Fresh Pond Beer Garden

Such a nice and convenient spot to hang out in the neighborhood after work. Good selections of local beer and some west coast beer too. Spacious seating area, music, and they even have free WiFi. If you go earlier, it’s nice and quiet and is a great way to wrap up some work with a beer. They have live music and sometimes events on weekends. Plus, they open late. Please keep it open for a longer time!

The Cambridge Smoke food was very delicious! The Honey Old Bay wings, Teriyaki wings, mac and cheese (y'all have to try it), fried haddock and French fries were so good I had another order to go! This food is cooked with love ❤️. I can't say enough how good it was. The drink at the beer garden, strawberry margarita was also tasty and hit the spot!

It's a great spot to stop at the end of the day and grab a beer especially on warm summer evenings. They also have several large screens to watch sports games, especially soccer. While they do not provide food, they allow people to bring their own which can be bought at the whole foods a few hundred feet away.

On Wednesdays there's a food truck doing bbq. Smelled gig enough. Ordered wings amd and fried chicken with slaw and corn bread. Pretty bad. Wings were spicy, sure, but slaw was warm, chicken was WAY salty and tasteless, corn bread was low a microwave lil tv dinner biscuit. Disappointed to say the least. Oh,.. "$50 please.." really? 25 each. 25 for wings? Oh I'll take whatever you have.. (I'm holding cash).. Ok! Gave the 41 i had. Still way overpriced... As i tossed the entire meal.

Excellent location. Great food truck options. Perfect for hanging out with friends and family. Puppy friendly.

Great drink selection although I was more there for the music that a friend booked an event there for. It was raining and it’s outdoors but they were very prepared with tents and umbrellas covering me for most of the time. The people are laid back and generous and kind. Overall the vibes are great and will be going back soon I hope

A fun addition to the neighborhood! There’s something for everyone on the drink menu. The location is great, close to Danehy Park and Fresh Pond.

Great place to gather and spend an evening with friends or colleagues. Bring your own food or order take out/delivery from local restaurants. It is outside and quite delightful. Price of tapped beers can't be beat. Sip and enjoy!

Parking lot beer garden , good location wholes food is right around the corner . I stop by wholes food for a Greek salad, ice cream and cheese plate . I brought it with me and order the passion fruit mule. I ate an olive and drank my mule and it hit the a spot. The staff there are friendly and plenty of seating . You can hear the airplane above you and their music playing in the background. Cool and chill place

Great Play to watch a sporting event. Wonderful outdoor patio, beer garden, sports TVs all over the place.

More like a tent in a parking lot. It was empty when I went. It might be more fun in a group or during an event, or before/after a movie at Apple Cinema nearby.

I've been here a few times over the last few years. The beer list is very generic and it has as much vibe as it can have for being in the middle of a parking lot by a train track, but it's convenient when you've been out on your bike and want a break. They were advertising $5 drinks online and in these flyers posted around. When it came time to pay, lo and behold, not one of our drinks was $5. The server couldn't wait to not explain why. Seems only Bud Light was on special, but they conveniently won't tell you this until you question the bill. They were selling this as a holiday special event- I see it as a bait and switch, bad business. I will be skipping this place from now on.

Location and set up are great. Went on a hot day and with the breeze and cover, wasn't at all uncomfortable. Staff is great, variety of drinks, and plenty of lawn games.

Stopped in here for a quick beer. Although it's basically in a parking lot, it's a pretty cool place that seemed new. There were a good amount of beers and ciders, but I wouldn't say the selection is that large. There isn't much in terms of food. I think the place could improve on that front. Also the only restrooms available are portable. Aside from these minor critiques, it's a cool spot to get a quick casual drink. They also have mega jenga, corn hole, and other games. There aren't a ton of bars in the immediate area, so definitely check it out if you're in the mood for a quick drink.

The Fresh Pond Beer Garden is a new addition to the Fresh Pond Mall in Cambridge. It is setup in the parking lot space in front of the movie theatre. There still is plenty of free parking here, since the lot was never full. The beer garden has a lot of options for both draft and canned beer. They also have hard seltzer, cider, wine, and cocktails. It's a great spot on a nice summer day. There is some room for improvement here, though. The toilets are only portable toilets and not full restrooms. Having food trucks on site more often would also be good.

Enjoyed the beer garden and the entertainment! Love acoustic! Beer was cold. No food trucks when I was there but having some food/snacks would be great! Ample parking and the location is a little sketchy for nighttime. Homeless peeps and the railroad tracks.

After passing this spot in the Fresh Pond Mall parking lot (around the corner from Staples) I finally stopped in a few days ago for a beer. Glad I did because the weather will be getting cooler and they said they will be closing for the season soon. (maybe after this weekend?). They don't have outdoor heaters, so I can see that the weather could become a problem before too long. But on warm and sunny days it was busy. Seems like a fun place to get a drink before going to the movies at the theater just a few steps away. Hope they come back next summer!!
