"The locals love this restaurant that specializes in innovative vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free food, as well as a great selection of craft beer (including Pliny the Elder). The servings are huge, the service is super friendly, and even better: weather permitting, there’s a second-story deck with lake views." - Julie Brown Davis, Daisy Barringer

This place was amazing. The staff was super attentive, the food was amazing and the view couldn't be better. The halibut taco platter was so delicious and worth every penny. The rice and beans were the best ever. The sesame sauce on the cole slaw was the perfect touch. We got extra for our tacos.

I would give this place 8 stars if I could. The food was great, the view was perfect but the staff was amazing! They went out of their way to make us happy. We accidentally left a personal item at the table, and one of the staffers chased us down in the parking lot. Amazing place, I wish we were staying longer to try more of the menu. If I get back to Tahoe, i will eat here again! An amazing experience brought by more word of mouth as we learned of this place from another couple we met out on the California coast at a random scenic park stop.

What a find this place is! I ordered the Philly sandwich and my husband had the Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry with a Halibut Fish Taco. I love that this place is Vegan and Gluten Free friendly! Our server was awesome and she also had knowledge about the menu and restrictions that customers may have when coming to eat.

I got the red curry and wow!… I’ve never had such a bland curry. It tasted like canned coconut cream with no other flavor or spices. For protein I chose shrimp and it came with 3 pieces of shrimp. 3!! We also ordered the deep fried buffalo cauliflower and most of it wasn’t crunchy. My partner said his pork ribs were on the lower end as far as ribs go. And fries weren’t good either.

This place deserves a higher star rating overall. The service was impeccable. I asked a lot of questions and got the right answers. Normally, I don't order much fried food, but I couldn't resist tempura fried veggies with peanut sauce. It was delicious and there was plenty. There were plenty of vegan options on the menu, which I really appreciated. They gave me a vegan dessert, which I got for take out... totally delicious!

Tried this place as it was recommended in the Tahoe magazine for its healthy fresh food and views from the top patio. We were unfortunately disappointed. The poke was warm and mushy with uneven stringy cuts of fish and the chips served with it were stale. Crunchy salad was decent but nothing special. Out of the 3 tacos on my husbands platter the only one worth mentioning was the jerk chicken that had good flavor. Our server was rude when I pulled my chair that was in the blazing full sun around to a shaded corner of our table. Overall not worth it for the view 👎🏼

Restaurant is located inside a strip mall, just behind the ice cream shop. Parking is free and on an off-season month, less crowds, less traffic, easier to park and have more dining options. Enjoyed our healthier-option dinner here of grilled halibut, rice, edamame, and salad. We chose the hallway booth as i felt claustrophobic inside. The halibut was perfectly cooked, the rice not so much, and the greens are freshly prepared. The salad need a tad more dressing though, and it was presented without extra dressing which i find strange. Restrooms are strictly for store customers only, just ask for the key from a worker. Restrooms were clean and supplied well.

The food is just stunningly good, like "wow" good. The vegan loaf ranks among the tastiest thing that I've had in Lake Tahoe. However, the atmosphere is... you go there for the food, and the service is so bad it feels like it is intentional or something. Don't overlook the need to have a key for the bathroom for some inexplicable reason. Despite all that, we went back to try more dishes because it's just stellar. My girlfriend reported that the kombucha was also just great so it seems the chef has exquisite taste and the manager is just phoning it in. I'd go back next year, but adopt a zen attitude first
