FreshFish Poke

I am a poke connoisseur and I absolutely love Fresh Fish poke. It’s a food cart that has very fresh fish, large portions, and great toppings. I love their house sauce and I always get every single topping available! I’ve never been disappointed here.

I think if I had to eat any food everyday for the rest of my life it would be raw fish. And this place has some of the best. I love the poke bowl I got. It was delicious and I loved the presentation. Big portion too. Service was also excellent. Will definitely be coming back!

Outrageously good value. Super fresh and yummy, lots of ingredient choices. Large poke bowl with extra protein scoop is $20, and is three meals for me. The guy who's always working when I'm there is really nice.

The guy who took my order was polite and the food was super yummy, also the portion size was great for the price compared to the couple other poke spots I've visited recently. There's covered outdoor seating in the food cart park and neighborhood parking. :) (You can't see the fish in the picture, but I ordered the salmon and there was lots of it hiding underneath the toppings!!)

These poke bowls are well presented, delicious and ingredients are always fresh. Excellent service. Prompt preparation and good portions.

Back again to the best poke bowl in town IMHO. Beautifully crafted as always, which made my appetite spike instantly. Everything tasted fresh. The salmon and tuna were both great together. I had my poke over spring salad and that's a really nice option to have instead of rice. Thanks again!

We were visiting in the area and heard about the food cart pod! Made our way over, and the first thing I saw was FreshFish Poke. I got the build your bowl, which was $15 for a regular, and it was pretty big! I got the white rice, ahi tuna, red onion, green onion, crab salad, crispy garlic, and crispy onion (if you can't tell, I love onions lol). It tasted very fresh and was really good! I debated between the house poke sauce and the classic hawaiian. The guy let me try the house sauce because he said it was a little spicy, and since we were from out of town, I decided to do as the Romans do and got the house sauce. It was good and not really that spicy! It had a flavor that reminded me of something, but I couldn't quite place it. Service was very friendly, and he was very patient while I decided between the sauces. Lots of food for a good price, I definitely recommend!

I notated "put sauce on the side" because I don't like drenched poke. Instead I got poke with no sauce at all. Called the owner and he made it right! People make mistakes. It's about how they resolve the issue!

Solid poke don spot. Not traditional hawaiian poke, more like japanese fusion (I think?) but - good variety of options, mix and match or pick one of the presets, watch them make it right in front of you. Plenty of food for a reasonable price, fish is nice and fresh, good sauces and toppings. I'm a fan.

We ordered from FreshFish Poke and the food was delicious. They carefully craft their poke bowls. You have the option to choose one with all the ingredients chosen for you, or you can make your own. I'm not gonna lie. I liked it so much that I ordered again the next day. The first time I ordered a bowl with the ingredients picked for me and the second time, I crafted my own bowl. I definitely liked their better...FreshFish Poke knows what they're doing. The food was fresh and again, so so delicious!

I always come here for poke bowls! It never disappoints. It's not traditional Hawaiian style, but it's the best I've had in Portland. I highly recommend the spicy salmon don. Very fresh and flavorful. They also fill up on toppings & I always add crab salad bc they don't charge extra for it.

Went to the fresh fish poke in the foot truck pod. Quick and easy and pretty good. I would get again.

This food pod area is so clean, modern and food was quick and delicious. I had only had poke one time before - but you can order with greens or rice base and add your protein, choice of sauce (I had my poke in Hawaii so I chose that) and then as many veges as you want! I had green onions, edamame, corn...fish was very fresh. Absolutely yummy.

HOLY SHIT! We love this place! We got the Spicy Salmon and World Class! It's fresh and the flavors are amazing. Also, for $17 for a large bowl! You can't beat it. The owner was so sweet and kind, he was genuinely just happy to be feeding us! 5/5! Coming back to bring my parents here!

Fresh salmon and really good portions. We ordered a large and topped it with pretty much everything and it was delicious. It's in an area that is more quiet and if you are around, it's a good meal.

One of the happier things in life is finding good poke spots in town and this one was one of the best that I've tried! Eating their build your own bowl was such a bliss. I got the atlantic salmon, tuna, and spicy tuna with most of the toppings. All very fresh ingredients from the fish to the toppings: crispy cucumber, tender avocados, delicious crab and seaweed salad, sweet sweetcorns, and crunchy fried garlic and shallots. Every bite was unique and fun. The Red Miso Sauce was super flavorful without being overpowering, tying the bowl together. I especially loved the hint of ginger and well-balanced spices in the sauce. Coming in at a 32oz bowl for the large size, their portion is HEFTY to say the least. My bowl was, in every sense of the words, packed to the brim with deliciousness. This might be the first poke bowl I couldn't finish in one go! Not that it wasn't tasty, clearly, but boy they're generous. Crazy to think that this meticulously put together beauty of a bowl came from a food truck, but maybe it's not. So much love and attention was put into their food. What a great find, couldn't be happier I check them out and so should you!

Loved the food and all the options. I felt the prices were perfect for the amount of food.

Price: $16 (32oz) for a personalized bowl In my bowl I got half rice/half salad topped with salmon mixed in spicy creamy habanero sauce for takeout. The chunks of poke were fairly sized and the sauce was not spicy at all for being the spiciest option. For toppings I chose cucumber, red onion, masago, seaweed salad, crab salad, etc., since it was unlimited toppings. The poke (salmon) itself tasted average and slightly fishy however the portion sizes were amazing and customer service was spectacular. The toppings made the dish imo

We grubhubbed it here and both had the Sensei bowl over veggies. Wow! There really ARE all those ingredients... and they are magic together! So many flavors, fresh fish, just the right spiciest, and furikake and more made the textures wonderful. Top to bottom, the whole thing was a delight and an adventure! I never really liked poke much but now, I SO do!

I ordered the "world class poke" and my wife got the spicy salmon bowl. Both were really good, a perfect combination of fresh ingredients and warm rice. Mine was tossed with some sort of green dressing and topped with crab salad and seaweed salad and crispy onions and sesame. So much texture and flavor! Yummy.

I've tried all their fish options and it has always been fresh with wonderful textures. Service is fast and unlimited toppings is the biggest plus!

Picture it. Its April 25th, the City of Roses has finally emerged from the dank and darkness of a long, wet, cold winter. Portlanders have been huddled in our homes for months, yearning for just a little respite from the gloom and today is that day! Just the 2nd day in 2023 where the temperature has climbed over 60. The forecast for the rest of the week only getting better, culminating in an 85-degree Friday! You can feel hope in the air. Its late afternoon, the sun is streaming into my living room, the heat has finally been turned off, I'm watching an NBA playoff game with my partner, I've puffed on a lovely little East Fork - Create pre-roll. Today is a good day. A day for poke. I've ordered, for the first time, from Fresh Fish Poke. I take my first bite, a combination of avocado & crab salad.... The avocado is creamy & plentiful, the crab salad is crab salading. The house poke sauce is sweet with a little heat that is surprising but perfect. I find my next bite, a beautiful chunk of salmon, rice, cucumber, corn & crispy shallots. The salmon melted in my mouth, and I thought, is this the best poke bowl ever?? More bites, more joy. I said out loud to my partner, "this is the best poke bowl I've ever had". He replied, "I heard you the first time". Had I blacked out from deliciousness??? As I kept eating, I knew there would be many more trips in my future to this paradise of poke, this curator of creatures of the deep, for this fabulous fish feast. Seriously though, it's SO good. Great portions, the fish is fresh and delicious, the toppings are unlimited & these lovely people are not stingy with them. It's been a week; I've ordered twice & am currently waiting for them to open so I can go again. This is going to be my go-to poke spot in SE Portland. I did the build your own poke bowl with white rice, salmon, house poke sauce, and a ton if toppings (unlimited). I also got the large size and after tipping paid ~$16. I thought that was kind if pricey BUT the poke bowl is HUGE. The biggest poke bowl I have ever had and the salmon was good. I just got out of the gym and can usually eat a good amount but I might settle for the regular size next time. The large size are for those who are extra hungry 5/5, definitely coming back and would recommend if you're looking to get some good poke in town.

Wife had never had POKE before. She was sold. We were just on our way back to the ferry home, and needed a late lunch . . . this was perfect. Great flavors and really tasted fresh & good. I waited in the car with my wife and instead of making me come back inside, they brought out food out to us. Nice touch.

Really disappointing food. We ordered online and left a large note to put the sauce on the side since none of the ingredients are listed and it was ignored. The rice was also thoroughly swimming in sauce and was practically inedible. The poke sauce was pretty flavorless except for being spicy which isn't listed but if you're sensitive to spice I would avoid it. For a $17 bowl I also expect more than 5 pieces of fish. The crab salad was also very bland. All in all it was incredibly disappointing and I will not be eating here again.

Large portion of fish and fresh, tasty ingredients. Very filling meal especially for the price. Several options to choose their pre-designed meals or build your own bowls. House sauce was tasty and not too spicy for me (I have a low spice tolerance) and there were several other sauce options too. Will return to try building my own bowl next time!

Took our granddaughter out to lunch today to Hillboro Downtown Station and noticed the FreshFish Poke food truck and decided to give it a try. Both my wife and I had the Poke Your Way bowl with seared Scallops and Ahi Tuna and our granddaughter had the World Class Poke bowl. Without any hesitation, I would say it ranks right up there with the best Poke bowl I've ever had. The Tuna was excellent, but the seared Scallops were amazing. A beautiful sear, but somehow not cooked at all. Perfect. Also, all the other ingredients in the bowl were wonderfully fresh and made the bowl something special. One other thing I would suggest is don't bother with the regular size. The ultimate size difference for only a dollar makes the large a no brainer. Since we live in NE, it was suggested that we try their location on 82nd. I can only hope that it will be this good. When I'm back in Hillsboro, I will definitely stop to have this bowl again.

The large is being under filled when you order online. I've received this a couple times and it shows up looking like a small portion. Even my fiancé says the small is under portioned. The food is good, just fill the bowl!!! They raised the price recently so I don't know if it's worth it.

Mmm I now like poke! Needed this on a hot hot day in July! Got raw salmon which was a lil scary but the sweet teriyaki sauce was soooo good! Toppings added the perfect crunch and I loved the crab salad on top. Now a poke lover

This cart is located at the Eastport Food Center Carts. I came here for this poke food cart, but also order at other carts as well. The Sense Poke Bowl was really good and fresh and had great flavor. The topping is unlimited. They use quality ingredients and the fish was really good. The portions size was good too. It's a good option if you looking for something healthier then fried food and such.

This my favorite poke food cart! The workers are so kind and the food is great. I love that I can customize my bowl and they have such a wide array of toppings, especially for a food cart. And being able to see them prep everything fresh is so great. I miss the food already!

The person who was in charge of the poke was really nice. He noticed that my poke bowl was still too plain and still offered me if I wanted to put any more toppings. He was extremely nice about it. I've never had any restaurant owner ask for extra toppings. That was the first. I'm definitely coming back there soon. The portion was great and you're able to do half and half. It's good!

Solid. I like the "build your own" bowl, because it's fun to try random different toppings together. The large bowl is a great deal. If ordering online, be sure to order well ahead of time, there's always a lot of orders in the queue. This place is popular for a good reason.

We went yesterday and after moving from Hawaii we have high expectations of poke bowls. I got a build your own bowl with half greens/half rice, ahi, creamy haberno, avocado, furikake, seaweed salad, crispy garlic/shallot, onion and sesame seeds. I thought it was delicious! For the price I would've liked a little more fish but I did enjoy the unlimited toppings. My husband thought the house poke sauce was a little sweet but other than that we enjoyed!

Excellent cart. Large portions of fresh fish, rice hits the nail on the head, ingredients are well done and keep the bowls interesting. Had the sensei bowl since it's the best seller according to the menu. Would recommend

Amazing fresh poke. I've never had poke that left me so full! It was chock full of delicious veggies, rice and fish. This is my second time here and it does not disappoint!

The ingredients are fresh and plentiful and I would love to give this place a 5-star rating. BUT... I selected the spicy salmon as a topping and they covered half of my order in spicy sauce, so my tongue is on fire and I can't taste anything other than spicy. I wanted a little spice, otherwise I could have ordered a spicy main protein, which I did not. Ugh.

I ordered the regular size and it was a lot of food! I asked for no radish or green onion and they graciously accommodated. Beautiful presentation and delicious. Next time I might try to build my own bowl or try the chip base; can't wait to be hungry again ; )

Food was gross and slimy. It didn't have much flavor and the sauce was to strong to eat.

This place was good. I will go back again. I had the spicy salmon don with rice and veggies. I really liked the creamy habanero sauce on it. My order came out pretty quick. Fresh cucumber avocado and spinach.

Best poke in town! Not only is it convenient and fast being a food cart- their poke sauce and fish is great! I love how they have options to customize and make your own poke bowl, with allll the toppings you could want! They also have menu options for people who want their recommendations. It's pretty affordable for the portion that you get and how fresh the poke is.

My favorite poke bowl on the East side! Love their house poke sauce and the fact that they have a good variety of unlimited toppings. Used to have to go all the way to Beaverton to get this, so I was happy when I saw they opened a second location! FYI: couldn't find any posted business hours yet (went on a Sunday before, but they were closed). Tried again on MLK day, and the gentleman working said that they are usually open Wednesday-Saturday, with some special days added like today.
