The tour wasn't quite what I expected. I thought we would get a brief history of the area from the tour guide, and unfortunately, he was not very knowledgeable, but he was friendly.
There was a situation where another driver from a different company hit our trolley. I felt our drivers immediate verbal response was very unprofessional.
As far as the tour/wineries are concerned the first winery (Baron's Creek) we visited was absolutely gorgeous (can definitely see this as a place for bridal showers or weddings) and had a good selection. The second place (Texas Mead Works/Blue Lotus Winery) was known for the mead, and it was delicious. This spot is definitely somewhere I would go with friends to have a drink and relax. The third stop (Texas Wine Company/TWC) was a waste of everyone's time/money. I don't think one person in our group enjoyed the wine.
The wineries are picked by the passenger preferences in wine. Most of our trolley preferred sweeter wines, so the tour company tried to accommodate us. If you don't like something at the wineries speak up. I did at Baron's Creek, and the young lady brought me a different variety than the rest of the table. Overall, it was a great experience with my girlfriend for our first wine tour.
