Fraula

We recently got asked our favorite restaurant in Valencia and I couldn’t answer the question till today, it’s Fraula. A Michelin star restaurant that deserves every accolade it receives. Fraula is strawberry in a long forgotten Valencia language deriving from Latin. I want to add that I have seafood allergies and asked for a customized menu, the team did not hesitate to help and created one for me, thank you. Fraula is perfect, every dish in our seven course meal took us on an adventure in flavor and smell that was sublime. We will definitely be back to try their summer menu. The menu is seasonal and changes every fourth month to ensure fresh and current produce, seafood and meats. I can’t understand why Fraula is not booked months in advance, it’s that good. Food: 5 which is not a fair number as every dish is amazing and creative. I wish I had words to describe what our taste buds enjoyed but I can’t. Not a single disappointment and the creativity was spectacular. I would love to describe each course but I cannot do it justice. Service: 5 outstanding and welcoming. Adrian and the team of servers just ensured our experience would be memorable and perfect. Atmosphere: 5 very clean and modern lines with the space being open and welcoming.

This is such a great experience. We went for the nine course tasting menu with wine arrangement. This was one of the best pairings we ever had. Every dish was so accomplished, with a great level of detail and finesse. Simply outstanding. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Valencia!

We were here to finish our trip to Spain. We had the 9 course tasting menu with the wines and it was all amazing. The wines really complemented the dishes. If you want a Michelin experience in Valencia I would very much recommend Fraula!

I was eager to try the full course tasting menu at this year's(2025) Michelin-starred restaurant. I would say that I definitely expected much more from the food! I thought the first three small bites were amuse-bouches, but they were part of the menu. I also will not go into details on which dish was good and which was not... at that level and price - you expected everything to be good(Of course that may be only my taste.. and my girlfriend's one). And yes - there were some really good things - some of the dishes, presentation of the food(although they may add some more fancy way to bring it to you) and the service!

Superb. At this price point, the best meal in the city, and rivals the restaurants that cost much more. Every dish is delicious and beautiful. The menu changes frequently. The lunch for €65 is a particularly good deal, and tables seem to always be available. Despite a Michelin star, this place feels utterly underrated.

A very bright interior setting for the restaurant! Most of the dishes are delicious and creative ! Only pity is the service a bit cold and distance , easily creates a bit serous atmosphere! One waiter often with poker face , would love to have a bit more Spanish smile ! Especially in a Michelin Star restaurant!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a week of tasting menus. We were excited about this Michelin star small tasting menu for a Friday afternoon without kids. Started lovely what we thought was an amuse-bouche but it was the first two appetizers. Fish was delicious and the wild boar was dry. Also my husband’s had a piece of foil in the boar when he cut into it. No apology. I was disappointed. The dessert was exciting and fun not to mention delicious with different arrays of chocolate. The cava was lovely as was the “fresh” white wine, the red wine is a wine I have back in my house currently. So props to our local wine bail for buying excellent wine served in a Michelin star restaurant.

Exceptional value for the quality of cuisine. Flawless execution of the dishes and stunning presentation! Such a delightful lunch coupled with gracious and professional service. A well deserved Michelin ⭐️ I look forward to returning to experience their other tasting menus.
