Fresh Chef Kitchen

The food certainly is Fresh in that all of the food is made to order, even the fries are hand cut! Their guacamole is wonderful and they seem agreeable to changing things up by allowing you to substitute celery or cucumber slices for tortilla chips. The salmon is fresh, perfectly cooked at Medium, portions are generous and prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity. The Matthews location has started a brunch menu on Sundays (not been to other locations). Service is attentive, food delivered to tabletop quickly. Really happy they are in our area!

Fresh Chef is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to and I’ll tell you why! The customer service is outstanding, no where in Charlotte beats it. The food is so fresh, hence the name, and never disappoints. The quality of the food and the prices are also great. The kale salad is by far the best kale salad I’ve ever had! Also, I’ve been to all of the locations and the food/service is the same across the board...awesome!

Really great food seasoned perfectly, and genuinely friendly service both times I've visited. Everything tastes fresh and the portion sizes are large. The food presentation is pleasing and similar to what you'd expect of a pricier establishment. The decor is lovely and lends to the refreshing and upbeat atmosphere. I will always come back when I'm in the area.

Never had a meal that I did not like! Great service, great food and great wine selection. Hostesses and wait staff are always friendly, inviting and truly interested in delivering a great dining experience. They take the time in getting to know their repeat clients and letting them experience anything new they are trying out. They really care about the quality of their food and service. Quickly became our favorite CLT restaurant..so good I fear that I will someday have a hard time getting a table.

I came to eat a few days ago and the food was amazing! The prices were fair. The service was incredible. My waitress, Stephanie was very helpful and attentive. I will definitely be coming back and can tell this will be a new favorite place to dine at.

My wife and I went there for the first time last weekend and liked it so much that we’re gathering up a group of eight to go there again tomorrow. The food was “excellent” and the staff and management were friendly, personable and eager for us to enjoy our whole dining experience. When deciding what to order, the manager brought us samples of two of the chef’s specialties. We liked them enough to include them with our order and we weren’t disappointed. Everything was delicious. When describing the restaurant to my sister, I told her it is on par with a restaurant that has a $$$ rating but actually has $$ prices. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit.

Great food and a great environment. The only reason I gave four stars is because I was told there was a special on Margarita's for $6. I asked if they had additional flavors, so that's what I got. I was never told that the additional flavor was $12. When I told the waitress about this, she apologized but did not adjust my bill. I usually always give a 20% tip, so I just deducted the additional amount of the drink off of my bill. I would recommend this place and I will more than likely be going back.

We took the family for my wife's birthday and were really impressed. All of the food was really good (the shrimp and grits were out of this world), and the waitress was super pleasant and engaging. Looking forward to going back.
