Freebirds World Burrito

Teese is warm and welcoming! My family and I tried this place for the first time about a month ago, and we absolutely loved it. The food was excellent, but what really brought us back was the overall experience, great food and outstanding customer service. Both go hand in hand here, and Teese delivers on both. Highly recommend!

I always love coming to This location. The food is fresh. The staff is top tier. Mary is also amazing! She’s here literally every time I come here. She’s hard working, very sweet! I have nothing but the upmost respect for her! Shes the best

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this store. I placed a prepaid order, which was made incorrectly. I followed the store’s instructions, sent photos as proof, and respectfully requested a fix. However, I was still given a smaller order than what I paid for. When I called to address the issue, the manager accused me of trying to “pull something off” and then hung up on me. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever received, and I will never be returning here again. Such unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, and I hope others don’t have to go through the same frustrating experience.

The food is stellar. The staff is so friendly with my daughters. Really enjoy coming here and will continue to do so!

Far and away the best option in the area; I work nearby and come here multiple times a week. The service is unparalleled- friendly faces ask you about your day while they put together delicious, mightily-packed burritos. Shout out to Mary who literally makes my day every time I see her behind the line.

Store was clean but lacked the characteristic decor I usually associate with other Freebirds locations in the Dallas area. My burrito was tasty, and the staff was very friends. Portions were appropriate for be price. I seem to remember that queso on the burrito used to be free, but I guess no longer - oh well, that and the chips were disappointing anyway; the queso mildly reminded me velveta - not what I would have hoped when visiting Houston. Overall, would come back but wouldn’t recommend the chips and queso.

We came by for National burrito day and had a great experience. Short wait even with a good crowd. Restaurant was super clean. Food was delicious. We had burritos, a bowl and chips and Queso. Brisket special was delicious. Crew was helpful and great. I came right after opening a few months ago and would've scored lower, but looks like they've worked out the kinks and are rolling. I wish there was one closer to my house cuz this is so much better than Chipotle. Keep up the great work, guys.

When this place fails... and yes it will fail...we can probably point to the manger or lack there of. When you go at 8:05 pm (they close at 8:30pm) and they run out of beef- they say they don't have anymore because they close soon. The employees have no idea that closing at 8:30 means they shut down then, not at 8:05 and leave work at 8:30. No apologies either. How dare we come 30 minutes before they close!...which is 8:30 by the way- not at 9:30 like the internet says. I even called ahead to find the closing time because we showed up 15 to closing last time and all the food was put away. Comical. Put this one in the ground, it's done.

I was new here, trash customer service I obviously had no idea how to order anything and they just had an attitude

Came the second day it opened! First impression is that it is too loud in here!! There were a bunch of people but the acoustics in here need to be addressed. The staff were super friendly and the food was awesome as usual for Freebirds. They have great space out the back for outdoor seating and a green space for kids to play. Other dessert spots close by too. I'll be a frequent customer here for sure!

I've been consistently ordering from here for over a year at least once a week. Recently, the portion sizes have been getting smaller and smaller. This time was the final straw. Never again. I know this review won't make much of a difference but hopefully I can save someone else's $15. Go to Rays Mexican on S. Mason. Much better and good portion sizes. Plus the people are a lot nicer. To the Freebirds auto reply, I've already contacted y'all on your website and left feedback.

It's a custom made burrito. If you don't like it try different ingredients. Way better than that chain burrito.

Ordered some quick takeout through grubhub on a busy day and they forgot the steak in my order. So I effectively paid almost $20 for a pathetic rice burrito. And when I called to remedy the situation they said they couldn't do anything since I ordered through grubhub....terrible customer service. So now I'm out almost 40 bucks in total with no recourse. Garbage experience. Go elsewhere and avoid freebirds meh food and trash service and don't use grubhub...it's a crappy service with grossly inflated fees.

Great food and an amazing staff . We love the patio at this location . Kids even eat free on Sundays

Disgusting. Cold food. Never refunded us 40 dollars for an absolutely inedible meal. The staff was too incompetent to process it. Totally gross. This place will definitely shut down. All I can say is go elsewhere.

Overpriced and will over fill your burrito with the cheep ingredients and almost none of the proteins, etc. this place should be shut down.

I am soooo happy that freebirds has finally opened up a place in cinco ranch. Came here a few months after opening and had a very pleasant experience. Hubby and I came here on a Saturday morning and the staff was so friendly, everyone greeted us as soon as we stepped into the place. I got a vegetarian burrito bowl and my hubby got the monster burrito. I love that they have refried beans (unlike chipotle) and their vegan chorizo is much better.. and less soggy. I love that they have so many options to customize your meal and their chips are soooo good and miraculously not oily like most other places..ahem chipotle. The amount of food you get here for the price is definitely worth it, especially in the shrinkflation world we are presently living in. The customer service was also great, the girls working were so friendly and nice. Honestly this is the best Mexican food I've found in Katy so far, better than most restaurants, food, customer service and quality wise. Highly highly recommend if you're looking for a good, tiny burrito/bowl/etc fix.

Food was ok service was bad, young girl there needs to be retrained on how to wrap a burrito half of my toppings fell out of it and when I said "I'll pay for an extra tortilla since all of the extra meat I asked for fell out" she just shrugged and told me "it's fine" and through away the extra meat. When I mentioned to the young man at the register luckily he got off his phone for a minute to say "I think she got everything in there". Explains why nobody was at this location. Glad to see young people working but better training is needed.

I went there for a $8 burrito. When I checked out it was close to $16. I asked why and they said you had 3 extras. There is no sign anywhere labeling extra costs for certain ingredients nor do the workers who pushed them on me ever say it'd be an extra cost. They asked I said sure. Again, nothing on menu mentions which ingredients are extra nor is it anywhere within the store nor do the workers mention it after asking if you want it. One star for the deceptive hidden costs and at end of day the burrito is worse than the other 2 I frequent which does list extras and mention it when you get it.

I've eaten here before but yesterday I was served RAW chicken which is completely unsafe and unacceptable. Most upsetting is that my toddler had a chicken meal as well. DO BETTER.

Got a brisket burrito. Zero flavor. Bland Bland Bland. Sorry. Wish it was better.

Food is great, unfortunately a woman named Sydney took my order and was incredibly rude. She practically yelled at me for what I wanted and then proceeded to talk to her coworkers about how she "wished she locked the door" so that people would stop coming in. This woman just single handedly ruined this experience for me. Never met someone so unhappy in their job and disrespectful to customers. I don't know who took a pee in her cereal this morning but customers certainly suffered because of it.

The service and food was GREAT! I ordered on my mobile and my food was ready & warm when I picked it up. the staff was very helpful and nice! Glad to finally have a Freebirds close to my home!

Customer service good, great location. Quesadillas are pretty good. Now the burritos are a different story. It you like rice "I mean lots of rice" you will like these burritos. They are nothing but rice with a sliver of your add-ons wrapped in a tortilla. Feed 3 people for $56 plus a tip so kind of overpriced for what you get. Doubt I will go back but who knows.
