Where to Eat and Drink Around Merrifield and Dunn Loring | Eater DC
"The Mosaic District farmers market has become quite the destination for prepared foods. Whether it’s a cheeseburger from DMV Empanadas, an ube tres leche cake from Toi Moi, a breakfast sandwich from Hog Haven, or a plate weighed down by dumplings from Jinland Wenhua, it’s pretty hard to leave the market hungry. Opening hours usually extend through Sunday mornings and afternoons (hours vary by season)." - Missy Frederick
Great location. A large variety of vendors. It could use more produce. I love how the 2 main streets are shut down for the vendors and there is still great parking in the lot attached to Target.
It is definitely worth adding to your adventures and shopping.

Every market here is perfect. I only had a great experience, but please I beg you do not go to El taco Loco., 15$ dollars for an orange juice is highway robbery. If you see this please do not endorse this ridiculous price

The best pistachio chocolate croissant I have ever ever tasted in my life. And i don’t even like croissants. The overall atmosphere was good. Wish they had more holiday stuff though. Definitely would go back.

Besides buying fresh fruits and products from farmers, we enjoyed the atmosphere and activities around the area. It's a good family activity.

Great market for breakfast foods, dumplings, and k8mchi. Been shopping at Dimitris olive oil between Alexandria, Courthouse, and Mosaic Farmers markets since approximately 2012. We buy their oil by the jug, some of the best extra virgin olive oil outside of Greece.

Great selection of fruits and vegetables. Lots of other vendors to support. We received great customer service from all the booths we visited.

Vibrant collection of vendors for food, drinks, dessert and produce. Hilana Falafel was exceptionally tasty with fresh ingredients. Manoushe was extremely authentic and delicious zatar breads.
