I love exploring stores, and this one caught my eye for offering halal meat options. Located in a small plaza in Anaheim, it has almost everything you need. However, the aisles are a bit narrow compared to other stores, which made shopping a little tricky with carts parked in the way. Despite this, the store’s square footage is well-utilized. The best part? The prices are affordable, and the quality of the items is excellent!

It is a local grocery store in Anaheim Hills. They have a good variety of fresh fruit for a fair price, some berries are $1 for a box! They have a bakery, I highly recommend trying the Jerusalem bagel. The variety of meat options they offer is amazing, and everything is fresh and halal. There is also a small kabob shop in the corner, near the exit from the store.

Very nice selection of middle eastern produce and goods. Includes bulk bins of dried fruit and nuts as well as a great bakery area with several different types of bread including zaatar bread and sesame bread. There is also a cafe with kebab plates and outdoor patio.

Overall I had severalbad experiences here and won't ho back. This store was recommended as the oil cured olives are 1/2 the price of Bristol Farms. The problem is that the olives don't taste good. The basmati rice I purchased smelled rancid after one month and they overcharged me for an item. The aisles are crowded with items and staff is either very friendly or just plain rude. Produce is hit or miss and can go bad in a day. They do have Halal products but my recommendation is to avoid if possible.

Very bad customer service ., I purchased 2 packages of spring roll dough opened as soon I get home to use it it was very dry and old. So I took it back to the store next day .one that opened and the closed one that kept in the freezer with the receipt. But the refused to refund the money . Feel bad cause am regular customer I get most of my shipping done at this store . The manager was rude and not helpful.

Fresh vegetables are great but most of the fruits are not fresh. Dairy has a nice selection to choose from and so does the meat department.

I'll give them 5 stars but I don't know why they don't carry more Persian branded items. For example, I asked the employee if they have Sadaf tea and they said they have it in the back, not sure why they do not put it in the aisle. There are so many Persians in Anaheim and Yorba Linda and this store needs to start carrying more Persian stuff. They should also create a larger Persian food court area like the whole some choice in Irvine. Please bring more Persian things at this store. A lot of Persians here have been asking for it. It is a very small store run by an Arabic management. jammed, crowded, especially between Wednesday to Friday, when there is a one-day sale. Prices are not so cheap, but reasonable and acceptable they try to be as competitive as possible. Eg suddenly the price of cooked food such as kabab went up by a dollar without mentioning why?

Came in to purchase some items and it was busy. Hot fresh bread coming out of the oven. Fresh fruits and veggies everywhere. The meat department and deli department were both busy. They also have a small little food court area and food for purchase by a restaurant name of Kimya. Great little store in a pocket or Anaheim Hills. Go in today!

Whenever we buy watermelon or pineapple from them they are all mushy and rotten! I cut it open it was sweet but very mushy

My wife likes to shop here, there is a great produce section. Huge variety and good prices. She also likes the butcher shop and gets nice cuts of beef or lamb. Sometimes I get some kabobs plates to take home from the separate food stand. We probably shop here once a week! Staff is nice and the store is clean.

Glad to have this ethnic grocery store in the area as they have ethnic produce which the regular grocery stores don't have. The other thing I like about them is their prices are reasonable compared to big box groceries. While it's not big, they have a bakery with fresh breads; produce section; meat section and dry goods area. There's also a small restaurant inside (Kimia) which sells middle eastern dishes. Kimia has a lunch special that's under $9. Grateful to have this store nearby so I don't have to drive to Westminster or Irvine for Asian items.

I have been coming here for years and the place is always up to standards and staff is always friendly! Love how they have all types of fruits! The manager Karmil always helps me with bulk grape leaf orders even though I couldn't find it any where else!

I just visited the establishment. The market has a convenient location with fresh produce. Prices are very reasonable. Bakery was unattended so couldn't get the enticing sweets and bread. Employees were busy talking to each other in spanish and offered no assistance. The cashier was especially rude and lacks common courtesy. The employee attitude unfortunately does not invite a return visit.

I have been a regular customer at Fresh Choice and have always appreciated your variety of products and commitment to the community. However, the incident with Karmil has left me disappointed and unsure if I can continue shopping at your store. I personally decided not to shop again from fresh choice giving the interaction with karmil Will definitely love to go back once Managment changes and replacing karmil with respectful, professional understanding manager.

I came here to pick up a quick lunch and while waiting for it, I decided to purchase some pita bread from the market. As I walked over to the register line, I noticed a number of people with shopping carts full of food and thought I was going to stand in line for a while. The lady I was going to stand behind noticed I only had one item and let me go in front of her. I guess the others in front of her heard the conversation and each one of them let me go in front of them and I ended up to be the next person in line to the register. This happened today 03/17/25 around noon. If any of you were one of those people that let me pass.. I just want to say Thank you!!

OMG! I bought some chicken from the meat counter. I got it home and could not believe how bad it stunk. It was rancid. The meat area/counter always looked a little sketchy to me. Now I now why. "Fresh Choice" That's false advertising. Produce is OK. It's cheap. You just have to look through it. The problem with the meat counter is they immediately put it in a double sealed thick plastic bag. You don't get the chance to smell it. No money back guarantee at this place . It's printed on the receipt. Lesson learned! Five dollars down the drain. i guess it could have been worse.

It is a full service store especially if you are looking for Mediterranean ingredients and food. Fruit is good the selection of cheeses are adequate. Shopping isles are a bit tight, narrower carts would help but I like the bigger selection. Ambiance is nice.

I live across the street, this place has the best pita breads and bakery. The coffee is really good and aforable. I really like the meats and Veggies and fruitas as well .

It's a nice place, the bakery makes amazing bread and really good pita bread!! If you want good bread, go to the bakery. They also have really delicious baklava.

The fruits and vegetables are so bad and old , the meat stinks. The customers service is terrible the staff barely speak English. No one helps . The meat department is so unorganized and the tickets number never works. Please don't waste your time and money going there.

There are not many middle eastern markets and fresh choice has the best prices. The highlight of the market is the bakery with a good variety of bread and treats my favorites are the sangak and spinach pies. If you come to fresh choice definitely stop by the bakery.

I called to check if they have Green sour plums and want to find out Price. The manager says yes they have them but can't tell me price over the phone. What?? Is it a secret?? Well not any more. Attached is picture with price if anyone interested. They should be more helpful when someone call for information.

Extremely rude cashiers. Prices are good however the rude cashiers impact the experience. Also, it's often super crowded on the weekends and they have a no return policy. Would not recommend.

Best Persian Iranian market in Yorba Linda and Orange County area. They have everything Persian here and it's so nice to see that. They should open a bigger Persian bakery here. A lot of Persians in the area. Should also have more Persian employees here

Wow, what a phenomenal selection of fresh fruit and vegetables at a good price. It's ethnically owned which I love and it has a lot of really cool products that are sourced from the Middle East and Asia. Personally I am very impressed with the selection of fresh food they offer... this place is better than sprouts.

Terrible customer service. Don't ask Mohammad for help, "it's not his job" to do anything. Huge chip on his shoulder and huge attitude.

This place is always super crowded. There are no carts or baskets available most times. And the aisles are so narrow that one cart block the aisles. They have some pretty cool items you can't find elsewhere easily. The fruit and vegetables are cheap but a lot of times poor quality. And the lines are super long. I've tried to stop here multiple times when I needed a few things here and there but I always regret it. I'll be taking a break for a while.

I really like this market for its produce department and it's hard to find spices. The prices of the produce is reasonably priced. Great deals. They have a nut section with a variety of nuts and a nice bakery. I don't eat meat but there is a meat department. I saw fresh garbanzo beans. Need I say more? I came here looking for burro bananas. They didn't have them but I found other fruits and veggies. Nice neighborhood market.

Nice middle eastern grocery store with great selection of baked goods. Fresh pita is so good. Really enjoyed the different baklava. Place is very clean. Staff is helpful.

I must say, I am completely unsatisfied with their customer service and management. I have bought several products such as cheese and butter and yogurt ect. When i got home i noticed it was expired. I came back the next day to exchange it and they wouldn't do it for me even with my receipt. I definitely will take my shopping elsewhere where they appreciate their customers satisfaction.

I noticed a woman there who was becoming wrongfully impatient with the cashiers, and left what I thought was an implicitly racist comment on here a little bit ago. I just wanted to hop on and say that the staff here are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Please don't listen to those who aren't mindful of cultural differences! You guys are great!

good place very good meat. love the atmosphere. questionable bathroom tbh. Staff are nice so is the service. Indomie section best. I came all the way from sharm el sheikh Egypt just for this. I can't believe there aren't more stores like this. I would recommend like 10/10 so if anybody especially from Texas wants to come here have a fun time.

I had a disappointing experience at this grocery store due to the rude behavior of the manager, Carmil. She exhibited a bad attitude and lacked professionalism. She's Absolutely rude and thinks she owns the place with big words ! Plus look wise doesn't represent a manger Additionally, the other manager's limited English proficiency led to misunderstandings, resulting in unnecessary frustration for customers. It's crucial for the management to address these issues to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for all patrons. Very sad how the owners run their business by having really bad management!

I always stop in when I'm in town, I adore this place!!! My favorite is the sauces in the cold section where the premade garlic sauce and hummus are found, yummmmmmmmy

I love this place. Sure, it's incredibly cramped if there's more than ten people shopping at a time. Yes, there are so many different interesting foods that you end up buying twice as much as you planned. This latter point is not a bad thing. How else will you discover you love coffee with cardamom, and buffalo cheese imported from Egypt, and saffron ice cream??? Go, wander the aisles, try some new flavors. Your taste buds will enjoy the adventure. (Your pocket book will too. Meat prices here are competitive with the major chains, and it looks fresher as well.) Pro tip: the checkouts have one combined line that stretches back along the upright refrigerated cases. Don't be a noob and try to walk straight up to a register. Nobody will like you for it. Nobody will hate you either, because everyone does it on their first visit here, but now I've saved you the embarrassment.

Very rude and inconsiderate staff especially the new manager Marcos. Older cashiers are nice but they've some new staff who are very rude. I've been coming here since I moved to the area and always had great experience but lately it's been horrible. I guess it's the problem of shortage of staff which everyone has been dealing with. There was a guy name George before who was extremely efficient and helpful and also a cashier name Erika. Now this new staff is just rude and have weird attitude. Seems like they're agitated all the time, they seem racist and unhelpful. I'm sure the owners are nice as I've heard good things about them but they should focus a bit on taking care of the people who come to their store. We are all human beings and we should all treat each other with respect.

I hate this place, management has zero vision. Always a line to check out, never using all checkout lanes at the same time. You have a lot of customers, capitalize on that?? 5-7pm, 10 items max, have all lanes open. Whatever, do something before we're all gone...

Not fresh produce all the time! Missing price tag or wrong price and not enough help when you needed in produce department.

If you want to order anything, the wait they'll say is about 15min. Be prepared to wait 45min to an HOUR. After you get your hot and ready food, it's gonna take 2 days for you check out because of how lazy, disrespectful, incompetent, and out right unprofessional the employees are. The customers are not priority here, it's the comfort of the employees.

I bought 2 pieces salmon steak. They were looking good on display. But Store worker intentionally gave me 2 pieces salmon from behind which I was not able to see them. When I arrived home and opened the bag and He put stinky fish in the bag. Why ? I will complain them

This store was hidden but it a Jem. If you need something special like Plantains for your Mole sauce this is the place to go.

I can't complain much because the prices keep me coming back. Yes, they don't have carts for you next to the entrance (they are left where you put carts back in the parking lot). Yes, the parking lot can get crowded (but not as much closer to closing). Yes, there are a ton of people especially around the sale items.. BUT I love Califia almond milk and they have it on sale for 2.99 sometimes like this week. My favorite hummus of all time Lantana is less than 3 dollars when it is 5-6 elsewhere. Most fruits are 2 lbs 99 cents even when its not listed on the flier. Fresh herbs, bulk daal, raw almonds, peanuts, the whole gamut is here at an affordable price. There is a wide variety of produce and I'll admit that sometimes the fruit isn't the prettiest or freshest. Sometimes I have to pick through if I want to find an apple without ANY imperfections. Sometimes I feel like I've found a gold mine, because their cheap produce can be organic. A couple of weeks ago Fuji apples were 50 cents a lb and I went and they were all fresh and beautiful and organic. It's not advertised as organic but it was. Then I went later in the week, and they replenished the stock with non-organic and mixed in was the older stock of organic apples. This week, some of their 33 cent bell peppers were organic too. They have a bakery with fresh baked items. All I know is that I'll be coming back! The cashiers are mostly friendly as well. FYI Yelp states the market closes at 10 pm, but last night they announced that they closed at 9 pm.

I was a little sad when I heard Harvest Fresh closed down, but I was excited to see a market taking over the space. Fresh Choice Marketplace price point is lower than Harvest Fresh. The supermarket was fully stocked, to the point of overstocking LOL You can get fresh pistachio, fresh olive and even lamb head. The supermarket has halal meat section, produce section, nuts by the pound and bakery section. The nice guy at the bakery gave us cookie samples. Thank you! They also have Turkish delight at the bakery. 4 stars!!

Super Awesome that we have a near by international place to pick up groceries you cant often find. I just wish it was much bigger as the isles are very small to push a cart through.
