"You’ll see at least three people with a cocoa-sprinkled lady finger balanced on their coffee cup outside Fred Coffee & Bakery. Sit on the suntrap terrace in Bloomsbury and get an iced tiramisu latte that’s part coffee, part dessert." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

Fred Coffee & Bakery - Review - Holborn - London - The Infatuation

"We guarantee you’ll see at least three people with a cocoa-sprinkled lady finger balanced on their coffee cup outside Fred Coffee & Bakery. That’s because the thing to order here is the tiramisu latte. It’s a moreish, sweet, refreshing iced drink that tastes like a dessert and a coffee in one. The cafe itself is a beige, bright little spot with inviting stools looking out onto a quiet Bloomsbury street, and a few tables on the suntrap terrace outside—that get busy when the weather’s good. It’s ideal for a quick coffee catch-up, or a little pick-me-up when that 3pm slump hits. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Rianne Shlebak

I popped into this cafe because of the style of the cafe . I enjoyed the environment, the arrangement of the seating and the feeling of wanting to relax and eat something great. I tried the brioche bun with salmon, the mozzarella, tomato with balsamic vinegar. Simply done very well ❤️‍🩹. I also had a few bite sized items like the biscuits and carrot cake. The quality and price are matched correctly along with the service. I also spoke to Fred and conversed with him on his product range . Quality focused chef. The experience was what I was expecting. To improve the experience and expectations they can use plates and cutlery that matched the quality of food and service. That said , as a passer-by it's not necessary. Packaging for takeaway is definitely high quality which I benefitted from because I took a few items for my foodie sister. Overall worth a second visit.

We came here just to try the tiramisu coffee (we had seen it on TikTok) and it was absolutely worth the trip across the city. The coffee is very rich but so delicious. What made the experience even better were the girls working there – they were incredibly kind and welcoming, and even surprised us with a complimentary house dessert. Everything was tasty, the atmosphere lovely, and the service outstanding. Highly recommended!

I just want to say thankyou to Selinne and staff. I walked in with an abundance of smiles and warmth. I asked for my cappuccino specifically made and the staff did everything I asked for. The pastries were amazing. I’m gutted it had to close at 17:00. I recommend this place and I will be coming up next time I’m in London. A real rarity in London where most staff are cold, robotic and careless. Keep it up. Thankyou

This cafe is absolutely one of my favorites! The service from Dilra and Selin was top-notch – they really know how to make you feel welcome! You simply have to try the strawberry matcha and the pistachio affogato; they are out of this world! I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone reading this review visit this amazing spot. You’ll be blown away by their incredible service and delightful food. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! 😊

I visited this here on a Saturday morning and really enjoyed it. It is a small place but very cute and beautiful with fresh pastries and good quality coffee. The staff were kind and welcoming. I had their lemon Madeira cake and it was delicious. I also had a latte which tasted great. Everything was fresh and good quality and I was very satisfied with my visit.

A small bakery with limited seating but a lovely selection of pastries. My pistachio brioche was light and fluffy with loads of pistachios on the topping. Definitely good ingredients were used. However at £6.95 more expensive than other comparable coffee shops. Even though I was sitting in all food and drinks were given in disposable cups which was not great.

I just popped in today to celebrate the end of my internship as I’ve been meaning to go to the bakery all summer. The staff are so lovely and kind and their drinks and food are soooo tasty! Also thank you to the Barista who served me, the best seller the pistachios on it… chef’s kiss! So light, fluffy and creamy despite not looking like it. Absolutely delicious! I will be back.

We went there for coffee and dessert. We couldn’t decide between the tiramisu and the pistachio dessert, so we tried the tiramisu and we absolutely loved it. When the staff noticed that we also wanted to try the pistachio one, they kindly offered it to us on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Both desserts we tried were honestly among the most delicious we’ve ever had in our lives 🤤🫶
