"There’s no better way to experience the seasons of the Mid-Atlantic than through the samples offered by local farmers and producers at the FreshFarm Dupont Circle Market. This vibrant community gathering brings together up to 50 local vendors every Sunday with their fresh bounty of produce, meats, eggs, cheeses, and more. Artisans, including local coffee roasters, brew masters, picklers, and bakers, share their specialties with warmth even in the cold winter months. Bring a reusable bag and fill it with the day’s finds, then fill yourself up with a huge pancake from S&S Maple Camp, topped with their local maple syrup."
"When I'm feeling energized and ambitious, I head over to the Dupont Circle Farmers Market to get all the goodies. From edible flowers to the freshest greens, bagel sandwiches to a new plant baby, I can find it all here."
"The Dupont Circle farmers market, one of the area’s most popular, offers something for everyone. Stop at one of the numerous farm stands to pick up herbs, vegetables, fruit, and free-range eggs. Several local creameries sell sheep and goat’s milk cheese and yogurt. Vegan soup, pancakes, wood-fired pizza, and bagels from a celebrated local deli make it a good bet for lunch. Beverage makers sell locally made cider, beer, liqueurs, and spirits during market hours, Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m." - Vox Creative

The Dupont Circle farmers' market keeps getting better and better. I've been coming here for decades, but now that they've added more booths on Massachusetts Ave, it's quite a bit bigger and even more welcoming. Not only is the produce and the prepared food selection terrific, but it's great people-watching, too! It's an international crowd - lots of embassies in the area - which makes it especially hip.

Farmers market with a variety of different vegetables and fruits stands. They do have stands from various bakeries including “call your mother”, “poupon” and many others. I tried the apple strudel from one of the stands and it was very nice. The bagels from call your mother was also divine. I also had a pastry with beef feeling from another stand and it was delicious too. The peaches and zucchini I got were also so fresh.

We stumbled across these markets while exploring parts of Washington - and were glad that we did. They were very good, offering a very wide range of fresh Produce and various Arts & Crafts. Recommended.

Great farmers market. Would recommend anyone to go and check out. So many stalls selling great fresh products, so much variety, all kinds of options. Some even giving out free samples. I especially liked the empanadas from DMV Empanadas. They labeled on the empanada itself with the type you ordered, so cool!

Great selection of produce, prepared foods, and other specialty homemade good and gifts. Granted the heat index was 100+ but you could smell fresh fruits, especially the peaches, throughout the market. Tried a tasty breakfast sandwich, interacted with vendors and sampled some of the foods. Nice one-stop shop farm market.

I love outdoor farmers markets; seeing the brightly colored produce and prepared foods. I love people watching, and this market does not disappoint with either. Why not 5 stars? Prices are ridiculously high.

First of all this is a great market and not what the one star is for. But for heaven’s sake entry with dogs has to be banned. At any given time you will run into at least a dozen of dogs, some of them huge, barking and snapping at each other and customers, obstructing the walkways, shedding and putting their paws on vendors’ tables (with uncovered food and produce!). My spouse has animal allergies and we simply can’t shop there anymore, not to mention it’s disgusting and a massive safety issue.
