"Handmade pasta, plant-based sausages, microgreens, and Eastern Shore mushrooms make this market a favorite among vegetarians. The market hosts 20 farmers and food producers Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the colorful Civic Plaza." - Vox Creative
i volunteer here so i may be biased, but i love the selection and prices. my standouts are Ben’s produce, 78 acres, keswick, the taco stand and the empanada stand but everyone is great!

This is a great farmers market if you are a Salvadoran on food stamps. Uncle Sugar’s new program to put fresh veggies in your salsa is in full effect here. And don’t get me wrong - I think it is a very positive program at many levels. But…it is not much of a farmers market for anyone else. This is a Latin American breadline dressed as a farmers market. Since your taxes are already paying for the fun, why not go to a market and spend your yuppie farmers market dollars on $8 eggs somewhere pleasant? Like Bethesda!

Produce Plus helped me a lot with not getting enough income and help me get all my vegetables that I normally would get. I appreciate you all have a blessed and wonderful day and if someone can get back in touch with me to let me know when it starts back up cause I will be back when y’all list.

Went here several times last year and it was thriving with shoppers and vendors! They had a huge selection of apples. Well, I started asking questions about each kind of apple. I love fried apples, apple pie, french apple pie and apple cobbler! I also love just eating an apple. I haven't been there this year but I plan on going soon.

It's a great little market. Two produce/fruit stands, meat/eggs/cheese, fish, baked goods, mushrooms, fermented foods, flowers!, oils, pretty much the works. In these pandemic times there's often a line to enter, but I haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes to get in.

The Wednesday farmers market is tiny (empanadas and two produce vendors) but the Saturday market is larger. I'll give it 4 stars based on the Saturday market but the weds market is just too small.

Friendly farmers, lots of options: fresh local eggs, beef, bacon, fruits & vegetables, as well as bakers, coffee folks, and artisans. A pop-up tacqueria offers authentic, delicious tacos on the spot! Really don't know what more we could ask for!

Great farmers market and they have done a fantastic job making it work during covid. The volunteers are friendly and patient in managing the line and counting the number of people allowed in the market. Excellent vendors as well (I particularly like Ravenhook Bakehouse and Country Vittles). Also have a compost collection station across the street outside Giant. Hopefully, as DC starts to reopen, you will see the return of music performers and prepared food options that existed before covid that made the market a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning.
