I was surprised to be the only diner on the evening I visited. The restaurant is in a large shopping center near busy roads and there were lots of vehicles parked in the shared lot in front. The staff greeted me as soon as I entered the clean well-lit dining room. Ordering is done at the counter so you can watch your meal being made, similar to a sandwich shop. Some outdoor patio tables as well as the spacious indoor area, but outdoors seemed noisy and not as comfortable so I stayed inside.
I chose the Garlic Butter Shrimp Bowl with soy ginger sauce. The food was prepared quickly including fresh grilled shrimp. I was impressed by the staff's enthusiasm and knowledge about ingredients. While I ate, two separate people came in just to look around and staff gave them both the whole spiel about gluten-free, locally produced, fresh food and little if any salt sugar or other unhealthy stuff. One can build their own bowl or pick from a menu, there are twelve sauces made in house, and desserts that I did not sample this visit.
My food was delicious. Lots of fresh vegetables: carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, onion, corn with the hot shrimp on a base of warm white rice. The sauce really pulled it together too. I am already looking forward to my next meal there.
