Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

On a recent drive from California to Nevada I stopped in for a quick bite at Freddy’s. Had a great experience. First of all my order was correct ( which is always a plus)the customer service team was great, and the guy who handed me my food was extremely friendly! I wish I would’ve gotten his name. The food was definitely made to order because it was piping hot. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean.

Totally tasty and addictingly fun. Had the standard double with lettuce, tomato, onion, dressing and shoestring size fries. It all tasted fresh, special and was plentiful. Drinks are Pepsi products, love the Mountain Dew whereas my girlfriend had a chocolate with brownie shake.

Always a yummy meal. Great customer service at the drive thru, especially if you get Kim H. Smiles, kindness and the order is correct. Dining in, we've always found clean eating areas and quick food prep. Feels like dining in days of old diner. Love it! Food is great too!

I thought I would try it..... first time. Helly expensive.... 50 dollars for two people outrageous, and the food isn't all that great for the price... Was expecting to spend 20 dollars less... Never again will I come here. The dude in the drive thru. was cool. Though hook me up with the sauce 🫙 💯❤️

Good fast food better than the typical fast food like carls McDon@ld's ect. Recommend the customer shakes they are bomb they definitely can compete with sonics shakes. Keep in mind they add a whole onion, so ask for less or none. The fries they have are good as well for someone who doesn't really care for fries

My son, daughter in law and granddaughter took me here. This was my first visit to Freddy's and definitely won't be my last. The food was great, nice atmosphere, clean restaurant and the frozen custard was amazing!!! I will be back soon.

Very happy customer service and the food was simple and delicious! The seasoned shoestring French fries was delightf, But if you like pickles these were amazing! We also got a custard that was very delicious. A very well kept and clean interior with clean bathrooms.

This fast food/ diner is a staple when I visit the High desert. The dine in experience is good ~ dining area is clean. Customer service for dining and drive thru is both great. I was craving a hot dog but the parking lot at Costco was the usual madhouse so I headed here instead. Their hot dogs are Vienna Beef so that is a plus. It came on a New England style bun which is top loading. I ordered online which made choosing the toppings easy. I chose mustard and sauerkraut. The hot dog was steamed and was a good size. It tasted good with a slight snap. There could have been more sauerkraut as I was given just a few strands which stuck to the top of the take out container. Otherwise a solid hot dog that met my craving. The combo meal came with fries. These are the skinny shoestring ones and were crispy with a seasoned coating. I dipped them in their Jalapeño Fry Sauce and that added a nice taste. The dipping sauce had only a slight kick to it so shouldn't be a problem for the spice adverse. The unsweetened ice tea was fresh brewed. It was strong yet refreshing. I also ordered their Signature Turtle sundae in concrete form. It had the freshest tasting pecans I have ever had! The vanilla custard was dense and creamy. The whipped cream with a cherry on top was a nice touch. I would definitely order this again in the future since it tasted so delicious. All in all, a good experience. I had to go inside to pick up my order and noticed the restaurant looked clean and inviting. I wouldn't hesitate to dine in for my next visit. Plenty of parking outside.

Been to another location twice and was impressed with their fries. Not this time though! Fries tasted old and hard, not good at all. California burger was acceptable enough but the patty was dry. I guess this just isn't the best location because my previous Freddys experience were amazing and I was impressed by the quality. Not sure I would try this location again. 1/5 for fries. 3/5 for California burger.

My buddy was getting hungry on our way to Vegas so I mentioned that there was a Freddy's in Victorville. He'd never been to one and going to McDonald's or In and Out gets boring after a while so he agreed to check it out. We both ordered the steakburger combo but rather than getting their skinny fries, he opted for the tots which were prepared to crispy perfection. The burgers are of the smashburger type and are a nice change of pace from the usual chain burger. My friend HAD to try the frozen custard as well and was quite pleased with his cheesecake custard. Service was efficient and the workers were very polite. The dining area is kept very clean. I would recommend stopping there if you just can't look at another Big Mac or Whopper but you crave a quick burger.

Wish there was more Freddys around my area. Was driving through Victorville, and really wanted a burger. Freddy is one of those chains that actually smashes their patties til you get those crispy/lacy edges. I really like my bacon double cheese burger. Their fries were thin and crispy, perfect combo to dip in their creamy frozen custard. I will definitely come back if i'm ever around the area. They have a huge lot, which they share in a plaza. The people tending me were kind and quick! Quick-tip, sign up on their app for a free concrete or smash burger.

The place has a 1950 fell to it with a modern flair. I hot the original combo. Love the french fries, small and a lot of them. The fry sauce was good too. Customer service was very nice. I do agree with other reviewers that is a bit over priced.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is one of my favorite places for frozen custard (and Culver's). This particular location is off the I-15, in the same plaza as Kohl's, specifically right across from The Original Roadhouse Grill (they share the same parking lot). My husband, our little girl and I decided to make a stop here from our road trip back home to Los Angeles, from Las Vegas. We came in this past Monday, around 5 pm. We ended up ordering: Single Dish Vanilla, $4.39 prior to tax- We had our frozen custard topped with whipped cream and cherry, which is complementary (and optional if you do not want any of that on your frozen custard). We ordered vanilla so that our little girl could have some (because chocolate can be toxic and dangerous for dogs). We sat outside to enjoy our dessert. The frozen custard was creamy and just perfect for the hot day. ----------------------------- (Total= $4.77 after tax) The employee who took our order was friendly and wait time was not too long. However, there were a few flies inside and also the ladies restroom was dirty. I don't know if I would come back to this location since it is out of my way and also I don't like the area of Victorville ... sorry to those who live out here. But overall, we had a good experience.

I ordered a salad, burger, fries and shake yesterday at the drive thru and the price came out to over $40. This food was a total disappointment. The burger looked like it was thrown together and then they smashed the bun. My French fries were all dumped out inside the bag. My salad had onions which I asked for no onions and they didn't give me salad dressing. I will not be going back here. Very poor quality. The salad is almost $10 and was very small.

Our usual stop for a quick bite when driving from LA to Las Vegas ! My kids loved the food . The shakes was amazing and the smash burger was very tasty . Staff were friendly . My only issue was the trash cans were over flowing and the bathroom was dirty . Definitely would recommend hiring more staff to maintain this restaurant.

This FFC really deserves 4-5 stars. The customer service is far superior to other Freddy's. Their service and quality is still awesome a year after we visited them last time. There is still ample parking in their shared lot in a large strip mall. On this visit we not only got their custard, but also tried their burgers and fries for the first time, both were excellent. They have the skinny style burger patties, which is why they offer multiple patty burgers. The bun and thin patty have a particular flavor that is difficult to describe but us some fat different from other burger joints--we like it. Their fries are slimmer than other places, but this also makes them crispier. Their custard still tastes great too. The people who work here are friendly and seem to be more mature than some other FFC locations. Consequently, they have greater customer service skills and common sense. They also have teamwork to help get the orders out in a timely manner and not have the custard melt while you are waiting for it. This FFC was pretty busy the last two times we came by and do it is a little noisy inside, but that is a good thing as they have good business. If u have not tried FFC, it is definitely worth a drive out there to give their burgers, fries, and custard a shot! We will be back next time we are in the area.

First time here , heard good reviews from a co worker . I guess smash burgers are the new hype ! But anyway over pretty good burger , the onion rings were ok , the service was great , super friendly and happy to help workers . Looks like the other big thing here is the desserts , didn't try any on this trip but maybe next time , they looked really good .

We came to Freddy's family night and the kids got. Freddy's gear and Freddy's school supplies. They even have someone making balloons for the kids. Come to Freddys for family night, it happens every first Tuesday of the month. Mark it in your calendars.

Amazing service! My first time going to a Freddy's! They didn't have chicken tenders so I ended up getting the original double burger with cheese and onions only and it was delicious! Great portions (loved the double patty) and very tender and flavorful. Their fries are good too- matchstick, a bit thinner than shoestring but perfectly cooked and seasoned. The shake was rich and creamy- loved the peanut butter mixed with banana! Highly recommend this place!!

This Freddy's is usually our stop during our long driving trips. We did visit the Barstow location and will never be back, we walked in the door and got bad vibes Anyhow this Freddy's location has always been so nice! All the employees are upbeat and the food comes out fresh, pipping hot and delicious! Everything is delicious from the burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwich, fries, tator tots and can't forget there dirt cup concretes ! We will see you Freddy's on our next adventure!

So my work decided to send me 65 miles away so that means Freddys for lunch. The food is great tasting and the employees are very friendly. I came in at the right time, only one person ahead of me. This place can get pretty busy.

Vanilla Custard is worth the stop when you are on a long road trip. Simple, creamy, sweet cold comfort food in a cup. I love that they offer so many different size and topping options. Thanks Freddy's for making a fantastic road trip even better!

Great pitstop for the last leg to home. Freddy's has become our stop when we drive through Victorville on the way home from either Vegas, Tahoe or Mammoth. The burgers have always been satisfying but in reality we come for the custard. For my family of 6 our bill was just over $120. Still hard to digest for "fast food". But I know everything is expensive. Service was fast and friendly. Dining area and bathrooms were clean. The only downside was their Diet Coke was out. After all when consume a burger, fries and a sundae you want to save on calories somewhere! Thanks Freddy's! See you on the next road trip.

Normally good food, but today the burger was so salty that it had to be tossed in the trash.

First time here! Headed to Calico Ghost Town. Stopped for lunch. Wonderful experience!! The Friendly counter person was a joy! We both had the Double Smash Cheeseburger Cooked to Perfection and Delicious! We made one a Combo with crisp skinny fries Also shared a Large Turtle Sundae which was delicious and a huge treat that we both enjoyed!! They came by our table to ask if we liked everything and we certainly did!! Great Quality and Great Value with exceptional service!

So so good! I love stopping here while going up north. The frozen custard is too good, you can customize it or get their signature ones. Either way is amazing and their burgers are bomb!! Service is good and ambiance is good as well'

Amazing good burgers, shakes & service what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this place if you're in Victorville. The custard shakes are so good! The restaurant has a 50's deco vibe but the music is totally 80's. Don't miss out on this burger place. All the workers are nice too

Great stop on the way up the back way to Big Bear from LA. Smash burgers were amazing! Chocolate frozen custard was amazing! Cheese curds were amazing! I wish there was a Freddy's closer to our home.

It's been a while since my last vist (3years ago). I'm not in this area very much, but it is a very pleasant stop, clean, and friendly. Food is great. Fries are super crispy shoelace fries. 80s -2000's music playing in the dining room. I definitely suggest the apple turnover and dirt and worms sundae .

This concept resembles Steak n' Snake, Shame Shack, or Whuutaburger. It is overpriced and average at best.

The food was great. The service was great. However the lobby was absolutely disgusting. Had my husband not already paid we would have left. I was pleased that the gentleman running the drive-thru on May 4th. @ 7:10pm took it upon himself to sweep the floor and the cashier at the front counter went out and wiped down all of the tables. Thank you for addressing this frequent customers concerns and cleaning the lobby area where the customers need to eat

I guess I'm done with this place. 24.99 and no receipt, for 1 burger 1 chicken sandwich and 1 large fry. Could have at least wiped the grease off the burger container. I don't see valve here anymore... The double burger doesn't even reach the top of the lower portion of the box

This is a place I like to pass by when driving through the area. The people that work there are ok. Not super friendly but not rude. They get the job done. The food comes out in a timely manner considering everything is fresh. The burgers are obviously the star of the show. The patty is crispy and savory, perfectly seasoned. The bun is buttery and crips on the outside and soft on the inside. It's a very great combo. The fries are more like shoe string fries so they're also perfectly crisp and well seasoned. I also don't want to forget the shaves they come with. Better than ranch and ketchup. Don't forget the sauce! I think it's a bit pricey for a burger, but it's also one of theirs burgers you don't run into everyday, so it's fine to splurge once in a while! Totally recommend!

Definitely worth the hype!! We were on our way to Vegas and I always search on Yelp before eating anywhere, and their reviews were on point! Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh! Their fries are to die for. My son ate everything in his plate and that rarely happens. And to talk about the custard!!!! YUMMMM it's a must have. The softest texture you can imagine and it's not too sweet which was perfect because ypu could actually finish the order. Other places the ice cream is so sweet you just want to toss it half way through. Loved loved loved!!

My order was messed up completely. (It happens. We're all human) I was upset and had to go back but they made everything right and gave us new custards as well. Even tho I was upset they made everything better. Their customer service is on point. Thank you Freddie's!

I read about Freddy's in an LA Times article ranking the 15 best fast food burgers, and I had to try it because it was my first time hearing about it. Walking in, I loved the dining room because it reminded me of an In-N-Out but more elegant and colorful. I ordered a Freddy's double cheeseburger (their signature) and was also surprised and delighted that it tasted much better than an In-N-Out double double. In fact, it was what a double double SHOULD taste like, because both patties were actually hot and juicy (not dry) and they were thicker. The patties are smashed style, which usually are dry, but in this case they were not (although they were a bit greasy/oily). Instead they were delicious because the edges were crispy and hot. Did I mention that each bite was very hot and juicy? I just can't get over how good this burger was. Very different than In-N-Out where there is only a dry piece of meat and just like biting into a bunch of lettuce and tomato (sorry In-N-Out, I still love you but that is my reality with you). Moving on to the custard: wow. We ordered the seasonal pumpkin pie custard, which promised a full slice of pie mixed into vanilla custard. This was so different than eating pumpkin flavored custard, or custard where pumpkin filling has been blended in. With each bite you would get a big CHUNK of pie crust or pie filling or both...it was heavenly and unlike other pumpkin desserts I've had! I looked on a map to see where the other Freddy's locations are in SoCal. Only Victorville (this location) plus two in San Diego County (lucky San Diegans!). I truly wish I lived closer to Freddy's, but it will have to be a stop next time I'm heading East or South, 1.5-2 hours out of LA!

One of the best chili cheese fries! I love their fry sauce they have it adds so much to the chili cheese fries. Ugh. . . I'm drooling thinking about it. My family loves their burgers. And their custard is amazing. You can't get anything bad here.

What a fantastic burger!! We got an early start to Vegas & were starving by Hesperia and my girlfriend has been wanting to try Freddy's so we decided to take this opportunity, and so glad we did! First of all Freddy was a US veteran that was with Douglas MacArthur in the liberation of the Philippines - so happy that this veteran has a delicious burger joint, not to mention a thriving business. These burgers are made with premium beef, which you can really taste! (These aren't your typical fast food burgers) All burgers don't hit the grill until you actually order it and the slow melted cheese on a butter toasted bun is so delicious. Their shoestring fries add that nice layer to the meal too. I got the Freddy's Original Double ($10.49 for the meal / $7.49 burger only) and my girlfriend got the Double steak burger CA style ($10.99 meal - $7.99 burger only). Both burgers were consistently great. To finish it off we got a mini Concrete ($4.50) which is a frozen specialty custard - we got the turtle which had caramel, pecans & hot fudge. It was a winner! Great & fast experience and we will be back!

Fish Filet Sandwich is excellent. Honestly, it's the best one I've ever had from a fast food place. Fresh taste and aroma like you made it yourself, with big pickle slices, cheese, dressing and lettuce. The Jalapeño/Pepper Jack burger is delicious.

My daughter asked for a burger with a lettuce wrap instead of the bun. They said they could do it, but they didn't. He also said that he put Freddy's sauce in the bag. It was not. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.

this was my very first time trying out freddy's, i got the #5 (jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese) and a chocolate brownie sunday. Coys service was absolutely amazing (i mean i think that's his name, it's on the receipt lol!) he helped me understand the menu more and answered all my questions with a smile on his face (,: thank you coy for giving me a welcoming introduction to freddy's, i will definitely come again

Freddy's is just as good if not better than In n Out. Food and service here has been consistent throughout the years. Sad that the Thousand Oaks location closed though.

I love love love their skinny seasoned french fries! They are always delicious and hot. Their onion rings are equally as good. Everything I have ordered here has been really good. This is my go to spot for fast food!

On our way back from Vegas. Came to redeem our free item on the app. Food is good, but the bathrooms are dirty. The restaurant is dirty. Bleh

every time i visit the never have ice cream sandwich for sale. they claim to be sold out, i think they never re-stock the item. same with the soft custard, always sold out. last time i was there the holiday flavored concretes were also sold out. the burgers are mid, the bonus is other the fast food places in Victorville seem like they smash the burger or it was pre packaged. here at least they look like a person cooked it. however, if i just wanted burgers i would go somewhere else.

We came here for the first time. When we walked in the girl at the counter, her name is Brandy. She was absolutely amazing to us. We did not know what we wanted and she was very patient with us and I really appreciate that. Customer service is everything and Brandy proved that and the food was pretty darn delicious as well

Food was great excellent service honestly I've never been here before new to the area and definitely will return reasonably priced food really worth it. Good portion sizes. Good employees good service. We had this on the way back from calico Ghost Town and honestly, it was a nice end of our trip.

Burgers and fries are amazing! The fries are shoe lace thin and crunchy with some spicy ketchup. Family friendly place and happy servers.

We do not have a Freddy's in Washington State. We were first introduced to one in Kansas. My wife simply has to have a steakburger whenever we are close to one. She goes for the California style with tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. This Freddy's was not really close for us, adding a couple of hours to our trip, but it was worth it. My reason for going to Freddy's was not only a steakburger, but the frozen custard. My "go to" is the turtle custard. I get it in a cup (forgot what they call it) instead of a sundae. It lasted me all of the way from Victorville to Fesno, CA. Toward the end of trip it was in a milkshake form, but still delicious.

Normally I would comfortably give Freddys 4 to 5 stars. However, today was an exception. We arrived at approximately 9pm and the place closes at 11pm. The place was absolutely filthy. The floors had all kind of sticky stains, the register counter was dirty and sticky as was the soda fountain area. The dining area was not any better. Trash all over the floor and tables not cleaned. This place was a wholesale disaster. If the common areas look that bad, I can't imagine what the kitchen must be like. Very disappointing for a place I really enjoy.

I'm never in this area but I love freddys so when I was out there I had to stop for a milkshake. I ordered a chocolate PB milkshake. What I got was a chocolate concrete with butterfinger. Um ew. The person in the drive thru offered to remake it but being in the drive thru I can't see what they're doing and I don't like sending food back. Anyone seen the movie "Road Trip"? Anyways, I was very disappointed. I wanted a milkshake and it just didn't happen. And butterfinger is definitely not the same as PB.
