry. Also, order was all wrong.

We came in here the week after Labor Day so as expected it was empty. The restaurant is small so I'm sure during the season it can be a nightmare. We were greeted quickly by our server who brought us menus and had a good personality. We ordered our appetizers and son's meal quickly (he's three so you can imagine how that could go). As far as apps we ordered the Polpette and Gamberi, or meatballs with ricotta and tomato sauce and grilled shrimp with spicy aioli. After a few minutes we had decided on our pizzas, a pepperoni and the Ventura (Prosciutto, arugula, mozzarella, truffle oil). The apps and our sons meal came out quickly. The meatballs at first glance looked good but then I realized the lighting was low. The tomato sauce had separated so picture a circle of red surrounded by the hue of oil as a ring around it. The meatballs, well, I wouldn't call them that. I'm sure there from one of the US Food or Sysco trucks that seems to deliver everywhere here but they were completely tasteless and strangely watery. Move on to the shrimp which were not grilled at all but sautéed (although they were perfectly cooked) also lacking the "spicy aioli" and instead seasoned with some obscure seasoning salt mixed with oil. Both apps a pretty big letdown. Onto the pizzas, first, they do have a wood burning oven as advertised and the crust came out looking as if it was cooked in one, you could definitely see some decent leopard spotting on the bottom. Bluntly put, the dough lacked flavor, but lets be honest most pizza places lack flavor in dough. They make it for the day so it doesn't have time to ferment and develop flavor....that's what separates the heavy hitters from the everyday places. But I can look past that, again, it's accepted and the norm. The pepperoni pizza was good and I would order again if in the area. As expected there were crushed tomatoes, cheese and slightly crisped around the edge pepperoni. The Ventura was almost good. Now first, this was my wife's idea, I'm typically against the overpowering flavor of truffle oil and arugula on my pizza. But in this case it worked. The major problem with this pizza, which aside from the apps (and one more thing still to come) landed Fratelli's this two star review, was the prosciutto. For those that know prosciutto is a cured ham that has a mellow flavor and sometimes a decent amount of fat around it. It typically will melt in your mouth when you eat it. The trick though is to make sure it's thin cut. Yes, this should be common knowledge for a restaurant serving an Italian menu, but, perhaps this has not dawned upon Fratelli's as the prosciutto was cut thicker than some bacon I've seen. Nothing worse than trying to gnaw through a dry cured pig. Finally, the "tipping" point was when they brought the bill. I rarely look at the bills when they're dropped off. I simply give them a credit card and sign the receipt. For some reason on this night I did and what did I see at the bottom: 18% gratuity. Nothing pisses me off more than this passive-aggressive behavior. If we were a large group, fine charge us. There were three of us total and I'm proud to say that after a day on the beach my son barely said a word so it definitely wasn't because of his behavior. No, in this restaurant they put that on there. Now, I usually tip between 25% - 30% when I go out, I know just how hard everyone works. In this case I didn't, I left a few extra dollars to move that servers tip up to 20% and left...but he missed out. If you go, it's a BYOB, the pizza is decent but don't go out of your way for it. And look at the bill, you should always tip but you should know in advance if a gratuity is going to be thrown on.

So absolutely delicious - especially the margarita pizza!! We did not eat in - just had delivery 3 or 4 times in the week we were visiting the area - so I can't speak about the ambiance. The guy who delivered each time was pleasant and the food always arrived quicker than promised and hot!

Need to clarify their "delivery charge." When you say $20 minimum for delivery, you should say $20 delivery charge. $20 minimum when ordering means you need to order at least $20 worth of food. Also, business needs someone who can actually talk on a phone and know the business. Would never order from this scam of a business again. Bunch of thieves and people who don't know how to run a business. Also, their pizza tastes like cardboard.

Very unsatisfied with our order on Friday night. Ordered at 7pm, got all the notifications about the delivery. "Pizza was out for delivery at 8pm" per the status. At 9pm, nothing had been delivered. I called and got the update that they were busy. Food wasn't even made, yet the status indicated it was out for delivery. Not the first time, but definitely the last time for me. It won't happen to me again. Too bad because I do like the pizza, but I can no longer put up with the service. I am patient, I understand the summer crowds, and all I wanted was honestly, but I did not get it from this business.

Finally !!! We were finally able to get into Fratelli's in SeaIsle. Very, very nice atmosphere .. but .. small. Vecchia pizza was " outstanding ". We also had a buratta .. which was " outstanding " also. FRATELLI'S gets an A+ from me.

Margarita pizza was delicious. We did takeout and our food was ready pretty quickly - not sure about the service but there people were nice when we picked our order up.

Being a small business owner, I hate to give bad reviews. But I really don't want anyone else to waste their money. My wife and I went there for some quick takeout when we first got to town. Ordered two Caesar salads and the brussel sprouts. Sounds simple enough, but unfortunately, we discovered that the lettuce had not been washed, and was full of dirt. Very little croutons, Parmesan cheese or dressing. The brussels sprouts were soggy and disgusting. We had to throw them out I would not return.

Pizza was great. Service less than stellar. Waitress never refilled our water or came back for the check.

Fratelli's is one of the best plain pies I've ever had. We ordered the round medium plain and pepperoni and a sausage appetizer. It was crispy with the perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. The sauce is so delicious, you can tell all of the ingredients are fresh. If you also love pizza and are on the lookout for what a good plain pie should taste like, look no further!

Came here with a reservation which didn't seem to matter much, as the restaurant was pretty full. Not sure if they actually use opentable or not but we had to wait a bit to be seated. It's a small restaurant with a small menu- some grilled items, pizza, paninis, salads, dessert. I had the caprese salad which was fine, good fresh ingredients. I asked for balsamic to put on it and had to ask two different members of the wait staff twice before I got some. I also had the grilled calamari which was tasty. The margarita pizza was decent enough, didn't really do it for me. The gelato (salted caramel) was really tasty, but it was the only flavor they had which was a bit disappointing.

Delicious appetizers and the pizza is great! We were seated right away. Salads are fresh and a nice menu selection.

Ahhhh, Fratelli's --- the highly anticipated wood fired oven pizza joint in the heart of sunny SEA ISLE CITY! Let me tell ya -- the pizza is fantastic and tasty, but pricey and timely!! That's the short version... As of last summer (2020) - the online and phone ordering takeout system and logistics were absolutely ABYSMAL. In surprised there weren't riots out front! They should place chaise lounges outside so customers can sneak in a quick nap while they pretend to tell you that you're pizza is almost ready, only to discover that it hasn't even been placed in the oven yet. I have polled many folks about their experiences waiting for pizza, ordering out, picking up pies, calling in the order via phone, waiting outside for hours, etc...EVERYONE seems to agree. It's almost not worth the wait -- actually, I could probably find a tree, cut some logs, build a pizza oven, make the cheese, finish the sauce -- you get the idea -- in a shorter amount of time than Fratelli's typically takes to successfully complete a pie. You pay up front (and it's more cheap), and then you are trapped waiting there while they figure out how and when to serve the 100 frantic pizza patrons waiting to eat! This is not based on one mere mortal's experience, this is fact based on MULTIPLE personal experiences where I spent 1 hour waiting either at the pickup window, or even inside at a table when dining in. This time issue has also been shared by many a local friends and foes in the SIC area. Not sure what the problem is here, but they've got to figure this out for the future! Everyone standing outside has no idea who ordered first, whether their pizza is even in the oven or not, or if they'll get out there with a pie before bedtime! Great pizza - don't get me wrong - but let's get it moving people! -$TEVIE J.

We received an overly burnt pizza (that should have been remade) i am not sure how someone knowingly put that in a box for us.. it was not something we would have paid $20+ for. We didn't realize it until we got home. We called to complain but the manager never called us back. Check your pizza before leaving the restaurant !!! Very disappointed

I have been to Fratelli's in Sea Isle often. I visit it every august during my family vacation and recommend it to many friends who vacation in Sea Isle. The pizza has always been wonderful but I decided to try a polpette panini. The bread was a nice size but looked rather thin. When I opened up the panini it looked like a meatball crumble. I don't think it was one meatball. I asked the waitress if she could bring 2 more meatballs. She brought a plate with 2 meatballs cut in half sitting in some water. It looked microwaved and had NO sauce/gravy on it. I was also charged for the meatballs . It looked gross and I couldn't even eat it. I have always loved this place for pizza but was so upset by this lack of customer service.

I went there for the first time because I wanted grilled octopus. I was sadly disappointed when I was told they run out very fast and there wasn't any left. However, phenomenal server Megan to rescue!! She said we should try the scallops with the spicy sauce because it was her favorite. Megan has excellent taste because they were the best scallops I've ever had - perfectly cooked & seasoned, hot and delicious. We also had the calamari, good, and the arugula salad which was dressed to perfection and will make me come back over and over again for. The atmosphere is nice and it was a quiet night so no wait for us. Our server Megan was a super star! Attentive, knowledgeable, fast, friendly, with a wonderful service attitude and warm smile.

Great pizza, wonderful customer service, followed Covid protocols. We got 2 types of pizzas, pasta for the kids, and the caprese salad. Reasonable pricing.

We ordered some take out last night and the two panini's were ok,but the caeser salad was a joke.A handful of romaine topped by a half teaspoon of what looked like mozzarella and a tiny bit of grated cheese and four croutons.I realize it's the off season but that was terrible.

Let me start off by saying I tried to give this place 0 stars, but couldn't post my story without giving it at lest 1start. The worst experience I have ever had in sea isle city. The service was horrible, our server would disappear for 15min at a time, and when we first sat down they gave us an attitude, for asking for another place setting. Which is crazy because because we made reservations. I Went with my family and waited an hour and half for 3 pizzas. The pizza was horrible came out under cooked, and for a wood fired oven they should have been nice an crispy. If all that wasn't bad enough the amount of flys that was in there was absolutely crazy. I wanted to leave, but we had a bunch of kids who were hungry, and we were already invested in this dinner. With that said I will not be going back to place anytime soon.

If it was possible, I would be giving Fratelli's a 0. From the moment we walked in the service was HORRIBLE & slow. The waitress named Alba, acted as if we were a burden when asked if we could have the table cleaned. It took a while for her to come back with water and to take our order. This was a Wednesday, in June. It was not that busy. Once we eventually ordered, the pizza was the wrong pizza. We politely explained that, and Alba argued with us! Argued. She basically had a temper tantrum. Alba also told us that it was our fault for the order being wrong, which is was not. It was her fault. We understand misunderstanding happens, but her behavior was unacceptable. We then spoke to the manager who continued to actually argue with us as well. Alba and him were clearly talking about us in another language right next to us as well. It was an overall awful experience & I'm not one to complain. I will not be going there or maybe any of their restaurants again. By the way, Alba added the gratuity in the check for 3 people. Might I add, the menu was misleading & only has two prices for the pizza, but have a large. We thought we ordered the $16 pizza and it ended up being $23. Spend your money somewhere else! There are a lot of hard working, kind and mature people working in SIC who deserve it!

Got a few slices last week for the first time! The dough was the best ever! Not boardwalk pizza, more gourmet and really delicious! Never thought I'd ever like the buffalo chicken pizza but it seriously was one of the best most naughty yummy things I've ever had, and the blue cheese dressing on top omg . I was so impressed with the quality of the dough, all the ingredients actually, and how large & packed the slices were! A must try for a diet cheat day for sure!!!

We walked in and got seated right away. Ordered Buffalo wings and they were delivered hot a crispy. Sauce was served on the side but it worked because sauce was hot. Was not served with blue cheese, the only downfall. We ordered the meatball pizza, the sausage pizza, and the margarita. All were delicious! Crust was light and crispy. Sauce was tasty. Sorry no pictures because we ate it fast.

Been here multiple times. Pizza good. Fast service. Has outdoor dining and BYOB always good.

The restaurant was cute but when we were seated the menu was limited. One of the place settings had long dark hair wrapped around the silverware. The waitress was not pleasant or helpful. The water tasted horrible. Meals came out in piece meal at different times. Our party of four had an 18% gratuity added to the bill without the waitress explaining that was added. Thankfully we reviewed the bill, otherwise, our party would have added more gratuity that was not well deserved.

Not thrilled. We definitely love this pizza but we were disappointed with severe lack of toppings for the price. We are totally willing to pay for the delicious pizza but the 12" chicken pizza had one tiny sliver on each slice. And the meatball pizza had less than 1 meatball worth on whole pie.

The pizza was okay, but my entree (pictured) was $14.00 and this is what it looked like. Pathetic.

I had lunch at Fratelli's this week after driving by it at least one hundred times. I'm very familiar with shore pizza, which is convenient, greasy, and (somewhat) cheap. Fratelli's is none of these things. That's not to say I won't be back to Fratelli's, but buyer beware -- you're getting full pies (personal or large) with very fresh, homemade ingredients and you'll pay a premium for it. All this to say, the food is delicious. We shared the calamari, which is grilled and so light, though we were initially expecting it to be fried. I had the salamini piccante and bae had the pollo piccante. Both were great, but the fresh "crushed" tomatoes were SO GOOD I don't think I'd order a white pie again. But ricotta. But tomatoes. Idk, you can't go wrong I suppose. They do accept cards, but they do not serve by the slice and the service wasn't particularly friendly. Great for a date when you want to be left alone! Not great if you want to keep it moving. BYOB if you fancy!

Fantastic pizza!! I lived in Italy for 4 months but this pizza is the closest I've had to real Italian pizza since I returned back. Friendly staff and cute shop made it an all around great experience.

Trying to support local restaurants in Avalon during this pandemic. This place was not following state or local guidelines as no one there was wearing a mask when I went to pick up my order. I refused my order and will not return. If they have no regard for customers' safety they should not be in business.

Excellent pizza! The salad and pizza is worth it. BYOB that sometimes requires a translator (I think most of the servers are Russian?) but they are friendly and efficient. A little pricey for even the beach. This was my third visit and throughly enjoyed the food. The only thing is that every time something is an issue. First time no AC (very hot). Second time there was a communication issue with the waitress, this last time there was smoke issue as we were wrapping up - fire department arrived as we were leaving. But would recommend for a pizza and salad lunch or dinner in SIC.

We were staying on sea Isle City and went to Fratelli's for dinner. We had my 5 year old granddaughter with us. We had the most delicious meal! They made her a special chicken cutlet and we had the buratta and the meatballs and the mushroom pizza. It was fresh and everything was absolutely delicious!! Our waitress was a sweet heart ! We will definitely be going back to Fratelli's when we get back to Sea Isle City!!!! Thanks to the staff !! ..... oh wait..... the gelato is soooo delicious!!!!

Let me first start out with the service it was horrendous, waitress gave us the menu and never came back to get our order, I had to go inside and find her to place order, pizza was garbage 19$ for a medium pie I was better off going to domino's for 2 medium pies for 5.99$. The cheese was not melted it was like a block... the sauce fell right off the pizza. It was more like pizza soup then coal fired pizza. I will never go back to that place again.

Order 2 pizza for take out pizza was good and hot . We all loved the pizza . The service was great especially since they were doing take out and outside dining. They all were practicing their covid plan

Understanding that we are in a Covid era it would make sense that Fratelli's would have plenty of time to update their web site so that patrons would not be mislead reading their menu Seems trivial but when you place an order online and the order is received, you are charged and then given a pick up number you would assume that the order was good to go. We were given a 43 minute pick up for 2 orders of gelato it wouldn't be a problem. That wasn't the case. I walked in masked up to pick up the order and was informed by a woman who was sitting at a table eating her food with her fingers that that do not sell gelato in the winter. That would be fine if they would take down specific items from their web site. We have be going to Fratelli's since they have open and have never been impressed with there food. This was the last straw. We will not patronize this place again and will pass the word to our friends on the island. Update your web site!!!!!

Slow. Inattentive. Half hour to take our order. Now another half hour gone by and no food. No care or concern.

The menu is on the smaller side but everything we ordered was good. The Bruschetta was our favorite, so yummy! Enjoyed their outdoor dining.

Placed a phone order for a white pizza (so signs of anything other than garlic powder and cheese) and wings at 4:30 with instructions to pickup at 5:30. Picked up and got back to the house (3blocks away and by car) only to find the pizza and wings were room temperature. I called and was told by the lady to bring it back and they would warm it up. Pretty lame response for a $35 order but will never order again at this place.

Fantastic brick oven pizza. Thin, crisp, and served super hot. Very nice decor, the pizza oven is on display and practically a work of art. Not many tables inside and a handful more on the sidewalk outside. Caprese & Caesar salads are large enough for two. Pizzas are about 14in round and I'd say 2 pizzas are good for 3 adults. (Don't believe the bad reviews saying the pizzas are 10in, most likely they are left by competitors.) The family that opened this place obviously made a huge investment and it shows in the food and decor. I think once they are open for a while, and the staff gets more experience, this will change to a 5 star review.
