"This breakfast croissant comes with egg, cheese, and a choice of ham, bacon, or Philly steak meat. French Meadow serves lots of baked goods, too, like cinnamon raisin twists and gluten-free sconuts." - Justine Jones

Great gluten-free options amidst a fairgrounds full of not gluten-friendly stands. The food was amazing (especially the "sconuts")! The one downside I would have to mention is that they did accidentally make my gluten-free sandwich on regular wheat bread and I'm the one who caught the mistake. Cooking also took awhile, but it was worth the wait.

I was so excited to see French Meadow Bakery at the Minnesota State Fair. I recently discovered French Meadow in St Paul. So awesome to be part of the Minnesota State Fair.

This is my first stop every year at the State Fair. The Black Currant Tea is the best! Next to the Scones! This year they offer a SconeNut which is a cross between a scone and a donut! BUT Wait! There's More! The best thing was the service that I received from Eden and CJ! These two youngsters knocked it out of the park. To see people wanting to work long hours and deliver with true smiles and authenticity made my first stop extra special! THANKS, kids, for what you do. "I'll Be Back". (Say it like Arnold) 8-)

A state fair favorite! They seem to be back up to their pre pandemic quality!

The cauliflower is why we come find you at the fair every year. The thick breading this year was all we could taste. Not good - we threw it away. 😞 Service was great and the quiet place to sit and eat was welcome as always.

I made a beeline because I saw they had GF options for sandwiches. I have an egg allergy and gluten intolerance, so I ordered the GF sconuts (delicious!) and a Heirloom Tomato Turkey & Bacon on GF bread, without the aioli. I received the sconuts right away but was handed two incorrect sandwiches before they (after asking several times which sandwich I got) finally gave me the turkey sandwich, on the butt ends of the GF loaf … and no bacon. After 30 minutes of waiting. I shouldn’t have had to point them to the menu to understand the sandwich I was ordering. At no point did I ask for the breakfast croissant on gf bread, but was handed two of them :( could be first weekend jitters but it sucks to be the one in line watching everyone else get their correct order. Use caution if GF.

Recommend. Honest Business. Reimbursed for Duplicate Transaction! Barista charged my debit card TWICE at the state fair; first at $9.50 (actual cost of my two beverages) then again at $10.00 saying in order to use plastic a $10.00 minimum order is required. Really? Why wasn’t I told this BEFORE you ran my card the first time? As much as my husband and I love expresso drinks we were not expecting a $19.50 charge for two lattés! Ridiculous! I reached out to the establishment for credit via e-mail. A few days later, I was contacted by Chris Gleize with an apology for the inconvenience and a FULL refund! I am thankful for business establishment that will honor its error!
