Yelp
If you live in DC, you probably already KNOW about Union Market. But if by some cosmic mishap you don't...go ahead and get in the car and go down there tonight. Pro Tip: bring a small car. The parking is limited, the spaces are small, and the lanes between them are tight. What is it? It's basically a food court, but more. Yes there is a pretty wide variety of craft/specialty food vendors there with fantastic food. From BBQ to Korean, to fresh wraps, organic smoothies, and much more. They even have a small meat market where you can get fresh meats and sausages (even some a little on the strange side!), and a cutlery shop. And if you're into a sit down place for drinks and dinner, they have that as well. They had live entertainment for the holidays, and I imagine they have it on occasion during the warmer months as well. Pro Tip 2: there is some seating outside, but very little inside. Plan on eating on the go, or carry-out, during inclement weather.

Yelp
Really fun place to check out! There are a ton of different stalls that range from ramen to ice cream to pizza that you can try, as well as a lot of shops in and around the area that make for a fun hangout. It does get very crowded here on the weekend, prices aren't exactly cheap (in fact some range on the higher end of things), and parking is hard to find. But I would still recommend coming here for the vibes!

Yelp
GENERAL Union Market District is a classic DC food hall, offering an impressive variety of culinary options to satisfy any craving. Whether you're in the mood for gourmet sandwiches from Neopol, thick-crust pizza from Parachute, or refreshing bubble tea from Spot of Tea, there's something for everyone. The hall also features a range of bakeries serving freshly baked pastries, cozy coffee shops for your caffeine fix, and a host of other eateries offering global flavors. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or looking to explore new flavors, Union Market is a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike. PARKING Ample parking is available in the lot near Union Market. However, be cautious and keep valuables out of sight, as break-ins are known to happen in the area.

Yelp
Plenty of indoor eateries to pick from. I suggest trying a few items from different places. Some items are easily shared with another person. While here I tried the dumpling place, the shrimp etouffee, a milkshake (next door to the dumpling spot) and a grilled cheeses sandwich from one of the spots as you enter. Amazing service from all the vendors I tried and amazing value as well! A must visit!

Yelp
As a child I remember coming into Washington DC by Amtrak & being in the Union Terminal Market. In 2012 the new Union Market opened with many restaurant and shopping options. La Cosecha a 20,000 SF Latin Market with authentic & contemporary expressions of Latin culture through cuisine, retail incubations & artist partnerships opened in 2019. Today Union Market is a District with 45-acre streetscape and two food halls. There's also a sprawling rooftop bar, the Hi-Lawn, with views of the U.S. Capitol. This place is great for large groups with a green turf dotted with picnic tables. Union Market is lined with vendors that reflect the city's rich immigrant food scene. There's 2fifty BBQ, a Texas-style BBQ restaurant run by Salvadoran immigrants; Banana Blossom Bistro serving up Vietnamese banh mi and pho, Havanna Sandwich, one of the best Cuban sandwiches in town & ruby chocolate cherry ice cream at The Creamery. Happy hour is a D.C. institution & Serenata at La Cosecha is the place for it. The bar serves spicy margaritas, Cotton & Reed is a craft rum distillery with a tasting room, boozy slushies at garden bar Suburbia. The Crooked Run Fermentation is a Virginia-based producer offering lagers to IPAs to barrel-aged stouts, ciders and sours.

Yelp
A pleasant indoor place with lots of food options and various seating areas (nicer than food courts). It is much better than Philadelphia's Reading Terminal and rivals New York's Chelsea Market. It is actually beautiful in some corners, not just utilitarian. Love the creativity and fun some vendors are having, such as the Aboveground (with London Underground signage). It is clean (and frequently cleaned) so that's a plus. Outdoor seating also available but not for us on this super hot summer day.

Yelp
A neighborhood with a lot going on! Visiting from the west coast, I dragged myself out of bed late (jet lag is a thing), in search of coffee and breakfast-adjacent food. I first hit Blue Bottle for coffee and a juice, and get my bearings. Once caffeinated, I wandered through the new market, and poked around some of the older shops in the neighborhood as well. There's a variety of shops in the area so worth wandering around. The Union Market food court (for lack of a better definition) is solid. Good food offerings. I had no problem finding a table, though it was Monday before noon. Ordered a tasty avocado bowl from On Toast and people watched for a bit. I'd definitely explore this area more were I to return to this neighborhood.

Yelp
We stopped at Union Market for a drink and a bite to eat. Union Market is an indoor market and food hall. There were a few stalls dedicated to selling meats and dairy, a knife stall, and a Turkish blanket stall. Most others are restaurants, bars and dessert shops with influences from all over the world. While the walk ways are large, weekends are crowded. Be prepared for lines, waits for food, and lots of sifting through crowds! When the weather is nice there is a great patio area with picnic tables, umbrellas, some lawn chairs, and bench seating. There is also a rooftop bar but we didn't have a chance to check out this visit. There seemed to be a nearby parking lot, but we didn't find a spot - for $6 we parked on a nearby street for a few hours.

Yelp
Nice food hall/knick-knack market with plenty of food stalls for dine-in, take out and groceries, restaurants with counter space to sit and dine. A wide array of food, however, sadly - food from the Caribbean nor countries from Africa are not represented. I saw multiple, several Asian stalls, Italian/pizza, Turkish, Latin Empenadas, Mexican-Korean fusion tacos, seafood, ramen, tea, coffee, pastries, burgers. No Caribbean, Cuban, Dominican, no Ethopian,Eritrean, nor West African foods. Do not go at lunch time on a weekend, there's limited parking and limited places to sit. It gets very crowded. Overwhelmingly crowded. I've been here several times over the years and I'm still not certain how I feel. The place can get so crowded, that it can become difficult to have a good experience. If you are with one other person on a busy/peak time, you can maneuver and find a place to sit. However, if you are dining during peak times with a group of people, come later to avoid the peak dining hours. Bottom line, it's ok, however my opinion is completely biased because I am comparing it to Reading Terminal Market in Philly because that's where it's at! This is no Reading Terminal, but it's as close as DC is going to get.

Yelp
Great spot to hangout at, parking is great if you can find a spot in the lot but if not Street paring isn't too bad. Great for groups or just solo dolo. It's a food court so lord of great spots and so many different options. They have coffee, sweets, food, ice cream, etc. Literally something for everyone!

Yelp
Hey I think this place is awesome!! I haven't been since a few years ago when BOWS Fest (Black-Owned Wine & Spirits Festival) was held on the upper floor... technically I guess I wasn't in the market then, huh? So truthfully I haven't been inside since B Doughnut was in the market many years ago! Anyways, I had time to kill ahead of a show, so I walked through. There's a sit-down restaurant connected to it, several bars, and several tables, low and high, so either sit down and work, eat, drink, or all of the above. I walked around and grabbed a few nibbles (that I will review later on), but I really like the layout of the place! There's quite a few places to take in. It's unclear whether patrons are able to sit at the areas that are closed -- for example, I saw quite a few bar areas that had plenty of stools, but they were closed. Is it okay to sit there? I considered it since it was away from other folks, but I also didn't want to get in trouble, haha. I'll be back!

Yelp
Great place to meet with friends and bring the kids to play in the open roof! We love coming when we're in town.

Yelp
Our friend took us to this international market this last Sunday for a late lunch. The market was bustling with people. They had outdoor seating with music as well. It was really cool. There were many yummy cuisine choices in this market: Creole, Southern, Korean, Middle Eastern, Indian, etc. They also had various dessert vendors like bubble tea, ice cream, macarons, etc. The setup reminded me of Reading Terminal Market in Philly. I ended up choosing Southern food by Puddin'. I bought a shrimp po boy. It was my first time trying this sandwich and it was quite flavorful. The sandwich was a good size. The service was good. They let you sample some items before purchase. That was cool. Value - good value for the food. I'm looking forward to going back to this market the next time I'm in the area. I recommend everyone to check this place out.

Yelp
I went there for lunch with friends and really loved it. The market has stalls from several restaurants in the city (and probably a few that only exist in the market?) so there are lots of options if you have a group and want to try different meals or if everyone one wants something different. I got Gumbo from Puddin', a friend got Persian Plants and Peas from Immigrant Food and another friend got an Atlantic dog Po' Boy with a side of pickled Asian vegetables from a stall I don't remember. We all enjoyed our meals... you do have to order at the specific restaurant and take your food to your table or to go though so there is no table service but there is ample seating outside and on the roof with some umbrellas or shade. There are also stalls for clothing, cheese, drinks and so on... a little something for everyone. Definitely a good spot for a casual hang, I would go again.

Yelp
Union Market is an enclosed public market and food hall that opened in Washington, D.C. in 1931. Originally known as the 'Union Terminal Market', it was established as a replacement for the old Center Market that was located near the National Mall. It became an important part of the Washington food infrastructure to feed a growing city population. The current building was completed in 1967 to replace the older space, which did not comply with safety and sanitation standards. The market is considered to be the anchor of the surrounding area, which is now known as the Union Market District: a neighborhood encompassing high-rise apartments, office buildings, retail, and entertainment options. Today the food hall features 66 vendors and Bon Appétit Magazine has called it one of the 5 best food halls in the country. My family and I recently visited Union Market while we were staying in DC for a short vacation. We had plans to visit a brewery later in the day, so we decided to go to the market and grab some food to take with us there. The market had so many choices that it made our heads spin. Italian, Seafood, Thai, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Argentinean, Pizza, British, Korean BBQ, Ramen, Mexican... you name it and they had the cuisine! I made a stop at Yasmine (a Lebanese-inspired kebab shop) where I ordered "Beef Shawarma" (pickled turnips, salata, sumac onions, herbs) with sides of "French Fries with Toum" and "Falafel". My wife stopped at Lucky Buns (a burger shop) where she ordered the "Dirty Bird Bun" (crispy fried chicken thigh, shark sriracha, lucky sauce, shrettuce, onion, pickles) and a side of "Thick Cut Fries" (malt vinegar mayonnaise). For our son, we stopped at Parachute Pizza (a Sicilian-style pizzeria) and ordered him a big square of Pepperoni Pizza. We enjoyed all of our choices later on at the brewery. We really enjoyed our trip to Union Market and look forward to returning the next time that we are in DC!

Yelp
Excellent place to explore in the city with a variety of great food options! There are many food vendors and little shops at union market so even if you go either a group and not everyone wants the same thing, everyone can get something different. There's also plenty of seating both inside and out, and parking isn't terrible. I was able to find street parking pretty easily about a block from the entrance. Aside from the food, the little shops that are there are so cute! There's some clothing stores, jewelry vendors, a plant shop, and some other miscellaneous shops. This is a great spot to come if you're visiting from out of town or just want somewhere to explore for an afternoon!

Yelp
This is my go to spot for affordable meet ups with friends or when guests are in town. I've even done workout sessions! When it comes to food, they have sooooooo many affordable options. Everyone can get what they want, regardless of what they're in the mood for. Some Saturdays, I would sit outside, enjoy a nice meal, and listen to a live band next to the parking lot. Other times, it would be a summer night meet up on the roof for live music, drinks, and games. It can get crowded, but when there's a big holiday, it's a ghost town because most people leave the city. The parking is also free so that is a major draw as well.

Yelp
Have come here a couple times and love the energy of the place. They have quite a few vendors and it's fun to walk around and pick out stuff you want to eat / drink. Parking is a struggle, but if you can get to the parking garage next door, the first 3 hours is free as of 8/24/2024 so that's what I used instead of parking on the street or in the small lot.

Yelp
Fun place to walk around and treat yourself to different foods. I many choices that you can't go wrong.

Yelp
good offerings internet, like the whole cone together thing, location is getting there. akin to your parkland market or reading terminal, groups of dining facilities all under one roof. clever doing that of course, something for everyone! the area is really coming back if you catch my drift, heard this location was 'sorted' in its past, seems decent these days, but we went for lunch, ymmv! i got some fish tacos, the rest had sorted fare, moderately priced!

Yelp
Puddin Southern Comfort Food is amazing with their bread pudding and gumbo. The gumbo is a turkey based sausage for those who don't eat pork . Please check them out and The creamery vanilla bean ice cream goes great with the bread pudding too. Make sure you see them too. The gumbo is accompanied with white rice is a bowl packed with flavor and spices. If you like gumbo with a flavorful roux, then this is your spot. The portion of food was great.

Yelp
WIth over 20+ rotating vendors, I can't count on how many fingers and toes that I've been here since its opening in 2012. After the pandemic, about 1/2 of the vendors are new! The food landscape has changed so much since it's opening from meaty food to more ethnic cuisines and cool rooftop (you have to climb up a lot of stairs!). Favorite Food Stalls: - Uzu Ramen (5/5) - The tofu ramen has a spicy kick and bursting with flavor! - DC Dosa (5/5) - The crispy crepe like dosas are bursting with flavor! I love all of the savory stuffings - the rich eggplant and sweet potatoes, curried potatoes with yukon potatoes, and roasted veggie cauliflower and cabbage stuffing. I can never decide, and usually get all of them! You can't go wrong. The sweet peanut sauce with the spicy chutney adds a great kick! Definitely make some room for the Chaat. So much fun to watch the dosas being prepared from pouring the batter into the skillet, adding in the fillings, and cooked to perfection! - Ravehook Bakery (5/5) - The weekly special tomato and mozzarella focaccia bread was scrumptious! The pies looked quite tempting! I see Ravenhook Bakehouse at the City Center and Penn Quarter farmers market, so glad they have a stall at Union Market! - On Toast (4/5) - It's a tad expensive at $9 for toast, the fresh ingredients make this a great brunch toast spot! This vendor closes early at 2pm. The zesty Mushroom goat cheese toast was a perfect blend of ingredients and paired well with pesto mayo on multi-grain bread (I got a choice of multi-grain or sour dough). It made up for the well-done/slightly burnt toast and the bread was okay. The grilled mushrooms was the stand-out along with the combo of ingredients! - District Donut (4/5) - The best flavors run out quickly! On Sunday afternoon, there were only a few flavors left. The savory Everything Cream cheese donut was surprisingly good with a bold flavor of chives. My hubby enjoyed the old-fashioned donut. - TaKorean (4/5): Scrumptious Korean tacos and salad bowls. The caramelized tofu with house-made hoisin sauce and topped with pickled cabbage kimichi and lime crema hits the spot! The Whisked moist chocolate chip cookies are divine. - The Creamery (4/5): GrapeNut, Java Cookie, and Salted Caramel unique ice cream flavors tickle my tastebuds and the ooey gooey warm chocolate chip cookie was divine. - Som Tai (3/5) - The Kao Soi may not be available or the restaurant could be closed preparing dishes, so definitely have a back-up plan especially on the weekdays. The Kapow has a heap of crispy, tender cubed tofu in a chili sauce and green beans. It was bursting with flavor and the heat/spiciness wasn't overpowering. There wasn't a morsel or trace of tofu left! I wasn't a fan of the clumpy purple rice and would have preferred regular sticky rice. - Immigrant Foods (3/5) - The overstuffed Falafel Bocadilla pita sandwich was smothered with tahini sauce and very messy to eat! While I enjoyed the crispy falafel balls and the fluffy pita, the red peppers, cucumbers, and other toppings sunk to the bottom of the sandwich and they were a bit more evenly distributed with the tahini sauce. With tax, I paid $18 for a good, but not stellar falafel sandwich and wish it came with a small side of fries as a default (there's a $3 upcharge!). - Banana Blossom (3/5) - The Garden Roll was fresh and fun to try, but packed with lots of vermicelli noodles. I wish there was more tofu and veggies in the roll and the mushroom didn't blend well with the rolls. The peanut sauce had a mild spicy kick. I would skip the rolls and get the Bowl or Banh Mi. - Spot of Tea (3/5) - The oatmilk Matcha and Black Sesame soft cream and Oreo crumble was Instagram worthy and fun to try, but nearly as tasty as it looked. It was quite bland. - Little Wild Things Farm (2/5) - The round hearty Brazilian bread topped with onion and cheese and stuffed with cheese and tomato was fun to try, but very dense. - Cucina Al Volo (1/5) - The pasta is undercooked and the pesto is very oily. I love al dente homemade pasta, but the pasta and sauce are underwhelming. I've been to Al Volo at the City Center farmer market and its brick and mortar shop in Metro Center and had terrible experiences. After giving countless chances, I'm just not a fan of Al Volo. - Outdoor Drink cart (2/5) - Don't expect craft cocktails. I prefer their wine over the sugary sweet cocktails. Better yet, I would head to the wine stall and get a bottle. Be careful walking around in the evening. Although the area is gentrifying with luxury high-rise buildings popping up, seafood warehouses slowly transforming into Michelin Starr restaurants and cozy coffeehouses, it's still a bit sketchy with grungy alleyways and construction in the works. Parking is easy to find - there are always empty parking spots in the big lot in front of the market. Excited for a new culinary experience with the latest line-up of vendors!

Yelp
Local public market with a wide selection of affordable options. No matter what you have a taste for, they have it! I love that it's a great place to get together with others without having to compromise on the type of cuisine you want to eat. My favorites were Puddin' and Takorean. Some of the business let you taste their items and others take their time explaining their menu to the customer. Overall nice people, excellent service, good vibes, and great food!

Yelp
Union Market District is a good place for all the " Good Eats" . My sister and I went in a Saturday afternoon and it was drizzling outside . We didn't mind. The weather felt good. We walked through Union Market and loved the different options for food. In addition, I love the diversity and how friendly culture of the people were . I ordered two slices of pizza with a glass of red wine and my sister had a chicken pasta dish . Both food items were good . When I ordered my wine, the bartender was friendly and hospital . Finding seats was challenging inside but others still chose to sit outside although it was drizzling . We sat with two their women and enjoyed a friendly conversation and good food . Union Market is always a good look rather it's a Saturday chill day or date day or date night !

Yelp
I love exploring the different food choices and bustling vibes here. There are so many options that it's hard to decide. However, some of the food is hit or miss. We got some food from this Chinese stall, and it was very mid. It was kinda salty and didn't have much of a taste for being kinda pricey. But we did enjoy the black sesame ice cream even though the boba from the same stall was just mostly water and tapioca balls. Service is kinda slow as sometimes the staff are MIA and hard to reach out to.

Yelp
Since my first visit in late 2021, I feel like Union Market has changed a lot (various vendors have come and go, like many food halls and markets). I love that the Union Market District has so much different food to offer, ranging from Asian (+ fusion), a whole food hall for Latin American options (La Cosecha), and lots of different dessert options such as ice cream, coffee and donuts. I've had several hits with restaurants in this area and a couple misses, but I'll highlight the ones I enjoy. + La Cosecha - lots of Latin American vendors inside this food hall to check out, but I enjoyed Las Gemalas and hoping to check out other vendors + O-Ku - on the more expensive side for sushi, but they have nice happy hour deals + Spot of Tea - the boba here is my favorite in DC, their Blue Jasmine is so fragrant and they don't up charge for oatmilk + Van Leeuwen - delicious east coast ice cream chain with unique flavors There's a few vendors I've heard great things about and would like to try one day: The Creamery, Peregrine Espresso, Maman, and more! Union Market also has a parking lot outside that's free for three hours.

Yelp
I visited this market many years before, so it is so awesome to visit the market and see it has GREW in size and stores! I visited the market for DC's first coffee festival and it was awesome! Spacious, plenty of vendors, the live music created a relaxing vibe to try coffees and try delicious bites. There is street parking available, but your best option is to plan ahead with the nearby parking garages. Price ranges from $-$$ and there are plenty of options to select food. There was some confusion on how to enter the building, but otherwise service was smooth.
google avatar

Tera P.

Yelp
Great for a beautiful day when your folks can't decide on what they really want. Allow everyone to choose their own. We had pasta, a burger and a rice beef bowl. All of the dishes were about $15 dollars. Depending on the time of day might be a bit difficult to find a seat but don't forget to check the outdoor seating as well. Free parking just outside the market.
google avatar

Carolina A.

Yelp
I stopped at Bun'd Up to try out their combo deal of 3 buns for $13. I got the Korean bbq beef bulgogi, shredded pork belly & soy sauce fried chicken. It was hard to pick a favorite since I really loved all of them!! I also tried my partners spicy fried chicken one and that one was also delish of course. If I had to choose I would say the pork belly one because the aioli and pineapple kimchi on top of the savory saucy tender pork really hit the spot
google avatar

Yelp
Big indoor+outdoor compilation of food spots and food trucks offering all kinds of different cuisines. Relatively clean and no fuss with plenty of outdoor and scattered indoor seating. Parking garages nearby or you may get lucky parking on the streets adjacent to the building. Nice shops nearby to walk off your brunch/lunch but I wouldn't be caught here after dark.

Yelp
We love food halls so we were very interested in coming here in DC. This one is one of the bigger ones we've been to with a ton of options. One thing to note is that their website lists places that have standalone restaurants in the general Union Market area that aren't in the food hall, so not everything they list is part of the food hall itself. My husband and I tried: - Dirty Bird Bun from Lucky Buns - Etoufèe and Brown Butter Bourbon Bread Puddin' from Puddin' - Sausage Roll from AboveGround - PB&J Bao Bun from Bun'd Up - Peaches n' Cream Donut from District Doughnut We really enjoyed everything we got. My favorite thing was the chicken sandwich from Lucky Buns followed by the Etoufèe from Puddin'. I think there outdoor seating area could be improved a bit. There is a pretty good size patio area and a large rooftop which is nice, but there are very few tables with umbrellas so most are in the sun. There were so many other places I wanted to try, so I'd love to come back whenever I'm in DC next.

Yelp
This was our first visit to the Union Market, and it will definitely not be our last. My son got a Brisket Sandwich, Mac & Cheese, and Cole Slaw from 2fifty's. He loved it. The beef was delicious and lean (but not dry), and they loaded his sandwich! I got a Salmon Poke Bowl from The District Fishwife, and it was also delicious. Out desserts were Bourbon Brown Sugar Bread Pudding from Puddin and a Pistachio Kouign Amann from the Sweet Lobby. The bread pudding was amazing, but the Kouign Amann was the only disappointment of the entire meal. It was stale and just didn't taste good. We washed everything down with an Iced Coffee and Iced Vanilla Latte from Peregrine. YUM.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the variety of food options in Union market! It's a wide selection of cuisines, seafood, desserts, and more, including some of the popular restaurants in the DMV area! Make sure to check out the rooftop seating area too! The view is great but there is construction all around
google avatar

Veronica A.

Yelp
I have been here before, but it's been a while, so they have added more stslls and places to shop inside and outside. They have a variety of different food and drinks. They do have seats if you want to relax and eat. We didn't stay long. It's like a full square of shopping and dining like a flee market but nicer. The service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
Great boujee place for foodies! High quality food, but high prices. Free parking too. Negatives: Some stores add hidden service charges (slimey!). Parking lot is tiny and chaotic. Roof top bar workers chase you away from sitting at tables - even when there's nobody there!
google avatar

Yelp
A great market area in DC filled with a wide variety of food options. You can almost get any type of cuisine here and they also have non food options as well. From kitchen knives, home decor, liquor store, meat and seafood counter. The place has been packed when I have gone and there are multiple bars for seating. There is a rooftop bar and a kitchen as well. The rooftop was packed with all kinds of people from families to young singles enjoying a nice afternoon. They offer yard games that you can play to pass the time. This is a great spot to spend the afternoon or to get some groceries. Everything is high quality and the prices are a little high I noticed. There are also some great restaurants and shops in the area if you want to walk around and explore.
google avatar

Yelp
Union Market is a very eclectic area. It's primarily a food hall with fares ranging from Asian to Middle Eastern and everything in between. There's a little bit of something for everyone. In between the food stalls are mini pop up shops. The location can get extremely busy and parking can be a battle. The price ranges are standard, around the $$ limit. Think fast food service, but with better food. If the weather permits, definitely check out Hi-Lawn, their roof top bar. They are family friendly and have games for people to enjoy.

Yelp
I'm not going to lie, the millennial in me loves a good remake of an old historic building into shops and cool restaurants. My best friend, who recently moved to the suburbs in Virginia and also happens to be a chef, said she heard a lot about Union Market so we decided to meet up and have a cocktail and a few apps before dinner in the area. There seems to be a lot going on here and there are plenty (PLENTY!) of seating areas and places to just hang if that's what you're in to. Check the event calendar if you want to see what else is happening, especially on the pretty cool rooftop. The food vendors and the shops are interesting and well worth taking a look at. We came in around 530PM on a Tuesday and it was pretty packed so keep that in mind as well.

Yelp
Union market has plenty of food to eat, places has more than 20 vendor to choose from ramen, Italian, Spanish, bakery, Indian, seafood for purchase and to eat. The market has plenty of food goodie for food afficionado. The even a couple of place that served alcohol. Each vendor has their own staff to assist you once you go up to their counter. The staff is normally friendly. I have been here on the weekend and or weekday. I prefer on weekdays less crowded and plenty of parking available. The area is fine during the day but it can be dangerous at night. So be vigilant of your surroundings. There plenty of construction in the area.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a while. Nice market with all types of eateries. There is even a rooftop area. Free parking lot, but sometimes can be hard to find a space since the Market is so popular. Right across from Galludet University.

Yelp
We enjoyed our visit here. It's been gentrified and looks completely different compared to about six years since our last visit. It was packed on a Saturday. Variety of eateries and a nice place to walk around. Everyone was in good spirits. Pricey though.

Yelp
Union Market is great because there's something for everyone. There are over 40 different local vendors and numerous cuisine options. The prices for most of the restaurants are very reasonable. I highly recommend Lucky Buns, Bun'd Up and Puddin. There is also a rooftop area with a bar and games (cornhole, jenga etc).

Yelp
If you're looking for a great food hall in DC with a huge selection of international and local flavors, then head over to Union Market. Easily accessible from the Red Line at the NoMa-Gallaudet metro station. At Union Market, you can find everything from dumplings to donuts. If you like Asian fusion, I highly recommend trying out Takorean, combining Korean flavors with tacos! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Dope market with lots of food options. Decent outdoor seating area and a rooftop. Nice to check out in the spring and summertime.

Yelp
It is a food with a number of small restaurants. Different food, drinks and coffees. Seems like this area was revitalized recently.

Yelp
waste of time and space. This place was built to take people's money, because it provide s nothing for the existing community, they took the area from the business man, to create a community to shop in this worthless market. They provide a business that sharpens knives, but at what cost? I believe, $20.00 to shapen a 7 inch blade, if not more.

Yelp
First time at Union Market and it's an extremely big (and expanding) food hall with diverse choices of options to choose from. Parking and seating is the most chaotic part, but overall had a nice experience. The rooftop is nice, but there's limited seating; similar with the outside patio. If you're interested in events hosted in Union Market, make sure to have a ticket beforehand.
