"An alternative name for this bakery could be Delices de US1, but it may not be as enticing. Apart from its popular breads, Delice's sweet croissants, apple tarts, quiches, and pastries all add a much-needed French flair to the Kendall neighborhood." - Amber Love Bond

Google
I recently visited French Bakery and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious, we tried the croissants, meringue, and ice cream, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. They also have a small but well chosen selection of wines. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for excellent food and warm, professional service.

This place is a childhood staple. My father loved this place and we'd go once a week for a loaf of mountain bread and some desserts. My 12 bday cake was a rum cake from there, my moms choice not mine! The place has certainly been renovated and well kept. The bakery options are limited but delicious and the coffee was great I was glad to bring my son and husband to a place so dear to my heart.

The chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING. Not overly sweet either. We loveddddd the croissants and both their hot and iced coffee options. Cute cafe.

Google
Amazing cappuccino (when they add sugar and cinnamon). Croissant is good, but not an authentic French croissant. The outside was very soft (no crunchy flakes) and the inside is not as airy as it should be. Either way, it’s better than eating a Starbucks “butter croissant”. The place has a few tables and chairs to dine outside (under roof) though has no inside seating. Staff is welcoming. The reason I’m giving it four stars it’s because it’s not an authentic French bakery.

Google
Best French bakery in Miami ! They have all the usual french stuff like croissant, almond croissant, chocolate croissant. But they also have some real hard to find specialy like almond cake or sugar brioche. They also do shapr and crisp cakes and specialty cake for holidays. I was born and raised in France and I can say these taste and smell spot on! ...And.. they have great coffee and sandwich as well.. Love this place!

Google
I recently visited this bakery, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The aroma of fresh bread and pastries was irresistible, and everything I tried was exceptional. The almond croissant was perfectly flaky and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about their craft. Whether for a quick treat or something special, this bakery is a must-visit—I can’t wait to return!

Small, but the pastries and croissants have always been really great. Their pistachio eclair is excellent and I love their almond croissants. I’m hoping they add pistachio croissants soon!!!!

Have been going to the French Bakery for many years and never been disappointed. Their pastries are fantastic and to the tee with their flavors. The coffee and sandwiches are delicious. Each time I go it reminds me as if I was back in France!

Yelp
The cutest lil French bakery in Miami! Came here early morning Sunday to start the morning with some baked goods and there was already a line outside the door before 8am. Apparently this bakery has been here for years and is a local favorite. The line moved pretty fast and when we came inside, we were welcome by the clean environment. They have menus displayed on their TVs on either side, to the left, an array of sandwiches and what looked to be like lunch options available and to the right was their drink menu. The cases in the front were beautiful and made it hard to choose what baked goods we wanted. The left had dessert items which we had to get an eclair and fruit tart. To the right were their croissants, breads, meat pies, and more! We ended up getting some ham and cheese croissants, turkey and cheese croissants, almond croissants, and a spinach quiche. I also got a decaf mocha iced latte and it was the first latte I've been able to finish in over a year with my extreme caffeine intolerance. I know I got decaf but sometimes decaf still negatively affects me and this one was actually so good and didn't give me any bad effects. I'm excited for my next visit just for their decaf mocha alone because I miss coffee. When all our pastries were ready (we got to-go), we decided to eat some of it outside because there was seating available. There are only a few tables but glad we got to eat them there because the style of seating definitely reminded me of Paris and how close those tables were together in the intimate setting where you could chat with other patrons. The pastries were so good and although not quite the same as Paris, it was close enough. Such a great hidden gem for French baked goods!

Yelp
I was looking to have some good freshly baked croissants and someone recommended this place, what a great surprise. We got so excited we ended up having so many pastries and they were all absolutely delicious for a reasonable good price. Coffee was delicious too and staff super helpful with recommendations, it was so good I've been back twice in the past 2 weeks.

Jorge P.

Yelp
Authentic French pastries, the service is friendly and as fast as the crowds permit. Casual ambiance with outdoor sidewalk seating.

Cristina G.

Yelp
I highly recommend this french bakery. The almond and chocolate croissants are delicious. There's plenty of parking and good customer service. The Ambiance is good.

Marcia M.

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite places to have cafe Au lait and almond croissants. I'm so lucky to have this gem in my neighborhood. We often walk over with the dog and kids on bikes. It's definitely a favorite place amongst the locals. Highly recommend their pastries, paninis, coffee, pretty much everything.

Alicia S.

Yelp
Delices has undergone a complete renovation so now, not only are their pastries amazing but their restaurant is just as amazing too! Their chocolate almond croissant is absolutely delicious!!

Carlos C.

Yelp
I really liked the almond croissant. The interior almond paste was well integrated and balanced throughout the croissant unlike most places that use the almond paste as a filling just in the middle. The rest of the items felt just average. I felt the choco-passion fruit mousse was ruined with the sponge cake inside. It really doesn't contributes to it but it lessens it by making it dry and difficult to stick to 1 flavor or one combination which should be the chocolate and passion fruit. The chocolate mousse felt superior and has greater consistency, it's ingredients play along together and overall better executed. The eclair had good pasty cream custard filling but felt small and the chocolate on top felt syrupy instead of the old traditional chocolate fondant icing. The place is clean, with shelves fully stocked , appealing and seems to be run by real French people. They were nice and engaged with lots o customers that kept coming in and out non stop. I guess this spot is hot in Pinecrest.

Yelp
My daughter love to place and the people are great And food is awesome!!!' Would recommend this place to anyone

Christina O.

Yelp
Finally got around to trying this place! The tuna sandwich was fresh, moist, seasoned well, and perfectly toasted. The almond croissant was to die for . 30 seconds in the microwave and WOW flavor explosion

Salena L.

Yelp
cute little place near the falls, went inside during lunch to grab a sweet pastry and I ordered a guava croissant and the fruit tart. the guava croissant was yummy, flaky and had little sugar crystals on it. the fruit tart was good too, light and refreshing. I look forward to trying their eclairs and coffee next.

Yelp
Finally putting my love for Delices De France into words! Since moving down south, this French bakery has been a game-changer. The croissants are next-level, and their cafe au lait is an absolute delight. It's a popular spot, so a little patience is key, but the staff keeps things moving smoothly. Without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone craving the best of French pastries and coffee. Highly recommend the experience!

Nelson M.

Yelp
So we have been frequenting Delices De France for many, many years here in the Palmetto Bay area and I can honestly say that as far as French bakery's go this establishment is 300% legit. I have been to France off and on for business and pleasure and can honestly say that all the baked goods they make on site are as good or better those I have had in France. My personal favorites are the Almond or Almond / Chocolate croissants which are to die for folks. Really all of them are awesome and better than any croissants I have had anywhere, at least in my humble opinion. Warm them up a little and it goes to a whole other level. We have also purchased tarts, cakes and other items over the years that have been awesome as well. Either way if you have not tried their Almond croissants, you definitely need to plan a special trip, give it a shot and then you can decide. As I write this review I am thinking I am going to head on over as soon as I am done.... Anyway, service has always been good but I will warn you that on the weekends they are a total mad house and very busy. If you don't want to deal with the crowd, the weekdays may actually be better. They have always been very attentive with us and hey if you know a little French this is the perfect place to practice as almost everyone is fluent in French. As mentioned earlier, this is a legit French bakery. Plenty of parking as they are located in a mall with plenty available but you again on the weekends you may need to make a line and wait a bit to get your order taken. No worries though as believe me it should be well worth your wait. The actual location is not very big inside and they have a stand up / stool area available, but the best bet is to sit outside if you can get a table. So if you are looking to try some authentic French baked goods and a legit French bakery, feel free to check them out as I do not think you will be disappointed. Wishing you all a great pastry experience, Enjoy and Bon Appétit m'es amis!

Yelp
i would absolutely recommend this place my whole family lives this place although through the years the prices have gone up quite a bit this is a place for everyone with the best desserts crossiants pastries coffees and sandwiches my whole family would be more than happy to go

Yelp
This is legitimately French-owned bakery. Most French bakeries or cafes in Miami are not authentically French but walk into Delices and you'll hear the language from the women in the front ringing you up to the bakers and staff in the back. Ordered a "meat pie" straight out of the oven. This empanada's filling (ground beef, finely chopped onions) is not very different then the flavor you'll find at Latin places. Same soupy consistency and tomato base taste. The crust is freshly made and you can tell it's made from scratch. The apple tart was decent. Not the best I've had but not terrible. They were selling the famous Galette des Rois at $42 for Three Kings Day (Epiphany). Coffee was decent. Ordered a cafe au lait with an extra shot of espresso.

Anna M.

Yelp
I've always heard great this from this spot and my family has been coming here since I was little EXCEPT they've never shared the experience with me until now. The staff is so nice and everything looks delicious from the window. I kept it simple with a chocolate croissant and iced coffee and it was so yummy. Since it's a small bakery I wasn't expecting them to have almond milk but they do!

Tricia K.

Yelp
The pastries here are so good!! Got 4 dalmations & 4 mini almond croissants today!! Those almond croissants are yummy!!

Katherine P.

Yelp
Stopped in in the afternoon after seeing tons of reviews online my review is based on what I had. I got a creme brûlée, box of macarons, a chocolate mousse cake and a water bottle for around 30$. The macarons were pretty tasteless to me and not worth the price. The creme brûlée was alright and the chocolate mousse was good. The ladies serving were pleasant. Would visit again to try the croissants since that seems to be what is the best here. Place is located in a shopping center and has a few tables outside with a nice decor.

Yelp
This was a wonderful discovery. We rarely go places in this area but were around and yelp pointed us to it. We were looking for a coffeehouse and found a great French bakery that also serves excellent coffee. I had a key lime pie tart and Diana had a guava croissant. Both pastries were excellent. Accompanied them with very well brewed cappuccino and a cafe au lait. Of course we had to get a baguette, another great surprise. Only half of it got home. Talked to another customer there who said the morning lines for coffee go around the block. We will drive down to it as much as possible!!!

Annika H.

Yelp
The almond croissant is to die for! Don't let the long line discourage you, it moves super quick and is worth the wait. This is a Miami must have if you're in the area.

Veronica G.

Yelp
Excellent bakery. Absolutely amazing desserts and great coffee. If you want a quick breakfast or coffee break try it.

Krys P.

Yelp
Had I really not written a review for this place that has been around for so long? I can't quite remember when I first went to this place, definitely US 1 was a lot quieter then, lol. Recently we were in the plaza and noticed that since COVid, they have converted a few parking spots into a patio with tables and chairs, making it easier for people to enjoy their food right there. In the past, the only place to eat was along the window counter. The service here is simply to fill your order and send you on the way. It's not exactly rude, but don't expect a neighborly chit chat and sampling. Well, at least I haven't witnessed it here. Mostly we simply get our bread and get on our way. They have quite a few croissants, my favorites are the almond and the dalmatians: mini sized croissants with a thin glaze and some sesames on top. They have large loaves too but those are just meh.

Jessenia G.

Yelp
Place is ehhh. Nothing to rave about. The pastries were similar to those like any other place and coffee was extremely hot to drink or even hold.

Shana M.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. I've been coming here for over 10 years when the turkey and cheese croissant were $2.25. The food is always consistent. My favorite item is the tuna croissant. The staff is always patient. Even when the line is through the door (which it often is). This spot is a local favorite!

Nathaly V.

Yelp
One of the best bakeries in town! Always love coming here for some fresh croissants. They are always freshly made and they taste amazing! I recommend having the almond croissant and the guava and cheese danish. Will definitely come back soon :)

Martin C.

Yelp
A real gem in SE Miami! They serve up some of the most amazing bread, almond croissants, a wide assortment of pastries and some truly scrumptious sandwiches on fresh baked bread! The staff are very accommodating, and always add that personal touch to make you feel special as a customer. It's a quaint setting, with ample outdoor seating - great for people watching! There's always a line, so get there early to enjoy the eats they have to offer!

Ethan T.

Yelp
We had an excellent experience at this location recently. All of their bakery items are fresh and they all look tasty. You have the options for sandwiches, croissants, eclairs, tarts, breads, French breads, quiches, and many other tasty items. Also, they have a great variety of coffees and espressos.

Heather C.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING. Wish we had something like this in Jacksonville . There was a long line to get into the quaint cafe but it moved along pretty quickly. All the bread, desserts, sandwiches and quiche were freshly made and replenished with more fresh items as soon as they ran out. The sun dried tomato quiche was so moist and flavorful. The guava and cheese danish was to die for. My mocha latte was heavenly. The only thing that could have been better was the ham and cheese croissant; there was hardly any ham. All in all everyone enjoyed their food and there was nothing left behind. We will definitely be back!

Virginia S.

Yelp
Best Croissants en ALL of Miami hands down! The actual location is small , tiny I would say. It's basically take out. The coffee is exceptional. Everything is made with the best quality. The plain croissants are great but my favorite are the ham and cheese croissants and almond croissants. The texture of the raisin rolls are incredible. So delicious. You won't know what to choose because everything looks so tempting. The tarts are a work of art. I actually drive 25 minutes to get all of my favorite French pastries here.

Dana T.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite restaurants. From the pastries to the sandwiches to the drinks. All are delicious. We visit weekly!

Remy H.

Yelp
First, you have the nicest people taking care of you and food is always fresh and it taste like what you get in France. If you have a get together and you wanna impress, make sure you purchase the chocolate mousse passionfruit cake. It is well worth it.

Sergio F.

Yelp
Food is 5 stars. Service has got a lot better after the Covid restrictions that they had in place. Very small place to eat but the food makes up for it. The place is mostly pick up and eat. Not a sit down and dine.

Ally M.

Yelp
The best places to get croissants in my opinion. If you want to go, I suggest going early because the line tends to get pretty long. The Ham and Cheese croissants are the best things I've ever had. The employees are always super nice and tend to keep the line moving quickly. The coffees they serve are also very delicious.

Allison D.

Yelp
Oh my croissant!! Why have it take me so long to find this Gem! This little hole in the wall is mostly for take out, although they have a couple of tables outside. French bake goods at its best, desserts, eclairs, different types of bread, quiches and a coffee bar. Everything I ordered was delish.

Pedro T.

Yelp
This place has been open for a long time. I think they have new owners. There you will find Charline. A sweet lady that does everything she can to make sure you leave happy. Today I was late. They already closed. So I stood on the window untill they saw me. Charline let me in and sold me some deserts even gave me a free Baggett. That is what I call great service. I wish they will have later hours. But hey. They also need to rest right?

Ledya Z.

Yelp
I've been going here since I've been in high school! I'm 26 now!!! One Of my favorite places to get almond croissants. Wish they would be open 24/7. Best spot in Miami!!!!

Evelyn R.

Yelp
The sandwiches, spinach quiche and the creme brûlée are delicious. The fresh squeezed orange juice is also good. Love this place!

Alicia B.

Yelp
We went to this place on a Saturday, I was surprised to see a line to get inside. We bought almond chocolate croissants, chocolate croissants, ham and cheese croissants, regular croissants, éclairs and couple baguettes. As a French person living in Miami I often struggle to find good French pastries and baguettes, that actually are as well made than those in France. I was not impressed with our order. Overall, pastries were okay but the baguettes not as crispy and as fresh as expected. Slightly overcooked too. Chocolate croissants didn't have as much chocolate inside than they should have (chocolate should be in both sides not only in one, it should also be noticeable from the outside!) On a positive note, what is called " almond chocolate croissant " was delicious. Definitely inspired by a French specialty called " galette ". The mix of chocolate and the strong almond flavor was perfect . I might go back only for this specific pastry. Only 3 customers are allowed at the same time inside the business. You'll have to wait outside as soon as you ordered.

Lourdes M.

Yelp
Just got back from Paris but still wanted more. Went here for breakfast and the almond croissants were as good as I had in Paris! Absolutely delicious also we're the chocolate and almonds croissants! Great capuchino too! Can't wait to go back!

Robin P.

Yelp
First time visiting and we got in the line that flowed well outside the door. The customer area inside is small (room for maybe 10) but outside tables are available. We came for the cheese danish and ended up getting so much more! Everything tasted great from the meat pies to the chocolate croissants. It's now on my list of 'musts' for when I visit Miami.

Ashley T.

Yelp
Love eating their croissants for breakfast. Wish they were warm and not cold but I'll just pop it in the microwave at home.

Cristina L.

Yelp
Tried to go inside for a to go menu and a catering menu. Was yelled at by people in line to order. Asked the manager for a menu but was told not to be like everyone in Miami rudely and to explain to the line that I went in for catering. Um that's not My job, lost a $500 order. Horrible customer service

Helena A.

Yelp
Authentic French style bakery. Don't let the long line hold you back. It flies! It's basically a walk up place for delicious pastries bread and coffee. There are some bistro tables outside. But really, plan on taking out. My family devours the baguettes. As always, I would love some more gluten free options for me.

Aislinn Q.

Yelp
Has the most amazing pastries and breads and quiches! I frequented them for more than 20 years. My favorite was the round raisin danish type roll they had. Unfortunately now I am vegan - I sooo wish they would make some vegan options - Miyoko butter is amazing and would work I think, as would Just Eggs for eggs. But, for all you non-vegans, this is the best French bakery I've ever been to outside of Paris.

Monica G.

Yelp
This is a small French bakery in the South Miami/Kendall area. There are a few tables outside and a bar with a few seats indoors. Its been crowded mostly when ive gone so i usually just pick up an order of croissants to take to work and go. Ive only tried the croissants: Almond, chocolate and guava. My favorite being the Almond flavored since its light and not overpowering. The chocolate is rich, definately a chocolate lovers dream. The Guava Croissant had a chunk of guava inside. i was hoping for something creamier but good overall. The croissants are extremely filling and big in size and i feel they are the highlight of the bakery. They are good to order and go and show off at work or a function instead of traditional donuts that people usually bring to the office. Ive had a Latte as well and it was decent. Service is fast and the staff behind the counter are always nice.

Trinaty B.

Yelp
This little french bakery was very cute! Not only do they offer a decent selection of baked goods, but they also offer coffee and sandwiches. The staff are very kind! Loved this place, the chocolate croissant was very delicious :)

Mandy H.

Yelp
Not happy at all. Customer service is poor, they're expensive, and on top of that, they charge you an additional 3.75% fee when you use your credit card. I went in for the first time to order a couple of croissants and two coffees, and they were not that great. I've had better service and better croissants at other French bakery's. Not worth it.

Laritsa N.

Yelp
They're croissants and bagels are a must try... OH! And tHeir créeme Brûlée When you get the bagels you have to get the veggie cream cheese and their salmon cream cheese. It goes so well together. Their croissants are so good too and they have many sweet options. You have to get the Almond one So good and tasty. When it comes to the sweets, I've tried the créeme brûlée and the mini pastries and wowww soo delicious. This place is definitely a a good spot for French delights. I gave them a four because sometimes they have low energy people working there, sometimes. Otherwise, idc I just go there for the food.

Blank B.

Yelp
I have been a regular here for 2 years, every single time I come I order the same thing: two baguettes. Last month I noticed some discrepancies when I was charged over 10 dollars for 2 baguettes, I decided to let it slide but after being charged much less this week I decided to check my credit card transactions for this place. Over the last 30 days alone the price has wildly fluctuated (I could go back further and verify), I have noticed that when employees do not turn the screen over to you when you order somehow you end up getting charged differently..does this mean they are tipping themselves? If so, how often are they doing this, does every employee do this? Is this something the owner needs to address before we file a complaint with the Florida department of agriculture and consumer services? Patrons deserve answers and clarification on why two baguettes cost 10.89, 8.71, 7.99 and 7.26 over the course of less than 30 days and why you are not flipping the screen to customers prior to ending the transaction to have price transparency. I bet if I went back further than 30 days we would see some crazy fluctuation in price as well. I will be happy to remove this review once I have some answers. I tried reaching out to the owner but the phone never answers or goes to fax and I haven't received a response to the email I sent out.

Yelp
It's Saturday morning and heading to Dadeland Mall make a quick stop at this French style bakery been reading great reviews about. Place is located in a small shopping center just off South Dixie Hwy in Pinecrest. Bakery is small and not as many pastries as you would see in most Miami bakeries, but what they have looks very good. I immediately we to menu on board and ordered tuna sandwich, hot chocolate drink and a raspberry cookie (similar to a linear) and staff was super friendly. Ate food at little tables they have in front of business and was very delicious. Hope to be back soon to try other items on menu. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

Carlo G.

Yelp
Incredible incredible freshly baked pastries and deserts. Coffees are prepared very well, all the pastries are just incredible, and there is always a line out the door.
