No shopping carts available, rude employee when I asked for a shopping cart. Hamburger meat was brown!! I was told all of the shopping carts were being used for rearranging the store. customer service is NOT a priority at this particular store. We won’t be back!

Excellent customer service; always quick. You always have a pleasant experience and can easily find what you’re looking for. The staff always keeps the areas clean and stocked.

The Fresh Value Marketplace is not my usual grocery store; however, it is definitely worth a visit. The employees inside this particular grocery store are hands down the nicest, most congenial, and helpful people I have ever encountered. They're always so prompt and efficient in their service, and the best part about them is that you can actually see the personalities come through when they speak to you and in the way they handle themselves at work. This alone is a refreshing attribute uncommon in most stores. There are two particular items that I buy at this store only and nowhere else, and they are 12 pack cans of Pepsi products and Ramen noodles. Not only do they have the best price in both items, but they also have the biggest variety anywhere in Trussville. When you enter the store, there are bins by the door filled with dollar value items that are special deals. It would be of great interest to you to check those out as well. I'm so thankful that this grocery store is so close to my house. I appreciate the service and the low prices. If you have never ventured out into the store, I encourage you to add the Fresh Value Marketplace to your regular shopping routine

This store reminds me of my childhood small town grocery store. I shop here at least 4-5 days a week. I love the selection, prices, meats, special buys, but most importantly, the employees/Management. The owners are good people and try to bring a pleasant buying experience in today's economy.

Watch expiration dates and you'll do very well and save money, especially on Tuesdays of every week. They have lower prices on meat (and a great meat department) and many other items on Tuesday.

Prices on roast, ground chuck, steaks, and pork chops good. Good prices on Body Armor drinks too. We shop there pretty often. Egg prices dropping like everywhere else...lol

Yelp
This is a solid store. Definitely unique to the other stores in the area. I was recently here to grab a few things. Easy to get in and out . Clean store and nice inventory. Friendly staff. I've never had any issues and it's always a good shopping experience. I like their meat department! Wayyyyy better some. I'm never disappointed in their selection. Fresh Value Marketplace is a nice store worth checking out in the Trussville area.

Yelp
Another food store that I didn't know about and visited today. We were met at the door with a store worker that loaded water we were getting and that is something you don't see everyday. He also gave us information about the ads, which was informative. Told us that if there were 2 for 1 or 4 per a price items, you don't have to buy the max to get the sale price. The store was clean and uncluttered so it was easy to get around it. They have weekly ads and truckload sales as well. Lots of meat items on sale.

Yelp
Do not shop here they have a racial issue in this store. Me and my husband went to this store to get some items to cook and we ended up getting followed around like we was stealing mind you i have a whole membership at Sam's club but i wanted to try this store out for the first time.. I never felt so low but I will need for corporate to contact me and the lady's up front was very rude so. This is my experience that I went through in this store I will never come back to your store ever again.

Yelp
This place is a little "old-fashioned" but I kinda like it! It's brand new, and if you haven't been it's worth a try. I generally head straight for the meat section, the steaks are great quality at an unbeatable price. At least the prices were unbeatable last time I went. I have bought a boston butt, brisket, new york strips, and t-bones. All were excellent. The people are nice like you might see at publix. (in case you didnt notice, publix has amazing customer service.) The checkout is usually pretty quick. I don't normally wait in long lines, the place is still pretty undiscovered. The price scheme is Always Low. I don't think they have alot of tricks besides keeping low overhead and taking in low profit on bulk purchases. I may be wrong, but at least I haven't seen any "tricks." Its located in Trussville, in a newly repurposed shopping center formerly belonging to Food World. (Yes, Trussville bought the building to prevent Americas Thrift Store from moving in) Trussville didn't want a thrift store. They don't have bars, they don't want pit pulls in town, they don't have any cash advance stores, don't be surprised they didnt want a store that sells lots of used items. (You can get used items at the antique store in trussville.) I like thrift stores, but I'm glad that its a grocery store instead. I don't normally buy all of my groceries here. But, if they maintain the price and quality of steaks, It just be enough of a "trick" to keep me shopping.

Yelp
I went in to the store 1st week of quarantine from coronavirus. I picked up some Dove body wash and went to the 15 items or less register to check out. I was on the phone with the glass company that was returning my call for a quote for my broken rear window. Cashier said hello and I say hello! I pay and the lady says Have a great day as she hands me my receipt. I put my receipt and card in my wristlet and say thank you as I grab my bag. The cashier says "So Rude". So I turn around and let he know that I said thank you before I even walked away. Not to cause a stir, I leave the store. Well I was very bothered by the experience I call the store manager and gave him Sharon's name from my receipt. He was very nonchalant abt my experience but said he would address it. He never asked my name or that he would follow up with me abt it either. So unfortunately supporting small business grocery grocery store instead of big box stores has sent me back to big box stores. I would prefer to be treated with respect as a customer since I was trying to do my part and support a small business. Thanks but no thanks

Yelp
Awesome prices, friendly service, and great meats. Never wait in line because there are plenty of cashiers. The pork chops are available several ways, center cut, thin cut, bone in , bone out and are excellent quality and the T-Bone steaks are actually a Porterhouse cut , a big Filet Mignon with a New York Strip on the other side of the T-Bone. $ 4.95 a pound that's like giving it away. Great boneless skinless chicken Brest strips too. The manager is a really nice lady always available it seems. White onions usually 75 cents a pound there cost almost three times that much at Publix. I tell everyone about the place cause I want it to do well. Its my favorite grocery store.
