TLDR: Italian. Italian. Italian. I managed to slide in without a reservation and found the atmosphere and service fantastic. But the real points for a restaurant hang on the food, no? Free bread and oil spread = great. 1 handcrafted drink of choice = on point. Pistachio Tiramisu = deliciously delivered. Entree = curious? The entree in question is the rigatoni bolognese. Presentation for this dish was satisfactory and the pasta was cooked to a nice consistency - not crunchy, not rubbery, just right. The curious part arises at the sauce - it was very salty. Not to the point of pucker factor but 2 shakes or so from it. Maybe it's just been a while for me and this dish? Who knows.

I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was amazing!! Also I did lose my receipt but manager helped me out the next day when I went back. Great customer service and I’ll definitely come here again!

I was craving Italian and this placed delivered. Their slogan is "99% Italian .. 100% would be Italy" (or something like that), and it's definitely true. Lasagna piece came baked fresh in its own mini cast-iron skillet; packed with meat, sauce, cheese, and homemade noodles. Per Husband: The only negative was the cheese had a hint of "Magnum marker" smell, but it didn't taste weird or anything - so maybe just the type of cheese used?? I had Fettuccine Alfredo, plain. The sauce was delicious! Perfect blend of spices and garlic. Of course the noodles were homemade! The bruschetta was very different. I was expecting all the things on top of toasted bread; it came with everything like a charcuterie board: halved tomatoes with basil leave and vinaigrette drizzle, cheese, strawberry jam-ish. I know it sounds like a very crazy combo, but I tried everything spread on a piece of the bread and it was almost Heaven! Table bread was super soft on the inside and lightly crunchy on the outside but was fresh out the oven. The oil and pesto dip could have used a little more garlic and pesto, but that's just my opinion. It was DELICIOUS still! My only negative: the water is definitely not filtered. But I put some lemon drops in my cup and it was manageable. Short story: GO EAT HERE!

Stopped by after watching a show at Westgate Hotel. I've passed by this restaurant many times, and I'm glad we were able to dine here. I didn't realize that it's pretty good in size. We sat in a booth along the wall. Service was good and attentive. Food: Meat Lasagna Bruschetta and Burrata Board The lasagna had a good flavor and was very cheesy. The bruschetta was equally delicious, and I loved the creamy burrata. Great spot and I'll return again.

This photo represents exemplary customer service. I’ll explain. My bartender, Marcus, who met me for the first time in September, remembered I liked Sazarec Manhattans when I returned in December. This man sees probably millions of people every year - but he remembered my drink. But, oh no! He ran out of Sazarec! Instead of just telling me that he’s out, he engaged his team - Jocelyn and Tania - who scoured every inch of Westgate Resort to find my Sazarec. And that they did! There are very few places that truly go “above and beyond” for their customers - but this is definitely one of them!

Went on a weeknight and only the bar area seating was available. I guess it was slow and nothing was going on in town at the time. The service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. They give warm bread with olive oil and garlic and it was great. The lasagna was delicious...tender sheets of noodles, a good amount of meat and rich sauce and cheese. They have the best affogato I've ever had! I've previously had the ribeye and it was just ok. It was a takeout order. I would go back for the lasagna and possibly try other items.

We had delicious chicken Alfredo and delicious chicken Parmesan with spaghetti delicious🥘

Had dinner here two nights in a row. Excellent service and the food/wines were very tasty. The staff timed my meal perfectly. Would absolutely eat here again.

Yelp
Commuted the last minute dessert to celebrate my husband's birthday and fresco Italiano really came in clutch! We were staying at the hotel itself and came to the restaurant just maybe 10 minutes before they were supposed to close. Barriers were already put so guests could not come in but we the walked up to the bar and requested a pistachio tiramisu and they gave it to go. Tiramisu itself was really soft and creamy and delicious. Just the perfect balance of the mascarpone and the coffee and the pistachio. I was actually surprised how well the flavors went together. It was also the perfect level of sweetness (neither too sweet from the sugar not too bitter from the coffee). They even delivered on the the decorations even though we ordered it to go. Quite a big potion size as well by the way!

Yelp
As we were in town for the Barry Manilow concert for my wife's birthday gift, we decided to get dinner at a restaurant at the Westgate. When we heard that Fresco had rave reviews, it seemed a no brainer. Not sure if it was the rush due to the concert or everything else, but it was a bit disappointing. Certain members of the staff were very friendly but looked a bit harried. If it were only about them, this score would be higher. It took a bit to get seated even though we had reservations. Again, the staff looked a bit harried. When we were seated, we were provided the wine list promptly and provided some wonderful house bread. We were feeling a bit under the weather, not sick, just tired so we decided to not over order. We ordered the calamari, and the rigatoni bolognese and spaghetti pomodoro for the meal. The calamari left a bit to be desired. The sauces they were served with seemed good, but the calamari were all small pieces and felt like more batter and peppers than actual calamari. The pastas were wonderful. The pomodoro sauce was quite good. The meatball it was served with was excellent. The ragu for the rigatoni was very good and I really enjoyed that dish. Would definitely order again The staff did apologize about the wait and said that they were going to be pretty empty once the concert started. Makes me want to try this one more time when they aren't as rushed.

Yelp
This place has completely lost its edge. I used to come here regardless of whether I was anywhere near the Westgate, but after tonight it's out of the rotation. The service was congenial. Great. Without an understanding of hospitality or an inability to internalize direct language, it's just poor service with a smile. I don't want to badger the servers, though, because they're good folks who are being completely mis-managed as though they're still at Wendy's. Jump to the food. They've redone the menu, removing classics (like the butternut squash ravioli) in some weird effort to "see what works," which makes no sense because for years this place worked very nicely. Anyway, I order the pasta pomodoro and a glass of wine. After about 6 minutes the wine arrives (really? Wine is always an emergency) and then 30 seconds later the pasta shows up. The pasta is overcooked; the pomodoro sauce is lukewarm and watery. I spent the next few minutes trying to understand how pasta that hit the table in 6.5 minutes could be cold and mushy. My conclusion? This place has gone in the toilet. But the evening wouldn't be a total loss because I could still get those amazing bombolone at the end of the night, right? Nope. Scratched from the now-plastic, easy-to-clean and never-to-change menu. Used to be a really nice place. Don't bother.

Yelp
Delicious food. Our server Angelo took great care of us. I made a reservation on Open Table indicating it was my bday. It seemed like the whole restaurant was made aware. I received lots of well wishes from staff. We did have to wait about 10 min though. The Ricotta Gnocchi was SOOOOOO good and filling. My husband had Alfredo and added chicken, mushrooms, and chicken. He really enjoyed it and couldn't finish it. I was given a complementary slice of ricotta cheesecake. Nice touch. The slices are $12. Yummy. Beautiful decor. Low lighting. Casual dress. There are steps to walk in to the restaurant. Highly recommend for good Italian food. Family friendly, but entrees average $20.

Yelp
After a work meeting, we headed to Fresco Italiano at the Westgate Hotel and Casino, and I'm so glad we did! I ordered the Linguine and Clams, and it was amazing. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. Despite arriving 30 minutes before closing, the staff welcomed us warmly and didn't rush us at all, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a relaxed atmosphere. It's not always easy to find a place that combines great food with excellent service, but Fresco Italiano nailed it. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
An updated review, but I'm still on the same star rating as one year ago when I ate here. The ambiance is nice - there's tables in the bar are and there's a more traditional dining area with an open kitchen. We sat in a booth and it took a while to have a server come greet us. So, we had time to look at the menu. When she did finally come we ordered beverages. Our friend had a question on the available beer because the restaurant is very dim lighted for ambiance and the writing is quite small on the menu which he could not see. Upon asking the server, she immediately said, "Well you can read it on the menu." This was an immediate turn off because we understand there's a menu, but perhaps the writing is small and with the lighting the person cannot see it. She could have asked if the person preferred a light beer or a {insert type} of beer which would help her narrow down a suggestion. After ordering beverages, the beer NEVER COMES. On top of that, servers with tables all around us are immediately served bread from their server, yet we did not receive any. When our server finally comes around, she has bread, but then we ask where the beer is and she says, "Oh! Let me go get it." At our table, we had Lasagna, Rigatoni Bolognese, and Linguine Clams. The lasagna was just OK - the server raved that it would come out bubbly hot, but it was warm, but not bubbly. It is a large portion though. The Rigatoni Bolognese was pretty good - again, nice portion and it's what you would expect in a good dish. The Linguine Clams has a nice lemony flavor and a little spice kick. There are quite a few clams in the dish and overall good. The sauce isn't quite the brothy kind you might come to expect, it's got a little creaminess to it. All in all - the food was alright, but the start to the server and then the server never coming back mid-entree to check if all was good is a knock on the service aspect of the dining experience.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Fresco Italiano on Saturday! We had a reservation at 5pm and were seated almost immediately. We had a good, attentive server who made sure we were well taken care of. The restaurant and its decor is pretty, but the food is AMAZING. They gave us delicious focaccia bread with olive oil dip which was SO good! We ordered the bruschetta which was "deconstructed" so you could put together your own pieces with the tomatoes and burrata. For my entree I got the mushroom fettuccine - it was rich and creamy with humongous mushrooms. My parents had the chicken Parmesan which was a really huge chicken breast. They really enjoyed it! I ended the meal with an affogato (which is honestly big enough for two people). We really enjoyed our meal and we will be back!

Yelp
Service was utterly horrible. To be the supposed #1 Italian restaurant in Las Vegas, well the standards are pretty low. The misticanza salad was so drenched in dressing for me it was inedible. Rigatoni bolognese was good Veal scallopini was cold and presentation was blech Wine pour was minimal

Yelp
This place was easy to find on Restaurant Row in the Westgate hotel. I recommend you Make a reservation on Opentable! Several guests were turned away at the door because they didn't have one (even though it was a Thursday night). The Melanzane app was so delicious (eggplant with basil, burrata, and tomato sauce) that our group ordered 2! The Italian chopped salad was tasty and much larger than we expected. The whipped burrata and fig preserve on the bruschetta board was to die for. Our server was kind and got us in and out quickly so that we could arrive to our cirque show on time!

Lorena P.

Yelp
Trash. Terrible service. Rude staff. You can't even get a fork after 20 minutes. I am hoping the bolognaise is good, but it's ice cold since I haven't had a fork.

Shaun T.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a sizable crew of 12. The restaurant was staffed and the crowd was light at the start of lunchtime. Most of the spaces had a menu that looked like a placemat but a few did not. Not a surprising menu, burgers, sandwiches and salads. I had the Caesar salad with shrimp. For me, the shrimp seemed cooked frozen and just pink little pieces. Rather it was grilled and hot.

Cory B.

Yelp
Unacceptable, racist customer service. They claimed the restaurant was 'booked for the night'--what a joke. Vegas has far better dining options; there's no reason to put up with being treated poorly at such an awful establishment.

Maya L.

Yelp
Came here when myself and my colleagues were at a conference in Vegas. I heard that this restaurant had been awarded the top Italian restaurant for its authenticity, etc, so naturally we wanted to try it out. The good: -We were seated pretty promptly. Reservations were easy to make on open table. - the appetizers we ordered were prompt and delicious, making the group I was seated with look forward to our meal. - good combination deal with the wine and 3-course meal. - the dark wine cave ish feel was very romantic and I could see how this would elevate the feel of our meals. The not so good: - disappointed when we couldn't get our two large parties near each other when we were seated. - the food took over 2 hours for us to receive. - there was half of our party where they were seated separately who had ordered, received their meal, completed eating and were coming up to check in on the table we were at. - the mess ups on the order! Pasta not cooked all the way! This was pretty much up there with the disappointment factor of waiting for our meals We ultimately got the rest of our courses to go because it was 9:30 at night and we had begun our meal at 6. The hostess was nice and took off two glasses of wine for certain people in my group and two of the 3 course meals because of the mess up and the wait. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not sure why this restaurant is touted number one by TripAdvisor. I was going to give 3 stars but added one because of the redeeming quality of our hostess and the hospitality she possessed, comping items for the individuals in the party. although we had to split our group up into smaller parties because they wouldn't let us put in a reservation together. - There's a

Yelp
When you go to Vegas, you should know that if you wait until it's dinner time to check for reservations, they will all be full. We were fools. But we also got lucky and learned that bar seating at the Fresco Italiano was first come, first serve - which was fortunate for our little party of two. Bar tender was sweet and super helpful our entire meal - serving me a great virgin maitai and my partner an alcoholic one. The pasta, all in-house made, was amazing. Best restaurant spaghetti I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and filling. Enough to share with my partner as well. He had the cheese ravioli, and made faces of delight while eating it, so I presume it was a winner. It's low lit, so people with eye problems like myself will want to take extra care in walking around, but it does set a romantic ambiance. And the affogato - amazing and perfect. The best balance of espresso to gelato I've had in some time. Overall a fantastic experience that excelled over our expectations.

Jason M.

Yelp
We were staying at the Westgate for a conference and didn't want go out so we gave Fresco Italiano a try. The Good-ish: Our reserved table was ready right on time. The Calamari was ok - about middling if I am being honest and I very often order it as an appetizer. My rigatoni was ok and my wife's gnocchi was also ok - the gnocchi themselves were not bad. The portions are relatively generous for the relatively low price point inside a Vegas hotel. The decor is nice enough ... I'll describe it as a pretty standard Vegas strip mall hotel kiosk restaurant feel. The bad: Service was very slow despite it being relatively empty in the small front area where we dined on a Friday night. I gather there were other dining rooms so maybe those were packed? The plates for appetizers and salads were never collected despite them being completely finished and placed very obviously on the edge of the table. The table was littered with empty plates by the meal's end. The Oaxaca Mule was downright nasty ... and with service being rough I watched it get made at the bar and then sit on the end of the bar for 20 minutes before the server finally returned and realized they had not brought my drink.... they had to ask me if I had ordered a drink too before they went to retrieve it. Since our appetizers were brought out by kitchen staff there was no chance during the 20 minute server disappearance to ask after my drink either. Lastly the Tiramisu ... save your money although they definitely don't skimp on the booze. It is a desert your alcoholic aunt might like but not for the taste.... closer to a booze soaked Tiramisu-inspired cheesecake blob IMO. Soggy drenched lady-fingers do not go on top people. I'm not even sure the booze was amaretto.

Tina L.

Yelp
Ah, Fresco Italiano in Las Vegas - where the pasta is so good, it makes you forget you're in the middle of the desert! Picture this: you walk in, and it's like Italy and Vegas had a delicious love child. The ambiance? It's like a romantic dinner and a magic show had a baby. You might even catch a glimpse of a celebrity dining incognito - or maybe it's just someone who looks like one after a long night at the slot machines. Now, let's talk about the food. The pasta is so fresh it probably still has a Facebook profile. If your taste buds had a dance party, this would be the DJ. And the portion sizes? Let's just say, you might need a wheelbarrow to roll yourself out of there. If you want to impress a date or just indulge in some carb-loaded joy, Fresco Italiano is your spot. Just be prepared to loosen that belt and embrace the Las Vegas motto: "What happens at Fresco Italiano, stays on your hips."

Jessica S.

Yelp
We gorged ourselves on mozzarella sticks, stuffed eggplant and margarita pizza. Of course I had to wash it down with a couple of sidecars. Even though this classy restaurant was crowded and noisy the night we went, we had so much fun! Fresco's is lively with a friendly wait staff and great selection of food and drink. By the time we were done stuffing our faces, there was no more room for dessert. Too bad we don't have an extra stomach for times like this! Next time I'm in Vegas, I'll have to come here just to try dessert. I definitely recommend this spot, but make sure to make a reservation because they fill up fast!

Randy B.

Yelp
Food was excellent as was the service and atmosphere. We dined here on April 8th, then saw the Soultown show.

Anthony R.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves a higher yelp score. Buddy V's at the Venetian is usually our easy go-to for Italian, but we gave this place a go this time around and it's just as good, if not better! Both the pasta dishes we had were outstanding, and the bread served along with our dinner was so good that I just couldn't stop eating it. The service was top notch and the dim lit interior was very cozy and comfortable. I'm definitely looking forward to our next visit!

John Anthony C.

Yelp
Service:The service staff either hated being there or could not speak English Food: Very Bland - Duck was not prepared properly (Brine) Ambiance: Nice but need more lighting Price: Very expensive Beverages: Harvest Apple Martini was horrible and cinnamon dusting took away from the "23 years" rum Photo: Meal was dry with "duck" oil at the bottom PS: Bill splitting should be allowed - 2024

Rita C.

Yelp
Great service, I couldn't be more pleased with how attentive our server was. Imre was fantastic, he has that ability to know when you are ready for the next drink/dish. AND the food is amazing...so good. Maybe not a great place for small children, but our junior loved it! The gnocchi and mushroom linguine were amazing. Will definitely be back on our next trip

Bryan N.

Yelp
We had a very nice dinner there. The service was fast and friendly. We shared a Caesar salad and a pizza. Both were excellent, but the pizza was exceptional. It had pepperoni meatballs, and sausage was just outstanding . They brought out some delicious garlic bread and instead of plain olive oil they put lots of interesting seasonings and ingredients in the oil. It was so good . Reasonable prices for Vegas. I would definitely come back.

Mike S.

Yelp
The food was very good. Had a chop salad. That was excellent. One person had pizza that was very good. I had a veal dish that was absolutely delicious and a very large helping of veal. This restaurant is much better than the pricier steakhouse Nextdoor in my opinion.

Apple S.

Yelp
We had dinner here and even it was busy we were lucky to get a table. The complimentary bread with garlic oil was delicious! We ordered the espresso martinis and they were really good. I ordered the chef's selection as it's a good deal for three courses however we did find out the salad was a lot smaller. I also ordered the caprese salad of which the mozzarella was delicious but the tomatoes were not. Overall ok. My main was the salmon and it was eh. I like my salmon well done and it was undercooked for me however I didn't ask so my fault. It did have a perfect crisp on the outside. The arugula was good but the dressing not so much. The asparagus was delicious. And then they made the weird decision to add tomato sauce, which did not match the dish. The dessert well I chose the tiramisu again just to see if they had finally changed it yet and nope, still not tiramisu but nothing with whipped cream with some cookies and chocolate beans. THIS IS NOT TIRAMISU STOP NAMING IT THAT. they have good things here and I made the mistake to order wrong. Their pastas are really good and large portions and their pizzas are really good too. My friends had to bolognese pasta and duck pasta and both were excellent!!! Don't pick healthy like me and go for pasta:))) their gelato is also really good, stay away from the "tiramisu".

Katie G.

Yelp
My server, Noah, was excellent. He kept me updated on the status of all my courses, which I greatly appreciated. The food was delicious. I had a huge caesar salad and fettuccine Alfredo pasta. Located in West Gate hotel.

Mindy L.

Yelp
A wonderful place to eat that was conveniently located in our hotel. I selected the chiefs special which includes a 3 course meal for around $50. The staff were very nice and attentive and the atmosphere was quiet and inviting. Would definitely go back if ever back in Vegas.

L L.

Yelp
This place is a diamond in the rough. Caesar salad was totally awesome. I followed with the chicken parmigiana and finished with tiramisu. The chicken was tender, the marinara sauce was the best I've ever had, a little on the pasty side and stuck well to the pasta noodles . Desert was a little creative, served in a non-traditional manner, nice touch.

Massy A.

Yelp
It was ok. The bread and the olive oil with garlic and herbs was the highlight of the dinner. I ordered the chicken with veggies and polenta. The skin on the chicken thighs was not cooked long enough. The fat was not rendered resulting in soggy skin. The polenta was store bought at best and the mixed veggies had yellowing broccoli heads, which is indicative of old broccoli. My partner ordered the lasagna and it was a very large portion and was ok. Lacked a little bit of flavor. Our server, Andy, was very nice, prompt, made suggestions and took care of us ok. The ambiance was decent for a hotel restaurant. I guess I expected a little better quality with such high prices.

Michael B.

Yelp
This wasn't a planned stopped but we heard the steakhouse here was the best in Vegas...but it was closed today. So we "settled" on Fresco and it was amazing! Very nice setting, friendly service (though could've seen them more often), and the food was some of the best Italian we've had! A little off the strip (kinda nice actually) but I highly recommend it. I had the veal which was incredible and my son had the lasagna that was the best he's ever had!

Hani G.

Yelp
We booked our table before dinner but it wasn't that busy, i think you can get a table with no reservation. We were seated outside so we wnjoyed watching people walking by inside the hotel. We got frutti de mare and the seabass My seabass was delicious but it comes with only salad so it is not really a filling meal. My wife like her frutti de mare but not the pasta itself. The service was ok, the server were helpful and nice.

David S.

Yelp
Fresco Italiano posted they were the number 1 Italian restaurant in Las Vegas. Sad to say, this must not be true. The food was average at best. The salad was great, the meatballs were dry and tough, the lasagna was average. Eat at your own risk.

Carole L.

Yelp
I am not sure hoe to rate our experience. We were very excited to try this place. We live in Vegas and have not been here. We were seeing a show at Westgate and decided to try Fresco's as the Yelp reviews were most positive . I will say this nights vibe was wierd. We checked in early for our reservation and told the hostess we would be back closer to our reserved time. 10 mins before our time we came back and the hostess told us we could not be seated until our reserved time. There were several other people waiting was well. We were disappointed to be sat in the bar area. We didn't say anything so that's on us. The reviews for this place were mixed on food, but all raved about service. We didn't have a great service experience. Our waiter did greet us upon being seated gave us the drink menu and asked if we knew what we wanted. We did, so he took our order. I ordered the tasting menu, and told waiter I wasn't sure what I wanted for dessert. He then told me he had to put in full order, so I opted for cheesecake. That was the last we saw of the waiter. He did check on us once towards the end of meal, I asked for more water, and told him I was done eating. I never more water nor where our dirty dishes cleared. After approximately 1/2 hour we asked the hosted for our dessert, dirty dishes still on table. She came back approximately 10 minutes later with probably the worst cheesecake we ever had. Now the waiter came back to table, we asked him if they were short handed this evening as there is very wierd vibe. He said there is something going on in kitchen but he didn't want to be the guy to call them out on it. The food was very good and to the table in reasonable amount of time. Our issue was service, our drink order was never taken our water not refilled, we didn't get the warm bread and dipping oil and again dirty dishes sat on the table the whole time. I don't think it is fair to blame the kitchen So our experience was wierd and we probably won't give them a second chance as our bill was over $100. and the experience was not good

Pacita D.

Yelp
We were so looking forward to dining at this restaurant because it supposedly earned "Best of" accolades. Alas, we were underwhelmed and disappointed. Were it not for our very cheerful and attentive server, Edith, the experience would be a total loss. We ordered the branzino --- as pricey as it was, it did not impress. The salad that came with it was flavorless, so I tried to dress it up by dicing and mixing the seared slice of orange that came with it. The chicken parmigiana with pasta is a favorite dish elsewhere, but this restaurant's version is blah. The pasta was pasty, and the sauce is nothing to brag about. We liked the bread, though....but will we be back? Nah!

Don K.

Yelp
The trio bruschetta is phenomenal! As was the special of truffle risotto with peas. However my go to dish to test Italian restaurants is chicken Marsala and I understand why it's not on the menu, as they said they would make it, but it was the worst. The chicken was overcooked and tough and the pasta was too el dente, with a decent bit salty sauce. Service was excellent and a nice relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a meal before the show.

Jen B.

Yelp
A very nice surprise find while attending a week-long event in the LVCC where food prices were ridiculous for cardboard offerings and lack of seating. We opted to shell for a place to sit and were pleasantly surrprised by the relatively reasonable prices here. Great cocktail (espresso martini), pasta (clearly fresh and al dente), cheesy margherita pizza with flavorfully fresh tomatoes (but light on basil). Fun server. Comfortable seating. Skip the LVCC Papa John $15 pizza experience and head here for fresh $18, hand-made options.

Yelp
This restaurant is found in the Westgate Casino/hotel, close to the valet entrance and near several other upscale dining choices. I dined there as part of a book club outing, so we were seated in a semi-private alcove. I recommend reservations, it was consistently busy throughout the night with a decent crowd always waiting. While both the ambiance and the food were delightful, the service was very slow, and the staff seemed a bit put out by us. It was a very busy night, and we were a party of 9, so perhaps it was stressful, but it was apparent we were annoying them with our many requests. :) However, the wine selection is great and the menu offers superb choices. We enjoyed complimentary bread and oil (delicious!) paired with a meatball appetizer, followed by our individual choices ranging from caesar salad to fettuccine to lasagna to veal, and everyone was more than satisfied with portion, quality, and price. They even split the check 9 ways for us, which is above and beyond what most places will do for a party of our size, so definitely a shout out is deserved for that! Overall, this was an enjoyable evening with good friends and good food.

Yelp
We were staying at the Westgate for a show and wife's bday weekend. She wanted to eat here so I made a reservation on Open Table. We arrived upon opening and were promptly seated. Bread took awhile but it was fresh, warm (tasted like Bridgford loaves) and good, oil was bland. She wanted the Seafood pasta which was full of assorted seafood, I ate the rest the following day. I ordered pasta w a meatball. Both dishes were clearly lacking sauce. Mine was almost a baked dish with lots of finely grated cheese and some cherry tomatoes. Other diners dishes looked similar w some folks asking for a side of sauce. Overall it was a good meal. Expensive drinks though.

Yelp
Good looking and good tasting spaghetti. It might not be the star of the menu, but it gets the job done. Now because spaghetti is spaghetti there isn't much more you can say about it to drive home that it's a comfort food except that it is about as good here as you would make yourself. 4 stars for the other pastas at the table which were all great. Nobody in our group of 7 was dissatisfied with their choice. Wine selection is excellent.

Yelp
I loved the pasta marinara and warm focaccia bread. I highly recommend the bomboloni for dessert and eat them while they're still warm. Otherwise, they get soggy and are not as good. The servers are attentive.

Yelp
VISITOR BEWARE!!! I visited this restaurant while on a work trip and the service I received was horrendous. Our server was not attentive at all, we didn't get water for our table until we were half way through our meal. As mentioned before, I went to dinner here while on a work trip, so thankfully I kept my receipt. As I was getting ready to submit my report I noticed that the restaurant charged me $117 when my receipt clearly states I authorized $63. They charged me nearly double. I'm in the process of disputing the charge, but beware to check how much they charge if you do decide to give them a try. The food and ambience were just ok but definitely overshadowed by the poor service provided. If you're looking for a good Italian experience, look elsewhere. Learn from my experience. UPDATE: After days of trying to get the overcharge resolved, the manager at Fresco Italiano returned my call and provided a solution to the situation I referenced above.

Yelp
Food was so good! Service was excellent! Love the place. Hostess could've handled line control better but everything was wonderful. Def going on our date list!

Yelp
I come to Westgate for work every year and this was the first time I tried Fresco res. Three words, I Love it! Had open bruchetta: fig/pistachio, eggplant and tomatoes. Their bread is delicious! Meatball pasta is tasty and enjoyed every bite of it. Definitely recommend! Good attentive service!

Yelp
It felt like a coffee shop. The service seemed to be annoyed we were there. The order was delivered incorrectly. The food was average. There are so many good italian restaurants in Las Vegas . We know we won't return to this one.

Yelp
We tried a dinner here for a group of 5 of us. The wait staff clearly didn't care that we were there and when part of our group arrived a few minutes early, they told them to wait outside on the steps until the rest of the group came. Once seated, our waitress was essentially absent, only brought items like water after being asked repeatedly and acted put out at having to take our order. We were clear at the beginning that we needed to split our bill between 3 parties and when we reminded the waitress at the end of the meal, she told us that we could do it ourselves and handed me a pen. Finally after coming back several times to see if we were done, I told her we needed a few minutes and the manager stopped by with the separate bills. For what should have been a nice enjoyable meal out, the food was mediocre and expensive and the wait staff clearly all hate their jobs and customers. Definitely would not recommend.

Yelp
Great food and good service. We had few things here. The meatballs was delicious. The meta tartar was really good as well. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was great. Sad we had no room for deserts but it sue looked good.

Yelp
Dinner here our last night at Westgate. First impressions were not good. We had reservations for 7:30 and arrived early. The sign said wait to be seated. So we waited. And waited. Finally after 6 minutes and several workers walking by not even acknowledging us the hostess showed up with her phone from the bathroom across the hall. We were seated in the middle of the room but asked for a table out front by the hall. Much better place. The waiter came and dropped off the wine list and asked if we're ready to order. We literally just sat down and barely comfortable in the chair. He was gone for quite some time and someone else brought us water and said our server would be here soon. He arrived shortly after and said "Let's do this?" For a more upscale restaurant I've never heard that in an establishment like this. We ordered and he was helpful with portion sizes. We had lasagna and the Fruitti Di Mar. we both like the meal and the Ceasar salad was tasty also. Bread and oil was just ok. Not the best I've had. No desert since we filled up. Overall with all the selections in Vegas, I would not come back.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this restaurant got a few pretty bad reviews but I don't have anything bad to say here. The service was good. Waitress found us a table fairly quick and the waiter was very attentive. My water was filled every time I dipped below half glass! My wife enjoyed the spaghetti and meatball and I ordered the Frutti di Mare. The meatball that came with my wife's spaghetti was serious almost the size of a racquetball! My Seafood pasta was pretty good and I thought was prices well for what I got and the location. Both of our entrees and a glass of wine for my wife was around $65, excluding tax and tip.
