Fresh Corn Grill in Westwood has a nice, casual atmosphere and a solid menu, but my experience was a bit mixed. The food is fresh, and the portions are decent, but the flavors didn’t quite stand out. I tried the grilled salmon bowl, which was good but not particularly memorable. The corn salad was fresh and sweet, but the seasoning could have been better. Service was friendly but slow during my visit, even though it wasn’t very busy. Prices are reasonable for the area, but for the same cost, there are other spots nearby that offer more flavorful options. Overall, it’s an okay choice if you’re looking for a light, healthy meal, but nothing extraordinary.

I am so bummed that I did not try this place sooner. We stopped in for our first time last night for dinner and both were very impressed. It’s basically like a better version of Tender Greens with better quality ingredients and more options. They have a large parking lot in back although it is fairly easy to find metered street parking right out front. We decided to order to go and all of our items were ready in about 15 minutes. The staff was also very polite and checked in on us many times while we waited. Inside is very large with many different seating options and they also have outdoor seating right out front. Definitely the sort of place that would be easy to dine in or takeout, we saw many people doing both. For dinner I chose the Steak Plate and loved it. I got the purple mash on the side and it was incredibly delicious. The brussels sprouts are also a great side, but the purple mash was especially a hit. The steak was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce that came with it really added to the flavor. I also ordered a half order of the Beet Salad and thought it was fantastic. It comes with a lot of beets and cheese and is one of the better versions I’ve had recently. The half size portions are very large, so only order a full portion if you are very hungry and you’re only going to be eating that. Their iced tea is also very good and homemade and as a huge iced tea fan, I get it often and I can say this is one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. Overall a fantastic lunch or dinner option with fair pricing, large portions, and great food. I definitely would recommend to anyone in the area and I plan to be back many times in the future.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The BEST Oreo Cheesecake in LA — Hidden Gem at Fresh Corn Grill I came to Fresh Corn Grill on Westwood Blvd expecting a solid, casual meal — but I did not expect to find the best Oreo cheesecake I’ve ever had. Seriously, it blows every bakery in the area out of the water. It’s creamy, rich, not too sweet, and has the perfect Oreo crust with just the right amount of crunch. The texture is exactly what cheesecake should be...smooth and velvety without being overly dense. The Oreo flavor isn’t just sprinkled on top, it’s baked in deep and balanced all the way through. Whoever is making this dessert deserves a medal. If you’re even remotely a fan of cheesecake or Oreos, do yourself a favor and get a slice. It’s a hidden gem you wouldn’t expect from a place known more for fresh salads and grilled plates but trust me, it’s worth the trip for the cheesecake alone. Come for the healthy eats, stay for the Oreo cheesecake that puts bakeries to shame. 🍰🔥

The food was just okay. I ordered a salad and added chicken for protein. The salad was okay, dressing made it better, but the chicken on the other hand was not good. It was bland and dry and I couldn't finish it. I was surprised considering this place is popular.

The service is ok but it was at lunch rush. The food was good and healthy. I wish they were organized with the ordering process. Overall the atmosphere was good. Great place to eat but hard to find parking. Get here early before the lunch rush so you can get a seat to eat. Happy eating.

All veggies items are best. Just order the sides instead of salads and you will love it. Best crispy banana pudding . Brussels sprouts and corn sides are best. Raspberry Lemonade very good too.! 👍

Friend introduced us to this spot near her place. We walked in and ordered at the counter then grabbed a table. Autumn bowl +salmon: veggies were nicely roasted, grilled corn was very good too. Could have skipped on the salmon and brown rice. Tacos: kids loved the carne. Hubby enjoyed the shrimp. Eggplant side was excellent. Corn chowder: very liquid, not thick at all which is surprising since it's a chowder. Flavor was ok. Would skip this. Looking forward going back again!

There is nothing like the Fresh Corn Grill Cajun sauce. I would pay a lot of money for the recipe. Beyond that, everything here is phenomenal. Perfectly cooked salmon, chicken, and steak. Perfectly grilled vegetables. My favorites are the asparagus and roasted potatoes. I will say it's pricey but worth it for the quality. Service is always great and the restaurant has plenty of seating. Takeout is also always great.

Pleasant surprise! In the mood for something healthy and a chunk of salmon, but not a white tablecloth environment. This fit the bill nicely Service is prompt, friendly, and the restaurant is modern and clean . The pepperoni pizza (for the kid in the group) was average, but he enjoyed it. Ordered the fresh corn grill house salad with a piece of salmon. We substituted the oregano dressing which was better than the house dressing. Salads are large and could be shared. Full of fresh greens, beans, avocado, some grilled corn, and plenty of grilled zucchini. Would have expected more corn, considering the name of the restaurant Sufficient parking is located behind the building.

WHAT HAPPENED TO FRESH CORN GRILL? Man, I am so bummed to be writing this. My husband and I loved this place. Thought it was weird when we arrived on a Friday night at 7:30 PM and there was only one couple eating at a booth. This place used to be PACKED at this time. I guess we didn't get the memo that this place has gone down? We got our standard bowls which we have gotten several times before. "FRESH CORN VEGETABLE BOWL GF" Corn, zucchini, asparagus, and scallions over basmati or wild brown rice." DO NOT get this unless you are prepared to have 90% of the vegetables be zucchini. I mean we literally each got a few tiny smidgen of corn and a few tiny cuts of asparagus spear. The rest was all zucchini. Added chicken. Was very bland despite adding Asian sauce. Got "FRESH SQUEEZED LEMONADE" - this was 100% lemonade concentrate - I mean like Crystal Light type. I'm so bummed I wasted $4.95 on this. I would have much rather had water with a slice of lemon for FREE, and it would have tasted much better. We got a SIDE of BRUSSELS SPROUTS, they had a very strong fish like taste. They must have cooked some salmon in a pan and then thrown them in there without washing pan. Disgusting. Could not even finish half of them and I am not one to leave vegetables uneaten! We definitely won't be back here. Will give 3 stars as the server was nice and the portions were big, but for $60, we both walked out of there feeling nauseous from all the zucchini & completed grossed out by the fishy tasting Brussels sprouts.

I ordered the spaghetti and meatball with a side of butternut squash. My first impression was that the portion sizes were big which was great because I would hate to leave a place still hungry. The meatballs were yummy and the bread slices at the side was a nice touch to scoop the sauce. The workers work quick so it did not take long for the food to come out

I like fresh corn grill. It is solid with consistently good food until today This review is on their broccoli soup only. It is overly peppered. Like ridiculous overly peppered and it is also overly salted. Maybe the person that prepared this has no taste buds. Either way- it is the WORST soup I ever tasted. It is so way off balance that I feel duped and violated Do yourself a favor and do not get this soup

I came here last week on my lunch break with my work bestie. Man oh man, I had high hopes. The menu looked good and the ambiance looked promising. Because of the lunch rush, there was a line at the cashier. It took maybe 10 mins to order, and another 15 mins to get our food to-go. Honestly it wasn't that packed in the restaurant, but I digress. We snuck in a couple bites before we had to head back. It was pretty good, not gonna lie. The taquitos were good, but the rice and beans could've been seasoned better. My coworker's pasta was BOMB. Next time we'll order ahead for pickup and eat in the restaurant to save time.

This is really more of an average 3.5 but felt strong enough about my experience to want to leave a review. 2/5 Service - We went here Sunday night, group of four people and the person at the register was rude and rushing us for no reason which I didn't appreciate. The restaurant was not busy and no one waiting behind us so didn't justify the impatience. Super rude with the drinks too, not sure for what reason? Is it bad to ask for a glass of water? Not a one star because the folks serving us the food were nice. 4/5 Value - good fast casual option, a tasty alternative to Tender Greens and much better than the newer Urban Plates franchise. 5/5 Food - my highlight were the many sides to pick from! Roasted corn side is the best don't skip! It is called fresh corn grill after all! Not particularly as good as it used to be back in its old location to a few years back but would come back again. Hope the guy at the register is nicer next time!

Picked this place on a whim on my first night of vacation here. Definitely was not disappointed! Both kids got spaghetti and meatballs and both loved it. The meatballs tasted very fresh and were pretty mildly seasoned, which was nice for kids. The sauce was tasty and fresh as well. The skirt steak was full of flavor and grilled perfectly, as was the asparagus. The potatoes had good flavor as well with fresh rosemary and other herbs. I'm in town for a few days and can see myself eating here again even with the endless supply of eateries nearby!

Tasty tacos! Meats include whitefish, shrimp, chicken, and carne asada. Lots of veggie sides like squash, asparagus, and yams to complement your wholesome meal. Order at the counter and they will bring your meal to you.

Unbelievable turkey meatloaf!!! Wow!!! I just can't believe how good it is. Honestly, I've never actually ordered anything from here. That was bad. Their sides are amazing. You just feel like you had a home-cooked meal.

The quality of the food is very good and the prices are pretty reasonable. We have had their salmon plates with veggies multiple times and always enjoy them. Service is prompt and the atmosphere is very good. Relaxed and casual. Enjoy!

So impressed with this place! I ordered the vegetable corn bowl but added steak and it's ~$21 but the portion is huge. There's parking in the back which is a huge plus for anywhere in Westwood and the inside is clean, well run and has tons of spots to sit. They also bus the tables which is nice. The bowl itself had such a good balance of zucchini, corn, rice and meat. Definitely a new staple go-to restaurant for me!

Love this place for a healthy meal! Some favorites are the taco plates and the fresh corn veggie bowl. All of the sides I've tried are great and also love the soups.

I live in West Hollywood around the corner from that store. Thanks to the miracle of the Toast app I accidentally ordered from this store. I mean silly me. Thinking that the app could suss out the difference between 600' and 6 miles I didn't bother to check that it was the right location So I called them and they were most understanding as it happens and they credited my card. While I've never dined that this particular location I'm sure it's just as good. Fave dishes:: grilled salmon, turkey meatloaf, turkey lasagna (be patient for that one since it's made for order) and spaghetti squash

It's a solid spot for healthy, tasty food. The portions are super big, whether you get a salad or a taco bowl or pasta, so come hungry! You order at the counter and then seat yourselves, so it helps if you've seen the menu before you get there because there's a lot to choose from. We had a group and ordered the kids' spaghetti and meatballs, a cobb salad, and a steak taco bowl. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and we were all super stuffed by the end. I could not finish my taco bowl, and I was surprised at how much meat they put in it (usually places hide meat with lettuce or beans or whatever). So, the price matches what you get. Anyway, the service is good. The counter staff were friendly enough, though it was tough to get help once we were seated. We struggled to get refills on water and extra napkins and other basics that are often refilled when you have table service. The ambiance is casual and inviting. You can people watch folks walking by on Westwood. There is even a small outdoor patio. There are also a variety of seating options like booths, regular tables and high tops. The bathrooms require a code, so get that from the register. Parking is rough in the area, but FCG is one of the spots where you can park in that cvs lot behind it (with valet). If you're lucky, you might find a meter.

This is a great restaurant in a not-so-easy-to-access area. It's on Westwood Blvd, just south of Wilshire Blvd. Parking is restrictive, expensive, and hard to find. I like to go off-hours, like after rush hour on weekdays, or lunch on weekends. You can also order through services like Door Dash or Uber Eats, and I've done that on weeknights. I needed to preface this review with the accessibility because that area is rough to access and discouraging when you just want to grab a quick bite. However, the food is really worth the effort! The protein offerings, especially the chicken breast and the skirt steak, are exceptional--just the right amount. The sides are also a cut above. You can't go wrong with the Grilled Chicken, Skirt Steak, or Salmon as your protein. The side dishes are exceptional! The Sautéed mushrooms are perfect for the skirt steak. The Glazed Yams are more like a dessert because the glaze is syrupy, like you'd expect in a dessert rather than a side dish. However, still solid and I highly recommend it, just know that you're getting a dessert more than a side dish. The Black Beans were well seasons and nicely finished. I'd get them again for sure. The salmon I had was cooked through, like a medium to medium well. The quality of the salmon was first rate. I could tell it was fresh. The interior space is also nice, but there's a lot of activity outside, including major renovations next door. Once in side, you feel like you're in a nice space though. This is a great lunch or dinner option with healthy food that has been carefully thought out and prepared.

Juvenile the manager is excellent and has good manners.My favorite turkey meatloaf was a bit too salty but the soup Is always excellent .The staff needs to improve in customer service.

It's been a few years since eating at Fresh Corn Grill. We had the Fresh corn salad. It is as good as it was years ago! Portion and quality as it was before! Friendly and helpful staff . I loved sitting outside at the patio and smelling jasmine all around us. Be back soon!

The pasta is great but everything else unfortunately lacks flavor. The workers are great and your food comes out at a decent amount of time.

For a delicious meal I loved this spot on Westwood I'll definitely be visiting more often. There's indoor and outdoor seating with a patio along the street. Both dishes ordered I would highly recommend to anyone, first the Fresh Corn Grilled Salad was a huggeee mound of greens LOVE THAT! It's packed with quality ingredients like grilled asparagus, avocado, tomatoes, zucchini and more. I appreciated that the salad wasn't drenched in their vinaigrette. It had just the right amount tossed in, so I could still taste the charred veggies and mixed greens. Next the Grilled Vegetable Pasta with added Skirt Steak ($5+) was served piping hot. Similar ingredients to the salad, just cooked down-- all veggies included was fork tender (my fav was asparagus and zucchini). The marinara was savory and sweet from the garlicky tomatoes. Penne pasta cooked to al dente and evenly coated with marinara. On top, laid a pile of grilled steak with delicious charring flavor and tenderness. On the sides, there were slices of toasted baguette soft enough so you could wipe up the remaining pasta sauce from your plate. Aside from their food, staff were very kind and patient. The bathroom was clean and the mirror lighting was gorgeous. Parking can be found in the back lot of the restaurant. My next visit to UCLA I'll be back to try more :)

By far one of my favorite lunch spots in the Westwood area. Their salmon tacos are my favorite! Food is filling and flavorful, portions are generous. Ambiance is mellow and relaxed with great customer service.

Fresh Corn Grill is a west side staple -- my go to restaurant for healthy, fresh, and tasty food. I highly recommend the salmon plate, steak plate, sundried tomato pasta, and the chicken enchiladas. The best sides are grilled corn, grilled asparagus, glazed yams, and roasted brussels sprouts! If you're dining in, they have a great IPA from Highland Park Brewery. Take out is always quick and easy, too.

I love the menu at Fresh Corn Grill. Unfortunately, the salads that were once filled with yummy ingredients are now sparse which is also true for meat loaf and other items. The only thing that has increased is the price. Seems like new owners.

The "corn chowder" isn't corn chowder.. it's watery liquid and barely passes for soup let alone chowder. Do not order the corn chowder! It's terrible. Super disappointing.

A wow. We order butternut squash soup and fresh corn chowder. Cobb Salad and Southwestern salad. Delicious! Lemonade is great! The service is excellent. Environment is really comfortable.

I used to live in LA and eat here all the time. Then, I moved to Orange County and got married. One of the biggest mistakes I made was bringing my wife to try this place with me. Ever since that day, it's been mandatory that I bring her here at least once a month. She will make random reasons and excuses why we need to go to LA, just so we can eat here. Not gonna lie, though, the food is amazing & worth the drive!

As 2022's third Mercury Retrograde wanes it was only fitting to order once again a fave meal from Fresh Corn Grill - Marghertia pizza - fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil all atop a both chewy yet crispy dough base with just a dusting of cornmeal beneath. I either order on line or call it in (delivery available) but hubby, who's old school, prefers to appear in person, place an order, sip a beer while he waits. His "me" time perhaps? And so he volunteered to pick up dinner. Wasn't long before we enjoyed Fresh Corn Grill's Marghertia pizza and my DIY salad (would have ordered one but greens in the crisper were approaching their shelf life). Just as we remembered it, not too salty, plenty of gooey cheese, just the right amount of fresh basil and tomatoes, all marks of consistency customers require from restaurants they frequent. Just as we remembered it too seven years ago. Fresh Corn Grill was where we invited our wedding party guests to join us for pizza, salad and vino. Hey, when it's your second and his third think small, city hall, a few friends. Fresh Corn Grill's management graciously welcomed our tiny party to party, allowing friends to push a few tables together, decorate, celebrate. A fine time was had by all. Every time we order Fresh Corn Grill's Marghertia pizza it's our wedding day all over again...

I came here for lunch the other day with my boyfriend. You order at the front and get a number, then they bring you the food to your table. The ambiance is nice, especially if you sit outside like we did. The service was pretty quick as well, especially for how busy it was. The menu is quite pricy for lunch, and the food was good, not great. The soup needed a lot of salt and pepper and was very bland. The food definitely tasted fresh, though! Overall, I would be willing to come back, I just won't be RAVING about it to all my friends.

I've ordered several times from Fresh Corn Grill, with different results each time. The first time I ordered, everything was fantastic. The salmon plate with glazed yams and glazed carrots was delicious. The yams were juicy and swimming in sauce (glaze). The second time, however, the yams were dried out with barely a tasting spoonful of glaze. Needless to say, unlike the first time, I did not finish them the second time. The real treat here, however, is the bread pudding. At $9, I debated whether it was worth it but decided to take the chance. $9 seems expensive but, when it arrived, I understood why. They give you not one, but two slices of bread pudding, and each is already rather large. And it's quite addictive. In fact, it's the bread pudding that keeps me coming back to this restaurant.

This is a solid establishment. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food i chose, Grilled Whitefish with eggplant and brussels sprouts, was on point. It was seemingly fresh, well seasoned (without overdoing it), and provided in a decent time frame. We were in a larger group (about 12) which was great they accommodated our group. I would solidly recommend this restaurant and would give it 3 1/2 stars (but i couldn't do it on the graphic above).

I love this place. I wish I lived closer. So many protein and veggie options and you get to pick and choose and customize your meal. I truly wish their were more places like this around. Some of my favorites include the salmon, the verde enchiladas, their shrimp, southwestern chicken salad, and meatloaf. All the veggies are awesome as sides but I do love the kale!! Love all of their soups as well and the bread that comes with it is delicious.

First time coming to this FCG in Westwood. I usually go to the one in WeHo. Great 1st time experience overall. Both WeHo and Westwood locations are amazing. The food is so DELICIOUS! I always get chicken or steak, spaghetti squash, yams, with Cajun sauce. The Cajun sauce...the best! Their food here is amazing! Can never go wrong with the food here. There is a cute outdoor seating so I decided to eat out here. Got to enjoy the view of Westwood Blvd while eating. Fresh Corn Grill in WeHo and Westwood...

I've always driven by here but the branding never brought me in. During lunch traffic hour it was a blessing to get out of the jam and be able to park and eat. The dishes are all about $20 which isn't bad for LA and they are all very family dinner sized plates that fill you up. The quality and sides are exceptional as well as the choice of entrees. This is a little pricier than what I'd recommend for 5 stars but the plates are hearty and well executed and you get your moneys worth! I would've taken a picture but it was so good I ate it too fast!

FRESH, and Tasty is the best way to describe this delicious spot in Westwood. The Veggie Bowl was filled with basmati rice, zucchini, asparagus, corn and grilled chicken. First of all it huge and filling. Most places sort of "short change" you when you order to-go, but not FCG! *dig the nickname! They have great parking in the back, and good food inside. They have an extensive menu, of which I have tried about 40% of. Guess I have to go back for the 60% before the year ends.

Ordered door dash and they messed up again. I called and asked for the correct item and then she put whatever she wanted plus she's very rude. I don't understand them. What a mess.

Not a cheap eat, but the food is indeed fresh as advertised. Pretty healthy fare that doesn't sacrifice taste. I love that they also offer wine and beer. Staff is great. Spencer is a homie and a WeHo legend. Don't sleep on the caprese pasta, it's delicious!

Wow! Best of the BEST! My son and I love their food!!!! Sooooooooooooo GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their pizzas are soooooooooooo good!! I love their cheese and shrimp pizzas! AMAZING FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would love to give an accurate review on all this food. However, it was ice cold and only took 2 hours to get to us. We ordered a variety of options (see photos) just for two. We like to sample and try a couple options. But with the condensation built up from being hot and so cold. The guacamole even turned before arrival. As I know they didn't pack it that pretty. Anyway- a couple cheap plates, a microwave... we ate it at its finest. Side note- I'm sure it's really good if hot. Will definitely have to give it a go again. Cheers.

Very good food! Got the roots and kale bowl with tofu. $19 before tip. Gave lots of tofu! The sauce (miso ginger) wasn't very good in my opinion so I'd recommend getting it on the side and tasting before you dowse your meal. Fairly quick service. Nice outdoor seating. Good parking in neighborhoods nearby.

I normally love Fresh Corn Grill. I started ordering from the Westwood location, even though I live closer to the West Hollywood one after West Hollywood put raw steak in my salad. I thought Westwood would be better but yesterday I received some weird slimy substance in my soup that has never been there before. I would just be a little wary eating at either location because food safety doesn't seem to be top priority.

Last week I stopped in for a meal before a show at the theater. I'm a big fan of their salmon and taquitos but this night I had the Cajun shrimp pizza. It was delicious. You can tell everything is fresh and made to order. Their prices are reasonable. And the staff is very friendly.

I'm kind of obsessed with the Cobb salad. I will often add shrimp to it. It's pretty big. Sometimes I'll share it with someone or eat half and eat the other half later. I haven't tried anything here I don't like. Their sun dried tomato pasta is so good. The bread it comes with is always delicious. I also like the bowls and the plates that come with a protein and sides. I usually get corn as a side for sure...it's so good!!! My favorite sauce is the lime and herbs, but my husband and really likes the curry one. I like their salmon tacos too, but they are kind of messy and hard to eat so I don't get them too often. Their corn chowder and corn/vegetable soup is good too, if you're craving some soup. I basically have nothing negative to say about this place. I almost exclusively get it as take out and have only eaten there once or twice.
