"Occupying a soaring, warehouse-like space, Reyn Studio—named after owner, Reyn Lambert—is a hybrid gym/yoga studio. In that same vein, most of the classes are a mix, too: There's yoga-lates, dance cardio, yoga for runners, and a meditation session (which is actually free). The yoga here is generally more athletic, and they offer a lot of community classes that are nicely priced at $7."

During a trip to New Orleans recently, my partner and I tried out a class at this amazing studio and ended up going back every single day of our vacation. Beautiful space, stellar classes, amazing instructors, strong focus on community. The three- or five-day passes for travellers include mat and towel rental, and you will feel like you are home. My partner and I have different levels of experience (beginner to advanced) and we both had a great experience. Truly transformative, can't wait to go back.

Google
Waste of time! They have classes posted but no one is even in the studio! We went to both locations today 4/25. Because they haven’t updated their voicemail or answer their phone. It says they open after 4/5. The business is run like a second thought. And your money/time shouldn’t be wasted

Google
This is an outstanding yoga studio. I was visiting the area but wanted to stay on track with my practice, so I bought the "weekender" option which is $50 for 3 classes on 3 consecutive days. I also noticed while I was there that you can go back for a second class on the same day for only $5. Mats are available free your first visit or $1 after that. They also have bathrooms, towel service and a good assortment of props. Do be warned - some of their classes are heated! I didn't realize going in so I was caught off guard a bit. My favorite class I took was the lunar flow. My favorite instructor was Olivia. At the end of the warm classes, the instructors come around with a cool eucalyptus towel for your face during savasana - bliss! If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular. This is a rare thing - a studio which is welcoming & unpretentious but somehow still clean and well organized. Check it out when you have a chance, you will be so glad that you did.

I am in town for work and needed a yoga class after a long conference day. Free To Be was the perfect match! Gorgeous studio, experienced and helpful teachers, and challenging class!

Visiting in from out of town for a couple of days, I was very excited to find this lovely yoga studio. Did a 60 min. flow on Saturday morning with Maggie and it was fantastic. Memorable yoga break for my short getaway to NOLA. It's a friendly studio, in a beautiful location. I would attend regularly if I lived in town. Thank you, guys!!

Google
Hey there. I tried to take a class in this yoga studio last week during my short visit to nola. It was hard to get information about classes hours and prices. Went there twice. First time went upstairs and nobody was there. Not even a sign or a board with information for new students. Called but no one picked up. Second time I spoke with a instructor who was leading a class and kindly gave me and another person, who was there too, a verbal schedule and prices. But he was in the middle of a class. Sorry but I decided to go to bikram yoga a few block down. Namaste

Google
Great yoga studio! I’ve been going regularly for over two years now. Everyone is inviting. They have a variety of classes and instructors with different teaching styles which helps keep things fun and challenging. Tonight(Wednesday) I took Maggie’s class, she always makes me laugh and has a great play list going before and after class.

Google
I really enjoyed my experience at the “free to be” studio. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I paid the $25 for the drop in rate and I thought that was great for a 75 min class. The $25 included a mat, mat towel topper and a face towel rental. My favorite part about it was that they had multiple instructors walking around doing hands on assists throughout the class. It was friendly for all levels including beginners and advanced yogis. Beautiful space with a cozy welcoming energy.

Yelp
I visited FTB while we were in NOLA for from Michigan on a business trip. If I lived here, I would have joined on the spot. I didn't get to take advantage of their out-of-towner special. But, they offer 3 classes with mat and towel rental for around $60. That's a great deal and option. Good to know in the future. The facility is beautiful and really relaxing. The sun poured in the big industrial style windows. (Helpful to know for the morning classes). My instructor was awesome. I love that they offer a yes/no card to opt in or out of hands on assistance and instruction. It was helpful to ensure correct form. I attended the Yoga beats class and whew!!!! I was a bucket of sweat. It was fantastic!! Good to know but not found on the website (that I saw): they have a shower available to use after class if needed. And had I known, I would have come prepared. Because I needed it! It was also super helpful and refreshing to find a healthier side of town. There are lots of great healthy food options near by that you're just not going to readily find on the other side of Canal street. So glad I found this place. Well done, FTB! Thank you for your hospitality! I even picked up my one souvenir NOLA t-shirt. Can't wait to wear it!

Yelp
I was in town for vacation, and I try to get my asana practice in while supporting independent, boutique local studios. I'm an early riser, so naturally I'm all for morning classes. I was perusing through Mindbody and saw that Free to Be Power Yoga has 6am weekday classes. I signed up for the 6am weekday class on Monday morning. I unfortunately missed the class because of the Uber app. The address that auto-populated in the app was inaccurate. After I google searched the correct address (725 Magazine St.) and course corrected with my driver, I was 8 minutes late to the class. I'm a yoga teacher out in California, so I know better than to show up late and disrupt the class. I had my driver route me back to my hotel. I contacted the studio via email, explained my situation, and requested for a reschedule for the following day. Colleen responded back to me promptly and helped sign me up for class the next day at the same time. I had such a positive email interaction with Colleen, and I felt her genuine care and empathy. Not all studio managers are like this FYI! The studio was absolutely stunning. Like the name of the studio, the space felt very open, expansive, freeing. Loved the exposed beams, bricks, and just the whole industrial warehouse look. I thought it was cool how they used curtains to transform the practice space and draw your awareness away from the reception area. I took Lauren's 60-min. all levels class that I believe was based off Baptiste's Power style. I haven't taken a power class in a while, so I had fun challenging myself with the arm balances and inversions she offered. Great music set list.

Yelp
I was visiting NOLA and took a couple great classes here. The Friday 5:15am class and the Sunday 8am class......AWESOME I liked the instructor better in the Friday class but both were great. The Sunday class had a bit more explanation Overall a great experience and I'd love to go back when I'm in town

Yelp
This place is so amazing! Take a class here for sure. Everyone is so nice and supportive. I love that they have a 7:30PM class too!

Yelp
I'm a flight attendant that was only in town for 1 night. I searched the MindBody app for nearby yoga & happened to be there the day they offered community class. It was a $10 fee. So worth it. Beau was the instructor. He is awesome. The space is large. It was a full class. I paid for the mat/towel rental- $3. I Hope next time I'm in town I can pop into another class.

Yelp
What a gorgeous studio! Feels like practicing in a loft with the windows and exposed brick. Stopped by while traveling, and I'm glad I did. The studio is heated, and depending on the time of day it may even be warmer if sun is shining in the class. My class focus was on hips which was much needed and the instructor was great. Interested in everyone's comfort(from the temp to understanding the moves). This isn't going to be a super cardio heavy class if you're looking for one, more of a focus on staying in the pods did longer. Renting a mat is free the first class and water is $2. Towels are available at no cost.

Yelp
So Free to Be recently took over this space from Reyn studio. I have been a member of Free to Be for a few years so I really like the teachers and the practice. That's a given. I showed up last Sunday for their grand opening. The space is fantastic. I took a few pics but had to post to Reyn's old Yelp page. The space is very in line with the Warehouse District. The studio has tons of natural light and so much room to practice. Hardwood floors and exposed brick look really nice for this downtown studio. As for the facilities, they have a few bathrooms, a nice check in desk and plenty of cubbies. The uptown location is my usual spot but I plan on making a few trips downtown to practice in this wonderful studio. Sunday, there is free parking downtown plus Peche and Meril are really close. Great location to segway into some post-exercise brunch.

Yelp
Reyn Studios is my favorite yoga studio of all time! It's a gorgeous, large space with high ceilings and a lot of windows with that great natural lighting. I love the minimal decor with their hanging lights, exposed brick interior, Himalayan rock salt lamps and green plants that align the window ledge. It all contributes to setting the mood for an amazing yoga session. There's a huge mirror along one side of the wall which I find is an added benefit for checking my posture. The room is slightly heated to a comfortable temperature - it's not exactly "hot yoga" but it'll definitely get you sweating those toxins out. What I like most is their ventilation system because it never feels stuffy or unbearable. At the end of each class, the instructors walk around with eucalyptus scented towels to cool you down. Their R1 classes (Vinyasa yoga) are the only ones I've tried so far but they're great for anyone new to yoga or looking to develop their practice further. I always feel so limber and relaxed when I leave here. My sister practices yoga regularly in New York; I took her here for a class with me the last time she was in town and she was also very impressed with the facility and instructor.

Yelp
Reyn is a really gorgeous studio. I stopped by the shop to check in and was impressed by the merchandise and by how quiet and calm it felt. The studio, Mainstage, was super clean and beautiful. As some other reviewers mentioned, it was very warm, which I found to be perfect. I noticed that you could get a discount on the website by signing up online, so I was able to do a drop-in for $14 which is a big discount from the usual $20 rate. Although, you should expect to pay for parking and plan to drive around for a minute looking for a spot, too. The class that I took was listed as an "All Levels" class. I would not exactly say that was true. There was almost no explanation of poses. The instructor was very nice and welcoming as she walked around adjusting people's posture, but she simply said the name of each pose with no demonstration at all. Everyone seemed to follow along fine and I definitely got the impression that I was probably the only new-comer which could be why she wasn't modeling, but I found that a bit intimidating anyway. This is also the first class that I've been in where it's pretty much expected that everyone can get into a crow pose. I wouldn't consider that an all-levels pose. Again, it could just be because I was the only new person in a small class. Overall, as a new student without a ton of experience, I felt kind of uncomfortable and out of place. If you're experienced enough to follow along with prompting, this is a beautiful and serene studio. But if you're newer to yoga, you might try somewhere that's a little more beginner-centric.

Yelp
I have found my yoga studio. I've been shopping around lately, as it's time for me to get back to my practice. I was advised to stop practicing hot yoga when I found out I was pregnant. After the baby came, it was just hard to find time to resume my yoga, especially when we have no family here to help out. But 2019, I told myself, I needed to practice again. My body and mental state was just craving it. So I shopped around and was looking for a mixed variety of classes and something in resemblance to Core Power (that was my yoga spot). Reyn studio has multiple classes, the studio is spacious and bright, and most importantly, it doesn't smell! A lot of hot yoga places smell, and it's pleasantly surprising when you find one that doesn't! The studio is two tiered and has one shower upstairs. It's very modern and chic. I love how they offer different classes throughout the day, as this helps with my schedule. The instructors are awesome, they put a lot of thought into their classes, and the flows are always interesting and challenging. For those who are a Core Power junkie, Reyn also offers similar classes like C1/C2/C3, but renamed to R1/R2/R3 to cater to all levels. I admit I was upset when I moved here and saw no Core Power, but Reyn is a more upscale notch from there. They also give you scented wet towels at the end of the class!

Yelp
I have been doing yoga on and off for 11 years. This facility is one of the most impressive. I have been to yoga places from ct, ny and Baton Rouge. I liked the facilities here the best. Everything seems brand new and clean. Their ventilation system is also impressive. Today we did r1 and found pace fitting. Perfect way to start our Saturday. Love the eucalyptus towel they give to the yogis during final vinyasa. The space is amazing. It's within a large room on the 2nd floor of the building, with generous natural light flowing thru. This is my first place in nola that I have done yoga but I will return to try their other classes.

Tim P.

Yelp
Visiting from Dallas and fell in love with this studio. Heidi is an experienced yoga instructor and the facility is a perfect setting your yoga practice. Mat and towel is provided. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Warning, not a very yogi thing to say: I tend to expect a lot out of my yoga studio/community. Not that I have to justify my expectations, but I come here upwards 6 days a week and time is the most valuable commodity. I don't like to waste it. I only want to go to places I like. I've been very fortunate to have access to great yoga communities in Nashville and DC. I prefer vinyasa style yoga. I have tried 4 other studious in the Uptown area and FTB tops them all. The studio is walking distance from home, which is always a plus. The studio itself is very nice - clean, welcoming, friendly staff. Now for the meat of the review - the practice. As with any style of yoga, you get back what you put in. But, it is nice to have the space to do as little or as much you need. FTB offers that space for me from working out so hard I feel like I'm going to die or to slowing things down and being kind to myself. All practice levels allowed and welcomed. I hope to continue my power yoga fun here!

Yelp
Full disclosure upfront: Janae is my BFF. Luckily, my best bud also happens to be one of the most talented yoga instructors I've ever practiced with. She's also managed to create an incredibly inclusive environment at F2B., which is why Free To Be is my community, even more than my yoga studio. It's like cheers, everybody knows your name! Not yet? It won't be long, because as soon as class starts, Janae has you turn to someone you don't know, introduce yourself, and *BOOM* you now have a new friend. The room heats between 90-95, so expect to sweat a lot. Classes are challenging, although all levels can take any class. Listen to your body, and take it at the pace you're most comfortable. The teachers are there to guide and push each student, but I've spent many poses tucked into child's pose, thank you very much! Best part is sometimes when I'm taking that break, the instructor comes over and rubs my back or feet. AMAZING. Classes are light-hearted and fun. There's no shame in falling out of a pose, and students are celebrated for accomplishing challenging poses (like standing up from wheel - it's a total zombie move, and weirds me out, but I hear it's pretty hard!). Also, it's just plain beautiful inside and out. Janae and Kelly put so much thought into every detail, which this gorgeous space reflects so well. Do yourself a favor: grab your mat (or rent one here), take a class, and marvel at how your perspective can change in 60 short minutes. Namaste

Yelp
I was super excited to try Free To Be as I am in New Orleans visiting family pretty frequently. I wish the class description would have been more descriptive in the type of yoga the 75 minute was- because I couldn't really say whether it was vinyasa or ashtanga. Overall I think the class didn't have a very mindful sequence at all- there was no music and it didn't feel like it was well thought out. It seems there are other classes here that would suit me better as I really enjoy a flow with music. I'll probably give it another try but for around 20 for a drop in I'm a little bummed it wasn't a great experience.
google avatar

Steven O.

Yelp
Tried it out on a business trip. Nice looking and clean open space. They rented full mat, which was helpful (and generally rare for studios to do). Solid, energetic flow class with a cool towel at the end. I would recommend.

Lauren P.

Yelp
I have never really been that much in to yoga, but after starting at Reyn Studios I have really been enjoying it. The studio is beautiful with so much natural light, exposed wood/brick, and plants it really makes you feel calm and relaxed. They have tons of classes so you can find one pretty easily to fit your schedule before work, at lunch time, evening and Saturday and Sunday classes. None of the classes have been extremely busy, it's easy to find a spot. So far the teachers have all been great, and my muscles have been really feeling like they are working hard. At the end of class you get a eucalyptus cold towel on your face and it's one of the most relaxing things I can think of. For first time members you can do unlimited for $50 and I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Yelp
A really lovely local studio with kind and talented instructors. Awesome trial period as well.

Yelp
I did a great yoga class this morning and it is a wonderful location and the ambiance cannot be beat. it was one of the best yoga classes I've ever attended and I travel a lot and go to a lot of yoga classes. I highly recommend this place

Yelp
I was visiting from Miami on business and needed a break from the unhealthy lifestyle that catches most visitors to the Big Easy. After finding Reyn on Yelp I figured I'd give it a shot and was impressed as soon as I walked in. The studio has a warm and minimalist feel to it, even though apparently its very new. My class was great, towels were provided, and the teacher was awesome. Definitely recommend for locals and visitors alike. Check the website for the schedule which was super easy to navigate. Reyn said that Miami was on her short list of locations for new studios- I sure hope that's true :)

Yelp
Wow. What an amazing workout. I have played every sport known to man and run and swam and lifted until I was a soaking wet, sweaty mess. Growing up, I would dread listening to my coaches scream at me to push it harder, run faster, squat deeper. But here, I enjoy becoming a soaking wet, sweaty mess. When they tell me to push harder (granted in a much nicer voice than some of the coaches I have had in the past) I try to really do it. Free to Be is a cool spot on the 4600 block of Magazine. The room is about 90 degrees (hence the sweaty mess), the instructors from what I can tell are all genuinely nice people who are dedicated to their craft. It is a Baptiste Yoga facility, which means it's a really vigorous type of yoga practice that still incorporates the core tenants of yoga that you are probably used to. I've only been doing it for a really, really short amount of time and I am pretty sure I am the worst person in the room at every class, but again, unlike other super hard workouts I have encountered in my 32 years on this planet, no one in the room makes me feel like an idiot when I can't do a pose or I actually fall over. Once I am done falling over and the lights go down they give us a nice cold, damp lavender towel. It's like a cold slice of towel heaven. They offer a variety of classes...Foundations, which teaches you the fundamentals of Baptiste yoga. This class is filled with beginners and experts alike. Free to Be Jammin' which I guess has a lot of music. Candlelight Yoga, Free to Be Powerful; there are really a lot of options. The website says it is for all levels, but I will warn you and say this is not for the faint at heart. The Community classes are $8 for a drop-in, while the regular classes are $16 for a drop in. There is a newbie two week special for $22. I recommend getting that. I have it and I am hooked. And sore. And maybe still a little sweaty. Or a lot sweaty.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm in town for about a week and wanted something different than the hotel gym. Reyn is just wonderful! I absolutely consider myself a beginner, and the instructors are friendly, helpful, and completely nonjudgemental, something I really appreciate. At the end of class, during shavasana, the instructors bring these wonderful cool towels, soaked in eucalyptus water. It's just lovely. Being from out of town, I do agree that the studio is warm, but there's no doubt I've gotten some good work in when I see the pool of sweat on my mat at the end of class. I consider the warmth an added bonus. I will definitely add Reyn to my list of "must do's" for any future trips to NOLA.
google avatar

Sarah F.

Yelp
Reyn was my home studio for the two years I lived in NOLA. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experiences here & the relationships I built all while working on my practice. The space is incredibly beautiful with lots of natural light and ambiance, but the teachers here are what make this studio great. They're all so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Not to mention they're wonderful, good souls who are willing to talk and get to know you before & after classes. Community, community, community. I ended up meeting future roommates and life-long friends here. Jenn, Heidi, Cheryl, Shannon, Lindsey, Chelsea, and Reyn taught me more than I ever thought possible. Every time I go back now, I meet a new instructor that I love too. Yoga wise, I was ALWAYS shown & encouraged to do the right poses for me & my body (which had several injuries at the time). I did a monthly membership for those two years. I grew so much during my time at Reyn. Physically, emotionally, everything. I've lived in ATL for almost two years now and I have yet to find a studio that feels as "home" to me as Reyn does. Yeah, classes are quite warm, but you get used to it. Just be sure to bring plenty of water and take breaks when you need to. I was definitely NOT in shape when I started taking classes, and I was always totally fine with the warmth. Plus, you get a cold eucalyptus towel and maybe a li'l massage at the end of class! All told, this is my heart's home studio. I love it (and the people in it) more than most places on Earth. Do yourself a favor!

Yelp
What a gorgeous studio! Such wonderful instructors as well. Really great ambiance and a perfect location.

Yelp
A delightful place to practice where everyone is encouraged to be themselves on their mat. You really cannot ask for more from a yoga studio (except maybe changing rooms). ;-)
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Nice studio (beautiful, roomy space), but the class wasn't quite what I was looking for. It was a community class, so I expected flow, but the instructor was more concerned with tricks than technique. I would definitely try this studio again on my next visit to New Orleans, but will look for a different instructor and read the class descriptions more carefully.

Yelp
I adore this yoga studio! The people, the ambiance, the class options, everything about Reyn Studios is awesome. There's an abundance of classes to choose from with a little something for everyone! My favorite classes are the Restorative, R1 (beginners), and the morning Power Hour! I absolutely love the two separate stages for the different classes. They have a backstage room for the smaller, slower, more intimate classes, and a large heated room for the other classes. There's conveniences such as renting yoga mats, towels, and a shower room with towels and soaps if you forget your own. Best of all, first time students can try the studio out for 30 days, unlimited usage, for only $30! They also offer a discount for students and low drop in rates if you don't want to get a monthly membership! I highly recommend this studio!
google avatar

Cheng Z.

Yelp
Gorgeous studio. Excellent teaching and service! They put eucalyptus scented cold towel on my face at the end of the practice.

TiffanyJo P.

Yelp
What a gorgeous yoga studio! I tried this place out Sunday morning with a friend, and while I'll say I wasn't thrilled with the $20 drop-in rate, the atmosphere of the studio was certainly worth the money. I loved that it was only slightly heated and that the room didn't feel crowded. Great space, great yoga.
google avatar

Hal S.

Yelp
I love this studio! I've never sweated this much in a yoga class before. The Free To Be Flow class with music is my favorite, but I find that a class without music is sometimes what I need. I try to never miss Julia's class on Sundays or Emily's class on Wednesday's. I also don't think their monthly membership is too outrageous, which I have found with a lot of other yoga studios. Give them a try if you're looking for a new yoga home.
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
I practiced here a few times when I was in town. They have $7 community classes everyday at 4 PM which is pretty awesome! The first time you go mat rental is free, after that it is $1. They have free small hand towels which you will definitely want to grab - the classes are WARM - maybe 80-85 degrees. With the sun coming in the windows it gets even warmer (I don't want to imagine what it's like in the summer). You will definitely drip sweat everywhere. The good news is the classes I attended were slow paced enough that you don't really feel like you're dying. I liked the classes I attended, they were a good pace, with lots of options for advanced poses if you wanted to take them. They have a shower here if you are headed out after class!

Yelp
Free To Be has been a sanctuary for me. After years of on and off yoga practice, I found a community that speaks to me. Loving and Nourishing...this starts with the Owners and carries through into every class. Great workout..thank you eve

Yelp
Warning: While this may not technically be Bikram / hot yoga, it is VERY WARM yoga. I had reviewed the class descriptions and pricing online before, and decided that the R1 class was for me (I'm not a yoga novice, but I dont consider myself highly skilled). I did not see any mention of the classes being heated so when I arrived at the studio I was shocked and intimidated by the temperature. I know my body's limits and know that it does not tolerate heat well. I asked the ladies at the desk a few questions about the temperature. The first one told me it was just warm because of the sun coming in through the windows. The second time I asked I was told that yes, all classes in the big studio were heated, but they have classes in the back studio that are not. I decided to give the class a try anyway, knowing I would have to take frequent breaks due to the heat. The studio space truly is beautiful. The class itself seems top notch, although maybe not a good match for me. It gets into challenging poses fairly quickly and moves through them at a faster pace than I expected based on the description. I would not call this class beginner friendly. Reyn Studios offers over 14 different classes on their website, but they dont seem to have anything to suit my needs (cooler temperatures and more relaxing). I did email them today to inquire about the classes offered in the non-heated studio and would be willing to give it another try.

Alyssa C.

Yelp
I spontaneously stopped by here for a yoga class on my trip to New Orleans, and I loved it. The studio was beautiful! The class was difficult and parts felt more like a workout than a traditional yoga practice, but it was still nice. Their shop is nice as well.

Yelp
I cannot speak highly enough of Reyn Studios. I have practiced yoga for over 15 years and never have I felt more comfortable in a yoga space in my life. Each teacher is extremely well versed and very hands-on. I love Lindsey's dharma talks. Heidi is hilarious and offers a subtly transformative class. Jenn is highly athletic and I really enjoy her classes. Both Catherines' are so beautiful to watch it's incredibly inspiring. Reyn's classes are so masterful it's really fun and energetic to partake in them. I visit the studio several times a week for the array of different classes, skilled instructors, amazing music mixes, really great vibe and overall kindness and attention to detail. Highly highly highly recommend!!!!!

Yelp
Really glad I stumbled across this studio during my trip in New Orleans! The alcohol and po' boys were catching up to me and I needed to sweat some of it out! I bought the 3 day weekender pass but was only able to go two days. The first class I had was taught by Olivia B, and it was an Align & Flow. I ended up being the only student in class so I got an amazing one on one experience! Olivia was so caring, sweet, and definitely took advantage of the fact that I have a steady practice. (I was so sore the next day!) The second class was ok. I appreciated that it was a "harder" class and I liked being able to sweat more. What I didn't like is that the instructor was having a rough day (which she called herself out on) and she really let that show during her teaching. It was like she was monotonously reciting the asanas, and halfway through I was just ready to be done. I get that we all have bad days but it was a little off putting to be honest. :( Other than that, the studio is absolutely stunning and I had a great experience. I'll be back!

Yelp
Was able to purchase a spot for class through Yelp, which made this whole process very easy. I was in NOLA for a work conference and wanted to get in a yoga session in a different city. This studio is BEAUTIFUL. Open, large space with high ceilings, it just makes you feel good being in that room. Since it was my first class, I was able to rent a mat for free, towels were also provided. Class was set at a good pace and the lovely eucalyptus cold towel at the end was such a great touch for a nice cool down. Really happy I was able to experience this studio on my visit.

Yelp
I am in New Orleans for five days. I took two classes at Reyn Studios. Loved the classes. I took at Foundations class and the next day I took a Community class. Both were fabulous. Clean spacious space with exposed brick and large high windows, located in a cool neighborhood on Magazine Street. The people were very welcoming from the minute I entered the studio. Drop in classes were $16 with additional options to add a yoga mat ($2) and Mat towel ($2). Showers available. Teachers were wonderful. Both classes made me sweat in the warm studio. I will go back for a third time tomorrow morning before my flight home. I highly recommend this studio!

Yelp
Love coming to Reyn's Studio for my hot yoga fix! Reyn's studio is divided into two floors. The first floor is where you check in and can purchase merchandise. The studios is located on the second floor. The yoga rooms are beautifully designed and always gets me in a zen mood quickly. You would think that a hot yoga studio would smell like sweat, but this place doesn't! It always smells like eucalyptus and lavender. The instructors are friendly and I appreciate it when they realign my pose. My favorite part is when they place cold eucalyptus towers on my eyes at the end of practice. Overall, I always have a great experience and feel relaxed at Reyn's Studio.

Yelp
Easily one of the best yoga studios in New Orleans. The space is beautiful, clean and easily accessible. I took my first class there with Reyn and found her to be super-friendly and very knowledgeable. I bought a package after just one class (which says a lot because I teach at a different studio). Prices are the standard NOLA average, although there are some discounts and incentives available. I would highly recommend this place to people who are looking for a less traditional yoga experience. If you like chanting and restorative classes, this isn't the best fit for you. Also know that the room is warm. Bring a towel, trust me.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this studio!! I was visiting New Orleans this past week on a work trip and decided to scope out local yoga studios ahead of time. I stumbled upon Reyn Studio and it looked really cool so I signed up for one class on Sunday morning. From the second I walked in I LOVED IT! The staff was super friendly and the studio... OMG! So beautiful with the lights hanging from the ceiling, and the brick walls and windows were gorgeous. I love hot yoga and I was not disappointed. I intended on only going to one class during my trip but ended up signing up for two additional morning classes because it was THAT good. Highly recommend checking this place out! I had three different teachers and loved them all. Thanks for a great time... I will be back!

Yelp
Wow. What a fantastic place! The only reason it took me so long to go is because the CBD is a little bit out of the way for me but it is totally worth the trip. The physical space is stunning, but also really clean and well organized. I had Shannon as an instructor and she was great - very welcoming, positive and focused both on the big picture of the class as well as as individual adjustments. Couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to coming back myself as well as sending some of my pilates students who are looking to complement their practice. I haven't been on Yelp in ages but I wanted to recommend this place to others because it's awesome!

Yelp
Great place...there is a reason it has all five star reviews! I probably go to three classes a week here now. The space is clean and pretty, the instructors are excellent, schedule is great, and the place is well run. Signing up online and rolling in to class is a breeze. I was apprehensive about heat (its not quite bikram), but it makes it much better. Your muscles loosen up and a little sweat (or a ton...like a ridiculous level in my case) is good for you. This is my favorite yoga anywhere. I struggled for three years to enjoy yoga at all and I absolutely love it here. Do yourself a favor.

Yelp
This is power yoga, people, so that means fast, fast, fast. Try to keep up with the breathing cues or it's all over for you. You'll get a serious workout, with a truly rewarding cool down (hello, ice cold towel on my forehead during savasana!), but no adjustments or specific details about how to get into poses or flow from one to the next. With a modern, open, loft-like setup, the studio space could probably hold over 50 people. I went to three classes during a long weekend vacation and each class had around 10-15 people. So, no need to panic and sign up ahead of time. I loved how clean the space felt, how stocked the bathroom was, and that they sold my favorite coconut water. The front desk girls (doubling as the instructors) were sweet and friendly. I tried not to judge when I saw someone walking around on the studio floor in her sneakers, but there were no signs about taking off your shoes or anything like that. Again, this is power yoga, not your touchy-feely, hippie-dippy, at-one-with-nature type of yoga. If you're looking for a sweaty, fast-paced workout, with a simple, straightforward flow, Reyn's got it going on.

Yelp
Had the good fortune of attending a restorative and an early am flow class here. Both exceptional on all fronts: teachers/guides, sequences, tunes, settings and experience. Such a find and in keeping with the wonderFULL ways of New Orleans this studio is another treasure in this rich, stimulating, beautiful city! P.s. If you are lucky enough to take a class when the bakery in the building is open....go ahead and treat yourself. Namaste

Yelp
If you're a power vinyasa person, you'll love this studio. It's hot, and the classes seem to follow the Baptiste series. The space is beautiful, the location is great, and the flow was a good challenge.

Yelp
My friend convinced me to go with her as we thought the first time was free, but it wasn't. I settled for the intro special $40 for uNlimited access for 4 weeks. I though this was better then the steep $25 drop in price, if I go even 2xs I'll feel like I got a deal. So far I've gone to 3 classes with 3 different I instructors, the free to be flow and devotional flow all with mUsic. I've enjoyed all the sessions, but couldn't really tell the difference between them, they were all unique and challenging in thier own way. I'm not a beginner nor an expert, and I thought these classes were a nice fit. I would probably recommend the pre-pay packages because the classes end up around $15 vs the unlimited at $150/mo (I mean who has time to go 3x's per week?) The studio is clean, staff fairly friendly, and they put a cold wet towel on your head at the end (my fav part). They also offer a community session for $12.. the best deal in my opinion!

Yelp
Beautiful studio, impeccably clean with perfectly merchandised boutique... you kinda feel like you're in LA... lovely on all fronts with original hardwoods and a wall of open windows lined with succulents and green stemmed fronds. Took an R2 class since the R3's weren't available and are few and far between on the schedule. Not sure if it was heated but I barely broke a sweat. It might have been the least interesting and creative flow I've taken in years. The instructor had zero energy, monotone voice and a "why did I agree to sub on a Sunday" attitude. She sipped her coffee while she appeared to be still waking up. Overall a disconnected flow and even more disconnected teacher. Pretty bummed.
