French Broad Chocolate at Ponce City Market

This cute little shop is inside of the dessert section of the food court. They have delectable hand crafted chocolates and sweets. Today I ordered a brownie and 2 pieces of chocolate…the brownie was super fudgy and to die for. The chocolate caramel was pretty good but seemed a little expensive.

I looooooove this place. I especially adore the warm brownies and Carmel Chocolate Pot de Crème dessert that comes in a reusable jar! How clever is that!! The chocolate ambassadors that showcase the Asheville, NC brand at this location are fabulous and professional. Don’t miss out on such a special gem in Ponce City Market located in the dessert alley.

Just came here with my boyfriend for a few bonbons, and we ended up buying 4 delicious bars! Their white chocolate collection is out of this world, and I love that they're a certified B Corp. The lemon cheesecake bonbon will change your life, if you like sweet stuff.

Not exaggerating, the salted caramel brownie from French Broad is the best brownie I’ve eaten in my entire life. If you’re passing through Ponce City Market, you have to give it a try. It’ll change your life.

Very dense, moist, chocolatey, fudge style brownie. Just how I like it. The salted caramel topping didn't really come through at all and that actually worked for me, as I just wanted a plain brownie. I was sad to see this cute little shop tucked behind the main row, almost out of sight, so I made a pity purchase. My good deed was well rewarded 🤣 2024 update: brownie is just as good (altho, if brownie shops can figure out how to keep that top layer from forming a thin crust, it'd would be magic). Yesterday we also tried four chocolate truffles and the "rose cardamom pistachio" was out of this world. This flavor profile, found in some hardcore Indian and middle eastern sweets, never had it in chocolate before. Well done.

I came to buy boxes of assorted chocolates for Christmas presents. These are advertised prominently on the website and in photos on Googe Maps. The store had nothing like them in stock. No warning of this lack of featured merchandise on the web site or Maps. I made a trip to Ponce City Market and paid for parking for nothing...

I would highly suggest owners watch how their employees work. As a business owner, I was appalled watching this younger generation literally not even care and getting paid for it. This is why many businesses are failing . 0 accountability . I went by yesterday and see a beautiful display of choclate. they sat in front of register with their faces glued to their phone and not 1 time did one girl even look up. I grabbed my stuff and walked to the reqister, it took her a moment to even realize I was there , while the other had headphones in ears head down and not one time looked up , just was there to be there get paid and go home. This was yesterday afternoon and I feel bad for the owners.

A little taste of Asheville in Atlanta. This brand new hidden gem at Ponce City Market behind Honeysuckle Gelato/Cake Culture is not to be missed. It will be the best hot chocolate you've ever tasted in your life. The brownies are decadent and well worth the price. You can tell a lot of love and high quality ingredients go into everything they make. Try it now before everyone finds out about it! The lines for this place in Asheville are always out the door.

We were browsing around and trying to decide on a dessert and settled on sharing a brownie. We got one to share since we already had drinks and lunch before. The brownie was probably the best one Ive ever had and I'm sad I didn't order more to bring back with me. I

I came back today specifically to try this place after seeing it yesterday, however, after being ignored for 5 minutes while she helped others I decided not to give it a try. Customer service- 0. The sample I had yesterday was great and everything looks good, but I refuse to spend my dollars where I don't feel valued

The lady that helped us figure out which chocolates to go for was very genuine and patient. We walked away with several chocolates.

Can't go wrong with gourmet chocolates. I first had these at the Biltmore and loved the Chocolate Raspberry paired with red wine. When I returned home I ate one a day trying to keep them as long as possible but of course all good things end. When I stumbled upon this stall at Ponce City Market I was overjoyed! I stocked up on my favs, including Raspberry and Lemon, and tried some new alcohol based ones. The service was friendly and the location was tucked away in what I consider to be the dessert nook. Now that I know this is here, I'll definitely be back.

I'm not sure how I didn't know this was here this entire time! I think they opened late in 2022 and had I known I would have visited MUCH sooner. It's inside Ponce so parking is what it is. That said - these bonbons y'all. Out. Of. This. World. I fell in love with French broad in Asheville (where they started) and was always so bummed with how far away they are. We have a toddler now so we don't get out of town as much as we would like. Having French broad in ATL is such a blessing. It is some of the best chocolate I have had and I don't say that lightly. I love all the fun seasonal flavors and they have some really amazing ones you can hand pick at the kiosk - I'm talking to you passionfruit. You can grab a prepacked box and other goodies or grab individual ones. They also have other treats like chocolate bars and hot chocolate and brownies. I won't waste my time on other chocolates because it doesn't get better than the bonbons but I will try the brownie soon! If you haven't been you really are missing out. They are pricey, but what isn't these days. If I could give them more stars I would. Really excited to go back for more!

Got some chocolate from here while on vacation, only eating it now days later and it's quite delicious. I've only tried one flavor so far too. Cute little shop.

The service is amazing and the chocolates are so delicious. They have everything labeled for allergies and they have gluten free options in both milk and dark chocolate.
