Fresh Stack Burger

Although the menu is more limited than the original in Kildeer, since it is located inside a Whole Foods (eg no onion strings and no shakes); the quality is still there!! I got a chicken sandwich (spicy) this time and it was excellent as expected. Juicy, salty and super crunchy. The sauce and pickle compliment the chicken patty coupled with truffle string fries. Lastly, one thing that was missing was the awesome spicy condiment dipping sauces (Yellowbird) offered in the Kildeer site. Its worth a visit if you are in the area in that North burb.

Went there with my family and it was a disappointing waste of money. Skinny French Fries should be called French Sticks for how hard they were. Bacon Cheeseburger was so bad too. The bacon was super hard and the sauce was gross. Spicy chicken sandwich was OK, but the avocado chicken was so tough like a shoe. Onion strips went straight in the garbage. One thing that was good were the chicken tenders. Never again. Such a disappointment comparing to the Burgers served by WFM prior to this.

We had the classic burger and the big flock, they were delicious! Great size portions for the price, especially considering todays cost of goods. The fries are nice and crunchy with a great taste. Definitely will go back while shopping, or maybe even on a hungover morning haha

Great burger! Bigger and thicker than all the other gourmet burger chains, and the veggies are fresh! But, way, way too much salt on the french fries! Next time I will order them easy salt or maybe no salt.

These burgers are so good, definitely don't miss out on the fries. The staff was really nice and explained the menu really well since it was my first time checking it out. Can't wait to check out the chicken sandwich next time!

I'm pescetarian (only fish and seafood for me) so luckily they have a plant-based option. I must say, I was exicted when I heard the grandson of Wendy's founder was adding a 'fresh spin' on kiosk dining with a veggie burger, but I was NOT expecting this deliciousness! The worker David was super friendly, and even recommended cooking the burger a certain way to obtain OPTIMUM crispyness! The fries were hot, the aioli sauce is delicious, and I was pleasantly surpised at my experience. Thanks David, I'll be back, and thanks Fresh Stack!

Got the bacon cheeseburger with truffle fries. Bacon was completely charred. Burger was not far behind. Truffle fries tasted like unsalted French fries. Complete waste of money. Mcdonalds would have been a better option for alot less money.

Delicious food made fresh. I’m a burger guy and you can’t go wrong with a double stack, but their fried chicken is something else, definitely recommend the Deep South with made from scratch sriracha ranch.

READY TO ROLL I'm so excited for Fresh Stack Burger which has opened their second location in the Whole Foods on Kingsbury. These burgers are stacked and they are ready to roll. I also love that I don't have to drive out to their first location in Kildeer, IL to enjoy one of their burgers. I'm a Chicago guy and you often don't find me in the burbs. Trust me when I say that it's worth the drive but now it's only a block away. I like that a lot. Fresh Stack was started by Sean Thomas who happens to be Dave Thomas's grandson. He's royalty when it comes to burgers. His grandfather started Wendy's and he worked for his grandfather. His DNA bleeds burgers. I'm so excited that he's building on his family legacy. His grandfather would be very proud of him. We ordered the double stack with cheese, grilled onions and pickles. I forgot to add lettuce and tomato in all of the excitement. I must admit I was a little nervous ordering my burger from Sean. Yes I know him but it doesn't change my feelings. He's the man when it comes to burgers. I also recommend their shakes(coming soon), fries and onion straws. The onion straws are my favorite. It's actually a recipe from Fabio Viviani who is also a partner. These onion straws will rock you. The flavor profiles here are off the charts. My wife ordered their Deep South chicken sandwich. It's there hot Nashville Crispy Fried Chicken with Sriracha Aioli & Pickles on Brioche Bun. She nicely gave me a bite and I was in love. The chicken sandwich rocks here. It's spicy, moist and crunchy. It has everything you want in a chicken sandwich. I'm sure Popeye is not happy about this. The Whole Foods location is unique. Once you order your food you can take it home to eat or enjoy it in the store. There's a second floor balcony overlooking the store or you can eat it on the patio overlooking the Chicago river. The food here has great views of the city. Cheers to Fresh Stack and doubling down in Chicago. You have a fantastic burger and Chicago is going to love your flavors. Everyone thinks that we are a pizza town but let's not forget where the McDonalds burger franchise started. Burgers are stiff competition in this town. Fresh Stack you're winning the war.

Located inside the Whole foods and got the farm burger, bacon cheese burger and fried onions. Let's just say it's a royal disappointment. It's thick burger that is very dry and not flavorful. The fried onions were too salty. Glad I had a BOGO otherwise would be utter disappointed. Will not be back.

Drove out to try this place and got there 7:15pm on a Saturday. Lady had closed the booth already when I asked even though I had made sure before online it's listed not closing until 8pm. Not trying them again.

A more condensed menu than their location in the suburbs but the same great flavor/taste (consistency is key!). Their burgers are great and the fried chicken sandwiches were surprisingly great given its a burger spot. The owner is the son of Dave Thomas who started the burger chain Wendys - did not disappoint!

The chicken sandwich was very good. The burger was oddly chewy, and while the flavor was good there were bites that were almost inedible...

Ordered the chicken sandwich and it was way over cooked, tasted burnt hair. Server ignored alarms on the fryer timer and served it burnt. Not a busy time just negligent service could stop watching TikTok's or whatever to stop to pull it out before it burnt. Sauce was good, fries very thin. No shakes at the Whole Foods location.

Went to this place cuz I saw it on tik tok and was not disappointed the big guy making my food was super friendly and helpful did the build my own option absolutely can't go wrong here I'm going to be a regular now
