Wow. This has consistently been my favorite coffee spot in Columbia since I tried it for the first time. I love the atmosphere, the coffee, the cookies from wishflour, all of the workers here the seating, everything. It's the best quality espresso I've ever had. Anywhere. Anytime I have a visitor I bring them here.

First visit today - hard to find, but Artist Alley is one block long between 10th St & Orr, just one block north of Walnut. Easy street parking, at least at 8:30 on a Wed. morning.
Not sure how to describe the vibe - older building, more distressed, comfy. If you want a slick/modern place, this isn't the spot! Cappuccino was great. Would come again!

Great place for an espresso and syphon coffee! I hardly ever get to try a coffee made via syphon and was very surprised to have one here! The baristas are also knowledgeable about the beans being used for their espresso and coffees in general. Loved the vibe in here too! Also, both drinks were very affordable in regards to specialty coffee which is awesome!

Cute coffee spot! Went with a friend. I got a latte and they did a little design on the top, and it was really yummy. A little pricey, but worth the stop.

The coffee is... what’s another word for “life bearing elixir?” Smooth, yet bold. Assertive, yet delicate. A beautiful roast... unsure of the beans origin or roast but wow. Had one of the better Americanos in recent memory.
Lovely location, hidden down a slip alley just a block off Broadway. Quiet, yet busy enough to know this is a place worth returning.
Recommended by a professor at Mizzou, good people.

(Well known) hidden gem tucked away in the arts district. Large patio space, comfortable indoor lounge space, and amazing coffee.

I recently visited Fretboard Coffee Company in Columbia, Missouri, and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect coffee beans for my new espresso machine. They took the time to explain the different options and even shared tips on how to get the best results at home. Their passion for coffee truly shines through, and it made me even more excited to try out my new setup. I can’t wait to brew my first cup with their beans! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality coffee and exceptional customer service.
