Freebirds World Burrito

Don't do this often but I worst burritos i ever had. Tortilla was cold almost raw, paid 35 for a burrito with extra meat, barely got any, rice and beans in everybite not much meat. Had a sweet and sour after taste. Will never again. Chipotle just won by a long shot. Horrible first experience

Was told by the manager the gift cards weren't working. No exception was made or effort to resolve besides paying out of pocket. When I called back to resolve it the gm said she would forward my info to IT and I might get some type of gift card back. Will not return unless resolved fairly.

Food is very good every time I go. I usually get the tacos and they let me get three for just a little extra. The employees are usually pretty nice and accommodating and give hefty scoops of toppings so I'm always left full and satisfied. Chipotle could never 😅

I never appreciated Chipotle until now. I got the birria bowl with almost all the toppings. Everything tasted off. Some things tasted old and others completely different then what they were. Their food is obviously not fresh and most likely not rotated properly. Hopefully I don't get sick. 🤢🤢

The burrito was better than Chipotle’s burrito. I’m definitely going to be a regular customer and will recommend my friends to try it!!

The young lady the helped us was either new or didn't care. She kept having us repeat ourselves because she wasn't paying attention. She had the face that she hated it there and she also did a horrid job on the burrito, I also hardly got any pork in it, literally gave me the last of the scrapings. It Completely fell apart because it wasn't wrapped correctly when I tried eating it. Her customer service is just no. The taller lady at the register was super nice and amazing and for her I'll give 3 stars.

The food was delicious!! My server was great, and friendly, and nice, and even helped me with deciding what I wanted. The female who served my husband must have been over it. I will give her that it was the end of the day but there was an hr left before they stopped serving. It made my experience very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I feel she could benefit from some better training.

The food was good. I hadn't been here in well over a decade so I couldn't remember if I liked it or not. The service was great. They helped me order because i was a bit lost. Overall great lunch date.

dont go by the time the app tells you itll be ready, the staff will somehow add at least 20 minutes

I came in at the 12 o'clock lunch hour and to my surprise there was only one other customer in the restaurant. I ordered the burrito bowl with chicken, Spanish rice, pinto beans, queso, shredded cheese, lettuce, corn & creamy-jalapeño sauce. Sooo yummy. As far as ambiance, most tables were clean, the music isn't too loud and there's lots of warm, natural light.

Holy beans and rice! It was FREEZING in there today!!!! I had no choice but to take off a star because of how cold it was. They definitely aren't making it a comfortable place to visit. Please remember, Freebirds, your entire decor is mainly concrete. It's going to be as cold inside as it is outside. I definitely used all y'all's napkins wiping my nose! With that being said... the service was EXCEPTIONAL. No other way to put it. The food was just as good! A+

The food is always on point here! The customer service is great tooo! Freebirds offers reward points so if you are able sign up with your phone number! After so many bowls or burritos you get one free it's nice!

Wonderful staff, they fully loaded your burritos. There was a line, but it moves very quickly ample space.

First time ordering a monster burrito was great food person at the counter helped me out with my order. Was filling and recommend to everyone.

Customer Service: 5/5. I've visited this location several times and the staff is always kind and friendly. Today, a placed 3 large family orders on short notice, but they were accommodating and made it happen. I should have placed an advanced, online order, but I greatly appreciated their accommodations. Not only that, but they brought the order out to my car without me even asking. That's amazing. Food: 5/5 Freebirds chicken is superb compared similar restaurants. I eat big, so their monster burrito is my go-to. They also have fountain drink that I haven't seen at any other restaurant.. Minute Maid Lime! Ambience: Restaurant is always clean and there are no issues finding seating during lunch. I highly recommend Freebirds in 151.

Got the giant or monster burrito, and let me give you my background. I've eaten a lot of burritos. I don't have proof, you'll just have to take my word for it. This burrito that I just consumed....was a hell of a burrito. If I hand more two hands it would have been 1) easier to eat and 2) more than two thumbs up (which is the most amount of thumbs I have to offer).

This place is so ass for real Please do not waste ya money on this goofy place. I decided to try freebirds after i heard it's better than chipotle. They had no ice , no straws... Chips are straight out of a bag not even freshly made.... The guacamole has no flavor ..... Two bowls and a side of chips and guacamole was $40 ..... Never eating here again . DO NOT RECOMMEND

The service is really great here!! Staff is really nice and greets with a smile, makes me feel very comfortable and have an enjoyable experience!! The collection of foil figures is also really cute as well as the motorcycle on the roof is a good surprise to come into!! Would definitely come here again when I have the time!!

Tasty food and great prices. Tried their low carb tortilla with chicken, black beans, & Cilantro rice and it was really good. Employees were patient and friendly while I made my selections. Definitely going back again.

Just ok. Moe's is better. Chipotle is better. No flavor and kinda expensive for what you get.

Hands down best place ever. They always great you well. The food is excellent I mean I can't complaint. I get all my gains without having to worry about what's in it. The atmosphere is relax, although during lunch it gets packed but that's ok it is lunch after all.

Not happy with the service here. Placed an order online and was eligible for free chips and queso. 40 minutes later I arrive and can't find the curbside parking. Apparently there's only one curbside sign for one slot. Anyways, I decided I'll go ahead and park near the door and call. No one picks up and voicemail is full. Since they don't respond calls, I have to get off. There's three other customers waiting for their pickups. We're there standing for about 10 minutes until finally orders are coming out (Place isn't even busy!). I then ask about my free chips and employees have no idea what I'm talking about even through I explained to them I get free chips with the rewards program. Employee tells me I have to get in line again to get my chips. Food is good but there's a reason why Chipotle is so much busier and popular than Freebirds. Will not be ordering online from them. Waiting in line is much faster than waiting on your to go order!

Can't beat the food to price ratio. Huge burritos for 10 bucks. Not only is the price good, but the burritos are sooooo good. Better than chipotle and most of the other burrito joints around!

Terrible quality, I threw up everything I ate, flies were flying everywhere right when you came in. Disturbing and disgusting

This place used to be so delicious! I don't know what happened in the last 6 months. But if I could rate today's food: 1 Star is to much. The meat and some Ingredients changed and some are not even available anymore. I won't be back , we tried a few times in last months and it just been bad now.

$15.80 for a burrito bowl with brisket and queso, they had no cauliflower rice, and can't have beans for my diet. This is the saddest bowl I've seen, I guess it's back to chipotle.

I love Freebirds but this particular location was terrible. The store was messy and tables weren't bussed. When I ordered my food, the server was making sure to give me the smallest scoops possible. It was like he was counting each bean and piece of chicken. When I asked why he was being so parsimonious, he goofily laughed and explained been instructed to do so by management. I left mid-order. If the franchise is too cheap to give us proper portions, they're too poor for my business. Really negative experience. Go to a different location.

Before today, this is probably a 4 star experience for me. Service is great and the attitude of the staff are awesome welcoming... Decided to grab a couple of burrito bowls to go for dinner tonight. Half way through my meal, something sharp and hard stabbed me in my between my gums. I pulled out a half inch piece of metal wire!! What da heck is a piece of metal doing in my burrito bowl!?!? Unacceptable!

Ordered for lunch one day and swung by on my lunch break. It was ready to go and on the table, in and out. I was told it's better than chipotle so I had to try. I do like both places, but free birds does has a lot of the spicier options that I love. Thier sauces are so good!

This place is amazing, every time I come here I get the best service from the second I walk in. Food is always cooked fresh and served with good energy. The manager's Maria was super nice and made sure I had what I needed. Highly recommend

Excellent lunch option. Quick, well flavored, and easily customizable with many options. It's more SUBWAY than Chipotle while obviously being a burrito place. Lots of add-in options to make your burrito or bowl exactly what you want. I ordered a bowl, carnitas, cilantro-Lime rice, black beans, salsa, pico, cheese, corn, and a bunch of other stuff. All of that and a drink was right under $11. Not exactly and cheap option, but really filling with whole ingredients. Would definitely eat here again.

Curbside ordering is horrible. Cant order fountain drinks through app. Ordered my meal, showed up and called to have order brought out. They couldn't find my order and was told to wait ten minutes while order was made.

So tried this because it's something new.. but I would still rather Chipotle, even with their simple menu. Had some sort of spicy chicken burrito. Not bad. The tortilla didn't taste fresh. Rice wasn't bland and under cooked. And the tortilla chips ugh no compare to chipotle! I like the idea of this place but flavors and freshness needs work

We love Freebirds in general because of the food and during COVID it has just grown our love for them. It's always so clean and all of the tables are spaced out accordingly. The workers are always so nice and helpful.

This place is awesome, came on a Friday night and let me tell you the staff is awesome helping me choose from all the toppings to just being courteous, the burritos are accented well by the staffs friendliness.

I noticed this establishment hasn't had a review in awhile which is surprising since it was packed when I visited. This location has been there for many years and personally I have never had a bad experience here. The outside was clean when I visited and the door was propped open to let cool air in. The line wasn't to long and about half of the tables were full. The food bar was clean and organized, the ingredients looked and tasted fresh! The staff was friendly as well. Definitely visiting this location again! You honestly can't go wrong with their menu, everything is delicious!

The freebirds in San Antonio on 151 is AWFUL. Ordered at approx 6:10. No ice, one drink machine broken, no napkins, no forks. And no one to check you out. TERRIBLY run. Especially at prime dinner hour. The one near my house on the Northside on 281 is sooo much better!! When here for a quick lunch and really got great service. The food was fresh and they walked you through all the choices that they had to offer. I'm a huge fan of the inside decor the motorcycle hanging above your head with all the other signs around the store really making a fun fresh environment. I will definitely be back for more, this place is great and the staff is awesome!!

I don't understand. This location is either awesome or terrible depending on the shift and manager working when you get there. Today they had four people waiting in line and one (ONE!!) person working the line. Of course, the customers at the front of the line are those special half-wits who want to TRY a TASTE of everything before they can even attempt to place their order. Meanwhile, there are plenty of Freebirds staff -- including the manager -- wandering around the floor with nothing to do. Now, you might think the staff would notice the sudden hold-up in the line and at least one of them might offer to step over to take an order... NOPE! It's like time stands still while the tourists try a bite of chicken. We said "F this..." and left to get fed at Chipotle. This really needs to be fixed at Freebirds 151. That manager needs a kick in the pants. Two in the pink, one in the stink for this location. UPDATE 03/07/20: Really? Gave them a second chance. Ordered nachos with extra queso. Received nachos with NO queso. Gross. This location sux. Never again. God!

Everything about this location is badass! The staff are always friendly and the rewards program comes in handy! Do yourself a favor and drive past chipotle and come to freebirds!

Very good experience, customer service was extra friendly. Food was nice and fresh with large portions. I got the brisket freebird for the first time and wow I was blown away. Good quality brisket with a Smokey flavor. Highly recommend this location!

It was my first time eating here and jasmine was spot on; how delicious there food is, the flavor, the exceeding amount of options for us! Definitely beats chipotle ! This place puts chipotle to shame. Way better lettuce, they have a mini burrito called the hybrid; which is amazing. Their guacamole is better, their rice options are two and both are better. Their prices are better. Super fresh ingredients, super fast, friendly service.
